NWA Wrestling
From TBS Studios. The program kicks off in front of the classic NWA logo behind the studio desk with the announcing trio of Joey Styles, Les Thatcher & Mike Tenay. They welcome the fans to the first new NWA program from Atlanta, Georgia. The go to the ring with announcer Mike McGuirk.
First hour matches
Single Match. Dory Funk Jr. wrestled to a 10-minute time limit draw with Danny Hodge as the match finishes with a hand shake between both men. (10:00).

Four Man Tag Team Match. Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeated the Naturals (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) when the Express hit a double dropkick on Stevens with Gibson getting the pin. (8:56).
Following the match, manager 'Playboy' Gary Hart with the Original Sheik & Abdullah the Butcher talks about what animals the Original Sheik & Abdullah the Butcher are. They are going to dominate & destroy their opponents here in the NWA.

Non-Title Women's Singles Match. World's Women's Champion Madusa Miceli pinned Rebel for the win following a lengthy airplane spin. (6:01).
Following the match, Madusa joins Joey, Les & Mike at the desk to talk about the competition in the NWA. She credits the women's division for being extremely tough & she is going to have to be at her best night after night to remain champion.

World's TV Championship Match. (Champ): the Miz used the full nelson facebuster to beat (Chall): Pepper Parks who came on strong early on until the Miz took control following a costly mistake. Parks was accompanied by female wrestler/wife Cherry Bomb (Laura Dennis). (9:02).
After the match, Joey, Les & Mike present a taped interview from Tokyo, Japan, with manager Sonny Onoo who is managring these great starts from Japan - Antonio Inoki, the team of Genichiro Tenryu & Jumbo Tsuruta, Masa Chono & Asuka (aka Kana). Onoo says they are coming to the United States to capture the titles then take them back to Tokyo with a lot of American money.

Second hour matches
Pre-match interview in the ring with ring announcer Mike McGuirk talking to manager Tammy Sytch who warns all tag teams in the NWA to watch out before the Heavenly Bodies are going for the gold. They will take no prisoners. After all, they have the Heavenliest Body managing them.
Four Man Tag Team Match. The Heavenly Bodies (Tom Pritchard & Jimmy Del Ray) w/valet Tammy Sytch put away Ricky Fields & Terry Latham when Del Ray lifts Fields in the air into the arms of Pritchard who is on the second turnbuckle who hits a diving powerslam. (7:13).

Prematch interview with 'Cowboy' Bill Watts about his coming to the NWA & going after the NWA World's Heavyweight Title held by 'Nature Boy' Buddy Roberts.
Single Match. NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Tiger Mask IV defeated George South with a scissored armbar. (8:54).

Non-Title Four Man Tag Team Match. NWA World's Tag Team Champions the Minnesota Wrecking Crew Gene & Ole Anderson w/mgr. James J. Dillon beat Bad Attitude (David Young & Rick Michaels) by submission over Michaels. (7:31).
Afterwards, J.J. & the Andersons join Joey, Les & Mike at the desk to talk about the competition in the NWA. There is no competition for the greatest tag team ever. When you get in the ring to try to take our belts, pay your insurance because you're going to need it.

Non-Title Single Match. NWA World's Heavyweight Champion 'Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers w/mgr. James J. Dillon used the figure-four leg lock to take down 'Scrap Iron' Adam Pearce . (8:21).
Following the match, Rogers with Dillon are interviewed ringside by Styles. Rogers is nothing but confidence in his abilities to remain the NWA World's Heavyweight Champ as long as he wants to. But the NWA champ wants a shot at the MSD World's Heavyweight Championship Belt held by his copy cat - 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair. Buddy says Ricky is a poor man's Buddy & somebody better slap some sense into that boy before he steps in the ring with him. HIs time as MSD World's Champ is ending as soon as they step in the ring together.

Before signing off, 'Captain Redneck' Dick Murdoch & 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes join the announcers ringside. Murdoch begins talking about how great the Outlaws were together & how he is looking forward to teaming with his old friend again. Suddenly, Rhodes explodes & attacks Murdoch. He rams Dick's head into the announcer's table then steals a steel chair & attacks him across the back of the head, drawing blood when wrestlers from the dressing room come out to help Murdoch. Dusty says the 'American Dream' is dead!. 'Dirty' Dusty Rhodes is back! And storms off the set. The stunned trio sign off & remind the fans to tune in next week for more NWA Wrestling on TBS.
