Ricochet vs. Kenny Omega
Ricochet was definitely the more brash going into this match, showing Omega no respect, while Omega seemed to really thrive off the crowd here. This match was a perfect opener, as it was of moderate length but of overwhelming excitement, as these two world class and world traveled athletes put on a great, high octane showing. In the end, Ricochet would manage to reverse Omega's Croyt's Wrath, rolling him up and holding the tights to steal the victory! Ricochet looks very pleased with himself, but these fans are booing the Kentucky native all the way to the back!
OI4K: Dave Crist & Jake Crist vs. reDRagon: Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish
The brothers Crist are very formidable, but reDRagon are perhaps the most hard hitting and polished tag team on the planet at this very moment. The exchanges here were fast, crisp, and the match was worked very stiff, but all of that only worked further into the favor of reDRagon as the match stretched on. In the end, after a chaotic display of highspot madness from all four men, O'Reilly would manage to duck a high Roundhouse Kick from Jake Crist, leaving him open to a Leaping Roundhouse Kick from Fish, which lead to O'Reilly grabbing Jake and lifting him, setting him up for reDRagon's tag team finisher, Chasing the Dragon! In the end, O'Reilly would make the cover and that was all she wrote.
"Lonesome" Jay Bradley vs. "The Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson
Dickinson knew he would have to attack the veteran Bradley early and tried to make this an all out brawl. Bradley showed his toughness in withstanding the martial arts prowess and general viciousness of the "Dirty Daddy", and then hit some big offense of his own. Bradley would try to end the match with a Powerbomb later, but Dickinson showed his resolve in kicking out. Dickinson would manage to catch Bradley with a mule kick later, and delivered a huge German Suplex, but would only get a two on Bradley! Finally, Bradley would get the upper hand and then try for his Boomstick finisher, but Dickinson would duck the impact and catch Bradley with a Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick, followed by another massive German Suplex, this time bridging, and it was all over! Chris Dickinson managed to get the win, but the fans were split on it.
Delirious vs. Chuck Taylor vs. Jimmy Jacobs
Very humorous and chaotic match here, which saw Delirious really win over the crowd. The fans were firmly behind Delirious, but the devious Taylor and villainous Jacobs would not give him an easy night by any means, and gave the fans plenty to complain about. Delirious thought he finally had the match won over Chuck Taylor with his Bizarro Driver, hooking the leg, when nearly out of nowhere flew Jacobs with a Senton Backsplash, crushing Delirious! Jacobs would then pin Taylor himself, who was sandwiched under that impact, and it was all over! Jacobs gets the win and Delirious can't believe it, going on a rampage on the outside in his state of insanity!
Jay Briscoe vs. Roderick Strong
Briscoe and Strong would put on a very violent, cringe worthy display here, which saw these two fight all over the arena, and these fans loved this! There isn't much pretty about Jay Briscoe's offense, but it sure is effective, as he would use anything not nailed down to assault Strong, while Strong used his impressive array of chops, kicks, and backbreakers to put a hurting on the star from Delaware. Briscoe would get desperate near the end, unable to find a way to keep Strong down, and would try to bring a chair into the ring. Strong would manage to catch Briscoe with a Sick Kick to the chair, knocking him for a loop! Strong then unfolded the chair, setting it up in the ring, and then hit a variation of his End of Heartache finisher onto the seat and back of the chair, perhaps truly breaking Briscoe's back in the process! The fans would chant various positive and astonished things as Strong made the cover and got the pinfall!
Austin Aries & Jerry Lynn vs. Homicide & Brian Kendrick
Homicide would find an unlikely partner in Brian Kendrick tonight, as he seemed to be sporting a more sinister attitude and wrestled a very punishing and unorthodox style throughout. The match itself was wild and violent, as tables, ladders, and chairs were all brought into the fold, even though this was not advertised to be a TLC match! At one point, Aries would leap off the top and actually send Homicide through a table with an elbow to the outside, getting a huge pop from the crowd! Kendrick would take the sickest bump of the night, as Lynn would win a back and forth struggle on top of a ladder and pull him over the top, drilling him onto the mat with a Cradle Piledriver off the ladder! Kendrick was out of the match from there, and after a sequence where Aries and Lynn, two previous victims of Homicide's wrath in the last two shows, took turns bashing Homicide with chairs, Lynn and Aries would perform a Spike Cradle Piledriver onto a chair on Homicide, and that's it! Lynn would make the cover, and the fans would cheer very loudly! While this was a great victory, one has to think we probably haven't heard the last of Homicide yet.
