From the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Live Attendance: 9 835
The show opens with an in-ring promo and celebration from the Centre of the Universe – Edge, Christian, Test and Trish Stratus – they get major heel hit. The group from Toronto, Ontario, has come to the hostile prairies to boast about how the West was won by being conquered by the big city slickers from Toronto. The proof was when Edge defeated Bret “The Hitman” Hart to become the new International Heavyweight Champion. With current champion Edge and former champion Christian both hailing from the Centre of the Universe, there can be no doubt that it is the most powerful force in Canadian professional wrestling!
First Match: The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers bounce back after an embarrassing loss to Rhino & Petey Williams at the AGPW Summer Showdown by defeating Justin Gabriel and Matt Sydal in tag team action. They won the match with La Bombe de Rougeau on Gabriel.
Second Match: Paige defeated Jazz in singles action, forcing her to submit to the Paige Tap Out. After the match, Jazz had an in-ring meltdown. She left the ring and flipped the ring steps over, as well as threatened the timekeeper, rang the ring bell repeatedly before throwing it into the ring and then slapped Vampiro in the face when he told her to settle down.
Third Match: Cesaro defeated Johnny Devine in a relatively short match. He put him away with the Neutralizer after giving him a long Cesaro Swing. The King of Swing continues to impress as a singles competitor and sizeable Cesaro Section is spotted in the audience.
Fourth Match: Batista and Sensational Sherri get huge heel heat as they boast about putting “Macho Man” Randy Savage on the shelf and claim that Batista has ended the Macho Man’s career. Sherri says that is what you can expect you double cross the Queen! Then, Batista goes on to face Petey Williams and beats him with a Batista Bomb! Following the match, Sherri tells her Animal King to put the Canadian Destroyer out of misery, so he sets him up for another Batista Bomb, but Rhino runs out to make the save.
The next segment of the show is a pre-taped, ringside sit down interview featuring Vampiro and AGPW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair (Lucha Underground interview style). Vampiro interviews the second generation superstar about her childhood growing up as the daughter of the most decorated World Champion in wrestling history. They also talk about her relationship with her father and how he has passed on plenty of wisdom that has prepared her to blaze her own trail of greatness as a champion. They talk about how she was the first woman in AGPW to defeat Awesome Kong by pinfall or submission and what a big deal that was. Flair says that she never doubted for a second that she could do it because to beat the woman, you’ve got to be the woman, Charlotte Flair is the new woman to beat in AGPW!
Fifth Match: This week’s television main event was called on the spot, as Rey Mysterio Jr. and Ultimo Dragon come to the ring to request a rematch for the North American Tag Team Titles. They feel like they were cheated out of a chance to win the titles because “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Alberto El Patron walked out on the match just minutes into the bout. The champions come out to respond to the request, but they are joined by Rusev. It looks like a 3-on-2 beat down is about to take place until Samoa Joe arrives to even the odds. Joe recently defeated Rusev at the AGPW Summer Showdown, in a last man standing match, which was the rubber match of their summer long feud. This turns into a 6-man tag team match that goes around 20-minutes and sees the good guys beat the International Ministry of Finance when Rey Mysterio hits Ted DiBiase with a 619 that sends him right into Samoa Joe’s Coquina Clutch. DiBiase taps out to Samoa Joe’s hold as Ultimo Dragon keeps El Patron and Rusev from breaking it up with an Asai moonsault.

This week features another show-opening in-ring promo from the new International Heavyweight Champion, the “Rated R Superstar” Edge, who is once again joined by pals from the Centre of the Universe – Christian, Trish Stratus and Test. They are on their tour of Western Canada to promote the greatest city in the world and the greatest group of wrestlers in the world, which come from Toronto and not Calgary. As proof, they offer up Edge, who is from Toronto, defeating the Bret Hart, who is from Calgary, for the International Heavyweight Championship back at the AGPW Summer Showdown. This gets them major heel heat. It also brings out hometown heroes Owen Hart, Tyson Kidd and Natalya Neidhart to put a stop to their nonsense. Hart, Kidd and Neidhart promise the fans that Edge & Christian will give them a 5-second pose when they are both staring up at the arena lights after they beat them in tonight’s tag team main event match when Owen Hart & Tyson Kidd will face Edge & Christian!
