LIVE FROM THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK
The show opens on this night again with Joey Styles (2000) standing in the ring, and he's eager to welcome this packed house to the second event to be promoted by Intense Championship Wrestling! The fans begin chanting for Styles, for the promotion, and various other chants are trying to be started, and Joey can't help but just soak it in.
He is interrupted shortly after this introduction though by RICK RUDE (1997), who gets a huge pop!
"The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey (2011)
versus
LuFisto (2013)
He is interrupted shortly after this introduction though by RICK RUDE (1997), who gets a huge pop!
Rude hits the ring and takes the microphone from Styles. He says tonight, two of the best big men to ever hit a ring go head to head for the first time, and he knows it's going to be nothing but carnage for these people to eat up! He says being the commissioner of such a great, forward thinking promotion is an honor, even if they do promote shows in front of fat, out of shape slobs like the people of Manhattan! This turns the tides, as Rude starts to get boos here, but he doesn't care. He says he's not here to make friends, he never has been, but he's here to make sure these fans, as ungrateful and unworthy as they may be, get the best damn show on the planet! He goes on to say that the first show was a success, but he's looking forward to bigger, better things in the future, as we look towards crowning a champion! He says that alone should be motivation tonight, as he declares to the roster...
"IMPRESS ME! Hit my music!"
Rude heads out, throwing the mic as he does, and Joel Gertner (1995) scrambles to grab it as Rude leaves to mixed reactions now, showing his signature smugness and bad attitude despite letting the fans know he's actually got their interests in mind. Gertner gets his poise and he begins to introduce the first combatants of the evening.
Vampiro (1999) and La Parka (1997)
versus
2 Cold Scorpio (1996) and Kid Kash (2004)

Vampiro (1999) and La Parka (1997)
versus
2 Cold Scorpio (1996) and Kid Kash (2004)
Vampiro and La Parka would sneak attack Kash and Scorpio upon their intro, hitting them with chairs and then knocking them from pillar to post before sending them into the ring to officially start this match. The match was more of a "tornado" match, rather than a tag team match, as there never really was a tag made. From the early ambush, the fans knew who to cheer, and Scorpio and Kash were able to put on a good show from the fans, even after taking a good amount of punishment. Vampiro looked like he might have the match won with a Nail in the Coffin onto a trashcan, smashing Scorpio hard, but Kash would spring in with a Moonsault to break things up, and that began a change of the tides. Parka would use his size to overwhelm Kash and then headed up top with a chair, trying to hit a Moonsault while holding the chair to his chest, but Kash moved and the luchadore crashed and burned! Kash would position the chair, lifting La Parka and planting him with a Dead Level brainbuster on the chair, which sent La Parka sort of tumbling half conscious out of the ring. Vampiro would come at Kash, hitting a series of shoot kicks and then trying a spin kick, but Kash ducks it and catches Vampiro with an Enzuigiri to stagger him. Scorpio makes his way back up and delivers a Superkick to the staggering Canadian luchadore, sending him down! Kash holds his feet and Scorpio heads up, and he's off the top with the 450 Splash! Kash holds off La Parka from trying to reenter the ring, and Kash and Scorpio win to give the fans a nice start with a babyface victory!
Backstage, we see Mike Awesome standing in, and he goes on a loud tirade about how he's ready to break some backs tonight and ready to prove he's the best big man in the business! He says Vader might be a legend, and he's beat a lot of tough guys, but he sure as Hell ain't AWESOME, and tonight, he finds out what Awesome is all about!

We head back to ringside, where Joey Styles sends things back to Gertner in the ring, who's ready to introduce the next competitors. This time, we're getting some ladies in competition!
