Christian Cage and Trish Stratus come to the ring, accompanied by Test. They are in Chris Jericho’s hometown, so naturally, they brag about how Cage got revenge against Jericho for embarrassing Stratus during last week’s Highlight Reel by eliminating him from Rocky Mountain Warfare – without once mentioning the fact that Edge surprised the Mash-Up Wrestling Universe by spearing him. Recognizing that fans may be wondering what Test is doing with them, they allow Test a moment to say that he’s decided to move home to Toronto because he goes where the money is, and right night, the money is taking him home to work for Cage and Stratus as a problem solver. Speaking of solving problems, Cage and Stratus have a major problem with “Macho Man” Randy Savage and AJ Lee for costing Cage the Rocky Mountain Warfare match and the opportunity to face Mash-Up World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk at JOURNEY TO GREATNESS 2015.
The fans erupt as their hometown hero, Chris Jericho walks out near the entrance set and announces that Cage and Stratus have another problem they need to solve: the Y2J problem! However, he knows it isn’t a problem they can solve all on their own. After all, Cage needed the help of his best friend, Edge, to eliminate him from Rocky Mountain Warfare. Cage claims to know nothing about what Jericho is talking about, and says that he’s proven himself to be the only vitamin in Vitamin C. Jericho challenges Cage to prove it just one more time by making a mockery of him in front of his hometown, which is a preposition too inviting to reject. Cage agrees and tells Jericho to be careful of what he wishes for because it will only lead to him becoming nothing by an absolute mockery.
It’s Chris Jericho vs. Christian Cage, tonight!

The British Bulldogs vs. The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers
Unapologetically pro-American, the Rougeaus wave their tiny novelty US flags to the ring and cut a pro designed to get cheap heat by congratulating the Anaheim Ducks for sweeping the Winnipeg Jets in the first round of the NHL playoffs, four games to nil. While they are all smiles about that, it is the fans in attendance who are all smiles by the end of the match when the British Bulldogs prove that they can beat the Rougeaus just as easily when it is 2-on-2 compared to when they were in opposite corners of the SPRING SLAUGHTER 10-man tag team main event match. Davey Boy Smith gives Raymond Rougeau a running powerslam, then tags in the Dynamite Kid, who executes a diving headbutt from the top rope to finish him off.
Official Decision: The British Bulldogs win by pinfall at 8:05
The British Bulldogs get an important win and move up the tag team ranks!
*Commercial Break 2*
Steve Corino comes out to the ring to cut a promo. He tells the fans that he is extremely happy to be back in his hometown of Winnipeg because he wants to tell them how much better his life has been since he moved away and tells the fans in attendance that they’ll never amount to anything until they leave Winnipeg and Manitoba. The Cuban Assassin comes to the ring as an unlikely hero. He grunts into the microphone and then hits Corino in the head with it. The Cuban Assassin throws Corino out of the ring and proceeds to beat the crap out of him. He throws him all over ringside, before taking him back into the ring, where a referee is now standing by to make it an official wrestling match.
Cuban Assassin vs. Steve Corino
Steve Corino like hell for Cuban Assassin, who seems to be turning his fortunes in the ring from bad to good. Corino mounts a short-lived comeback, but it ultimately falls short, as the Cuban Assassin regains control of the match by blocking an Old School Kick attempt and then dropping Corino onto his head with an implant DDT. Cuban Assassin applies a crossface crippler to earn the submission victory. After the match, Cuban Assassin hands Lord Alfred Hayes a hand written note to read on air. He wishes to tell Leo Burke that his day of reckoning is coming.
Official Decision: Cuban Assassin wins by submission at 5:17
Cuban Assassin beats the unpopular Steve Corino and has a bone to pick
with Leo Burke for knocking him out of Rocky Mountain Warfare.
*Commercial Break 3*
Ultimo Dragon vs. “Killer” Karl Krupp
Ultimo Dragon jumps up to an early advantage thanks to his speed and mobility, but “Killer” Karl Krupp takes over the middle portion of the match when he turns a hurricanrana attempt into a powerbomb. Krupp takes over with his bruising style of offense. He uses classic brawler moves, including punches, kicks, clotheslines and bodyslams. After he back body drops Ultimo Dragon to the outside, Krupp goes out to inflict some more damage, but a whip reversal sends him into the ring steps and then an Asai moonsault levels the playing field for the Ultimo Dragon. Not long after returning to the ring, Ultimo Dragon executes an Asai DDT to win the match.
Official Decision: Ultimato Dragon wins by pinfall at 9:45
Ultimo Dragon continues his winning ways with a big win over “Killer” Karl Krupp.
