Dark Matches
1. Ladies Single Match. Nicole Savoy by disq. over Nicole Matthews, interference from Portia Perez.
2. Single Match. 'Bruiser' Brody beat Cyclone Negro with a leg drop to the chest.
3. Mixed Tag Team Match. Stan 'Lariat' Hansen & Angelina Love beat Wahoo McDaniel & Liv Morgan. Love rolled up Morgan while McDaniel fought with Hansen outside of the ring.
Pay-Per-View begins
NWA announcing duo of Gordon Solie & Bob Caudle welcome the fans to the PPV. They are joined by Commissioner Jim Barnett to kick off the first match of the card.
1. NWA United States Women's Elimination Title Match. Taryn Terrell pinned Velvet Sky of the Beautiful People with a flying bodypress despite interference by Beautiful People teammate Madison Rayne. Taryn, holding the US Women's Belt, dodged an attempted 2 on 1 assault after the match. Terrell declined to have a second in her corner. Lot of short cuts from both ladies who do not like each other. Rayne's assistance backfired when she tripped up Sky instead of Terrell to unintentionally help her get the 1-2-3.
2. NWA United States Junior Heavyweight Elimination Title Match. Tony Charles over Bill Dundee for the US Junior Belt. Charles rollup into a bridge on Dundee in a fast pace match. Bill send his Memphis Mafia second back to the dressing room to prove he could heat Charles on his own. He didn't. Lots of exchanges early on with Charles finally getting Dundee on theh mat for a while. Bill tried a few dirty tricks but Tony kept his cool to win the belt.
3. NWA United States Tag Team Elimination Title Match. The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) beat The Infernos w/mgr. Col. JC Dykes, hitting a double dropkick on Inferno 2# into Inferno #1 to set up the pin to capture the US Tag Team Belts..(16::32). The Fantastics, who declined to have a second, battled the dirty tactics of the Infernos & their manager Col. J.C. Dykes. Dykes & the Infernos used a lot of double teaming on the highly popular Fantastics.
4. NWA United States Heavyweight Elimination Title Match. 'Cowboy' Bill Watts defeated Fritz Von Erich in a blood bath. for the United States Heavyweight Belt. (10:14). Watts won with the Oklahoma Stampede. Fritz attacked Bill as soon as the bell rang going immediately for the Iron Claw. They stumbled out of the ring & brawled, barely making the 10 count. The Cowboy got the advantage when Frits argued with the official & was forced to release the Claw. Watts banged Von Erich's head into the turnbuckles when he drew blood. Seconds later, Watts pinned Von Erich.
5. NWA World's Women's Elimination Title Match. Mschif over Cherry Bomb with the Desecrator. (13:56). Close match with the popular Cheery Bomb showing her heel side against the gothic green & black dressed Mcchif. A few near pins by both women near the end. Bomb hit Mschif with the best superkick ever but Mschif was too close to the ropes to force the break. Cherry Bomb tried to take the belt away from Mschif who spewed green mist in her face. The Canadian Ninjas came down to hep Bomb back to the dressing room.
6. NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Elimination Title Match. Danny Hodge edged Les Thornton in a scientific match where Danny got the 1-2-3 following an airplane spin then followed up with the Oklahoma cradle roll(18:34). Hodges match wrestling against the European style of Thornton. Lots of near pins & escapes from both men.
7. NWA World's Tag Team Elimination Title Match. Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Gene & Ole Anderson) over The Kentuckians ('Grizzly' Smith & 'Big' Luke Brown) to capture the World's Tag Team Belts .Lars Anderson was in his brother's corner while the Kentuckians said they didn't need one. The Kentuckians used their strength & size early on but the Andersons used their tag skills & dirty tricks to eventually take the win by submission with Ole Anderson injuring Luke Brown with the Anderson arm bar.(15:11). Medical personnel came down to assist Luke back to the dressing room.
8. NWA World's Heavyweight Elimination Title Match. Big Van Vader w/mgr. 'Playboy' Gary Hart beat Bob Backlund with a series of Vader Bombs. (9:11). Prematch challenge from Brody to the winner of the match. Hart tries to restrain Vader who wants to go after the Bruiser who accused Hart of paying off Barnett to get the match. Backlund, tied of Brody's triad, threw him out over the top rope just as the bell rang. (Brody made a quick retreat to the dressing room when Stan 'Lariat' Hansen came from out of the crowd). Vander took advantage of Bob's distraction & pounded on him for several minutes. Getting several 2 counts on Backlund. Bob mounted an offense but it didn't last too long as Vader hit several bombs to secure the win & World's Heavyweight Belt.
As the PPV closes, Gordon Solie, Bob Caudle & Commissioner Jim Barnett wrap the action before saying good night to the fans.