First Match: The Acadian Giant picks up a victory over Leo Burke. He wins the match by disqualification when “Killer” Karl Krupp comes out and starts whipping him with his riding crop. This happened only after The Acadian Giant avoided a shot to his face by Burke and his brass knuckles and then gave him a chokeslam. Cuban Assassin rushed out to make the save.
Second Match: Rhino avoids getting hit in the head with Tyler Breeze’s selfie stick and goes on to defeat him by giving him the GORE! GORE! GORE! After the match, Batista and Sensational Sherri come to the ring to attack Rhino. Petey Williams comes out to try to help Rhino, but by this time, Tyler Breeze is back on his feet and he takes Williams down with a Beauty Shot before leaving the ring. This gives Batista the opportunity he needs to give Rhino the Batista Bomb. Sherri warns AGPW not to anger the Animal King!
Third Match: Ivelisse Vélez defeated Courtney Rush with her Desert Eagle sunset flip powerbomb. Following the match, Ivelisse reasserts her claim to being the baddest bitch on the planet and announces that she’s coming after Charlotte Flair and when she gets a match against her, she’s going to take the Women’s Championship from her.
Fourth Match: Samoa Joe defeated Taz in an ultra-competitive, super-stiff match featuring a pile of suplexes and hard hitting strikes from both men. While Taz brought the fight to Joe for 15-minutes of solid in-ring action (and a little bit of ringside brawling), Samoa Joe was able to put away the most miserable son of a bitch on the planet with a Muscle Buster followed by the Coquina Clutch.
Next up, we get a backstage interview of the North American Tag Team Champions, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Alberto El Patron, conducted by Jeremy Borash. He asks them to address the persistent rumours that they are paying a team of lobbyists and lawyers to try to prevent them from having to ever again defend their titles against the team of Rey Mysterio Jr. and Ultimo Dragon. DiBiase and El Patron acknowledge that it is no big secret that they have all of the money in the world and the best industry insiders and legal expertise that money can buy working for them. However, they deny that they are using their wealth of resources to hold onto their titles – least of all from trying to avoid title defenses against the least intimidating tag team in all of wrestling. DiBiase and El Patron claim to be proud and noble champions and they aren’t afraid to defend the gold against anyone.
Fifth Match: Although we are treated to 20-minutes of high-quality wrestling action, with Natalya Neidhart, Trish Stratus and Test all at ringside, shenanigans were bound to ensue and a controversial ending to the evening should never have been in doubt. Following a referee bump, all of the ringside players get involved. Trish gives Kidd a Chick Kick, but then gets chased to the back by Natalya. Test takes out Hart with a running big boot that knocks him down hard and out to the floor. Edge levels Kidd with a spear and Christian gives him a frog splash to win the match. The commentary team notes that Bret “The Hitman” Hart is not in the building tonight, so when Edge and Christian decide to stick it to the western Canadian fans by setting up to give Hart and Kidd con-chair-tos, it is Samoa Joe who comes to the rescue, knocking out Test, dropkicking the steel chair back into Christian’s face and scaring Edge out of the ring. Joe takes a microphone and says that he hasn’t forgotten about how Edge cheated him out of a spot in the International Heavyweight Championship match at the AGPW Summer Showdown and that now that he is the champion, Joe’s going to kill him and take his title in the process.

From the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta
Live Attendance: 13 462
First Match: Rey Mysterio Jr. and Ultimo Dragon defeat the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers in an excited show opener. The Rougeaus used underhanded tactics to get the advantage over Mysterio for most of the match before he was able to make a hot tag to Ultimo Dragon, who went on an absolute tear before finally winning the match for his team with an Asai DDT on Raymond. After the match, Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon state that even though “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Alberto El Patron are trying to work the system so that they don’t have to face them again, they won’t rest until they get another opportunity to wrestle for the North American Tag Team Titles. Then, stepping out from the shadows, Commissioner Billy Two Rivers announces that he is granting them the match that they want. At this month’s VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER, in a match that carries a no countout stipulation, Rey Mysterio Jr. and Ultimo Dragon will once again challenge “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Alberto El Patron for the North American Tag Team Titles!
