Petey Williams vs. Raymond Rougeau
Two weeks ago, Raymond Rougeau, and his brother Jacques, were on Titans in Windsor, Ontario, taking a lberal amount of cheap shots at Windsor (and Detroit). This week, they rip on Charlottetown for being the fake birthplace of Canada (it seems like some heel from Québec always has to say that when we come here) and calls out Petey Williams, challenging him to a match so that he can prove to the world the Williams can’t beat one of the Rougeaus when the match doesn’t happen by surprise. Sure enough, Raymond pulls off the win, but not without pulling on Williams’ tights on a school-boy roll-up. After the end of the match, Williams complains to the referee about the cheating, but when he does, the Rougeaus decide to attack him and they give him La Bombe de Rougeau! Rhino rushes out to the ring and the Rougeaus make a hasty retreat.
Official Decision: Raymond Rougeau wins by pinfall at 5:37

Paige vs. Allison Danger
Allison Danger is a powerful, stiff worker and hits Paige with a lot of high impact power moves. However, she can’t keep Paige down on the mat for longer three seconds. Paige battles back, but is surprised when Danger kicks out of the Paige-Turner. Later on, after giving Danger a scoop powerslam and pinning her for a 2-count, she applies the Paige Tap Out (inverted scorpion deathlock with a double chickenwing) to earn a submission victory.
Official Decision: Paige wins by submission at 6:24
*Commercial Break 2*
Cuban Assassin vs. “Killer” Karl Krupp
The fans in Charlottetown – the smallest town or city from where AGPW shoots its television show – are treated to a classic AGPW match up featuring two of AGPW mainstays from its glory years in the 1970s and 1980s. Normally a heel, the Cuban Assassin has turned face after getting into a feud with another AGPW icon, Leo Burke, who he defeated at Journey to Greatness 2015. “Killer” Karl Krupp, the goose-stepping, cape wearing, riding crop carrying, monocle adorned, over-the-top evil German has been mired in a tag team with Kurrgan for well over a year, but the past year has not been particularly successful for them. Krupp has chosen to break away from Kurrgan, having severed ties with him. This is a classic punch, kick, and bodyslamming brawl that eventually spills out to the floor and never makes it back into the ring. Cuban Assassin receives a back body drop on the floor. However, moments later, he reverses an Irish whip, sending Krupp into the guardrail and then spears him through the steel section of the barricade. Neither man is able to get up and make it back to the ring by the count of ten.
Official Decision: Double countout at 8:52
*Commercial Break 3*
Tyson Kidd vs. Edge
This one is an exciting, fantasy dream matchup. Tyson Kidd’s stock has risen in recent months, albeit not a whole lot. However, he has won far more often than he has lost since his tag team with Lance Storm came to an abrupt end, including getting a victory of his former tag team partner in a featured 15-minute mid-card classic at Hellfire in Halifax 2015 back in March. Edge is the Rated R Superstar. Put an emphasis on the word superstar because that is what he is. His arrival in AGPW was a shocking surprise and his huge victory at Journey to Greatness 2015, and potential career ending post-match assault have positioned Edge as a major force to be reckoned with in the main event scene. These guys put on 11-minutes of high quality wrestling that would make even the most hard to please wrestling fan happy. Although the underdog, Kidd takes Edge to the limit, including putting him in the Sharpshooter at one point. However, Edge was able to force a rope break and eventually make a comeback. Kidd made his own comeback and had Edge set up for a blockbuster, but he moved out of the way of the dive and then nailed Kidd with a spear and pinned him for the win.
The Ultimate Opportunist, then hit Kidd in the back with a chair and sets him up for a one man con-chair-to with Test pinning him down in the middle ring. Before doing it, however, he offered Bret Hart a chance to spare Kidd from a career ending injury by agreeing to face him at the AGPW Summer Showdown. Hart comes out, but before he can say anything, Rusev and Prince Nana show up and they say that Edge doesn’t deserve a match because Rusev has a guaranteed contract for a shot at the International Heavyweight Champion, which they mention he earned by beating the so-called unbeatable Samoa Joe, and they want to use to get him his match against the man he made submit two weeks ago. Hearing his name, Samoa Joe comes out and inserts himself in the argument before Commissioner Billy Two Rivers shows up to defuse the situation by announcing that next Samoa Joe, Edge and Rusev will compete in a #1 contender’s match to determine who will face Hart at the AGPW Summer Showdown, next week. Edge is elated, but decides that he is still going to cripple Kidd, but before he can do it, from out of the crowd, “Whipper” Billy Watson enters the ring and takes the chair from out of Edge’s hands. He starts brawling with Edge and Test. Christian Cage rushes down to the ring and the Bret Hart and Tyson Kidd join in. Commissioner Two Rivers calls on his officials and security personnel to break things up and they flood the ring.
