"ALL OUT WAR"
Out to the ring comes CM Punk with a microphone to mostly boos from this Philly crowd. Punk says he has been bombarded all week with questions, WHY DID HE GET HIMSELF DISQUALIFIED!? WHY DID HE RUIN THE MAIN EVENT!? Punk says it is very simple. He says he doesn't respect Cody Rhodes or this company, flat out, and he's not jumping through hoops for anybody. He says Jason Black makes some stupid belt and expects CM Punk to be impressed? He expects him to give it his all to try to become what? Champion of this place? It doesn't matter. Embarrassing Cody Rhodes, though, that was worth it, and he will do it again, and he will show everybody just how inferior they are in HPW. He tells the locker room to listen, and listen good, because his name is CM Punk, he is the straight edge messiah, he is the voice of the voiceless, the best in this business, and you better believe he is better than YOU! Punk drops the mic and heads out, more boos coming his way.
"The Star Destroyer" Biff Busick vs. "The Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson
Dickinson plays mind games as the heel here, trying to get into amp'd up Busick's head throughout. Busick gives Dickinson a heck of a fight with his nonstop, hard hitting barrage, but Dickinson manages to manages to take advantage of his overzealous nature and rolls him up for a three count.
Dickinson grabs a microphone and says he ain't impressed with anybody, and he doesn't care that he's jerkin' the curtain tonight, because one way or another, he's going to make his name known in this fucking locker room!
LuFisto vs. Kimber Lee
LuFisto wins a strong style showdown here, hitting the Burning Hammer to put away the spirited Lee for the pinfall to advance to the semi-finals of the Women's title tournament.
"The Artist" Alex Shelley vs. "Speedball" Mike Bailey
Shelley would come out with his camera, setting it up to record what he hopes to be a "masterpiece" here tonight. Bailey is fast with his karate offense and dare devil antics, but Shelley is very fast as well and very smart. Shelley and Bailey would put on a great, quick match here, which saw Shelley use a lot of creative counters and takedowns, followed by a lot of heelish posturing and grandstanding to get Bailey over as the underdog face. In the end, Bailey would actually shock everyone, reversing a roll up of Shelley into a pinning combination to get the win!
After the match, Shelley would attack Bailey and plant him with the ShellShock before stomping him into the mat a few more times. Shelley brushes off his shoulder, regains his composure and packs up his tripod and camera, leaving to boos but looking satisfied with himself.
Tyson Kidd vs. Roderick Strong
Fast, short match here between two very seasoned stars. Strong bad mouths Kidd throughout, showing him very little respect, but Kidd earns the respect of the fans with his great counter wrestling and technical skills. Strong thinks he might have the win as he looks for a Fireman's Carry Gutbuster, but Kidd reverses into a Small Package, showing technical brilliance here to get the three count!
Kidd escapes from the ring, looking very pleased as the fans give him a good response and Strong looks livid in the ring.
Allison Danger vs. "The Female Terminator" Cheerleader Melissa
This was a true game of human chess, as Danger tried to ground the powerful Melissa, but Melissa just bested her and managed to employ her high impact offense. Melissa would deliver the Air Raid Crash to finish off Danger and advance to the semi-finals of the Women's title tournament.
"The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger vs. Super Dragon vs. "The Notorious 187" Homicide vs. Spanky
This was a wild contest that went all over ringside, as one might expect. Homicide and Younger had some very spirited exchanges, which saw Homicide try to smash Younger's throat with a chair, and Drake would later hit a T-Bone Suplex to Homicide into the guardrail to devastating effect. The underdog here had to be Spanky, given the hard hitting, bad ass nature of everyone else involved. Super Dragon would try to end Spanky in a bad way to win this match, looking for his Psycho Driver, but Spanky would land on his feet and delivered a Huracanrana, rolling up Dragon managing to get the three count to steal the win here in a flash! The fans were behind Spanky getting the win here, as the silent Dragon looked down the ramp at him like he might murder him.
Younger and Homicide would continue to brawl through the crowd and to the backstage area, apparently unconcerned with the match having actually finished. It would appear these two will have more to settle later.
Before the next match, Drew Gulak would make his way out with a microphone. Gulak would say he is disgusted with the main event tonight, as it a match for stunt men, not true wrestlers like himself. He says that tonight, he will show everyone how a true wrestler carries himself, with dignity and respect for the pure sport of wrestling! Out to the ramp comes Tommy End with a microphone. End says that Gulak is a deluded fool who is so boring the only trait of his personality he can grasp on to is that he is "wrestler". How pathetic. End says these people don't want to hear him talk and neither does Tommy End. He says they came to be entertained, and what they want to is for Tommy End to kick in Drew Gulak's face... and he will give it to them. End throws the mic to the side and removes his vest, looking to go make good on that statement.
Drew Gulak vs. "The Anti-Hero" Tommy End
This was an absolutely great match, and for many, it overshadowed the main event. Gulak would go after the leg relentlessly of End, knowing full well what End was planning to do if he would use his legs. End would show his mat skills and manage to fight off Gulak before blasting him with nasty strikes, followed by moves like the Springboard Double Knee that nearly put Gulak away. Gulak would eat a Brainbuster, but was only kept down for a two count. End would try for his Double Stomp finisher, but Gulak would evade it and hit a Leg Twist, taking End down to the mat and locking on his Trailblazer finisher, but End would make it to the ropes. Gulak would pound End with chops and European uppercuts before trying for his Spine Splitter, but End would flip over it and catch Gulak with a High Knee to the jaw, followed by a Running High Kick to take Gulak to a knee, before finally Spin Kicking him to the head! End would then head up top and come off with the Owari Death Stomp, crushing Gulak for the three count after a brutal contest.
HPW No Limits Champion
Triple Threat Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match
Trevor Lee vs. Sabu vs. Edge
You can't think of TLC matches and not have Edge come to mind, and he made his mark in this one. Whether it was springboarding in to Spear Sabu off the ladder or catching Trevor Lee with a Downward Spiral off the apron onto an unfolded chairs to break it in half, Edge really came to get the gold in this one. Sabu is also a man known for his versatility and showed it off in a big way, using one of the smaller ladders by putting it behind his legs and flipping off the apron to crush Edge with a modified Rolling Legdrop. Trevor Lee has massive spirit, though, and would catch Sabu at one point trying to dive off the top turnbuckle onto Edge on the outside with a German Suplex through a table on the inside! Lee would also use a Springboard Dropkick to Edge's side as Edge and Sabu were fighting on the ladder while Edge had Sabu in a front facelock, knocking Edge from the ladder and causing him to hit Sabu with a high impact DDT, sending both men through a table! Trevor Lee would take advantge, climbing the ladder as they were down in the wreckage to retrieve the title and become a very unlikely first HPW No Limits champion!
With two much more famous men in the match, Lee seemed like quite the dark horse to win this one, but he showed a lot of grit and toughness and the fans seemed to really applaud him and accept him here as he celebrated with his title, standing tall after what was a truly grueling contest.
