Paige, Cortez Castro & Mr. Cisco defeated the team of Argenis, Lluvia & Zeuxis by pinfall. The losing team looked good early on and went on a stretch where they dominated Mr. Cisco. Argenis even looked like he might have the win in hand as he gave him a swanton bomb, but Cortez Castro broke up the pin, which brought all the luchadoras into the ring. A miscue by Lluvia resulted in her nailing Zeuxis with a springboard crossbody, which caused her to retaliate. That left Argenis open to a 3-on-1 attack that ended with Paige giving him the Ram-Paige DDT and pinning him for the win.

The match between Drago and Hector Garza ended in a no contest. It was Drago’s Lucha Underground in-ring debut, following him helping Fénix to keep his mask in his mask versus mask match against Psicosis last week. Drago impressed the Believers with an array of high-risk maneuvers and DDTs, including a springboard tornado DDT and a running blockbuster inside-out DDT. Hector Garza also took to the air, but preferred slams and powerbombs to DDTs. As could be expected, Perro Aguayo Jr. and Daga got involved, which in turn brough out Fénix and Aero Star, which in turn brought out La Parka, Juventud Guerrera, Super Crazy, and the now unmasked Psicosis, which in turn brought out Bad News Brown, Pentagon Jr., Rey Mysterio Jr. and Prince Puma. Eventually, the giant brawl dissipated with participants brawling away from the ring and/or being chased off.
It seemed like Garza might win as the last thing Aguayo did before being chased off by Mysterio was deliver a nasty low-blow from behind, then allowing Garza to execute a Mexican destroyer. After that, he went to the top rope and executed Tornillo, but an eagle-masked luchador carrying an American flag entered the ring and attacked Garza with a military press slam and then hit him with a diving shoulder block off the top rope. This patriotic luchador threw Garza out of the ring, and then helped Drago to his feet, only to then give him a bridging full-nelson suplex. He went outside, grabbed a chair and caved in the seat on top of Garza’s head. Then, he brought it into the ring and gave Drago a piledriver on it. He took a microphone and gave a speech in which he announced that he is The Patriot and he is here on a mission. Furthermore, he said that he has come to kick out the drug dealers, criminals and rapists running the Temple and to take it back in the name of the United States of America. Then, he symbolically affixed his flag stick to the turnbuckle post as if planting a flag and claiming the ring for the USA!

The Miz defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall to retain the Gift of the Gods. The way the opening 5 minutes of the match played out, it seemed as though Nakamura was poised to take the Gift of the Gods from The Miz. However, when Nakamura hit The Miz with a jumping knee strike along the ropes, The Miz tumbled out to the floor and then took control of the match by raking Nakamura’s eyes and then slamming his head into the turnbuckle post. The Miz worked over Nakamura for the next several minutes and attempted to force him to submit with a figure four leglock, but Nakamura reversed the pressure, requiring The Miz to grab the ropes. Nakamura mounted a comeback, culminating with a running knee strike in the corner and an inverted exploder suplex out of the corner. While lining up The Miz for the Bomaye, Nakamura who stood in the corner, was struck on the ankle by “Classy” Freddie Blassie’s cane. He screamed out and gingered danced around for a moment before turning to find his assailant on the outside. Blassie made like he was innocent. The distraction worked to enable The Miz to give Nakamura the Skull-Crushing Finale, but Nakamura kicked out, much to everyone’s surprise. As a result, The Miz went into his little bag of tricks to strike Nakamura with a running single leg high knee and then pinned him for the win.

“Macho King” Randy Savage defeated Cesaro by pinfall in this Falls Count Anywhere match to earn a spot in next week’s Aztec Warfare match. Savage and Cesaro put on one hell of a match both inside and out of the ring. There were many near falls registered by both the “Macho King” and the “King of Swing.” For instance, it looked like Cesaro might have had the match won with a Very European uppercut, but Savage kicked out at the last possible split second. Later, it looked like Savage might have had the match won when Cesaro attempted a diving European uppercut only to have Savage turn it into a diamond cutter. Cesaro was able to get a shoulder up. Later still, Cesaro appeared to put Savage away with superplex in from the ring apron through a pair of open steel chairs. About 90 seconds later, Savage ave Cesaro a piledriver onto a chair and pinned him for what appeared to be a certain victory, but the “Swiss Superman” shouldered out of it.
The match would leave ringside and the participants fought tooth and nail throughout the Temple, including on the hardwood bleachers, where Savage gave Cesaro a vertical suplex and pinned him to try to win, and Cesaro gave Savage a gutwrench suplex and pinned him to try to win. They fought up on the mezzanine, back down the stairs, and even crashed through the door of the side office, currently occupied by LWO leader Alberto El Patron A ladder was brought out from under the ring, and Savage leaned it against the office wall and catapulted Cesaro into it. However, it was Savage who took the biggest bump off it, when Cesaro took him onto the ring apron and dropped him onto it with the Neutralizer! Even so, Savage got a shoulder up. This prompted Cesaro to bring out the tables and open then up side-by-side. Some more brawling ensued. Savage, who was busted open following the Neutralizer on the ladder, busted Cesaro open with a swing of his royal sceptre that connected with his skull. That was the final blow to knock Cesaro out. After that, Savage placed him on the tables, climbed to the top of the ladder and executed his diving elbow drop. In the pile of broke table shards, Savage draped one arm across Cesaro’s chest to get the 3-count.

Somewhere hundreds of miles away, a camera pans in on what appears to be an abandoned warehouse. The screams of tortured souls can be heard coming from inside. We see the Temple’s concessions employee scrapping his grill from behind Dario Cueto’s shoulder. Cueto looks down to his chest and then grabs a large key on a rope that he is wearing around his neck. He gives it a long look. The screams emanating from inside the warehouse behind them have stopped. Cueto appears to be deep in thought. He turns to the concessions employee and refers to him as Cheeseburger. He tells him to turn off the grill because they are leaving. The concessions employee asks if they are finally going home. Cueto says, “Yes.” His brother is ready, so they are “going back to Boyle Heights to take back my Temple!” Then, he puts the key in the warehouse door, unlocks it, and opens. He calls out to his brother to come out. Cueto holds the key in his hand out in front in him, and out from the dark shadows he comes.