The Centre of the Universe, featuring International Heavyweight Champion, the “Rated R Superstar” Edge, his best friend Christian Cage, the “Big Event” Trish Stratus and their problem solver Test, come to the ring. They have to the home base of enemy territory, to the heart of Stampede country, the hometown of the Hart Family to gloat at how the Harts are no match for them. They also have some stern words for Samoa Joe for sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Edge warns Joe that killing him won’t be so easy because when he tries to enter Edge’s world, Joe won’t be walking into PG-land, he’ll be entering a world that is Rated R. His world is more intense than anything Joe has ever experienced. Joe comes out to the ring and walks right into the middle of the Centre of the Universe, showing no fear, he tells Edge to show him what he’s got. It doesn’t take long for the 4-on-1 advantage to hurt Joe, but then Owen Hart, Tyson Kidd and Natalya Neidhart rush to the ring and even the odds. The fallout from this encounter is Samoa Joe taking on Test, with the stipulation being that if Joe wins, he will face Edge at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER. Plus, Christian Cage & Trish Stratus will take on Tyson Kidd & Natalya Neidhart in tonight’s main event!
Second Match: Samoa Joe defeated Test by using his Coquina Clutch to make him submit. He won the match despite Edge’s attempt to steal away the victory when he tried to nail Joe in the head with the International Heavyweight Championship title belt. He missed and then Joe hit Edge with a CSS enzuigiri kick. Now, Joe will face Edge at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER.
Third Match: “Killer” Karl Krupp emerged victorious over Cuban Assassin in a wicked brawl that looked like a tornado tore through ringside. In the end, Krupp gets the win only thanks to a distraction from Leo Burke that helps him give Cuban Assassin several lashings from his riding crop to weaken him up so he can fall prey to the Iron Claw. While Krupp gets the win, Burke runs off into the crowd to avoid the Acadian Giant.
Fourth Match: Gail Kim defeated Allison Danger by pinfall after she gave Danger her finished, Eat Defeat. Following the match, Gail Kim announced that she had her sights set on the Women’s Championship and that she would go through anyone to prove that she’s the top contender for the title, which prompted Ivelisse to come out and tell Kim to back down from getting any big ideas about facing Charlotte for the Women’s Championship because she had already announced that she is next in line. Kim isn’t afraid of Ivelisse and challenges her to a match next week.
Before the commercial break, Bret “The Hitman” Hart arrives in the back. He’s in the Saddledome and he doesn’t look happy. Coming back from the commercial break, the Hitman comes to the ring to announce that he is pissed off that the Centre of the Universe was able to cheat him out of the International Heavyweight Championship. Hart says his piece and in doing so states that he deserves a rematch against Edge, right now! Suddenly, Rusev and Prince Nana, of all people come to the ring, to act as foils Rusev says that Hart is powerless to demand anything because he doesn’t have a guaranteed title match contract. He calls him gutless, powerless and weak for losing the title to the Rate R Superloser (Edge) and tells Hart to do everyone a favour and retire. The war of words continues until Rusev and Prince Nana threaten Hart to leave the ring or else they will force him to leave, which leads to a physical confrontation. The brawl only ends when security is forced to separate the two.
Fifth Match: Tyson Kidd and Natalya Neidhart defeated Christian Cage and Trish Stratus in this intergender tag team match. Cage attempted to give Kidd the Unprettier, but he pushed Cage away and he bumped into Stratus, leaving him vulnerable to fall victim to Kidd’s swinging fisherman’s neckbreaker. After the match, when Kidd and Neidhart were celebrating, Cage and Stratus snuck back into the ring and caused Kidd to crumple like a ton of bricks with a surprise con-chair-to. They then threatened to do the same thing to Neidhart before Owen Hart ran in and attacked Cage. Then, Natalya dropkicked Stratus out of the ring. Once Cage and Stratus were leaving the ringside area, Neidhart checked on her husband as her uncle Owen grabbed a microphone and warned Cage to watch the back of his neck because Owen 3:16 promises to break it.