"The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey (2011)
versus
LuFisto (2013)
The Quebecois, LuFisto, comes out the fan favorite with her bubbly personality and mannerisms, but it can be a little deceiving. LuFisto is one of the toughest and most renowned hardcore competitors, as well as technicians and strikers, in women's wrestling, but she's going up against one of the best women to ever lace of the up the boots in SDR. Del Rey and LuFisto are both prideful and want to play a game of human chess early, but the fans turn on them somewhat, with chants of "BORING!" rising up, while other fans chant against the rude members of the audience and cheer on the scientific action. Del Rey becomes frustrated with the skills and poise of LuFisto, so she tries to take things to the outside, but it is clear LuFisto is probably more comfortable in this element than "The Queen". LuFisto is able to actually counter Del Rey and send her into the crowd, where she leaps out onto her and wipes out a row of chairs in the process! Back in the ring, LuFisto has Del Rey down and heads up top, coming off the ropes with her Diving Star headbutt, but Del Rey kicks out at about two and a half, and LuFisto can't believe it. LuFisto lifts up Del Rey and tries to get her into a Burning Hammer, but Del Rey counters, reversing and trying to pull down LuFisto into the LeBell Lock, but LuFisto counters. Back up, LuFisto and Del Rey trade counters and take overs, each one looking to hit something, but neither are able to come up with much so they got to trading blows. Del Rey is staggered by some stiff elbows from LuFisto, but manages to give her a staggering receipt, laying into her with a straight kick to the face, followed by a Bridging German Suplex for a two count! Sara Del Rey is slow to get up, but not as slow as LuFisto, who tries to get up with hands up to defend herself. Del Rey is able to break this facade, headbutting LuFisto and then grabbing her arms, trying for a Tiger Suplex, but LuFisto shocks her, breaking free and rolling her up in an Inverted Jacknife Hold, but only a two count! LuFisto quickly attempts to lock on her Konnichiwa-Goodnite choke, but Del Rey escapes, passing through her legs and then showing her strength, dead lifting LuFisto up with another Bridging German Suplex, but still just a two, but Del Rey transitions it, and she has on the LeBell Lock! LuFisto struggles, but she is just too worn and can't fight for long, having to tap and the fans applaud the efforts of both ladies on this night!
"The Belfast Bruiser" Fit Finlay (1996)
versus
"The Callihan Death Machine" Sami Callihan (2012)
"The Belfast Bruiser" Fit Finlay (1996)
versus
"The Callihan Death Machine" Sami Callihan (2012)
These are two ugly, mean individuals, who both love to get physical in that ring. Finlay would use his superior experience early on to catch Callihan off guard and then lay into him with a lot of grounded, punishing offense, but Callihan seemed to only to gain more and more resolve as the punishment ensued. Callihan would manage to get out of the ring and baited Finlay to the outside, where he whacked the Northern Irishman with a the ring bell across the head! Finaly was knocked for a loop there, but it didn't stop, as Callihan would grab a chair from the audience and whack him to the back, followed by grabbing a piece of nylon from the apron and choking Finlay with it! Finlay would manage to mule kick Callihan before grabbing him and plowing him head first into the turnpost, busting the Ohio native wide open! Finaly would grab the chair Callihan used on him and sent a shot into his ribs, before blasting him to the spine with it! From there, Finlay took things back into the ring and delivered a series of knee drops, followed by a double foot stomp to the bleeding head of Callihan, attempting a cover but only a ONE COUNT! Callihan grimaces under the blood, but he yells out, wanting MORE! Finlay smiles and sends rapid fire fists into his forehead before lifting him up, trying for a scoop slam, but Callihan reverses it and hits a Back Suplex! Callihan is up as Finlay sits up, dazed, and he runs off the ropes and hits a Sliding Lariat, but Finlay manages to kick out at one, not wanting to give the kid the satisfaction of even a two count. Both men stand up, and they begin trading straight fists and slaps in the middle of the ring, and it's Callihan who ends up stumbling first, and Finlay homes in and takes advantage, landing a European uppercut and then lifting up Callihan, hitting a Rolling Fireman's Carry, followed by a big Running Senton, but he only gets a two count on the cover! Finlay calls for the end and tries to scoop up Callihan again, but Callihan once again reverses, this time delivering a Double Axe Handle smash to the back of Finlay's head and then running off the ropes, delivering a big Lariat! Callihan is too stunned to try for a pin, and Finlay manages to get up anyway, but he sees him coming up and acts, delivering another Lariat to the back of his head! Callihan makes a sloppy looking cover, and only gets a short two count for it. He calls for the end, and he'll be looking for the Headlock Driver here. Callihan pulls up Finlay by his mullet and locks him in, and he's trying for it, but Finlay slips out, grabbing Callihan's wrist and then spinning him, and delivers a clothesline as he spins, taking him down, but he doesn't let go of the wrist! Finlay pulls him up, and he blasts him with a headbutt, and then another clothesline, but he's still not done! Finlay pulls him up, and this time, tilt-to-whirls him into position and he drops down, nailing the Tombstone Piledriver! Callihan is out cold and Finlay makes a professional cover, his elbow lodged in Callihan's eye socket as he hooks the leg, and it's all over! Finlay wins, but what a fight!
