First Match: This week’s show opens with a tag team match between the North American Tag Team Champions, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Alberto El Patron and the team from the American-Canadian border cities of Detroit and Windsor, Rhino and Petey Williams. “The Man Beast” and the “Canadian Destroyer” are formidable opponents for the champions, who were last seen nearly losing their titles to Edge and Christian just three weeks ago. In this one, the challengers put up a bigger fight than expected and Williams is even able to execute the Canadian Destroyer on the Million Dollar Man. However, El Patron saves the day. After a brief tussle between “Mexico’s Greatest Export” and his opponents, Rhino lines up El Patron for the GORE! but he moves and Williams gets it! El Patron knocks Rhino silly with a running step-up enzuigiri kick, followed by a superkick while he’s down on his knees. Taking Rhino out of the picture allows DiBiase to take advantage of the earlier miscue and put Williams in the Million Dollar Dream, putting him asleep and winning his team the match.

Second Match: Owen Hart takes on Raymond Rougeau, who is one half of the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers tag team. This is a good old-fashioned Canadian style wrestling match, which features equal measures of speed and athleticism blended with crisp, technical mat-based submission holds. Both competitors are excellent ring mechanics and they prove it. Whereas Raymond’s brother Jacques didn’t fare well last week against “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Raymond does better against Hart, but only because he gets a generous assist from Jacques, who tosses Hart into the guardrail and whips him into the ring post twice before returning him to the ring for Raymond to win the match using a fisherman’s suplex.

We get a quick backstage promo featuring Edge & Christian. As they talk to Jeremy Borash, they strike a serious tone while addressing the misdeeds of their Western Canadian rivals, Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Chris Jericho, who prevented them from winning the North American Tag Team Titles three weeks ago and then attacked them at the end of last week’s show. This thing is getting increasingly intense and it has turned personal. Edge & Christian vow to get their revenge. When they finally get Hart and Jericho back in the ring with them, they’ll show the entire world why they are the best tag team of all-time.
SoCal Val is standing by with another native of Southern California. Coming straight from the 619, it’s Rey Mysterio Jr., and he’s joined by his tag team partner, Ultimo Dragon, who picked up a big victory over Chris Jericho in singles competition in last week’s main event. Mysterio tells Val that last week’s win by the Ultimo Dragon over Chris Jericho was no fluke and, next week, when Mysterio goes one-on-one against Bret “The Hitman” Hart, he acknowledges that he may be entering the ring as the underdog, but he’ll be leaving it as the winner.

Third Match: Before this match begins, Madison Rayne comes out alone. With the Canadian Ninjas standing in the ring, waiting on their opponents, Rayne announced that the Mi Pi Sexy has arrived to usher in a new era in the AGPW women’s division, one in which the best female wrestlers are Beautiful People! Then, out comes Angelina Love and Velvet Sky! The Beautiful People are here! After a solid 8-minute contest in which the Canadian Ninjas get to the brink of winning when the set up for their finisher, Angelina Love fights out of Nicole Matthews’ waistlock and then takes takes Portia Perez down with a spear. She tags in Velvet Sky and shortly thereafter they give Matthews a Makeover (Russian legsweep – bicycle kick combo). The Beautiful People are victorious in their debut.

Fourth Match: Rusev and his manager, Prince Nana, cut a pre-match promo that is heavy on anti-American rhetoric. This follows hot on the heels of Rusev’s first anti-American diatribe two weeks ago, when he ranted at the crowd in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA. He made an open challenge to any American in the building and ended up facing “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. This week, his opponent is Matt Sydal, another American-born competitor. Rusev promises to throw this filthy American out with the trash. Sydal puts up a decent flight. His high flying maneuvers are popular with the crowd, but they are not enough to stop Rusev from pummeling him. Rusev drops him with a spinning side slam and puts him in the Accolade to get the win via submission. After the match, Rusev picks him and launches high over the ropes and to the floor while shouting, “Get out of my ring you American piece of garbage!”

