Famous B and the Beautiful Brenda are meeting with Antonio Cueto in his office. Famous B has come to make his case for why Infamous Inc. should get a Trios Championship titles opportunity, at Aztec Warfare, no less. Cueto is unconvinced by the argument. He says that Infamous Inc. hasn’t had a very good track record, making reference to the constant problems with getting the members of his team on the same page. Famous B tells him that they’re all on the same page because they’ve all come to him to get famous! And we’s going to deliver that infamy to them when they win the Trios Championships. Cueto says that he will give them that chance as long as they can show him that they deserve it. Furthermore, he says that earlier in the day, he met with Truth Martini, who had a strong argument that Braun Strowman didn’t become the Gift of the Gods because of Infamous Inc. and so he requested a match. Cueto says that he’s going to make everyone happy by making a match for next week between Infamous Inc. and Truth Martini’s Authors of Pain. The winners of that match will get a Trios Championship title match at Aztec Warfare.

LUCHA UNDERGROUND TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIPS MATCH
PINNACLE OF SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT VS. THE GODFATHER & HIS STREET PROFITS
Hulk Hogan, John Cena & Roman Reigns vs. The Godfather, Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford
The Temple became a street party when The Godfather & His Street Profits entered the Temple. They were the clear favourite of the Believers. The Pinnacle of Sports Entertainment was not well-liked inside these walls. What may look like a lopsided affair on paper was actually a competitive match. The Godfather popped the crowed by taking all three of his opponents for separate rides on the Ho Train. Dawkins followed him into each corner by giving them all spinning stinger splashes. He would then throw them to the mat, where Ford would run over and land on them with standing shooting star presses and covered for three near falls. Dawkins and Ford even managed to execute an electric chair and blockbuster combo on Cena that nearly won the match. Unfortunately, Reigns was able to break it up. After facing quite a challenge, the PSE turned it into overdrive. They wanted to make a statement that they are now the Trios Champions and they will hold the gold longer than the Super Friends did. That is why, each of their challengers was systematically dissected with clinical precision. Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment. Reigns would wait for his opponent to get up and level him with a spear. Then, Hogan would drop the leg on them. The Godfather got it. Ford got it. And Dawkins got it. But then Dawkins was pinned and the new champions successfully defended the titles for the first time.
WINNERS : The Pinnacle of Sports Entertainment

MASH-UP WRESTLING MEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
AJ Styles vs. Angel Garza
MASH-UP WRESTLING MEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
AJ Styles vs. Angel Garza
It was the opportunity of a lifetime for the young third-generation luchador, Angel Garza, who has all the tools, but has not yet had a breakout performance or a big win in the Temple. Here, he showed that he could hang with the best in the world. Styles controlled the opening minutes of the match, but Garza evaded an attempt to hit him with a phenomenal forearm. It was the opening he needed to take control. He delivered a standing dropkick to Styles’ chest. Then, when Styles got back up, Garza ripped his pants off, threw them in his face to prevent him from seeing the wicked superkick that came next. Garza got a long 2-count off it. A few minutes later, Garza was showboating while standing on the middle ring rope, which he then performed a beautiful moonsault off of but he landed on Styles’ knees. The champion quickly rolled out to the ring apron and executed a phenomenal forearm, then as if to say he wasn’t going to waste any more time on this match, he picked up Garza and gave him the Styles Clash. He rolled him over into the pin to get the 1-2-3.
WINNER : AJ Styles
As Styles had his hand raised, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, his opponent at Aztec Warfare, entered the Temple from the floor entrance. He dropped a large burlap sack on the ring apron, rolled into the ring and knocked Styles down from behind as his hand was being raised. Roberts stomped away at Styles as he scrambled to get up, but once he made it to his feet, Roberts pulled him into a short-arm clothesline and then gave him a DDT. With the champion knocked down, Roberts dragged him over to the ropes and tied his arms up in the bottom ring ropes. Then, he went to his burlap sack and emptied it to reveal a King Cobra!
Roberts picked up the cobra and brought it close enough for Styles to come face-to-face with the venomous snake. Styles flailed his legs, kicking away perhaps to try to defend himself and free himself at the same time. Panic must have been setting in. Roberts avoided the kicks and then set the snake on Styles. It clamped down on Styles’ arm! Roberts released the snake a watched Styles scream in pain as the King Cobra’s fangs dug in deeper.
Admiring his handiwork, Roberts laughed at Styles. It was at this time that Samoa Joe entered the ring, grabbed Roberts from behind and executed a release dragon suplex on him. He rushed to Styles’ aid. Somehow, he successfully unclamped the king cobra from Styles' arm. Joe carefully tossed the snake aside and worked with referees to free up Styles from the ropes. Styles appeared to be unconscious. Joe scooped him up in his arms and carried him out of the Temple. Our last shot was of Roberts standing in the ring, holding his King Cobra in his hands, no doubt pleased at what he’s done.

