"City of Champions" Prelims! LIVE on your local Television affiliate! -- Show run down / commentator hype package & intro / cut 2 commercials --____________________________________________________________________________ The Ascension (w/ Brother Love) def. "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble / Masshole Mike McCarthy / "Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty [Impromptu BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Bout]Incendiary opening sermon from Brother Love drives "Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty from his spot at the commentary table into the ring, where he is backed up by his "boys from da Bean" in an impromptu 6-Man skirmish. But Ascension makes quick work of the rag-tag Beantown trio en route to another dominating victory. "Just because I LOOOOOVVVEE YEEWW, doesn't mean I like you!" -- cut 2 commercial --Apollo Crews (2017) def. "Hacksaw" Butch Reed (1984) (via DQ)[Heavyweight Grudge Match]These two ex-BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champions went to war early & hard in this Heavyweight slugfest. When Apollo began using his superiority speed and dexterity (along with a newly-aquired meansteak he picked up from his ex-tag team partners), Butch Reed got desperate. "Hacksaw" Butch Reed clobbered Apollo Crews with a coal miners glove (of all things) to earn the disqualification. But even more heinously - Butch Reed suddenly procured a can of yellow paint, and proceeded to POUR A HUGE YELLOW STREAK down unconscious Apollo Crews' backside! -- cut 2 commercial --Rick Martel (1986) def. Antonio "Promise" Thomas (2006) [Middleweight Revenge Match]From the Heavyweight slugfest above, to the science of the Middleweight division here, both contested with equal ferocity. Martel & Thomas were once ex-partners in BCCW-cannon too, until they were destroyed and driven apart. Martel saw the light and reformed his character (reverting to his Championship-winning vintage AWA persona), while Promise Thomas became the deranged lunatic (think "Dashing" Cody Rhodes turns "Disfigured" in WWE circa 2011-ish). They match up tonight in an intense grudge match. In the end, young BCCW rookie Matthew Riddle (protege to Rick Martel) gets his revenge on Promise Thomas by running in to stop Thomas from using a foreign object! This actions allows Riddle's mentor Rick Martel to squeeze out a submission with a "Boston Crab!" The Canadian fans love Rick Martel tonight, and in victory he is able to give a bit of rub to the up-and-coming Matt Riddle! -- cut 2 commercial --$asha Banks (2017) def. Shayna Baszler (2018) [Woman's Bout]Another grudge match sometime in the making. $asha Banks turned egotistical Heel on Woman's wrestling legend Mildred Burke, before taking her OUT with a series of vicious chair shots. This vile act summoned forth Mildred Burke's own protege Shayna Baszler to BCCW where she attempts to get her revenge tonight. Fiery match between the two, and impressive big-match debut for Shayna Baszler. Fresh off finishing up her MMA career in Feb 2017, Shayna displays incredible submission skills tonight. Unfortunately, $asha shows her guile by reversing an airtight triangle-lock from Shayna into a pinning combination! $asha Banks wins by pinfall, but if this were an MMA-bout she would have been finished! Postmatch, $asha Banks hits a sneak attack and looks like she will end Shayna's young career with another chair-shot volley... When $asha is cut off by the run-in of her ex-bestie Alexxis Nevaeh! This action immediately segues into our next encounter... Oh my! The feud between ex-Tag Team partners Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards continues to escalate in BCCW - now including their own wives as well! Eddie tweaked his knee during his last PPV bout with Richards (see Fallout Festival 2017), as "Lone Wolf" Davey Richards and his wife are attempting to end his career! This feud is far from over!!