The Rabbit Tribe defeated The Mexicools by pinfall. It was a surprising victory for the tripped out trio, who have generally not fared well in the win-loss column since their debut in the Temple. However, a bit of good luck came their way when Paul London moved out of the way of a Psicosis Senton and then Mala Suarte saved Saltador from receiving a Juvi-Driver. Together, the three of them served up two rounds of triple superkicks to knock Juventud Guerrera out of the match and then quickly triple-teamed Super Crazy, ending with London going Down The Rabbit Hole (shooting star press).

Famous B defeated Kurt Angle by pinfall. The loss means that Kurt Angle has lost his Olympic Gold Medals to Dario Cueto, who orchestrated the upset loss. Angle was out to punish Famous B for causing him to lose a string of matches this season. In case you didn’t know, Famous B wished to represent Angle, but failed to sell himself as a competent manager. This match was essential a comedy routine for a few minutes, with Famous B trying to bargain with Angle, and then doing everything he could to run away from Angle, but the Olympic Gold Medalist eventually caught up to him and made him pay with a few overhead belly-to-belly suplexes and then rolling German suplexes. Angle put him in the ankle lock. The Beautiful Brenda, Famous B’s assistant encouraged Famous B not to give up, but he hollered out in pain. He was on the verge of taping out when “The Monster” Matanza Cueto bodychecked Angle and then started to pummel him. Cueto directed his baby brother to stay on him. While Brenda checked on Famous B’s ankle, Matanza gave Cueto the Wrath of the Gods! As soon as Matanza left the ring, Famous B scrambled over to pin Angle. 1…2…3! Cueto collected the Olympic Gold Medals and then led his brother away from the ring.

The “Swiss Superman” Cesaro walks into Dario Cueto’s office, where we see Cueto admiring his new Olympic Gold Medals. El Jefe asks him to what he owes the pleasure, to which Cesaro responds that he saw the new flier announcing 32-luchador tournament is to be held to determine who will face the new Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, Braun Strowman, at Ultima Lucha Dos. Cueto asks Cesaro if he thinks this idea is exciting. Cesaro says he does and tells him that he came here to personally tell him that he wants a spot in the tournament because he wants to face the best competition in the world. Cueto says he cannot give him a spot, reminding him that he is barred from receiving a title shot this season, as per the stipulations of losing his match at the first Ultima Lucha. Cesaro tells him that stipulation barred him from competing for the Lucha Underground Championship, not the Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. To that, Cueto says he is right, so he tells him that he’ll give him a spot in the tournament. On his tournament bracket board he removes the name “Cheeseburger” and adds in “Cesaro.” Cueto says that the tournament begins next week and he had better be ready because he’s up against the man who beat him for the Lucha Underground Championship – Ultimo Dragon!

“Macho King” Randy Savage defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall in this highly anticipated rematch. Nakamura defeated Savage in their first bout, but Savage demanded a rematch, blaming his loss on a crooked referee. In this contest, Savage fought dirty to take control early, but Nakamura stormed back with a belly-to-back suplex off the ring apron. Nakamura made like Savage hadn’t done much damage to him, urging him to bring it, countering his attack with a flurry of stiff strikes. Savage tried to escape the onslaught by leaving the ring, but Nakamura stayed on him with a slingshot plancha. Outside the ring, Savage regained control with an eye rake before dropkicking Nakamura into the ring post. The battle kept the fans captivated. Savage was in control, but unable to put Nakamura away, so decided to bring an old familiar weapon into the mix – the ring bell. The referee entered into a tug of war with Savage over it, giving Nakamura a breather. That was a costly mistake for the “Macho King,” as Nakamura would take him down with a dragon suplex, and then get him in the corner for a series of kicks and knee strikes. After taking him out of the corner with an inverted exploder suplex, Nakamura set up for the Bomaye. He charged at Savage, but he rolled out of the way, then grabbed his royal sceptre from the corner of the ring and nailed Nakamura in the face with it. Nakamura was out on his feet and fell victim to a vertical suplex and then the Macho King’s diving elbow drop. 1…2…3!

Matanza Cueto defeated Brock Lesnar by pinfall to retain the Lucha Underground Championship. This was as brutal a brawl as we have ever seen in the Temple, with both “The Monster” and “The Beast Incarnate” laying into each other with wild abandon. Both combatants brawled all over the Temple. Lesnar gave Matanza a few German suplexes on the hardwood bleachers, while Matanza gave Lesnar an overhead belly-to-belly throw into a wall and an athletic-plex onto Matt Striker and Vampiro’s broadcast table (which didn’t break because it’s made of solid hardwood – there’s no give!). In the ring, Lesnar threatened to win the match with the F-5, but Matanza kicked out. Later, Matanza gave Lesnar a moonsault fallaway slam followed by a forward fireman’s carry slam. It was an incredible sight, but not enough to keep Lesnar down for the 3-count. Dario Cueto urged Matanza to finish him off, so he tried to give him the Wrath of the Gods, but Lesnar blocked it with multiple elbows to the side of the head. Then, he executed another F-5! 1…2… shoulder up! Neither Lesnar nor Paul Heyman could believe it. Dario shouted at Matanza to wake up and do to Lesnar what their mother had done to them, but there was no response. Heyman told Lesnar to give him another one, so Lesnar lifted him onto his shoulders.
And that’s when Lesnar turned around to see Samoa Joe charging at him! All three behemoths went down. Lesnar tried to square off with the Samoan Submission Machine, but Joe struck him with such intensity and speed that you would think he had turned the clock back 10-11 years. Joe got Lesnar stuck in the corner and gave him the CCS Enzuigiri kick, then lifted him onto the turnbuckle and executed the Muscle Buster! Joe finished his first appearance in the Temple since when Lesnar knocked him into a coma at Ultima Lucha, by staring Paul Heyman straight in the eye and saying, “If you’ve got a problem with that Paul E., tell your client to meet me in this ring at Ultima Lucha Dos!” Matanza picked up the scraps of what was left of Lesnar’s broken body and gave him the Wrath of the Gods, and then hooked his leg. 1…2…3!