Jeremy Borash finds Alberto El Patron, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Virgil just about to enter a large stretch limousine to head out for the evening. Borash wants to get DiBiase and El Patron’s thoughts on how winning their match earlier tonight has enabled them to surpass Dino Bravo & Mad Dog Vachon for the longest North American Tag Team Championship title reign in AGPW history. The champions both boast about how their riches extend far beyond their deep pockets and extend into the wrestling ring, where they reign supreme. They claim that there is no other team on the planet that can take the money, power and gold away from them.
SoCal Val is joined by Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Chris Jericho. They respond to comments made earlier in the broadcast by Edge & Christian, as well as Rey Mysterio Jr. They state that Edge & Christian got what they deserved when they kept them from winning the North American Tag Team Titles and also when they gave them payback, last week, for interfering in Jericho’s match against Ultimo Dragon, who Jericho says that he would never EVER lose to in a fair contest without outsider interference. Hart says that, next week, when he wrestles Mysterio, the same act of injustice committed against Jericho won’t happen to him because Jericho will be joining him at ringside. Thus, he can concentrate on making an example out of Mysterio that once again proves why he is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

Fifth Match: In yet another non-title match featuring a current champion, the AGPW International Heavyweight Champion, Samoa Joe – who is scheduled to face Mash-Up Wrestling’s World Heavyweight Champion, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, at War on the East Coast – wrestles an old foe in the guise of “Killer” Karl Krupp. Joe is in fine form, but he loses the advantage thanks to interference from Krupp’s current tag team partner, Leo Burke, who trips him up as he is bouncing off of the ropes. This action enables Krupp to plow through Joe with a three-point stance and a charging double leg takedown, followed by several illegal closed fist punches. Krupp continues to hit Joe hard, but the Samoan Submission Machine climbs out of the hole when he reverses an Irish whip attempt and executes a Samoan drop. Joe builds his momentum back up again before Burke interferes to turn the tide once more. A little bit later, Joe regains the advantage when he is stuck in the corner and counters a charging Krupp’s attack with a St-Joe Slam. Joe continues his attack until finally lifting Krupp onto the top turnbuckle. Burke hops onto the ring apron to try to run more interference, but this time, he’s pulled down and dropped with a hard lariat by Butcher Vachon! The appearance of the Vachons draws out the Rougeaus to attack them, which in turn draws out Owen Hart to help the Vachons. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Krupp goes for a diving clothesline, but misses and then he’s put in the Coquina Clutch and forced to submit. Samoa Joe wins.

Sixth Match: Our main event features four of the best women to step foot in the ring since the beginning of the Attitude Era. This match was signed last week, following an in-ring confrontation. Trish Status still has an issue with Gail Kim and Chyna, who has aligned herself with Kim upon making her return to AGPW when she interfered in Kim and Stratus’ match at Mayhem in Montréal 2015. Last week, it looked like a trap was set for a 2-on-1 beat down, but the AGPW Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, was the unlikely hero to come to Stratus’ rescue. The match is an exciting 15-minute tag team match that sees Flair and Stratus with the early advantage. However, a whip reversal by Kim sends Stratus into the ropes, where she takes a stiff forearm shot from Chyna to the back of the head. Kim follows it up with a double knee facebreaker and pins for a 2-count. From there, Stratus ends up in the role of the face-in-peril. Kim and Chyna make frequent tags and get several 2-counts. Chyna also tries to force a submission with a half crab, but Stratus manages a rope break. Chyna waits for Stratus to get up before going for a running clothesline, only to end up getting lifted over the top rope and dumped out to the floor. The hot tag is teased, but Kim enters the ring to create a distraction, the tag is missed by the referee and Charlotte is told to return to the ring apron. Chyna tags out and Kim goes for a diving hurricanrana off the top rope, but Stratus turns it into a sit-out powerbomb! With both wrestlers crawling to their partners, Stratus finally makes the hot tag. Charlotte comes in and does a matrix evasion to duck a running clothesline from Chyna, before dropkicking her into the corner. She goes into the corner and works her over. Charlotte stays on the offensive until she gives Chyna the Natural Selection. However, she’s unable to pin her as Kim comes in and dropkicks her. Stratus runs in and tackles her with a Lou Thesz press. The referee loses control of the action for a few moments, amid all the confusion, while Kim and Stratus are brawling outside, Charlotte whips Chyna into the corner and gives her a running jumping knee lift. Kim hops onto the ring apron and makes a blind tag just before Charlotte pulls Chyna away from the corner and gives her a swinging neckbreaker. She is then caught off guard by Kim, who gives her Eat Defeat and pins her for the 1…2…3! Gail Kim and Chyna pick up the win. By scoring the pinfall over the AGPW Women’s Champion, Gail Kim will no doubt demand an opportunity to challenge the champion for her title.