IT’S A CELEBRASHION POUR LE CHAMPION!
Chris Jericho, the new holder of the Gift of the Gods, stands in the ring surrounded by gifts, balloons and confetti cannons. Jericho proclaims himself the greatest LE CHAMPION that ever lived and says he proved it by going ALL NIGHT LONG last week. He defeated not one, not two, not three, not four, but five other luchadores to finally get what he has deserved all these years – recognition that he is the best in the world at what does. No wait. Recognition that he is the Gift of the Gods to all the slobbering idiots who come to the Temple every night to watch LE CHAMPION do his thing.
But what is a celebration without friends. Jericho calls on his friends, who he dubs his Inner Circle, to come to the ring to join in the CELEBRASHION POUR LE CHAMPION! Sammy Guevara, Ortiz and Santana come to the ring. They tell LE CHAMPION how much of an inspiration he is to them and says that they want to show their appreciation by giving him some gifts. But first, they must all get in the festive mood by sharing a drink of Jericho’s brand-new wine, A Little Bit of the Bubbly. Guevara unveils the first gift, revealing a life scale cardboard cut-out image of he and Jericho sharing a hug, from one god to another. Ortiz reveals a large framed painting of Jericho and his Inner Circle compatriots. Santana gives Jericho the gift of A Little Bit of the Forty, a bottle of liquor in a paper bag.
There is one enormous gift remaining. It has a giant red ribbon and bow and the wrapping paper is an image of Jericho holding up the Gift of the Gods title belt next to his smiling face. Jericho wants to know what is in this big box. Ortiz and Santana lift a side of the box each to reveal:
Catrina! Jericho wants to know the meaning of this! They tell him it is supposed to be his father, New York Rangers legend Ted Irvine. Catrina says that she’s here to let give them the greatest gift of all. As he stops speaking, Damien Priest slides into the ring holding a police nightstick. One-by-one, he takes out Guevara, Santana and Ortiz, and traps Jericho in a corner. LE CHAMPION begs and pleads to be left alone. Catrina says that Priest will only leave him alone if he gets a shot at the Gift of the Gods, which she says would have been his if not for Jericho starting ALL NIGHT LONG with a one fall advantage and then having his cronies interfere.
Jericho hesitates and as Priest lifts the nightstick up to strike him, he’s taken down from behind by “Big Strong” Jake Hager! He pummels Priest, gives him a Vader Bomb and puts him in an ankle lock. Antonio Cueto exits his office and says he’s seen enough. He tells them all to stop or he’ll strip Jericho of the Gift of the Gods. Then he says that Catrina makes a compelling case so Jericho’s first defense of the Gift of the Gods will be against Damien Priest at Aztec Warfare.

Taya Valkyrie vs. Shayna Baszler
Taya Valkyrie vs. Shayna Baszler
Our main event pitted two great luchadoras against one another in a battle for the opportunity to challenge Asuka for the Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship at Aztec Warfare. These luchadoras came ready to for a fight. Baszler worked over Valkyrie with stiff forearm shots and spent a considerable amount of time trying to manipulate various arm joints, including the wrists, elbows, and shoulders. Valkyrie fought back with tilt-a-whirl headscissors and hurricanranas, as well as a variety of kicks, including superkicks, roundhouses, dropkicks, and thrust kicks.
The fight spilled out of the ring when Valkyrie caught Baszler on the jaw with a pair of superkicks. After that, he climbed to the top turnbuckle and performed a plancha. They brawled around ringside, sending each other into turnbuckle posts and the high-rise bleacher retaining walls. Valkyrie whipped Baszler into the wooden seats at ringside and then struck her with a running front dropkick to send her into the seats a second time. Baszler eventually countered a suplex attempt on the floor before brawling with Valyrie into the wooden bleachers where he gave her some gutwrench suplexes.
When they got back to the ring, Baszler put Valkyrie in a rear naked chokehold, but Valkyrie was able to break free by backing up into the turnbuckles a few times. After she caught Baszler in the side of the head with a roundhouse kick, she went to the far side of the ring and ran back to execute a double knee smash to the face. Valkyrie went for the cover, but Baszler kicked out. Valkyrie went to the top rope and attempted a diving double foot stomp. Baszler rolled out of the way. Valkyrie landed on her feet and did a somersault to roll through. When she got up, Baszler caught her under the chin with a running high knee strike. After that, Baszler gave her some rolling gutwrench suplexes before twisting her arm like a pretzel and then stomping on it.
Baszler continued to focus her attack on Valkyrie’s arm leading into applying a Fujiwara armbar. The attempt to make her submit was unsuccessful as Valkyrie was able to get a toe onto the bottom rope. Baszler reluctantly released the hold, then tried to push the referee aside to stay on the attack. That backfired on her as Valkyrie saw her coming and reacted by driving her shoulder into Baszler’s abdomen, then giving her a northern lights suplex transitioned into a double foot stomp. She made the cover, but Baszler kicked out of it. As Valkyrie picked up Baszler, she had her eyes gauged. The infraction went unseen by the referee. Baszler immediately took advantage by giving Valkyrie a palm strike, then putting her in position for a vertical suplex. She lifted her up and transitioned it into a seated rear naked choke by giving her the Kirifuda Driver!
Valkyrie flailed her limbs, reaching out with her arms and kicking her feet, in an effort to get to the ropes, but Baszler wrapped her legs around her to further prevent an escape. Valkyrie, much to her credit, didn’t tap out. She did, however, pass out in the hold, which led to the referee stopping the match and awarding the victory to the Queen of Spades, Shayna Baszler.
WINNER : Shayna Baszler
Shayna Baszler’s victory celebration was cut very short. Almost immediately after Baszler won, the words, “From far and wide and light years away, Cast from the shadows now light my way…” were heard throughout the Temple, signalling the arrival of the Mash-Up Wrestling Women’s World Champion, Asuka. She entered the ring and had a stare off with Baszler. She took her mask off and smiled at her while patting the title belt that she wore around her waist. As Baszler stepped nearer, Asuka spat green mist into her face and pulled her directly into the Asuka Lock. She held it in and refused to let go. Baszler couldn’t break free. Asuka released the hold when Baszler finally began to tap out. After Asuka got back to her feet, she slapped her title belt again, waited for Baszler to look in direction, and then shouted, “Shayna Baszler is not ready for Asuka!”