-- cut 2 commercial --** BCCW Flyweight Championship **Finn Balor (2016) © def. Kerwin White (2006)Our Prelims Main Event tonight is an exciting spotfest that highlights everything the WCW Cruiserweight division used to be, and everything the new WWE 205 Live project wants to be. From the top rope to the arena floor, these two competitors put on a fantastic bout that has even the most-jaded hardcore fan chanting "THIS IS AWESOME!" and "BCCW!" But the real brilliance lay in the story they tell; of two warriors fighting for the moon but landing in the stars. Finn Balor has the unmistakable support of the fans, so Kerwin White quickly adapts to become a sniveling Heel who whines, complains and expects favoritism. In the end, one "Coup de Grâce" from Balor puts Mr. White down for the kill. The Mash-Up Wrestling universe clearly heralds Finn Balor as one of the best pound-for-pound wrestlers of all-time, regardless of weight class. Time to let the Balor Club rise to its full potential. Winner (and *STILL* Flyweight Champion): FINN BALOR!!** BUY THE MUTHAPHUCKKIN PPV! ** [Fade Out]

Broken City Championship Wrestling presents..."City of Champions"** BCCW has 6 recognized championships ** Heavyweight (225 lbs +) Middleweight (205 lbs +) Flyweight (under 200 lbs) Television title (catch weight) 6-Man Tag Team titles Woman's Championship** BCCW recognizes the Undisputed WORLD Championship as governed by the Mash-Up Wrestling Board of Trustees ** ** All matches sanctioned by Mash-Up Wrestling. ** ** THIS IS BCCW!! **** RINGSIDE COMMENTARY TEAM **Gordon Solie & MSD Commissioner Foley & Backstage Correspondent / Postfight Analyst: Renee Young!Once upon a time in Mash-Up Wrestling, a great provincial war raged for control of the Northern most territories. From Vancouver to Calgary, the Great White regions bore fruit from these struggles that turned into a goldmine. This history of Canadian wrestling came together under the fabled banner of "AGPW", which in turn became a cornerstone of this very universe. Some of the greatest matches, moments and events took place in Canada.
Now these giant Canadian arenas remain silent. AGPW packed up and shunted away. Repackaged into an unrecognizable entity in a now far-away land. The titan of the North is no more, and in its place remains only one major entity... Broken City Championship Wrestling! The once-hated Yankee org has overtaken territorial booking duties since the dissolution of AGPW. But the war for the hearts and minds of Canadian fans will never cease!
Tonight! BCCW takes over Canada, turning into a true "City of Champions!" This is our annual All-Gold Everything party! The one night per year when ALL the most important championships in BCCW are defended! All weight classes represented! Plus the undisputed Woman's Championship returns to Canadian soil! But our most important title match occurs when Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD Champion, Brock Lesnar defends against Kevin FN Owens, leader of the dastardly Canadian Outlaws! All Hell breaks loose in Canada tonight! Stay tuned!** CUT 2 Video Intro / Pyro / Screaming fans!! **____________________________________________________________________________HBK / Diesel / AJ Styles def. Beat Down Clan w/ MVP [BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Bout]More inflammatory rhetoric from the mouthpiece of BDC (and ex-BCCW Commissioner, MVP) that draws out HBK & Big Daddy Cool for the retort. Arguably loudest pop of the night happens when HBK introduces their Tag Team partner for the evening... former-2x Television Champion AJ STYLES (2017!) Great opening PPV segment that gives everybody a little time to shine, before the heroes swoop in for the win - Diesel runs through MVP & Hernandez; clearing the ring and HBK superkicks Kenny King right into a "Styles Clash" from AJ Styles for the pin! BDC are still some of the baddest bullies on the block - but tonight they happened to run into a clique with a lot more momentum! Winners: HBK / Diesel / AJ Styles-- cut 2 video package --** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE ** Commissioner Foley exchanges some harsh words with current BCCW MW champion Seth Rollins - reaffirming the storyline belief that now-exiled GM Shane McMahon was responsible for Seth's invasion of BCCW to begin with. Seth Rollins admits there is McMahon involvement, but cryptically alludes to Commissioner Foley asking the wrong one to resign... But nevermind that! Because Seth Rollins is about to defend his MW title against the man called STING! NEXT!** cut 2 ring ** ____________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Middleweight Championship **
