Rhino vs. Rusev
Rhino vs. Rusev
Tonight’s special 3-hour edition of The Titans of Grand Prix kicks off with a match between Rusev and Rhino. Before Rhino enters the arena, Rusev and Prince Nana take a few moments to cut a promo on how horrible America is. Rusev claims to be happy to have left America, the toilet bowl of the Americas, and he calls Kurt Angle the biggest lump of shit in it. Now, he will have the pleasure of crushing another filthy American, the “Man-Beast” Rhino. After Rhino makes his entrance and the instant after the bell rings, Kurt Angle’s entrance music hits and he comes down to join the commentary team of Ed Whalen and Vampiro. Angle’s presence at the commentary booth serves as a major distraction to Rusev. Before engaging with Rhino, he wastes a ton of time shouting at Angle. Then, periodically during the match, he will take his eye off of Rhino and focus on Angle. When Rusev is poised to win – following a swinging side slam – instead of quickly applying the Accolade, he points at Angle and screams at him about how his fate is to be just like Rhino. Angle has heard enough, so he stands up and shouts at him to put his focus back on his opponent, which only draws Rusev’s attention that much more. Rusev is half way through the ropes, when Prince Nana gets in his way and urges him to finish off Rhino. Unfortunately for him, Rhino has already recovered. He charges at him, going for the GORE! GORE! GORE! but Rusev knocks him out with a quick jumping side kick and then finally locks him in the Accolade. Rusev wins by submission.
Angle signs off on commentary by saying that he looks forward to his AGPW debut at War on the East Coast, which he will dedicate to the people of the United States of America. Angle gets up to leave and as he is walking by the ring, Rusev shouts something about disrespect at him and then jumps out of the ring and attacks him Rusev throws him into the guardrail and then picks up a portion of the steel ring steps and drives them into Angle’s back three times. Finally, he and Prince Nana leave as AGPW officials come rushing down to the scene.

Bayley vs. Jazz
Bayley vs. Jazz
Bayley has her first big test inside of an AGPW ring as she is stepping into the ring against the baddest bitch on the planet, Jazz. Bayley is the strong fan favourite, but she goes into an early hole, with Jazz delivering her powerful offense. When Jazz goes for the Jazz Stinger, Bayley manages to brush her arms away and take her down with a running double axehandle smash, then another and another. Bayley sends Jazz into the corner and executes a running back elbow smash and then tries to execute the Bayley-to-Belly suplex, but Jazz blocks it and executes a side belly-to-belly suplex of her own. She pins, but Bayley kicks out. Jazz goes to pick up Bayley, who catches her off guard by executing an exploder suplex on her! She drags Jazz into position and climbs the turnbuckle, where she attempts, but misses a moonsault. After that, Jazz puts her in the Bitch Clamp to get the win.

Bailey is seen walking down a backstage hallway. She looks dejected after having suffered her first loss. She walks right into the Beautiful People, who once again begin their bullying routine. They treat Bayley like crap for walking into their hallway and make fun of her for losing her match. Bayley looks like she’s on the verge of tears, when Sexy Star shows up on the scene and tells the Beautiful People to get lost. They threaten to make mincemeat out of her, but the threats don’t work on Sexy Star. Although clearly outnumbered, she stands her ground, showing no fear. The Beautiful People decide to leave, but not before telling Sexy Star to watch her back. She responds by challenging one of them to a match tonight. They accept. Later on, Sexy Star will face Velvet Sky.
Earlier today, the self-proclaimed "King of Cuteville," Tyler Breeze, was on location in downtown Toronto for Toronto Fashion Week. He's reporting from the runway, as Canada's top fashion designers introduce their 2016 collections. We get a short montage of Breeze approving or disapproving of some of next year's "hottest" items and cuts, as well as universally panning the models for failing to be super good looking. We'll get more from Tyler Breeze at Fashion Week in Toronto later in the show.
Jeremy Borash is standing by with Cesaro and Dean Malenko to get a few words about their Best of Seven series from both of them. The series is tied at three wins each, forcing a final seventh match to determine who will get the first AGPW International Heavyweight Championship title match of 2016. They are both very cordial, heaping words of respect onto each other. However, they also both claim that they will win the match. When it seems like tempers might boil over, International Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe arrives on the scene to defuse the situation. He says that he would be honoured to defend his title against either one of them, but first he has to beat "Nature Boy" Ric Flair at War on the East Coast to not only retain his title but also become the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship. He segues that into an appeal for a couple of tag team partners for his 6-man tag team match against the Mount Rishmore of Wrestling, saying that he needs to best men on his side. To seal the deal, if they help him out tonight, he offers to upgrade the Best of Seven prize to a World Heavyweight Championship match after he beats Flair on Sunday. Both Cesaro and Dean Malenko like the sound of that and agree to team up with him in tonight's main event.

Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon come down to the ring and cut a promo about the struggles they've had since coming to AGPW two months ago. It seems like every time they enter the ring, they're being cheated out of a victory. That stops now. They want retribution against the teams that have screwed them over, so they call out the Rougeaus or "Killer" Karl Krupp and Leo Burke to come have a good old fashioned fight, right now! Unfortunately for them, both teams emerge and come to the ring. It looks like it is going to be a 4-on-2 fight until Yoshihiro Tajiri and Owen Hart, who have both had their own problems with Krupp, Burke or the Rougeaus, come to the ring to even the score. A brawl ensues. For a few short minutes, all eight men are duking it out inside and out of the ring until officials can break things up. Just as the brawl is finally contained, Earthquake shows up and plows through some officials to push Hart into the corner and then squash him into the turnbuckle with a body splash. He takes a microphone and tells us that he has a scheduled match with Hart and it starts now.

Owen Hart vs. Earthquake
Owen Hart vs. Earthquake
Hart struggles to get up and Earthquake takes full advantage of the situation to cause him plenty of damage. He works quickly with a few hard power moves and tries to finish him off quickly with an Earthquake Splash, but Hart rolls out of the way. He goes all of the way to the floor to gain some separation and try to recover. Earthquake goes to the outside and tries to send Hart into the guardrail, but he reverses the Irish whip and then gives him a running dropkick. Hart returns to the ring and Earthquake follows a few seconds later. Hart mounts a comeback that culminates with a leg-feed enzuigiri kick. Earthquake manages to just get a shoulder up on the pinfall attempt. Hart attempts to put the 400+ pounder in the sharpshooter, but he can’t turn him over and eventually gets kicked away. After a spinning heel kick, Hart climbs the turnbuckle to attempt a moonsault, but Earthquake moves. After that, he gives Hart an Earthquake Splash to get the win.
However, Earthquake isn’t done there. He decides to go for another one, but the Acadian Giant saves him by tripping him up. He pulls him out to the floor and sets him up for a chokeslam, but the Fabulous Rougeaus return and attack him. After knocking the Acadian Giant down, they talk Earthquake into finishing what he planned to do to Hart. Suddenly, Tajiri and the Vachons are back, and then Krupp and Burke return. A big 10-man brawl ensues and drags on into the commercial break. When the broadcast comes back, the brawl has ended, and Vampiro announces that a big 10-man tag team match has been added to the card for War on the East Coast! The Acadian Giant, Owen Hart, Yoshirio Tajiri and Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon will go to war with the Canadian Earthquake, “Killer” Karl Krupp, Leo Burke, Jacques & Raymond Rougeau!