From the Save-On-Foods Centre in Victoria, British Columbia
Live Attendance: 8 735
First Match: After a solid 10-minute contest, Batista defeated Dean Malenko by pinfall following a nasty Batista Bomb. Following the match, Sensational Sherri and Batista cut an in-ring promo promising to destroy Rhino. They claim he’ll be such a mangled mess at the end of the match that even the most ardent of big game hunters would take pity on him. At VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER, Batista will prove that he is the real “Animal King” of Mash-Up Wrestling.
In our next segment, Vicious & Delicious – Christian Cage & Trish Stratus – come to the ring and cut a promo bad mouthing the Hart Family, and most notably Owen Hart and Natalya Neidhart, both of whom will be their respective opponents at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER. However, don’t get to voice their opinions completely unopposed as Owen Hart and Natalya Neidhart come out to fire unpleasantries right back at them. The segment closes with Cage and Stratus getting so angry that they try to attack Hart and Neidhart, but the Hart family members brush back the attempt much to the delight of the crowd.
Second Match: Before this match, Prince Nana announced that the IMF, on behalf of Rusev, would like to dedicate tonight’s performance and eventually victory to Bret “The Hitman” Hart. It will serve as an example of what will happen to him should he be stupid enough to ever again step in the ring against The Bulgarian Brute. Rusev defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri by submission to his dreaded Accolade. Following the match, Bret Hart interrupts Rusev and Prince Nana’s celebration by telling Rusev that he backs down from no one and challenges Rusev to do the same, telling him to show up for the fight of his life at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER.
Third Match: In a long, hard fought contest to determine who will challenge Charlotte Flair for the Women’s Championship at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER, Ivelisse emerges victorious by defeating Gail Kim by pinfall. Flair was on hand to do colour commentary with Ed Whalen and Vampiro. Ivelisse’s win came after she was able to avoid a diving cross-body block and then execute her Desert Eagle sunset flip powerbomb. The baddest bitch on the planet claims that the Women’s Champion will become her championship at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER.
Fourth Match: After a nasty 10-minute brawl, Rhino emerges victorious over Taz after he gave him the GORE! GORE! GORE! and pinned him for the victory. Rhino promises to GORE! the so-called “Animal King” in his bid to show the Mash-Up Wrestling Universe that he is the most dangerous animal in professional wrestling today.
Next up, Vampiro conducts a sit-down interview inside of the ring with Samoa Joe, who will challenge Edge for the International Heavyweight Championship at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER. They discuss Joe’s incredible success, but also his failure to win the title the first time he competed for it. Joe makes the case for why he has never felt more confident or ready to obtain the so-called ‘brass ring’ and how he feels that Edge doesn’t have the true talent that all champions require, which is why he predicts that Edge’s title reign will end in his first title defence. The “Rated R Superstar” decides to crash the party. Standing in the entrance aisle, he objects to everything that Joe says, all the while boasting about how his talents extend well beyond his wrestling abilities. He claims that his mental acumen is superior to Joe’s, which will play a significant role in him retaining his title. According to Edge, he has the smarts to manipulate any in-ring situation into his advantage. Just as he finishes saying that, Test knocks Joe off of his chair with a steel chair to the back of his shoulders and neck. Test continues to put the boots to Joe until Edge enters the ring. Test picks Joe up and holds him long enough to set him up for a spear onto a chair! The Master Manipulator strikes and gets the upper hand going into his title defence against Samoa Joe at VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER!
Fifth Match: Our spectacular 8-man tag team main event is won by the team of Ted DiBiase, Alberto El Patron, Leo Burke and “Killer” Karl Krupp. They defeated the team of Rey Mysterio Jr., Ultimo Dragon, Cuban Assassin and the Acadian Giant, when Burke stepped out of the way of a spear attempt from the Cuban Assassin and he ended up hitting Mysterio instead. El Patron promptly took advantage of the situation by putting him in the cross armbreaker and forcing him to submit. The North American Tag Team Champions, along with Burke and Krupp are riding a wave of momentum as they go into VENGEANCE IN VANCOUVER to face Mysterio & Ultimo Dragon and Cuban Assassin & the Acadian Giant, respectively.