Seth Rollins (2016) © vs. Sting (1992)Fans went rabid for vintage Sting tonight, who is a certified Mash-Up Wrestling Hall of Famer. His opponent tonight is the diabolical Seth Rollins; a rare dual-titliest once upon a time in BCCW and "Fallout Festival 2017" Battle Royal winner. Everything was on the side of the Stinger tonight as he battled Seth from pillar to post. Seth, clearly overwhelmed, even tried grabbing his title and taking a count-out victory - but Commissioner Mick Foley appeared to demand Seth return to the ring or risk forfeiting his title! Eventually Sting runs through his plethora of signature finishers and reverses a desperate flying knee-attempt from Rollins into a small package pin! 1! 2! 3! Sting wins! Sting wins! Sting wins! B-b-b-b-but WAIT! Now Stephanie McMahon is here to contest the decision, and uses video-replay to show that Seth Rollins right shoulder was (slightly) up during the pinfall! Therefore the decision is NULLIFIED and this BCCW referee is FIRED! Huge boos from the fans for that screw job finish, but judging from the huge smile on Stephanie's face, she is loving every minute of it!WINNER: None (no contest)** But STILL your BCCW Middleweight Champion: SETH ROLLINS!! **-- cut to replay, indignant commentator reaction and video promo --** cut 2 ring ** ____________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Television Title **
Roman Reigns (2017) © vs. EC3 (2017)Another contemporary Dream Match brought to you under the BCCW banner. WWE vs GFW (formerly Impact Wrestling). Reigns is reigning BCCW Television champion who hates the company (it's small potatoes to him) and harbors a death wish for WORLD Champion Brock Lesnar. EC3 is the sarcastic anti-hero who was humbled enough by the fall of his previous stable and huge investment loss in the failed relaunch of TNA in Mash-Up Wrestling, that he regained the favor of the fans. Match is hard-hitting and hotly contested, with the fans riding Heel Roman Reigns hard. Reigns is so frazzled by the reaction, that at one point he has a near-meltdown and flips off the crowd! Match nearly goes to a time limit draw as neither man can keep the other down. Reigns even teases taking out a countout loss instead of continuing the match, but EC3 won't let him. EC3 battles on his shield right up until the waning moments, just like OKC vs Warriors in the 2016 NBA Western Conference Finals. But just like that ill-fated series, EC3 gives up the ghost in the end. Call it suspicious home town officiating, or a straight-up fast count if you have to - but Reigns pulls out the win in the 4th quarter with a Superman Punch to the jaw 1-2-3. After giving it everything he had in this match, it still wasn't enough for EC3. He leaves with his head hanging in disgust as ungrateful Roman Reigns is proud reciepenent of yet another title defense. What will it take to break through the upper echelon in BCCW for Ethan Carter 3rd? Winner (and *STILL* Television Champion): ROMAN REIGNS-- cut to video recap & commentator summary -- ** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
BCCW roving reporter Renee Young finally catches up with Stephanie McMahon - everybody is buzzing about the rumors that the Mash-Up Wrestling committee has come to a decision regarding BCCW's probation and now-vacant GM position! Does Stephanie have any news to break?? Stephanie only smiles and says the party is just beginning in Canada tonight! Stay tuned!! -- cut 2 ring -- ____________________________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **
Beer Money Intl © vs. American AlphaBattle between two extremes of the United States policy systems takes place in Canada tonight. A long-standing grudge match between two teams who stand on polar-opposite sides of the political spectrum, yet claim the same country. Either way Canada isn't impressed, though they do pop quite a bit for American Alpha's synchronized suplexes. In the end, the entire bout gets thrown out when Killer Karl Krupp, Acadian Giant and Leo Burke - the Canadian Outlaws!! - storm the ring and attack both teams! Despite the screwy non-finish, this crazy Canadian fanbase is cheering louder now than all match! A wicked series of chair shots lays out all