Pentagon Jr. vs. Chi Chi Cruz
Pentagon Jr. has been sacrificing his opponents to his master since he entered AGPW. In November, he put both Sho Funaki and Taka Michinoku on the shelf and forced them to retire from the territory. Last week, jobber extraordinaire Barry Horowitz had his arm brutalized. This week, legendary Canadian jobber Chi Chi Cruz attempts to survive an encounter with the very dangerous Pentagon Jr. He fares better than Horowitz did last week, but his time controlling the match is short-lived. Pentagon Jr. has no fear and seems to feed off of the fear of his opponents. Pentagon Jr. toys with Cruz and as it becomes clear that he doesn’t stand a chance, a lucky desperation dropkick allows him to escape under the ropes and head for the exit. However, Pentagon Jr. isn’t happy to let his victim escape. He makes chase and catches up to Cruz. The match officially ends in a double countout, but Pentagon Jr. is the winner of the unofficial battle that he instigates in the entrance aisle, which ends with Cruz receiving a Pentagon Driver on the arena floor, followed by his arm getting ripped out of its socket!

Rey Mysterio Jr. & Ultimo Dragon vs. Bret Hart & Chris Jericho
Rey Mysterio Jr. & Ultimo Dragon vs. Bret Hart & Chris Jericho
This tag team grudge is a preview of what is to come at War on the East Coast when these two tag teams enter the ring, along with Edge & Christian and the reigning North American Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase & Alberto El Patron, in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match! Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen Rey Mysterio Jr. defeat Bret “The Hitman” Hart as well as Ultimo Dragon beat Chris Jericho in singles competition. Although they both picked up surprise victories against Hart and Jericho, Mysterio & Ultimo Dragon have ended up battered and bruised at the end of it. Hart and Jericho always ended up leaving the ring standing, while Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon – as well as Edge & Christian – were knocked out.
This contest lives up to hype. While the Hitman isn’t versed in lucha libre, he blends in seamlessly with the other three who are (see Jericho’s time in CMLL as Corazon de Leon). Hart is able to keep pace when necessary and also slows things down to help pace the fast action. Hart works on Mysterio’s leg with seated senton drops across his knees, kneebreakers and knee wrenches among other things. When Jericho is tagged into the ring, he focuses his attack on Mysterio’s back, giving him elbow drops to the lower back, a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, double underhook backbreaker and a backbreaker submission. Hart comes in and works through his familiar end game sequence with a pendulum backbreaker, an atomic drop and a Russian legsweep. However, when he goes for the elbow drop from the second rope, Mysterio rolls out of the way. He crawls towards his corner. Hart drags him away, but when he picks him up, Mysterio gets him in a small package for a long 2-count. Then, Mysterio ducks a clothesline and executes a hurricanrana with a cradle. 1…2… kick out!
Mysterio crawls to his corner. Hart catches his foot, but then Mysterio kicks him away and makes the hot tag. Hart also tags out. Jericho charges in and gets flung around with some Japanese arm drags and an enzuigiri kick. Hart comes at him, but reverses the Dragon Combo of kicks. Ultimo Dragon picks up Jericho and goes for a vertical suplex, but he slides down behind and executes a bridging German suplex! 1…2.. kick out! Jericho picks him up and lays into him with some chops and a straight kick to the abdomine. He runs to the ropes, but gets taken down with a hurricanrana. Ultimo Dragon makes the tag to Mysterio and then grabs Jericho and gives him a running Dragon Bomb, which Mysterio follows with a frog splash! 1…2… Hart makes the save. He ends up slugging it out with Ultimo Dragon.
Meanwhile, Mysterio gets Jericho hung on the middle rope. He goes for the 619, but Jericho moves out of the way. Mysterio ends up standing on the apron, but gets a corner springboard dropkick from Jericho that sends him to the floor. Outside of the ring, Ultimo Dragon gives Hart an Asai moonsault! Jericho goes to the outside and gives Mysterio a bunch of chops before whipping into the steel ring steps! Ultimo Dragon comes to attack him. Jericho complains to the referee, drawing him out of the ring to get Ultimo Dragon off of the legal man. Jericho goes to pick up Mysterio, but gets shoves into the barricade. Taking advantage of the referee distraction, Jericho grabs the ring bell and hits Mysterio over the head with it when he goes to pull him off of the barricade. He takes rolls Mysterio back into the ring, gives him a Codebreaker and pins him. 1…2…3! Bret Hart and Chris Jericho get the win, but not without using a foreign object.
