Dario Cueto is sitting in his office. He lays the Gift of the Gods title belt on his desk and starts pulling the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions from it. He suddenly sits up, as if he has felt a cold shiver. There’s a woman in the room. From behind, she leans down close to his ear and tells him that a thousand deaths have come to the Temple. He quickly turns, but sees nothing.
When he turns to look forward again, he sees her at the other side of the desk. Startled, he says that he recognizes her from two weeks ago and says that he was impressed by the luchador she was with. She tells him that her name is Catrina and she is her on behalf of Mil Muertes. She knows Dario Cueto is a big fan of violence and promises that he will bring all the violence for which Cueto could ever wish into the Temple. Cueto says that his Temple is open to any luchador with an appetite for destruction, and it seems like Mil Muertes definitely has that. So, he says, he’ll give him a chance to compete tonight. He looks down at the belt and tells Catrina to look it. As he stares at the Gift of the Gods, he explains its power to her, before stating that he’ll give Mil Muertes an opportunity to win one of the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions tonight.
When he looks up, she is gone. Catrina is once again standing behind him. Leaning in close to his ear, she says that Mil Muertes accepts his offer. When he turns to look at her again, she is gone. Cueto looks spooked for a moment, but shakes it off and goes back to taking the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions out of the belt.

Big Ryck defeated Heath Slater by pinfall. Slater put up a spirited fight, rallying after getting pummeled early on. After executing a leaping neckbreaker, he covered Big Ryck for a long two-count. When he attempted the Smash Hit, Big Ryck shoved him away into the ropes. Slater came back with a crossbody block attempt, but Big Ryck caught him and gave him a fallaway slam instead. After a pair of hard clotheslines, Big Ryck executed the Ryck Bottom and the match was over. After the match, Mr. Cisco and Castro Cortez came out. A gang beat down was under way and a table was produced from under the ring. However, Son of Havoc showed up to thwart their plans. He took Cortez’s kendo stick and took shots at everyone. Big Ryck and Cortez retreated from the ring, but Mr. Cisco ended up laid out on the table, and then put through it with a diving double-foot stomp off the top rope from Son of Havoc.

Paige defeated Victoria by pinfall. This is the second time these two of competed against each other. The last time, on Episode 12, Victoria won the match cleanly. This time, during their battle, Paige won the match, but not without using a very dangerous weapon to do so. The match spilled out to the floor, where the two women engaged in a nasty brawl that culminated with Paige bringing a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. As Victoria charged at her, Paige swung it at her abdomen. Then, she gave Victoria a Paige-Turner on the floor. After that, she rolled her into the ring and pinned her for the win.

Cesaro enters Dario Cueto’s office and tells him that he wants a match against Chris Jericho. Cueto asks him why he wants to give Jericho a match, saying that he doesn’t believe he’s earned a title shot. Cesaro says that whether he has earned it doesn’t matter because Jericho is only going to continue to be a thorn in his side until he gets a title match. He would rather just give him what he wants and then beat him soundly in the middle of the ring, so that he can make him go away and get back to concentrating on defending the Lucha Underground Championship against luchadores who have earned a shot at the championship. Cueto says that, as he is the champion, he will get his wish. Next week, Cesaro defends the Lucha Underground Championship against Chris Jericho.

Mil Muertes defeated Matt Sydal by pinfall to earn one of the Seven Ancient Aztec Medallions, which gives him one of seven spots in the match to determine who will hold the Gift of the Gods next. Mil Muertes was an impressive, dominating force. He was not invincible. Sydal did get some offense in during the match, but he only managed one pinfall attempt, which Mil Muertes kicked out of at the count of one. Mil Muertes won the match after he ran through Sydal with a spear and the Flatliner.

Awesome Kong defeated Ivelisse by pinfall to retain the Luchadoras Championship. Awesome Kong came down to the ring to gloat about how she will be a dominating, unbeatable champion who will defend her title any time, any place. To prove that point, she issues an open challenge to the locker room to try to defeat her. Ivelisse took up the challenge. The Baddest Bitch in Lucha put up a formidable fight, all the while surviving a mid-match brawl outside of the ring, where Awesome Kong powerbombed Ivelisse on the floor. That wasn’t enough to put Ivelisse away. Awesome Kong had to continue to administer punishment to her by giving her a chokeslam and then executing an Awesome Splash to secure the victory.
