Vader, Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard defeated Baron Corbin, Bad News Brown & Dean Ambrose by pinfall to become the new Lucha Underground Trios Champions. That the Heenan Family won the Trios Championships was a big surprise considering that it was not even scheduled to compete. Tonight’s challengers were supposed to be La Parka, Pentagon Jr. & Psicosis. However, after they came to the ring, and before the Champions came out, the Heenan Family showed up unannounced and started a brawl with the challengers. One-by-one, La Parka, Pentagon Jr. and Psiscosis were rendered unable to compete after getting put through tables. Bobby Heenan grabbed a mic and announced that because they couldn’t compete, Vader, Anderson and Blanchard were prepared to take their place.
At this point, Dario Cueto came out of his office and said that he was so impressed with the Heenan Family’s determination to become Trios Champions that he was making them the new challengers in tonight’s title match. When the match finally happened, the Heenan Family proved that they were a cohesive, finely tuned and highly effective trios team. Corbin, Brown, and Ambrose, on the other hand, were anything but. Their title reign, which was always teetering on the edge of self-destruction, finally did just that. Corbin and Ambrose got into a shouting match and then came to blows. Brown tried to put a stop to the in-fighting, but was shoved aside, leading to him blasting the both of them with Ghetto Blasters and then abandoning them. Ambrose was given a spike piledriver by Anderson and Blanchard, while Corbin received the Vader Bomb and was pinned for the win.

Samoa Joe is working over a punching bad with his hands and feet when the King of Cuteville walks in, all the while looking at himself in his phone, which is attached to his selfie stick. While keeping his gaze fixed on himself, he insults Joe for being ugly, claims that Joe only won Aztec Warfare because the Definition of Delish had his ticket to participate in the match stolen from him (by Eddie Guerrero), and challenges him to a match next week, where if Breeze wins, he gets to wrestle for the Mash-Up World Championship at Ultima Lucha. Samoa Joe thinks that Breeze has lost his mind, but agrees to do it because he thinks it’ll be fun to teach Breeze that the Samoan Submission Machine is way out of Breeze’s league.

Bayley defeated Cameron by pinfall. Bayley made her long awaited return to action after a long hiatus because of injuries suffered at the hands of Awesome Kong. The fans were happy to see her. She didn’t disappoint. While remaining a lovable and likeable, she still managed to show a grittier edge to her, and she seemed more focused than ever before after the bell rang to start the match. The match went a little over four minutes, with Bayley hitting a series of signature moves on her way to winning the match after executing the Belly-to-Bayley suplex.
After the match, Bayley grabbed a microphone and delivered a message to Awesome Kong: you may have broken her bones, but you didn’t break her spirit. And now, Bayley believes in herself more than ever. She’s coming after Awesome Kong and she’s going to make her pay in the best way she knows how – by taking the Luchadoras Championship from her.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated “Darewolf” PJ Black by pinfall to earn the second of the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions. Black was kept off of his game early on, but struck Nakamura with a rope-assisted enzuigiri kick and a springboard dropkick to the back to take control. After Black hit a corkscrew plancha to the floor, he rolled Nakamura into the ring and climbed the turnbuckle to go for a 450-degree splash. Nakamura moved out of the way and mounted a comeback. A few minutes later, Nakamura gave Black some running knee strikes as he was draped over the ropes in the corner, then gave him an inverted exploder suplex and the Bomaye to get the win.

Dario Cueto is seen walking out of what appears to be an emergency exit into a back alley. He comes upon a scene where there is a loud crowd assembled. Big Ryck is at the centre of it all and he’s collecting a pile of cash. He walks out of the circle and sees Cueto, so he comes over to talk to him. Cueto tells him that he shouldn’t look so happy after Son of Havoc made him and The Crew looks like chumps. Ryck get cross at Cueto, who senses that he might not be as safe as he thought he was. Cueto back peddles his statement and tells Ryck that he and The Crew need to be ready for a 3-on-1 handicap match against Son of Havoc, next week. Ryck says he will, then Cueto walks away. As he does, Ryck turns back towards the circle and orders the event back on. Castro Cortez and Mr. Cisco are clearly seen carrying a couple of crates with roosters in them into the centre of the circle. The camera pans away as we hear the shrill calls of the rooster echo through the back alley.

Cesaro defeated Chris Jericho by pinfall to retain the Lucha Underground Championship. This was an excellent match that went back and forth. Both wrestlers had to take high risks, with Jericho executing a moonsault from the railing of the stands, and later, Cesaro executing a tope European uppercut. Jericho was frustrated that Cesaro blocked his first attempt at a Codebreaker, but he also managed to turned the set up to the Neutralizer into a back body drop and then execute a lionsault. Jericho twice put Cesaro in the Walls of Jericho, but he forced rope breaks both times. Likewise, Jericho forced rope breaks when Cesaro tried to make him submit to the sharpshooter and the crossface.
The referee was knocked out when Jericho got out of the way of a diving European uppercut. After giving Cesaro a step-up enzuigiri kick, Jericho went outside to grab the Lucha Underground Championship belt. He brought it into the ring and nailed Cesaro in the head with it. He tried to wake the referee, but it didn’t work. A new official had to come out and count the pin, but Cesaro got a shoulder up. Jericho decided to go for the Codebreaker again, but again, Cesaro blocked and countered with the sharpshooter. Jericho got to the ropes. After he got up, he thumbed Cesaro in the eye and then went for a running attack, but Cesaro countered with a Very European uppercut (flapjack-Euro uppercut combo). After that, he picked up Jericho and gave him the Neutralizer to make sure he was out cold. Then, Cesaro pinned him for the win.
