Winner Challenges Ric Flair for the International Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe
In the opening bout of Spring Slaughter, Kurt Angle will wrestle Samoa Joe for the right to face Ric Flair later on in the evening’s main event. Angle and Joe have become bitter rivals since Joe joined forces with Sensational Sherri and Batista. He did that by slamming a cage door shut on Angle, costing him a title shot at last month’s Hellfire in Halifax. Joe believes that Sherri knows how to get things done and can pull the strings to get him a return match against Flair for the International Heavyweight Championship, which he lost when Flair pinned him with his feet on the ropes. Sherri has made good to get Joe back in position to get the title back, but Angle has vowed to make sure that Joe will never get a shot at the title before he does.

Women’s Championship Match
Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya Neidhart
Women’s Championship Match
Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya Neidhart
AGPW Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, has had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with her father since he won the AGPW International Heavyweight Championship. His cocky attitude has begun to rub off on Charlotte. It is easy to stop being humble when one has been the champion for over 9 months and counting. This has led to Charlotte’s heel turn, which came after a tag team match against members of the Beautiful People. Her partner for that match, Natalya Neidhart, won the match by getting Velvet Sky to tap out to the sharpshooter. In a post-match interview, Charlotte bragged about how she did everything, implying that she carried her team. Natalya refused to let her take full credit for the victory, so Charlotte punked her out and accused Nattie of trying to steal her spotlight. For her part, Natalya says that she was never trying to steal the spotlight, but now she’s going to take it when she wins the Women’s Championship at Spring Slaughter.

Three Stages of Hell: Falls Count Anywhere, Submission & Ladder
North American Tag Team Championship Match
Bret Hart & Chris Jericho vs. Edge & Christian
The ongoing feud between these two teams should be well known by now. This promises to be their final battle. There will be no countouts and no disqualifications. It is a best two out of three match, but not just any ordinary two out of three match – for the first time in AGPW history, we’re going to get a Three Stages of Hell Match! Each team was allowed to pick a stipulation for one of the stages of the match and Dario Cueto chose the other stage. The order of the stages will begin with Dario Cueto’s Falls Count Anywhere stipulation, followed by the Tag Team Champions’ choice of Submissions only for the second stage. In the event that a third stage will be necessary, it will be contested under Ladder Match rules, as chosen by the challengers. It’s do or die for both teams. Which one will ultimately come out on top? Find out at Spring Slaughter!

“Macho Man” Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth vs. Batista w/ Sensational Sherri
Hell in a Cell Match
“Macho Man” Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth vs. Batista w/ Sensational Sherri
“Macho Man” Randy Savage and “The Animal” Batista have been engaged in an enormous feud that goes back over half a year now. It began when Sensation Sherri returned to AGPW to make ominous threats to the Macho Man and to announce that she had found a new king. The new king was Batista and he attacked Savage at every opportunity. When they had their first match, Batista took a loss via disqualification for putting Savage through both ringside announce team tables. This put Savage on the shelf for about two months. Then, he returned to exact revenge on Batista. Both men couldn’t be in the same building without coming to blows and tearing it apart, which became the impetus of their Falls Count Anywhere Match at War on the East Coast 2015. Savage lost this match by getting thrown from above an arena entrance through a stack of tables. This, of course, only happened after Savage was shocked by the presence of Miss Elizabeth, who was seated in the audience. Savage was once again put on the shelf by Batista, but returned at a most inopportune time for Batista, when he attacked Batista while he was challenging Ric Flair for the International Heavyweight Championship at Hellfire in Halifax. Now, Savage has reunited with the love of his life, Sherri and Batista are angry and tempers are running at an all-time high. As a result, Dario Cueto has decided to let them have it out one last time in the most dangerous and intimidating structure ever introduced into a wrestling arena: the Hell in a Cell!

