Bret Hart vs. Big Van Vader
Bret Hart vs. Big Van Vader
Vader defeated Bret Hart by pinfall after executing the Vader Bomb on him. In a backstage segment before the match, Bobby Heenan announced that it was their choice to impress Dario Cueto by squashing the man who holds the longest International Heavyweight Championship title reign in less than 5 minutes. Vader accomplished this feat by beating Hart in a time of 4:49. However, he received a considerable amount of assistance from Hart’s former tag team partner and now sworn enemy, Chris Jericho, who attacked Hart from behind while he was walking down the entrance aisle. Jericho hit Hart with a steal chair several times, tossed him into the guardrail, and then gave him a powerbomb on the exposed concrete floor.

Bayley vs. Madison Rayne
Bayley defeated Madison Rayne by pinfall after executing the Bayley-to-Belly suplex. There was really no doubt at all as to who would win this match as Bayley was in control for nearly the entire contest. Bayley gets back on the winning track, much to the delight of the crowd.

Lance Storm vs. Pentagon Jr.
Lance Storm vs. Pentagon Jr.
Pentagon Jr. defeated Lance Storm by pinfall after executing the Fear Factor package piledriver. For winning this match, he earned an Ancient Aztec Medallion. After collecting his prize from the referee, Pentagon Jr. takes a microphone and says that his master has told him that the man under the Blue Blazer mask is none other than Owen Hart and that he has come back to avenge the loss and broken bones that he gave him. His master has demanded that he finish the job by breaking Hart’s body in two. In the meantime, it is his duty to sacrifice the arms of everyone who steps into the ring against him until Owen Hart comes out and stands face-to-face with him. With that having been said, Pentagon Jr. gives Devine the Sacrifice, which is a grounded hammerlock inverted armbreaker. Pentagon Jr. has broken Lance Storm’s arm and says that Owen Hart is directly responsible for what happened to him.

Cesaro vs. Fabulous Rougeau Brothers
Cesaro vs. Fabulous Rougeau Brothers
Cesaro defeated the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers by pinfall when he pinned Jacques Rougeau after giving him the Neutralizer. It was Cesaro’s job to do something impressive to try to earn the title shot against Ric Flair for the Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. Cesaro chose to compete in a handicap match. It was no easy undertaking, but he took advantage of some miscommunication on the part of the Rougeaus in order to score the victory.

We enter Dario Cueto’s office, where we see him meeting with Big Ryck & The Crew. Cueto tells them that André The Giant has chosen to impress him by competing in a 3-on-1 handicap match against them. He hands a stack of cash over to Big Ryck and tells him that he wants them to lay down for André tonight and to make it look easy for him because he needs the Journey to Greatness 2016 main event to have major star power! He needs it to look like it was an easy decision not to choose Cesaro because having him in the main event of the biggest show of the year would bomb at the box office. Big Ryck thanks Cueto for the money, but then tells him that he doesn’t lay down for anybody.
The conversation turns heated, but comes to a sudden end when Bret Hart walks in without even knocking. He’s pissed off at Chris Jericho and he wants him in a match tonight. Cueto says that Jericho has already left the building, so that cannot happen. However, he says that he can make it happen for next week. Bret Hart is satisfied with that answer. For the first time ever, next week, we’ll see Bret Hart vs. Chris Jericho!

André The Giant vs. Big Ryck & The Crew
André The Giant defeated Big Ryck & The Crew by disqualification when Vader came out and attacked him. In an effort to upstage his rivals, Cesaro and Vader, André The Giant chose to fight in a 3-on-1 handicap match. While it proved to be quite a challenge, ultimately, André fought valiantly and appeared to be on the brink of victory when Vader came to the ring to stop him. Big Ryck and The Crew joined in to put a 4-on-1 beatdown on André. The assault ended with Vader giving André the Vader Bomb!

Sexy Star vs. Paige
Sexy Star vs. Paige
Paige defeated Sexy Star by pinfall after executing the Ram-Paige DDT. If Sexy Star would have won this match, she would have automatically earned a second chance at competing against Charlotte Flair for the Women’s Championship. However, Flair interfered in the match to ensure that wouldn’t happen.

