NWA Championship Wrestling from TBS Studios

The program kicks off in front of the classic NWA logo behind the studio desk with the announcing trio of Joey Styles, Les Thatcher & Mike Tenay. They welcome the fans to the first hour of the two-hour NWA program from Atlanta, Georgia. The trio say they have comments from the Four Horsemen w/mgr. James J. Dillon, 'Cowboy' Bill Watts, 'Dirty' Dusty Rhodes, Missy Hyatt, Tammy Fytch, Sonny Onoo & Asuka & the debut of another female manager Terri Runnels.
Before the start of today's matches, Joey, Les & Mike bring out 'Cowboy' Bill Watts to talk about the $25,000 bounty James J. Dillon put on his head to prevent him from getting back in the ring with NWA World's Heavyweight Champion 'The Original Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers. Bill says he understands that the next bounty hunter is Jerry 'The King' Lawler in the second hour. Watts says it's going to be the biggest mistake of 'The Burger King's' life.
First Hour Matches/Interviews
We go to the ring with Mike McGuirk for our first match of the first hour.
Singles Match. Brian Pillman pins George South with a roll up. (7:33).
Following the match, Pillman goes to the desk to talk with Styles about him losing the TV title to Kerry Von Erich last week. He says Missy Hyatt denied his request for a rematch today. Pillman says he will bide his time. When the chance comes, the NWA TV title will be back around his waist.

Single Women's Match. Cheerleader Melissa used the Air Raid Crash to defeat Taryn Terrell. (7:43).
Tenay talks with manager Sonny Onoo who presents a video of his Japanese superstars working out in the gym including, NWA World's Junior Champ Masahiro Chono & NWA Women's World's Champ Asuka. Onoo builds on the superiority of Japan's athletes.

Single Match. Daniel Bryan debuts & usages the guillitine choke to submit 'Scrap Iron' Adam Pearce. (8:04).

Four Man Tag Team Match. 'The Rock n Roll Express (RIcky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeats the Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) in a scientific match until the end when Morton & Fulton get into a heated discusssion with Ricky pinning Bobby who tried to sucker punch Morton & it backfired. (9:01).

Before the beginning of the match, Missy Hyatt & the Von Erich Brothers talk about Kerry being the greatest World's TV champion ever. Les asks Hyatt her champions is defending the title against a man with more losses than wins in the NWA. She pouts & tells Thatcher it is no of his business. Mike Tenay slips in a question about MsChif & Missy bounces with Kerry to the ring.
NWA World's TV Title Match. (Champ): Kerry Von Erich w/mgr. Missy Hyatt used the Iron Claw to easily beat (Chall): Pepper Parks w/wife Cherry Bomb. (4:10).

Second Hour Matches/Interviews
Before the start of the first match of the second hour, Styles interviews a smoking hot Terri Runnels who says she is looking for young talent to manage in the NWA & she has the money to buy anyone. Runnels says the Fantastics got robbed against the Rock n Roll Express. She may make them an offer.
Single Match. Goldberg spears the Masked Maurder (Ric Bogner) for a quick pin. (:42).

Four Man Tag Team Match. The Wild Eyed Southern Boys (Steve Armstrong & Tracy Smotherns) wrestled to a time limit draw the Heavenly Bodies (Tom Pritchard & Jimmy Del Ray) w/mgr. Tammy Sytch. (10:00).
Following the match, a pissed off Fytch is ask about Terri Runnels setting up shop as a manager. Tammy says she doesn't care but for her & Missy Hyatt to keep away from the men in her stable.

Challenge Single Match. No Count Out Rule Waived. Danny Hodge fell to Doctor X who used the built up boot to kick Hodge in the gut then pulled the tights to get the victory. (8:51).

Non-title single match. NWA World's Women's Champ Asuka w/mgr. Sonny Onoo submitted Cherry Bomb to the Kana Lock. Bomb was without Pepper Parks who was recuperating from Goldberg's spear in the dressing room. (5:01).

Return Non-title Four Man Tag Team Match demanded by James J. Dillon. NWA World Tag Team Champs the Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Gene & Ole Anderson) w/mgr. James J. DIllon defeated the Von Erich's (David & Kevin) w/Missy Hyatt. (7:44). The Anderson's double teamed as Ole held the tights on David to take the pin. Missy was hot after the match.

Before the match, NWA World's Heavyweight Champ 'Original Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers w/mgr. James J. Dillon state that if Mr. Lawler cannot get the job done, they will get somebody who will. J.J. adds that Mr. Rogers is still trying to get that coward MSD World's Heavyweight Champ Ric 'Copycat' Flair to come back to the NWA & put the belt up against the greatest wrestler in the world -- Buddy Rogers.
$25,000 Bounty Match offered by James J. Dillon to anyone who can put out Bill Watts. 'Cowboy' Bill Watts stampeded Jerry 'The King' Lawler for the win but suffered a beatdown at the hands of the Lawler, the Andersons & The Miz until help arrives from the dressing room in the form of 'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert, the Rock n Roll Express & 'Captain Redneck' Dick Murdoch. (6:35).
Joey, Les, Mike (Tenay) & Mike (McGuirk) are wrap up today's show reminding the fans to tune in next week for the debut of the tag team Demolition & Chris Benoit.