Official Decision: Edge wins by pinfall at 11:19
*Commercial Break 4*
Sensational Sherri makes an unannounced appearance. She takes over the ring, wearing her Queen Sherri crystal tiara. Although she hasn’t been seen in a few months, she says that she went away to find herself a King that is fitting for this Queen. She went away to find herself someone with the perfect combination of athleticism, power, ferociousness, and just the right amount of bite to help her rule the animal kingdom as her new King. Although she doesn’t address the “Macho Man” Randy Savage directly, she appears to direct her next comment towards him, stating that her new King’s animal instincts are more powerful than any amount of Macho Madness could ever be! He is not here today, but she warns the AGPW landscape that he will be here soon and that when he arrives, nothing will ever be the same again!
*Commercial Break 5*
Awesome Kong vs. The Canadian Ninjas
Awesome Kong faces the Canadian Ninjas – Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews in a handicap match. She looks strong in the opening minutes of the match, but when Perez strikes her with a desperation superkick, the Ninjas nearly steal the win. From that moment on, through the middle portion of the match, the Ninjas control the action. Perez and Matthews do a great job of executing double team maneuvers. However, Kong battles by catching Perez on a crossbody block attempt and countering it with a fallaway slam. The amazing Awesome Kong pounds her dimunitive opponent into the mat before heaving her into her corner to let tag out so that she fight Matthews. For a few moments, Matthews manages to stay in the fight, but Kong takes over and pounds her into the mat. When she chokeslams Matthews, Perez comes in to break up the pinfall. Not long after that, she also receives a chokeslam. Awesomebombs are given out to both Ninjas and Kong makes an emphatic statement by pinning both ofher opponents by placing one hand on each of their chests and getting the referee to count to three. After she wins, she takes a microphone and poses a question to Charlotte Flair: if she can do that to two women at once, what Charlotte think she’ll do to her at the Summer Showdown?
Official Decision: Awesome Kong wins by pinfall at 10:25
*Commercial Break 6*
Matt Sydal vs. Johnny Devine
Johnny Devine has returned to AGPW after a longleave of absence. Meanwhile, Matt Sydal is competing in his first singles match after having debuted in the Canada Cup tournament. This one is a good fast-paced match with plenty of exciting high-flying moves executed by both wrestlers. The main theme of this match appears to be back flips or moonsaults. Devine executes a moonsault from the top turnbuckle. Sydal executes a standing moonsault. Devine executes a springboard moonsault reverse DDT. Sydal executes a springboard corkscrew moonsault. In the end, it isn’t a moonsault that wins the match, but a reverse moonsault, so to speak. Sydal hits the Shooting Sydal Press and collects a 3-count pinfall to earn the win.
Official Decision: Matt Sydal wins by pinfall at 6:43
*Commercial Break 7*
Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Alberto El Patron
This match has been over a month in the making. Rey Mysterio Jr. has felt that Alberto El Patron cost him an opportunity to win the first ever Canada Cup tournament when they were randomly assigned as tag team partners in the tournament’s early rounds and he turned on him by giving him a superkick in the middle of a match. Two weeks ago, Mysterio teamed up with Samoa Joe and Bret Hart to face the entire IMF in 6-man tag team action, but the IMF won the match. This is a main event that would easily fill stadiums 10-times the size of this arena in Mexico. The small capacity crowd in the birthplace of Canada is treated to an excellent lucha libre contest with plenty of exciting high flying moves. In the end, El Patron signals for the cross armbreaker, but when he approaches Mysterio for the set up, he receives a drop toehold flinging him across the middle rope. Ted DiBiase creates a distraction while Virgil stops Mysterio from executing the 619. Virgil tries to do some damage to him, but Mysterio gives him a wheelbarrow bodyscissors transitioned into a bulldog. When he gets up, he sees El Patron coming at him and narrowly avoids a superkick attempt and then pulls him into a small package pin, which the referee turns around at the right moment to see. 1…2…3! Mysterio gets the win, but then gets wacked with a North American Tag Team title belt by Ted DiBiase. The champions and Virgil stomp on him as a group until Ultimo Dragon shows up and quickly clears the ring. At the end of the show, with the IMF sharing a laugh over what they did to Mysterio, Commissioner Billy Two Rivers makes a surprise appearance and says that because Mysterio won the match, he and a partner of his choice have been granted a shot at the North American Tag Team Titles at AGPW’s Summer Showdown. As Mysterio is being helped up by Ultimo Dragon, he takes a microphone and reveals that his choice for a tag team partner is none other than the Ultimo Dragon!
Official Decision: Rey Mysterio Jr. wins by pinfall at 11:50