Nakamura was impressive in picking up another win over a very accomplished opponent. What’s more is that for winning this match, Nakamura has earned an Ancient Aztec Medallion. He joins Rey Mysterio Jr., Bad News Brown and Pentagon Jr. as one of the holders of the Ancient Aztec Medallions. How many more medallions are there and what benefits will each man receive for being in possession of one of them? Hopefully, we’ll find out soon.

Kurt Angle & Randy Savage vs. Batista & Samoa Joe
Kurt Angle & Randy Savage vs. Batista & Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe & Batista defeated Kurt Angle & “Macho Man” Randy Savage by pinfall when Batista pinned Angle after giving him a Batista Bomb! Angle was left to fend for himself in a 2-on-1 situation, which ultimately led to Joe and Batista winning the match. Savage abandoned Angle after a situation occurred in which Batista threw Savage through the ropes and he collided with Miss Elizabeth. She was knocked down hard. The match was briefly paused as Angle and ringside doctors checked on Elizabeth. Savage got pissed off and started a shouting match with Angle, who would have none of it. He picked up Elizabeth and headed to the backstage area to seek medical treatment for her. Savage was jumped by his opponents. However, he wasn’t left to fend for himself for long. Angle returned to the ring, but all that earned him were false allegations of impropriety and a slap to face. Savage walked out on Angle, who was then gradually beat down until he was given the Muscle Buster by Joe and the Batista Bomb by Batista. By winning this match, Samoa Joe & Batista have become the #1 contenders to the North American Tag Team Titles. Sherri grabs a microphone and proclaims that we’re looking at the next North American Tag Team Champions!

Dario Cueto has come to the ring to announce who has earned the opportunity to face “Nature Boy” Ric Flair for the Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship at Journey to Greatness 2016. Cueto says that André would have been the clear choice had he beat three men at once, but he didn’t get the job done, so he cannot make a decision based on tonight’s performances. That means that the only thing he can do to settle this once and for all is to make a huge main event for next week that will determine who gets the chance. It will be André The Giant vs. Big Van Vader vs. Cesaro in a triple threat elimination match with the winner going on to Journey to Greatness 2016 to compete for the Mash-Up Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship and the runner up competing for the AGPW International Heavyweight Championship!
Suddenly, “”Dawn” by classic composer Richard Strauss fills the arena and the holder of both of those titles, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair comes to the ring. He has nothing but great things to say about Dario Cueto, talking about what a great business man and promoter he is, and how much of a perfect gentleman he is, but then he tells him that he hates his decision to force him into two matches in one night while all of his pontential opponents will only have one. Cueto says that those are the unfortunately consequences of being a double champion, but they come with great rewards, telling Flair that he has the opportunity to make history by retaining both titles in one night. Then, Flair changes his tune, going off on a rant about how he is the greatest wrestler of all-time and says that he guarantees that he’ll walk into Vancouver, British Columbia with two titles and walk out of it with two titles and a limousine full of Vancouver’s finest Vancougars. And rest assured that when he gets finished defending both of his titles, he’s going to take them all to the President’s Suite at the Marriott and make them all go “Woooo!”

We go backstage to the medical trainer’s room, where we see Miss Elizabeth laying on a gurney. She’s clearly in pain. Meanwhile, “Macho Man” Randy Savage is there and he’s telling her that if it wasn’t for Kurt Angle, she wouldn’t be in this position. He blames Angle for everything bad that has happened to Elizabeth. Angle arrives and wants to know why Savage left him out there all alone. Savage accuses Angle of having jealous eyes. He says that Angle’s eyes lust for Elizabeth. Angle denies it, but Savage won’t hear any of it. Angle turns to Elizabeth and asks her to try to talk some sense into him and it is at that moment that Savage attacks Angle. He knocks him over and pounds away at him. Elizabeth tries to get in the way and defend Angle, but Savage grabs her by the arm and throws her out of the way. The room fills with officials and they get in Savage’s way as they check on both Elizabeth and Angle. Savage is forced to leave the room and our show ends with him shouting out that he’s going to kill Kurt Angle!