Backstage, we see Ron "The Truth" Killings standing in and he has some words for his opponent tonight. He says Ken Shamrock might call himself the "World's Dangerous Man", but Killings says he has no idea what danger is. He says, as a black man, he's had to overcome true danger his whole life, and that's made him tough, that's made him smart in a way Ken Shamrock knows nothing about, and tonight, he's not sweating Ken Shamrock, Ken Shamrock's going to learn what danger is all about! He's going to find out that when it comes to Ron Killings, "The Truth" hurts!

We go back to out to the ring, where we see the intense beginnings of Ken Shamrock's entrance and Joel Gertner proceeds with the introductions.
"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock (1997)
versus
Ron "The Truth" Killings (2002)
"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock (1997)
versus
Ron "The Truth" Killings (2002)
Killings had some big words before this match, and you bet Shamrock heard it before he came out. Killings would rush in early and "The Truth" tries for a take down, but Shamrock counters and executes a waist lock throw on Killings, whipping him like a rag doll over to the ropes! From there Shamrock proceeds to lay into Killings with knees, kicks, and then punches to his ribs as he has him back up on the ropes. Killings is smart enough to duck a high left hook, however, and gets behind Shamrock, catching with a big jumping spin kick as he turns to send the California native through the ropes and out of the ring! Killings then gets his footing, holding his ribs, but he sees an opening and flies to the outside, wiping out Shamrock on the floor with a dive! Killings sends Shamrock back into the ring after some stomps and clubbing blows, heading up top. Shamrock stumbles to his feet and Killings catches him coming off the top with a Missile Dropkick, but only gets a two count! Killings begins degrading the referee, claiming he is a racist, but that's a mistake. He took his eye off of Shamrock and paid for it, as he turns around and Shamrock is up and ready, sending multiple rights and lefts into his midsection before whipping him into the corner and connecting with a clothesline! Shamrock then grabs him, delivering a Side Belly to Belly Suplex and he yells out, calling for the end! Ankle Lock! Killings taps nearly immediately and this match is over!
Shamrock celebrates in the corners after the win, but Killings is obviously upset. He runs and jumps, kicking Shamrock to the back as he stands of the middle turnbuckle, and that sends him tumbling to the floor! On the outside, Killings exposes the floor and then lifts up Shamrock, delivering the Truth Conviction on the concrete, smashing his face first hard! Shamrock gets the win, but "The Truth" has sent a big message to the ICW locker room about what he is willing to do to get recognized.
We then head backstage, where we see Big Van Vader huffing and snorting as he flexes his muscle. He says Mike Awesome thinks he is "awesome", but he has never felt the power of the "Mastadon" and he will be crushed for his arrogance! Vader says he is here to destroy!

Back at ringside, we are awaiting our next competitors, and Joey Styles says this one should be a wild one!
