NWA Championship Wrestling from TBS Studios Saturday Jan.16.
Episode 2
VTR from last week's first program, 'Captain Redneck' Dick Murdoch & 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes join Joey Styles, Les Thatcher & Mike Tenay ringside. Murdoch begins talking about how great the Outlaws were together & how he is looking forward to teaming with his old friend agaibn. Suddenly, Rhodes explodes & attack's Murdoch. He rams Dick's head into the announcer's table then steals a steel chair & attacks him across the back of the head, drawing blood. Before he can do much more damage, wrestlers from the dressing room come out to help Murdoch. Dusty says the 'American Dream' is dead!. 'Dirty' Dusty Rhodes is back! And storms off the set.
The program kicks off in front of the classic NWA logo behind the studio desk with the announcing trio of Joey Styles, Les Thatcher & Mike Tenay recapping what happened at the end of the second hour of last week's program. They welcome the fans to the first hour of the NWA program from Atlanta, Georgia.
First hour matches/interviews
We go to the ring with the lovely Mike McGuirk for first match ring introductions
Single Match. 'Dirty' Dusty Rhodes jumps 'Big' Rex Hargove at the start of the match & quickly finishes him off with a running elbow drop to get the pin. (4:00).
Following the match, Rhodes takes the microphone then goes on a rant about how being the good guy cost him a lot of money & titles. 'Dusty says no more. He is going to take what he wants & to hell with all his old friends if they are stupid enough to get in his way. And Ricky Flair's MSD World's Heavyweight Championship is what he wants most.'

Four Man Tag Team Match. The Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark) beat the Naturals (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) when the brothers hit the Briscoe Bottom (double sitout side slam)on Douglas. (8:26).
Following the match, 'Captain Redneck' Dick Murdoch comes out to the desk with his head wrapped in tape. Murdoch says he doesn't know Rhodes anymore. 'Dusty made his bed & he can lay in it. Payback is going to hell Dustty, because I'm going to stomp a mudhole in that fat head of yours.'

Before the start of the match, MsChif makes it loud & clear that she is here after the NWA Woman's World Belt held by Madusa. 'Nothing personal Alexa Thatcher, but I'm going to show the World's Champ what is instore for her when she gets into the ring with me when I whip you in the next couple of minutes.'
Women's Singles Match. MsChif pinned Alexa Thatcher for the win following scissored DDT after coming back from a crushing Boston Crab by Thatcher. (9:01).

NWA World's TV Championship Match. (Champ): the Miz won by a count out over (Challenger): Gunner (Phil Shatter). (8:02). In a real see-saw contest, MIz & Shatter tumbled out of the ring to the floor. Near the 8-count, the champ shoved the challenger into the first row then rolled under the bottom rope to beat the 10-count & retain his title.
After the match, manager James J. Dillon comes out to congratulate the Miz for another successful title defense. Dillon says, 'After much careful consideration & the input from NWA World's Heavyweight Champion 'The Original Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers, I would like to invite to you join the most dangerous group of wrestlers ever put together, the Four Horsemen. Rogers, joined by the NWA World's Tag Team Champions the Anderson Brothers (Gene & Ole), welcome officially the Miz as the newest member of the greatest wrestling organization of champions in the world.' The Miz thanks J.J. & is joined by Rogers & the Anderson Brothers & hold up the Four Horsemen finger sign.
The announcers are stunned & say that makes this group a lot more dangerous with the addition of the Miz to the group.

Second hour matches/interviews
Prematch interview in the ring with ring announcer Mike McGuirk talking to manager Tammy Sytch who warns all tag teams in the NWA to watch out before the Heavenly Bodies are going for the gold. They will take no prisioners. After all, they have the Heavenliest Body managing them.
Four Man Tag Team Match. The Heavenly Bodies (Tom Pritchard & Jimmy Del Ray) w/valet Tammy Sytch put away the Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) when Del Ray lifts Rogers in the air into the arms of Pritchard who is on the second turnbuckle who hits a diving powerslam. (8:33).

Prematch interview with big obnoxious Blackjack Mulligan about his match on TV today against 'Cowboy' Bill Watts. Mulligan says 'he's going to whip that fat Okie sow & make him squeal'.
Single Match. NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Tiger Mask IV defeated Eddie 'Hot Stuff' with a scissored armbar. (7:34).

Six Man Tag Team Match. The Von Erich Brothers (David, Kerry & Kevin) w/Missy Hyatt took a win from Adam Pearce, Scott Hall & Lex Luger when David used the Iron Claw to pin a bloody Pearce. (8:31). Kerry & Lex had a stand off after the match until the Von Erichs got Kerry out of the ring.
Afterwards, Hyatt & the Von Erichs join Joey, Les & Mike at the desk to talk about the competition in the NWA. Cackling with glee, Missy says her Von Erichs are the greatest wrestlers in the world from the greatest state in the US -Texas! David, Kerry & Kevin elude obnoxious arrogance.

Prematch interview with 'Cowboy' Bill Watts who responds to Mulligan's boast about making him squeal like a pig. Watts says 'Mulligan's gonna need a shoe horn to get my cowboy boot out of his big rear end when I am done with him.'
Single Match. 'Cowboy' Bill Watts went 'no contest' with Blackjack Mulligan in a pure brawl when neither man would listen to official Dave Hebner, fighting outside of the ring. (5:29). Both men had to be seperated by other wrestlers following the match.

Before the end of the show, Lex Luger is with Mike McGuirk ringside to issue a challenge to Kerry Von Erich next week on TV to a pose down challenge to see who has the best body in the NWA.
The announcing trio sign off & remind the fans to tune in next week for more NWA Wrestling on TBS.
