This week's episode of the NWA is highlighted by the history made at last Sunday night's Championship PPV from Atlanta, Ga. We join the announcing team of Les Thatcher, Joey Styles & Jesse 'the Body' Ventura to kick off today's show. The trio announce the championships decided last Sunday night, including some upsets along the way. NWA World's Heavyweight Champion is 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin who beat 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair. NWA World Tag Team Champs are The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Gene & Ole Anderson) of the Four Horsemen beat the Kentuckians ('Grizzly' Smith & 'Big' Luke Brown). Danny Hodge won the World's Junior Heavyweight Title with a disqualification win over Chris Benoit of the Triple Threat. Women's World's Champ Gail Kim dropped the title to Kana. United States Heavyweight Champ is 'the Original Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers who beat 'Handsome' Harley Race. The United States Tag Team Champs are the Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) who defeated the 'Original' Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose). For the United States Women's Title, MsChif beat Cherry Bomb. Eden Stiles does the interviews.
