EPISODE 4
"M.O.T.H." Lio Rush vs. "The Hangman" Adam Page
Adam Page was very menacing here and tried to take apart Rush methodically. After using his size and power advantage early, Rush managed to find his openings and start making a comeback, getting the fans behind him! Page would try to use a Buckshot Lariat, only to have it countered with a Huracanrana by Rush, followed by the Rush Hour, earning "The Man of the Hour" a two count. Page would deliver a big Spinebuster to turn the tide back his way and then called for the end, trying to put up Rush for the Rite of Passage, but Rush escaped it, trying for a Sunset Flip, but Page blocked that. Page would grab Rush by the head and pull him to his feet, attempting a Short Arm Lariat, but Rush would duck it and deliver a Pele Kick, followed by a Corkscrew Kneeling Enzuigiri to Page, taking him down. Rush heads up top and delivers his Dragon's Call Frogsplash, and that's enough to put Page down for the three!
"Anti-Hero" Tommy End vs. "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese
Tony Nese is very confident in himself and has a very nice physique, but he just didn't have enough to get it done tonight against the imposing striking prowess of Tommy End. Nese would manage to hit some big shots, like a Running Knee in the corner and a Bridging German Suplex, but End was on another level and it was clear. End would deliver a Bicycle Knee Strike to an oncoming Nese out of the corner, followed by a Spinning Heel Kick and then he jumps on the staggered Nese's back and clinches him into the Anti Cross submission, taking him down and stretching him until he verbally submits to the referee! Very impressive showing for End here, who sits in the middle of the ring with his legs crossed, looking stoic and unamused.
"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin
Michael Elgin is powerful for his frame and very experienced, and he tried to use that to his advantage with Rhodes. Elgin would try to take him down and get into his head, slapping him to the back of the head and taunting him early, looking for an edge. Rhodes would show a lot of fire and got the fans behind him, using the Springboard Dropkick and a Bulldog from the second turnbuckle to get a close two count. Elgin would rake the eyes of Rhodes and send him to the outside, jawing to the booing fans afterwards. Elgin would continue to beat down Rhodes on the outside, spearing him into the guardrail before delivering a Powerbomb into the apron that hurt Rhodes in a bad way! Elgin would proceed to deliver a Lariat on the inside of the ring, attempting to get the win, but Rhodes would show his grit in kicking out. Elgin would whip Rhodes off the ropes from here but telegraphed his move by bending down, allowing Rhodes to drop down and catch him with the uppercut to the change the tides! Rhodes would hit a dropkick and motioned to the fans, getting them behind him as he went to the apron once more and springboarded in, catching Elgin with a Bionic Elbow variation! Elgin is reeling here as Rhodes comes in hot and hits a Splash in the corner before trying to run Elgin out of the buckles with a Bulldog, but Elgin pushes Cody and sends him chest first into the buckles before barreling in with a shoulder to his lower back! Elgin calls for the end, grabbing Rhodes and lifting him, looking for a Powerbomb into the corner, but Rhodes catches Elgin with three closed fists before floating over his head and landing on his feet behind him. Rhodes runs and leaps, springboarding off the middle rope and as Elgin turns, he gets caught with the Beautiful Disaster! Rhodes hooks the leg here tight and the fans are all in, as the referee counts to three and "The Grandson of a Plumber" gets a win!
"The Viper" Randy Orton vs. Tetsuya Naito
Two big personalities collided here, with both men having a penchant for using psychology and high impact to put their opponents down. The crowd was split here, as both men taunted them and tried to bring them into this match. Orton is a physical specimen, for sure, and used the size and strength advantage he had to put down Naito early, taking him down with a Fireman's Carry and trying to pin him down with a chinlock. Naito would manage to show his skills and escape, but Orton continually showed his mastery of the basic in taking Naito down, showing a wry smile as he took him down with multiple headlocks early in the contest. Naito would manage to escape a headlock attempt and deliver a low dropkick to set his strategy into motion, as minutes of grueling work on the leg followed for "The Viper", who seemed to be in a lot of pain. Naito would mercilessly wrench the leg and come down on it with stomps and elbows, causing Orton to desperately try to make it to the outside for some relief. Naito wouldn't give him much of that, however, as he grabbed the top rope and slung himself over with a Pescado to take down the third generation superstar! Naito would wave the fans in and pull them in before delivering chops to Orton, followed by getting up on the apron and then flying off with a Missile Dropkick straight to Orton's left leg, sending him down to the floor in a tailspin! Naito would then lift up Orton, folding the leg and then hoisting him up and ramming him into the turnpost knee first! Orton is in really bad shape now, and Naito is waving his hands, trying to pull the fans in as he smells victory in his future. Naito lifts Orton once more and tries to bring him into the ring, but Orton sends multiple elbows into the midsection of Naito before blasting him with a European uppercut! Orton gets up on the apron, but Naito leaps up and dropkicks him to the back of the leg, and Orton is hurting, holding the ropes as he sits on the apron in pain. Naito makes a slashing motion and then gets up on the apron, grabbing Orton from behind and maybe looking for a German Suplex off the apron, but Orton catches him with back elbows and then a low mule kick, desperation setting in now to escape anymore damage! Naito holds his lower region and Orton turns, grabbing him, and lifts and drops him hard on the apron with a T-Bone Suplex, sending Naito crashing to the floor in a nasty way as these fans cheer! Orton poses, throwing up his hands and taking in the audience before hobbling and grabbing Naito, sending him back into the ring. Randy slides in and "The Viper" is in position, poised to strike. Naito gets up and Orton tries to hop up and catch him with the RKO, but his leg is hurting and he's a step slow, allowing Naito to see it coming and shove him away, kicking him in the leg to stop his momentum before hammerlocking him and lifting him, dropping Orton with his Gloria slam! Naito hooks the injured leg, thinking he has it, but NO! Just a two count! Naito is sure Orton is near finished and taunts the fans once more, calling for the Destino! Naito rushes off the ropes as Orton hobbles up, but Orton shocks him, delivering a BEAUTIFUL Dropkick as he tries to approach Orton, showing the speed and prowess of the "Apex Predator"! Naito is shook and stumbles up off the ropes and Randy tries for the RKO once again, but Naito escapes AGAIN, shoving him off and delivering a Rolling Wheel Kick to stagger Orton! Naito once again runs off the ropes and this time he grabs Orton, trying to flip over him and drop him with the Destino, but ORTON BLOCKS IT MID-MOVE! He has Naito over his shoulder, and Naito is trying to fight it, but Orton is too strong! Orton tosses Naito up in the air and leaps up, grabbing his head and taking him down with a modified RKO! Lights out for Naito, as Orton pulls himself over and lays back on him and the referee counts to three! Great battle there, but the cunning of Randy Orton and the sheer skill cannot be ignored here tonight.