men, culminating in a HUGE triple-powerbomb to JBL *through* a table set up in the ring! Despite being "banned" from the card, the Outlaws still made their presence felt! O Canada indeed!!! -- cut backstage --____________________________________________________________________________"Sins of the Son"Cameras catch an irate Commissioner Foley hunting for Stephanie McMahon and then storming into her office! Commissioner Foley blames Stephanie for the loop hole that allowed the Canadian Outlaws to interfere and ruin another title match!! Foley also challenges her decision to award the Middleweight title match a no-contest, blatantly screwing Sting and protecting Seth Rollins! An intense standoff ensues between the two, before Stephanie intercedes with one final announcement - the Mash-Up Wrestling committee has concluded their probationary review of BCCW, and the results are in! But Stephanie can't reveal them tonight; not on foreign soil. Instead, Commissioner Mick Foley and the world will find out the fate of BCCW when we return to the States next TV Episode! Either way, it doesn't look good! Impending doom is upon us all!! After Commissioner Foley leaves her office in a huff, Stephanie smirks grimly - picks up her cell phone to make a call - and dials Dario Cueto; propieter of Lucha Underground, and a key member of the Mash-Up Wrestling committee! What does Stephanie have to say?? What is the verdict? What is the relationship between Cueto and Stephanie?? And will we ever see Shane in BCCW again??? Stay tuned to find out!!!
-- cut 2 ring -- ____________________________________________________________________________Bray Wyatt (2015) vs. Undertaker (2015) [Heavyweight Bout]Winner: UNDERTAKER-- cut to video package --____________________________________________________________________________** Woman's Championship **
Awesome Kong (2010) © vs. Nikki Bella (2016)Speak of the Devil... From the depths of Dario Cueta's "Temple" of Lucha Underground comes the greatest force in Mash-Up Wrestling Woman's history - 5x Champion AWESOME KONG! Long time BCCW fans still remember her prior rampage through the league. Her familiar rival Nikki Bella rears her head again tonight at "City of Champions", but this time Nikki is riding a new wave of momentum. Her triumph alongside John Cena at BCCW "My Bloody Valentine 2017" led to their engagement, and a new career hot streak. Now Nikki looks to topple the goliath Kong one last time, but Nikki's going to have to do it without her twin sister Brie (who is still home recuperating from an unseen mystery attack a few weeks prior). Unfortunately for Nikki, the match quickly takes on a David vs. Goliath undertone. While commentators wax philosophical about the undisputed Woman's championship once again being defended on Canadian soil, Awesome Kong wipes the mat with a game Nikki. Competitive squash until Kong mercifully finishes with an "Awesome Bomb" for the pin. Postmatch angle involves a run-in from MICKIE JAMES (2005), Nikki's "BFF", who literally throws herself into harms way to protect Nikki from another "Awesome Bomb". Instead, Kong winds up laying out BOTH women (stacked on top of each other like Pringles chips) to end the segment. Who can end Kong's latest - and perhaps MOST DOMINANT - title run yet!?!? Winner (and *STILL* Woman's Champion): AWESOME KONG-- cut to video recap & commentator summary / Dueling Championship promos from Superstar & Cena -- ____________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Heavyweight Championship **
"Superstar" Billy Graham (1977) © vs. John Cena (2017) [Grudge Match]Huge history-making rematch between these two in a continuation of a feud that has raged through the BCCW Heavyweight division in 2017 (ethereal calendar year). Superstar Graham's prior stint in AGPW (including a run with the AGPW title and formation of his infamous "Californication" stable) leads to scattered cheers for him tonight. But the focus remains on Cena and his pursuit of an unprecedented 8th BCCW HW Championship. Crowd heat is off the charts from the start, for what amounts to a basic powerman back-n-forth strength-fest. Bearhugs, exaggerated tests of strength and running shoulder tackles abound. Cena busts his head open on a steel-post shot at ringside, bringing a bit of 