EPISODE 2
*The show begins with Kenny Omega making his way out to a lot of fan fare. Omega says he's tired of hearing about all of these so-called stars in all of these supposedly great promotions, and he thinks it's time to change this business, and he's just the man to do it! He says he has been overlooked or dodged for opportunities, because the front offices of all of these big promotions are afraid of the change, and are afraid of him and what he will bring to the table. He says he is cleaning this business, and ridding it of the old ways, of the old standards, and he doesn't care what anybody thinks about it! Out comes his opponent for tonight, Will Ospreay, who says he is the catalyst of change and he's been showing that to the world. He says Omega talks a big game, but tonight, he gets taken out by the "Aerial Assassin"!*
Cedric Alexander vs. "The F'N Machine" Brian Cage
Brian Cage had a lot of size on Alexander, and made him pay early on, showing off his high impact moves and taunting the fans. Cage has a very impressive physique and looked to show that off, but Alexander has a great killer instinct and picked his openings well to get back into this match. After a few near falls in Alexander's favor, Cage would manage to catch Cedric coming off the ropes with a Discus Lariat, getting a two count! Cage would call for the end and put Alexander up on his shoulders, looking for his F'N-5, but Alexander reversed it into a Reverse STO! Alexander would get the crowd behind him, clapping his hands and calling for the end as Cedric rushed Cage in the corner and delivered a Dropkick, followed by a show of power from Alexander as he delivered his Lumbar Check, putting Cage down for the three count!
*Marty Scurll makes his way out to the ring and says tonight, he makes his name by making Jay Lethal suffer, and he doesn't care what anybody thinks about it! Jay Lethal makes his way out and makes fun of Scurll and his entire gimmick, before stating that tonight, the ringbell's gonna mean school's in session for "The Villain"!*
Jay Lethal vs. "The Villain" Marty Scurll
Scurll takes a beating from Lethal early, who has the crowd in the palm of his hands, hitting his Hip Toss into a Dropkick for a short two count. Scurll goes for the eyes and then lands some quick offense before punishing Lethal on the mat. Scurll takes Lethal to the outside and lays into him more, but Lethal manages to take back control and hits multiple suicide dives in succession before sending him back into the ring. Lethal catches a boot to the face from Scurll in the corner, who tries to deliver his Bird of Prey soon after, but Lethal slides off the back and delivers his Lethal Combination into the Koji Clutch dead center of the ring! Scurll taps out pretty quickly and Lethal looks very strong here in victory!
"The Show Off" Dolph Ziggler vs. ACH
This was a fun and athletic match, with Ziggler playing the cocky heel. Ziggler would take short cuts throughout and showed ACH no respect, but ACH would pull the crowd in with his fast and innovative offense, and even more so with his reversals, as the crowd were hoping he'd get the win. Ziggler would manage to avoid ACH's on coming offense in the corner, however, which hung up ACH on the middle turnbuckle and allowed Ziggler to deliver the ZigZag out of the corner, pinning ACH down for the three.
"The Cleaner" Kenny Omega vs. "The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay
Ospreay shows off some really flashy stuff early, landing big kicks and takedowns that send Omega for a whirl, but Omega shows why he's one of the best at the "go, go, go" style, keeping up and asking for more. Eventually Omega catches Ospreay slipping and counters an early attempt at a OsCutter with a lightning fast Release Dragon Suplex, followed quickly by the V-Trigger! Ospreay's head was nearly taken off with that and Omega stuns the crowd, pinning him and getting the win in just under 7 minutes! Omega just sent a major statement to the locker room tonight, but Ospreay sure packed a lot of fight into a short amount of time. He just got hit with something he couldn't get up from, courtesy of "The Cleaner".