$100 000 Cash Up For Grabs
Cesaro vs. Big Ryck
$100 000 Cash Up For Grabs
Cesaro vs. Big Ryck
At Hellfire in Halifax, Cesaro won the $100 000 Dario Cueto Ladder Match. In this match, a briefcase filled with cash was suspended above the ring and whoever was to retrieve it would get the money. Cesaro won the money, but on the very next edition of The Titans of Grand Prix, he came to the ring with the money and announced that he didn’t want it. He said that Dario Cueto could have his money back because all he wanted was a match against Ric Flair for the International Heavyweight Championship, a match he feels that he rightfully deserves. If you will recall, Cesaro won a match for the title at Winter Warfare. There was a great deal of controversy surrounding this match, which was haphazardly added to the card when Ric Flair was unable to defend the title against Cesaro, despite the match being advertised. Then, a controversial decision was made by Dario Cueto to reinstate Ric Flair as the International Heavyweight Champion when he was hired to replace the outgoing Commissioner Billy Two Rivers. However, when Cesaro made this announcement, he was attacked by Big Ryck and the Crew, who stole the $100 000 in cash. Dario Cueto told Cesaro that if he could get his money back from Big Ryck, then he could use the $100 000 to buy a match against Ric Flair, so now we have this match with the money on the line.

Fatal Fourway #1 Contender’s Match
Bayley vs. Paige vs. Sexy Star vs. Jazz
Last month at Hellfire in Halifax, Sexy Star defeated Jazz in a pre-show bonus match. Afterwards, Jazz attacked her. Bayley came out to help her friend, but then Paige surprised everyone by also coming down to the ring. Then, she surprised us by attacking Sexy Star and Bayley, leaving both of them knocked out. Bayley and Sexy Star have wanted to get back at Paige ever since, but have had no luck. Jazz, who normally goes it alone, decided to form an alliance of convenience with Paige and has watched her back. A tag team match on The Titans of Grand Prix ended in a double countout brawl. Then, Dario Cueto decided to throw a wrench in everything by signing them all to compete in this fatal fourway match with the winner earning a shot at the Women’s Championship at Rocky Mountain Warfare, next month.

King of Strong Style vs. Mexico’s Greatest Export
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Alberto El Patron
Alberto El Patron thinks that he hasn’t been given a fair shake in the first few months of 2016, so he registered a complaint to Dario Cueto, telling him that he is the best wrestler in the world and he wants to prove it. Dario Cueto told him he had just the perfect opponent in mind for him to prove it and then revealed that he signed the biggest free agent in professional wrestling, the “King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura! El Patron gets the big challenge he is looking for when Nakamura makes his debut and looks to show the world that he isn’t just the best wrestler in Japan, but the best wrestler in the entire world.

6-Man Tag Team Match
The Acadian Giant, Rhino & Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. The Heenan Family: Vader & The Brain Busters
Bobby “The Brain” Heenan had been searching for months to find a new home for his family, when finally he had a meeting with Dario Cueto, who welcomed his family into AGPW. The Brain Busters have been here before, but they didn’t reach the lofty heights that they hoped to, so they left and joined up with Heenan. However, following the demise of the WWF, Heenan needed not only to find a new home for the family, but to re-tool it. He scored a major coup when he managed to bring one of the most dangerous and intimidating monsters of all-time into the fold: Big Van Vader! At Spring Slaughter, the Heenan Family debuts against AGPW’s biggest giant and two of its most extreme competitors of all-time: The Acadian Giant, Rhino and Yoshihiro Tajiri!

Pre-Show Bonus 6-Man Tag Team Match
Leo Burke, Rey Mysterio Jr. & Dean Malenko vs. Ted DiBiase, Earthquake & “Killer” Karl Krupp
Our pre-show bonus match will be the first of two 6-man tag team matches on the programme for Spring Slaughter. There is no big story going into this one. Burke and Krupp have an unresolved feud, but apart from that this is just a case of throwing some faces and heels together and letting them go out there to what they do best and that is wrestle!
