This is a catch up of all that has happen in TNA. Due to some television deals breaking down with Pop TV no longer wanting to feature TNA Wrestling. A savior has appeared it seems, and since the closing of the WWF. We now see a new television provider and it's The USA Network. They are going to start showing TNA Wrestling. So this episode right here is going to explain what all has happen including the PPV Event of Victory Road. TNA is about to show it's biggest show of the year in October known as Bound For Glory, but before they can get there. They have to go through ROADBLOCK!
The X-Division over the past few weeks we get highlights of some of the fast paced, hard hitting action that only they can provide. Lance Storm has a stranglehold on the division and has retained his titles over all the superstars that have challenged him. He is proving he is probably the most dominant champion in TNA. He has an upcoming challenger in Dolph Ziggler who has became the newest member of the X-Division. He nailed Storm with a Superkick after a successful title defense on Impact against Eric Young. This will lead their match at Roadblock with the X-Division Title on the line.
Johnny Gargano has EXPLODED onto the scene. This man has been showing the world of wrestling in the past few months that he belongs in TNA. He can not only compete with the X-Division but in any division. He had a very shocking victory when he defeated The Miz after he claimed Johnny was in the wrong place, and needed to head off. Gargano then went on to defeat The Miz, and left him speechless for once. When Chris Benoit made his Impact debut...he said he was impressed by the young Gargano. The Miz interrupted and said that he could beat the both of them. This lead to a triple threat match that will happen at Roadblock! Benoit has taken a mentor type role with the young Gargano as The Miz wants to show he is still ontop this will happen at Roadblock.
William Regal has dominated in his run as Television Champion. He has defeated Eric Young, Gargano, Tye Dillenger, Goldust, basically everybody that has came in his path. The whole time though he has avoided the challenge of the returning Shawn Michaels. Bischoff has told Shawn that if he ever wants to become TNA Champion than he has to build himself up the ladder. Shawn has finally worked himself to a title shot. Shawn will face Regal at Roadblock, and you better believe that this is going to battle. Regal isn't about to let go of that Television Title, and HBK wants to get his shot at the belt.
The Dudleys have had a successful run with the Tag Titles. They are battling all of these young teams. They beat Alpha at the beginning of the match, and we are witnessing that being a teaching lesson as Alpha has been battling back up the ranks to get another shot at The Dudleys, but they have to go through a Roadblock first. American Alpha will face The York Foundation. A new team that made their debut by attacking Alpha. The Number One Contender Match is set American Alpha will face The York Foundation. As The Dudleys are going to put their titles on the line against Enzo and Big Cass who won a battle royal to earn the shot at the titles.
Jarrett who has been tormented for recent weeks by DDP. He got the last laugh last week when he set up DDP, and then locked him in the Figure Four. Eric Bischoff who claimed that DDP wasn't signed and was attacking like a free agent. He announces the signing of DDP and that Roadblock Jeff Jarrett will face DDP.
After Austin successfully defended his TNA Title against Kane. He was then attacked by Taker. Who had just beaten Cody Rhodes due to doctor's stoppage. After the bloody and beaten Cody Rhodes couldn't continue on. He wanted to fight but was not allowed. Cody is demanding a rematch but Taker is saying he deserves a title shot. Kane on the otherhand doesn't care and just wants carnage. So at Roadblock the matches are set Number One Contenders Match Kane against Cody Rhodes, and then Taker will face Austin for the TNA Title.
