From Moncton Coliseum in Moncton, New Brunswick
Live Attendance: 6 755
First Match: In the first of four Beat the Clock Challenge matches, the Vachon Brothers defeat Leo Burke & “Killer” Karl Krupp by pinfall after Mad Dog Vachon gives Leo Burke a piledriver. They win the match in 9:34, setting the time for the other teams to try to beat. Following the match, Krupp helps Burke up, only to knock him back down with a stiff lariat. He continues his assault by putting the Iron Claw on him and then whipping him with his riding crop.
Coming back from commercial break, SoCal Val catches up with “Killer” Karl Krupp in the backstage area and finds out that Krupp is tired of Burke being an absolute loser, just like everyone else here in Moncton. He tells the town that they can have him back because he’s done with him.
Back in the ring, we find Jeremy Borash, who announces that AGPW Commissioner Billy Two Rivers has been put out of commission as a result of the vicious assault by Rusev, to which he was the victim, last week. Two Rivers’ injuries were severe enough that he will not be able to return to his post. Therefore, Borash introduces us to his successor, handpicked by AGPW owner Émile Duprée: Mr. Dario Cueto, a successful fight promoter from Spain. He's the man from the limosine that was spotted in Québec City at Winter Warfare 2016 telling Duprée to call him "if anything unfortunate should happen." What an odd coincidence!
Cueto announces that as the new promoter of AGPW, he will allow fighters from all over the world to enter this ring and either kick ass or have their asses kicked. In this ring, under his watch, AGPW will honour the ancient traditions of courage, honour and – his personal favourite – violence. Cueto has with him a briefcase and he opens it up to reveal a stack of cash. Cueto announces that he has $100 000 cash. This is not Émile Duprée’s money, rather it is his own. To spice things up, he is offering this money to the fighter who impresses him the most. Next week, anyone who wants to earn this money, can attempt to impress him and those wrestlers who are the most impressive will have the opportunity to get rich or die trying at Hellfire in Halifax 2016!
Second Match: The new tag team of Rhino & Tajiri pick up the win, but fail to Beat the Clock as it takes them 11:53 to defeat the excellent team of Rey Mysterio Jr. and Ultimo Dragon. They collect the win by pinfall after Rhino ran through Mysterio with a GORE! Of note, Mysterio wrestled the last half of the match 2-on-1, as Ultimo Dragon appeared to go down with an injury that had him out on the floor for the remainder of the match.
Third Match: Sexy Star earns the win over Allison Danger, pinning her for a 3-count after giving her a swinging fisherman’s suplex.
Fourth Match: The team of Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly, otherwise known as reDRagon, earned the victory over the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. Fish pinned Raymond Rougeau after they gave him their double-team finisher, Chasing the Dragon. They also set a new time to beat by winning the match in a time of 8:49.
Fifth Match: Tyson Kidd is back. FACT. He’s teaming up with Matt Sydal for this tag team match. FACT. He grabs a microphone before the match and vows to prevent Edge and Christian from winning the match, having not forgotten that it was Edge who put him on the shelf 5 months ago. FACT. However, his plan doesn’t go according to plan, as Edge spears Black and Christian gives him a frog splash and pins him to earn the win in a time of 8:12, which earns them their rematch against Bret Hart and Chris Jericho at Hellfire in Halifax 2016. After the match, Tyson Kidd attacks Matt Sydal for failing and puts him in a sharpshooter until referees can get him to stop. FACT.
In a backstage interview with SoCal Val, Gail Kim talks about how she’s the best woman in wrestling, how she carried the team and pinned the Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to earn the victory for her team, and how that means that she deserves another title shot. Then, Chyna shows up on the interview set to take offense to Kim claiming that she carried the team when it was obvious that the only reason Flair was knocked out long enough to be pinned was because she gave her the Pedigree. Kim makes peace with Chyna, for now, with some half-hearted compliments before walking away, leaving Chyna to look on with an unconvincing glare in her eyes.
In a backstage interview with Jeremy Borash, Cesaro claims to be the rightful holder of the International Heavyweight Championship and speaks foul of Mash-Up World Heavyweight Champion “Nature Boy” Ric Flair for stealing his title belt. Borash asks him what he thinks about Flair also having a title belt and claiming that Cesaro wore a replica title belt. Cesaro doesn’t know how to explain that there are now two titles, but says that there really should only be one and that if Ric Flair is even half the champion he claims he is, he’ll come to St. John, New Brunswick, next week, and give him back his title belt.

TSteel Cage #1 Contender's Match
Kurt Angle w/ Miss Elizabeth vs. Batista w/ Sensational Sherri
Sixth Match: In this 20-minute ppv-calibre steel cage match, it is the “Animal” Batista who emerges victorious over the “Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle. At the end of this intense battle, after already receiving one Batista Bomb a few minutes earlier, Angle blocks a second one from happening with multiple punches to Batista’s face and gives him an Angle Slam. Angle tries to climb out of the cage, but Batista catches him at the top and after a fist fight, both men go falling down to the mat. Angle starts crawling towards the cage door as Batista slowly begins to scale the side of the cage. As it looks like Angle is about to escape, we see Samoa Joe come down to ringside and slam the cage door in on Angle’s head! Batista successfully climbs over the top of the cage and scales down the side make it to the floor. Batista becomes the number one contender.
Meanwhile, Samoa Joe is finished with Angle. He goes into the ring and continues to beat down the bloodied Olympic Gold Medalist, finishing him off with a Muscle Buster! The fans can’t believe what they’ve just seen. Batista and Sherri enter the cage and laugh as they see Miss Elizabeth checking on Angle. Then, they turn to Joe and there are high fives and fist bumps all around. Joe raises Batista’s hand in the air as the show comes to an end.
