The Vachon Brothers vs. The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers
In the opening match of the night, the Vachon Brothers defeated the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers by pinfall when Mad Dog Vachon pinned Jacques Rougeau after giving him a piledriver. The Rougeaus were setting up for La Bombe de Rougeau when Butcher Vachon attacked Raymond, freeing Mad Dog from his bearhug, which then enabled him to lunge into the ropes and trip up Jacques just as he finished climbing to the top rope. After a double-team superplex sent Jacques crashing into the mat, Mad Dog picked him up and gave him a piledriver to make his hometown proud.

Natalya Neidhart vs. Gail Kim
Gail Kim defeated Natalya Neidhart by submission when she applied the Flying Dragon to her. In getting her win, Kim was helped out by Nia Jax. Natalya complained to the referee after the match ended and Jax decided to attack her. This brought Trish Stratus and Chyna out to make the save. Jax and Kim cleared out of the ring before Stratus and Chyna could get there.

Jeremy Borash is standing by backstage with the “Swiss Superman” Cesaro too get his impression of facing two of the biggest men in the game to earn a chance to compete for the ultimate prize in the game. Cesaro understands that he has what seems like an insurmountable task ahead of him as he has to stand up to a mastodon and a giant, but they don’t call him the “Swiss Superman” for nothing.

Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri by pinfall after executing the End of Days on him. It looked like Tajiri might get the win after spitting mist in Baron Corbin’s face and then putting him in the tarantula, but after getting released from the hold, Corbin was able to wipe his eyes just clean enough to see Tajiri charging at him and give him the Deep Six. After that, Corbin finished him off with the End of Days. For winning this match, Corbin earned an Ancient Aztec Medallion. He joins Rey Mysterio Jr., Bad News Brown, Shinsuke Nakamura and Pentagon Jr. as a medallion owner. How many more will be given out?

Christian vs. Samoa Joe
In a preview of the upcoming North American Tag Team Title match at Journey to Greatness 2016, Samoa Joe defeated Christian by pinfall after giving him the Muscle Buster. With Batista and Edge at ringside, there could be little doubt that the match would not be cleanly contested. Both men got involved, but neither figured into the outcome of the match. Instead, it was their ringside brawl that allowed Sensational Sherri to trip up Christian as he went to the top rope to go for a frog splash on Joe. This gave Joe the opportunity to grab Christian and give him the Muscle Buster.

Jeremy Borash is standing by backstage with Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Big Van Vader to get their impression of tonight’s main event. Heenan feels like this match is in the bag. He knows that everyone will think he’s crazy for saying that, what with a superman and a giant as Vader’s opponents. However, he says that he has crafted a game plan for Vader that can’t be beat. And, you know, they don’t call Heenan “The Brain” for nothing.

Acadian Giant vs. Alberto El Patron
Alberto El Patron defeated the Acadian Giant by submission to the cross armbreaker. El Patron was more than up to the task of standing up to his much larger opponent. In the late moments of the match, El Patron survived a chokeslam to come back and cut the Acadian Giant down to size with some shoot kicks. Once he got him on his knees, he nailed him with a superkick and then applied the cross armbreaker.