1970's gore to our affair tonight. Superstar works the cut for most of the bout. Match closes out with Cena going for the AA, but Graham counters with a lowblow into a roll-up with his feet on the ropes (throwback to the way he won his first WWWF title from Bruno in 1977). But (perhaps unsurprisingly) Cena muscles out, and snaps on an STFU instead! Even with Graham screaming & contorting in pain, Superstar finally makes it to the ropes and forces a break. Referee tries to back Cena off a weary Graham, but a slugfest begins and Cena drops Graham - but *misses* his dramatic top-rope legdrop attempt! Graham tries to snatch Cena in an over-the-shoulder backgreaker, but Cena reverses THAT into an FUAA! This time Graham can't escape and he gets SPIKED in the center of the ring with an FUAA from Cena! 1! 2! KICKOUT! A still-bloody and dazed Cena can't believe it! Now Cena sets Graham up near the turnbuckles, but a thumb to the eye from Superstar swings the momentum - and both men wind up battling on the turnbuckle for a top-rope superplex! With the crowd egging them on, both men jostle for position - until Cena finds the strength and willpower to hoist Graham onto his shoulders - and DRIVE him into the mat with a huge top-rope FUAA! Crowd senses the historic moment and counts along with the referees pinfall! 1! 2! 3! CENA HAS DONE IT! John Cena has regained the BCCW Heavyweight Championship for an historic *EIGHTH TIME!!* Winner (and *NEW* BCCW Heavyweight Champion): JOHN CENA!! ____________________________________________________________________________** WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP **
Brock Lesnar (2017) © vs. Kevin FN Owens (2017) [Heavyweight Bout]After all the hype and patriotic fervor leading up to this bout, the entire Mash-Up Wrestling world is frothing with anticipation. Bout takes on a real "World Series" feel as each man reps their country in their own unique ways. Heyman tries rattling off another long-winded intro for his client, but KO says "f that" and jumps Brock to start the bout! Non-stop action from there, as the bout spills out to ringside and back. The bell hasn't even rung yet! Very quickly, KO winds up putting Brock *THROUGH* the Spanish Announce table in a genuine "HOLY SHIT!" moment! Heyman rallies Brock as the Beast slowly makes his way backinto the ring. Finally the bell rings, and Kevin FN Owens bullrushes Lesnar; pounding him with strikes & knees! Brock tries to fight back but KO is absolutely swarming him! KO looks for a pop-up, but Brock fires back with knees to the midsection. KO uses headbutts to display his desperation, but Lesnar catches him with a release German Suplex. They battle into the ropes and KO hits Lesnar with a lowblow! Brock misses an angry charge, but reverses KO and hits another German suplex! Uh oh, Brock has that look in his eyes! 1! 2! 3! 4! FIVE release German suplexs in a row from Brock to KO! Suplex City! On the 6th attempt, KO reverses into a sleeper hold! Crowd gasps as Lesnar drops to a knee - but suddenly - BAM! F5-reversal from Lesnar out of nowhere! KO is out! 1! 2! 3! Brock Lesnar retains the title, but in arguably one of his toughest fights ever! Winner (and *STILL* World Champion): BROCK LESNAR-- cut to review & recap - commentator outro and credits --[FADE OUT] ____________________________________________________________________________

I waited a long time for this show. It didn't disappoint as we had Rick Martel win in the pre-show, Sting vs. Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker, "Superstar" Billy Graham vs. John Cena, and Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin F'N Owens. That's a stacked card. Stephanie McMahon screwing over Sting and the hot arrival and destruction of the 6-man tag team champions by the Canadian Outlaws were victories on the heel side. So too was Brock Lesnar's win in the main event. Yes, Owens is a heel, but in front of this crowd, he was the biggest face in the company. However, Lesnar being who he is, it was a long shot for him to become the new Mash-Up World Champion. Finally, congratulations to John Cena for winning an unprecedented 8th Heavyweight Championship. I'm interested to see what fresh opponents there will be for him in the future (that is also in the past).