While Ultimo Dragon is celebrating his win, Kurrgan comes down to the ring and attacks Ultimo Dragon. He gives Ultimo Dragon a vicious beating, culminating in a chokeslam and the Kurrgan Claw! The angry “Acadian Giant” and “Killer” Karl Krupp celebrate their dismantling of the amazing Ultimo Dragon.
“Killer” Karl Krupp and the “Acadian Giant” Kurrgan destroy Ultimo Dragon in a post-match beatdown!
*Commercial Break 4*
Chris Jericho vs. Christian
Chris Jericho and Christian Cage have their second match in as many weeks. Both guys get a chance to look good on offense, but the hometown boy feeds off of the energy of the crowd to dominate at different times in the match, while Cage gets his advantages with copious amounts of help from Trish Stratus and Test. The end of the match comes when Jericho gives Cage the Codebreaker. Test runs into the ring to attack, but Jericho simply guides him over the ropes and back out to the floor. However, after that, Edge takes Jericho down with a spear, giving him the win via disqualification. Unlike at last week’s Titans of Grand Prix, Edge sticks around to give Jericho a beating. Trish Stratus slides a pair of chairs into the ring for Edge and Christian, who give Jericho a wicked Con-chair-to! They follow that up with an Unprettier and an Impaler DDT onto chairs before the ring fills with officials who can stop the assault from going any further. Trainers and EMTs are called out to the ring to check on Jericho, who is unresponsive and unable to leave under his own power.
Official Decision: Chris Jericho wins by disqualification at 11:38
Chris Jericho leaves the ring on a stretcher and is taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
*Commercial Break 5*
Christian Cage, Edge, Trish Stratus and Test are the Centre of the Universe!
Following the commercial break, SoCal Val finds Edge, Christian, Trish and Test together in the backstage area. The “Rated R Superstar” announces his arrival in AGPW and declares that he and his best friend, Christian, are back together once again to make AGPW totally reek of awesomeness. They’re joined by Christian’s girlfriend, Trish Stratus, and their problem solver, Test. The group also references the fact that their common hometown heritage has brought them together, proudly making mention of Toronto as the “Centre of the Universe,” which is a derisive nickname used to describe Toronto in other parts of the country. This group proudly coins themselves the “Centre of the Universe” of Mash-Up Wrestling and warns that anyone getting in their way of fame and fortune will be trampled on, just like Chris Jericho did tonight!
Rusev is the only Super Athlete in the Mash-Up Wrestling Universe!
Jeremy Borash is standing by with Rusev and Prince Nana of the International Ministry of Finance (IMF). Borash wants to get a few words from them about Rusev’s record setting performance in last week’s Rocky Mountain Warfare match, where he led the way with five and a half eliminations and set the match’s endurance record at over 40-minutes. Nana talks up his star grappler and touts these accolades as well as the fact that it took three men to hit their finishers on Rusev to finally eliminate him as proof that is the only Super Athlete in the Mash-Up Wrestling Universe! He goes on to say that will set new records and shatter old ones because there is no one like the Bulgarian Brute. He is incomparable. Rusev says that no one compares to him because, compared to him, his competition is weak. All of his opponents in Rocky Mountain Warfare were weak. Even the odds on favourite, the virtually unbeatable, Samoa Joe was weak and he proved it when he eliminated him in Rocky Mountain Warfare. So, Prince Nana says, everyone should consider him the favourite in every match because no one can match the superior qualities and abilities of the Super Athlete, Rusev!
*Commercial Break 6*
Kung Funaki vs. Tyler Breeze
Tyler Breeze wins his debut singles match by avoiding Kung Funaki’s Crane Kick and taking him down with his Beauty Shot (a jumping spinning heel kick). Prince Pretty begins his AGPW career with a quick victory and promises more to come.
Official Decision: Tyler Breeze wins by pinfall at 4:26
Tyler Breeze opens an era of gorgeousness in AGPW with a win in his debut.
*Commercial Break 7*
Women’s Championship Title Match
Awesome Kong vs. Paige
Awesome Kong vs. Paige
Paige proves herself to be a tough challenge for Awesome Kong. She shows a lot of heart and fights back from more than one extended period of punishment. However, each time she mounts a comeback, Awesome Kong is quick to shut it down and regain control of the match. Near the end of the match, Paige counters an Awesome Bomb with a float over sunset flip, but only gets a 2-count. After that, she catches Kong with a side kick to the abdomine and then executes a Paige Turner, but that fails to win her the match. In the end, the Women’s Champion retains her title after executing a chokeslam and an Awesome Splash in an excellent television main event. Is there anyone who can unseat the 4-time Women’s Champion?
Official Decision: Awesome Kong wins by pinfall at 12:40
Awesome Kong is a truly dominant champion!