Bret Hart vs. Chris Jericho
This match never even really got to happen. As Bret “The Hitman” Hart waited in the ring for Chris Jericho’s ring entrance, when the lights turned up, the crowd was shocked to see that Tyler Breeze spun around and stuck his selfie stick out to look at himself while wearing Chris Jericho’s $15 000 electric light up jacket. Hart, the referee and the ring announcer looked baffled. And that’s when Chris Jericho slid into the ring from behind and whacked Hart with a steel chair. He gave him several chair shots before giving him a bulldog into the chair and then landing a lionsault on him. After that, Jericho put Hart in the Walls of Jericho and refused to let go. It took an army of officials to force Jericho off of Hart. However, Y2J wasn’t done there. When it looked like he was going to leave, he broke through the officials and gave Hart a Codebreaker and then applied the lion tamer! Finally, the officials forced him off and security escorted Jericho out of the arena to a chorus of boos.
Coming back from the commercial break, Bret Hart is still in the ring and he pushes officials and medical personnel away from him. He asks for a mic and airs out his frustrations. He has nothing but bad things to say about Jericho and demands that Dario Cueto come to the ring now to give him what he wants because he won’t leave the ring until he gets it, no matter how many officials or security personnel are sent down, he’ll fight them all off if he has to. The fans are digging this Hitman. Dario Cueto finally comes out and asks what it is that Hart wants. He says that this company isn’t big enough for the two of them, referring to both he and Jericho. In fact, this country isn’t big enough for the two of them. He wants Jericho in a match at Journey to Greatness 2016. But not just any match. He wants to have Jericho banished from AGPW forever. That’s right, he’s requesting a “Loser Leaves Town” match! Dario Cueto can see the dollar signs and agrees to it. At Journey to Greatness 2016, Chris Jericho and Bret Hart will fight for the first time and the last time as the loser will be forced to leave AGPW!

Jeremy Borash is standing by backstage with André The Giant to get a few words from him concerning tonight’s main event match. André says that he is more than ready for the big task that is at hand. Cesaro and Vader can throw anything and everything they have at him and he’ll take it all. André says that he hasn’t faced a challenge that has been too big for him. André says he’s got this and he’s looking forward to facing “Nature Boy” Ric Flair at Journey to Greatness 2016! After finishing his comments, André back into his dressing room. Borash walks away and, moments later, while no one is looking, The Brain Busters are seen moving a big pile of metal crates in front of André’s dressing room door. André is barricaded inside! Will he make it to his match or did the Brain Busters just improves Vader’s odds of winning?

Ivelisse vs. Angelina Love
Ivelisse defeated Angelina Love by pinfall when she gave her the Desert Eagle (sunset flip powerbomb). It was a strong back and forth contest that was eventually won by the baddest bitch in wrestling.

VS. VS. André The Giant vs. Big Van Vader vs. Cesaro
Our main event is going to set the stage for the biggest show of the year, which is only three weeks away. This is supposed to be a triple threat elimination match, but André The Giant is a no-show, leaving it as a one-on-one contest between Cesaro and Big Van Vader. In this match, Cesaro appears to be on the verge of conquering the Mastadon when he hits the Neutralizer, but Bobby “The Brain” Heenan runs a distraction that keeps Vader in it. Cesaro grabs him by the collar and drags the Weasel into the ring, but he’s saved by Vader, who clubs Cesaro down with a big lariat to the back of the neck. Vader drops him with not one, but two powerbombs and pins him. 1…2… shoulder up! Vader is ready to destroy the referee, but Heenan steps in. While Heenan is doing his best to talk the referee into letting the match go, Vader bodyslams Cesaro and climbs the turnbuckle. Cesaro tries to move, but his legs and feet and suddenly held in place by Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard! Vader gives Cesaro the Vader Bomb! He pins. 1…2…3!
As Vader’s hand is raised, The Brain Busters come into the ring to celebrate. When Cesaro gets up, he attacks everyone in sight, but the numbers are against him. That’s when Cesaro’s friends, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly, hit the ring to even the score. They brawl until André The Giant comes into the ring and cleans house. André takes a microphone and protests the end of the match. Dario Cueto comes out and decides that André has a valid point of protest and so he orders the match to continue. It doesn’t take long for André and Vader to end up outside of the ring. They continue to brawl to the point where both men don’t return to the ring and are counter out. The brawl continues and only ends when André puts Vader through one of the announce tables with a chokeslam! The fans are going crazy and so is Heenan (but in a completely different way). Cueto remained at ringside to watch the action and takes a microphone. He announces that because of the double countout there is no clear winner of the match. Therefore, it is his decision that at Journey to Greatness 2016, Big Van Vader and André The Giant will go one-on-one in a No Countout match with the winner going on to compete for the Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship against “Nature Boy” Ric Flair later in the evening! Wow! What an announcement!
