Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Big Ryck by pinfall to retain the Gift of the Gods. Mysterio’s speed helped him in the early going, as he basically performed the wrestling equivalent of drive-by attacks. He made an early attempt at giving Big Ryck the West Coast Pop, but he countered it with a powerbomb. Big Ryck pummeled Mysterio with his awesome power, which acted as the equalizer. Even so, Mysterio fought back. He managed to hit the Six-One-Nine, but couldn’t capitalize on it as The Crew pulled him down from the ring apron and gave me a pair of superkicks. Son of Havoc ran out and attacked the pair of them, taking Castro Cortez’s kendo stick and hitting both of them with it. After that, Big Ryck grabbed him from behind and gave him the Ryck Bottom on the floor. Meanwhile, Mysterio got back into the ring. When Big Ryck returned, he took him down with tilt-a-whirl headscissors and then a springboard leg drop to the back of the head, which put him down long enough to roll him onto his back and pin him for the three count.

We cut to a scene of Baron Corbin working out in the Lucha Underground training room. Bad News Brown walks in and interrupts Corbin’s weight lifting activity. Corbin is annoyed with him and asks him why he did that. Brown says that he saw what Corbin did to Ambrose last week. He doesn’t give a shit whether Corbin and Ambrose like each other, but tells Corbin that he needs to knock it off because that shit is going to cost Bad News his Trios Championship title, and if Bad News loses his title, then Corbin’s going get his ass beat down. Corbin tries to strike Brown, but the former judo Olympian defends himself well and pins Corbin to the ground. He warns him that he gets one free pass and he just spent it. The next time he starts something with him, they’ll be calling him the “Dead Wolf.”

Matt Sydal defeated Pentagon Jr., Psicosis and Tully Blanchard by pinfall. At the beginning of the match, Pentagon Jr. promised to make another sacrifice to his master, but as he was saying this, he was jumped from behind by Psicosis. Plenty of high risk maneuvers were done throughout. Even Blanchard flew off the top rope to take Sydal down with a diving sunset flip, but he didn’t win the match with it. In the end, Sydal was the one who made the pinfall at the right time. With Blanchard having been knocked out of the ring, Pentagon Jr. nailed Psicosis with a package piledriver, but was then nailed by Sydal with a shining wizard. After that, Sydal went to the top rope and gave Psicosis a Shooting Sydal Press to get the win.

We cut to a scene inside of Dario Cueto’s office, where we see him meeting with Awesome Kong. He tells her that she has impressed him so much since arriving in Lucha Underground that he is going to give her a match against Sexy Star for the Luchadoras Championship next week. As Awesome Kong leaves, Rey Mysterio Jr. enters and puts the Gift of the Gods title belt down on Dario Cueto’s desk. He says that while this belt is nice, the Lucha Underground Championship is that much better. He wants his match against Cesaro. Cueto tells him that he’ll have it next week!

Charlotte Flair defeated Beth Phoenix by pinfall. Flair got out to an early advantage when she reversed an Irish whip and then dropped Phoenix into the mat with a big boot to the face. After that, she went to work on Phoenix’s back and knees. Flair made a few covers, but Phoenix easily kicked out of them. Flair applied a cloverleaf, but Phoenix got to the ropes. After that, Flair tried to attack her, but ran right into a stiff forearm. Phoenix followed that up with a sidewalk slam. After that, she went through a series of power moves. When she lifted Flair high in the air with a military press, Flair reached down and racked her eyes, which caused Phoenix to put her down. Flair immediately went for a school-girl roll-up and pulled on Phoenix’s tights with her free hand. That made the difference, as Phoenix kicked out a split second too late.

We cut to a scene of Chris Jericho warming up in the Lucha Underground locker room. As he does, a door opens and hits him, knocking him over. Jericho shouts out and tells the stupid idiot to watch what he’s doing. It turns out that the perpetrator is Cesaro. He gives Jericho a sincere apology and hopes he’ll understand that he couldn’t see him because there’s no window in the door. Jericho says that he had better be sorry and that he should actually be thanking him because if it wasn’t for the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n Rolla, he wouldn’t be the Champion. Cesaro takes affront, but Jericho explains to him that Ultimo Dragon had him beat but that he made sure that he wouldn’t win the title. Before walking out of the room, Jericho tells Cesaro that he owes him one and not to forget it.

Ultimo Dragon defeated Chris Jericho by submission, and in so doing, did not lose his mask. This match was every bit as entertaining as their last contest (see Episode 13). Both men pulled out all of the stops in this one. Jericho nailed Ultimo Dragon with a corkscrew plancha. Later, Ultimo Dragon responded by giving Jericho an Asai moonsault. Jericho executes a double underhook suplex from off the top rope. Later, Ultimo Dragon executed a super Dragonsteiner. The high impact moves continued later on when Ultimo Dragon executed an Asai DDT and pinned Jericho, but he got a foot on the bottom rope. About a minute later, Jericho was able to execute the Codebreaker, but then Ultimo Dragon kicked out. Jericho went for the Walls of Jericho, but Ultimo Dragon was close to the ropes and made the rope break.
Jericho argued with the referee while Ultimo Dragon got up on the ring apron. When Jericho turned around, Ultimo Dragon went for a springboard diving crossbody, but Jericho stepped out of the way and Ultimo Dragon landed on the referee instead. Jericho then nailed Ultimo Dragon with a step-up enzuigiri kick as Ultimo Dragon checked on the referee. Jericho left the ring to grab a steel chair and brought it back in, hitting Ultimo Dragon with it in the back and then placing it between his knees and Ultimo Dragon’s head as he gave him another Codebreaker. Jericho revived the referee and pinned Ultimo Dragon. 1…2… Cesaro pulled Jericho out of the ring. A heated argument broke out, ending with Jericho giving Cesaro the Codebreaker! He then came back into the ring and tried to give Ultimo Dragon the lionsault, but he rolled out of the way and put Jericho in the Dragonsleeper as soon as they both got to their feet, forcing Jericho to give up.