Diamond Dallas Page (1997) with Kimberly Page (1997)
versus
Justin Credible (1999) with "The World's Sexiest Man" Jason Knight (1999)
Diamond Dallas Page (1997) with Kimberly Page (1997)
versus
Justin Credible (1999) with "The World's Sexiest Man" Jason Knight (1999)
Credible doesn't waste any time swinging with his Singapore cain, and Knight wastes no time trying to harass Kimberly. DDP manages to catch Credible with a series of punches, followed by a Discus Clothesline to send him out of the ring, and then he's after that sleaze ball Jason on the outside! Jason puts up his hands, pleading with DDP, but it's just a ploy, as up from behind comes credible to hit Page in the back with a chair! Credible tosses the chair into the ring and proceeds to try to lay a beat down on Page with his hands, but Page catches him with a big low blow, not ashamed to take the low road as the fans cheer him on! Page manages to grab Credible and hit a Russian Legsweep into the guard rail to really cause some damage before getting things back into the ring. Page heads up to the top rope and he looks like he's going for a Flying Clothesline, but Credible shocks everyone, especially DDP, as he counters with a Superkick in mid-air, and Kimberly covers her mouth in horror! Styles is all high pitched, thinking it's over, but DDP shows his fight by kicking out at two, not quite done yet. Credible goes for his Singapore cain and he measures up Page, trying to whack him again as he gets up, but Page side steps it and comes off the ropes, hitting a Flying Shoulder Tackle to take down Credible! Page hits an Inverted Atomic Drop, followed by a clothesline, and then he grabs the chair Credible through into the ring. Jason hops up on the apron, trying to argue with the referee, but Kimberly comes up behind him and this time she hits a low blow, sending the conceded narcissist falling from apron holding his jewels as the fans cheer her on with wild chants and cat calls, and she soaks it in! Page proceeds to hit Credible in the gut with the chair and then he lifts him up into position, planting him right on the chair with the Diamond Clash! Page goes to cover, hooking the near leg, but Credible is too close to the ropes and gets a foot on them, breaking what would surely be a three count up at just two. Page gets up and he signals, throwing up the diamond, and he's calling for the Diamond Cutter! Credible staggers up, and DDP tries to grab him, but Credible reverses, attempting a Superkick, but Page catches it and spins him, grabbing his arms and trying to pull him over into a Backslide, but Credible reverses with a mule kick! Page is hurt and Credible grabs the Singapore cain and whacks him, splintering it as Page just stands, hobbling and shuffling his feet, the lights completely knocked out of him, or so it seems! Credible kicks him and pulls him in, delivering a big Implant DDT, but everyone is shocked as he only gets a two on the cover, and one has to wonder what it will take to keep down DDP! Credible has some ideas, and heads to the outside, where he grabs a table and sets it up. From there, DDP has gotten to his feet, but barely and Credible grabs him, pulling him to the apron. Credible scoops him up, and he's looking for That's Incredible here off the apron and through the table, but NO! DDP reverses it! Credible turns and DDP ducks down, grabbing him up and he takes him over and backwards with a Samoan Drop, and both men fall to the floor, but Credible gets the worst of it, crashing through the table as the fans cheer on this wild violence! Joey Styles can only say, "I told ya so!" DDP manages to get Credible back into the ring and covers, but only a two count! DDP lifts up Credible and tries for the Diamond Cutter again, but Credible reverses it with a School Boy roll through right into a Kneeling Superkick! Credible falls backwards, thinking he has it, but DDP takes a page from his book, getting a boot on the rope to break the count! He just won't die! Credible says, "THAT'S IT!" and lifts DDP, going for That's Incredible again, but again DDP reverses, and again he gets him up on his shoulders, but this time he drops him into the DIAMOND CUTTER! CREDIBLE JUST FELT THE BANG, AND IT'S OVER! DDP just lays back on his prone body, counting the fall with his fingers, and he's done it! The fans are loving it!
Backstage, we see the Briscoe Brothers, Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe! They are ready for battle tonight against the Eliminators, and say that they know them boys like to go crazy, but their about to get a fight they're are never gonna forget!

We go back to the ring, where Joel Gertner is introducing the next two tag teams to compete as Styles explains that this will be one of the most intense tag team battles maybe ever in the sports long history, as neither one of these teams knows the meaning of the word "quit" and are probably all clinically insane!
The Eliminators (Perry Saturn and John Kronus) (1997)
versus
The Briscoe Brothers (Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe) (2008)
The Eliminators (Perry Saturn and John Kronus) (1997)
versus
The Briscoe Brothers (Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe) (2008)
These two teams are very experienced and very exciting, and it was hard for the fans to know who to get behind. Styles went on to say it's one of those matches you just have to sit back and enjoy, and it certainly was that! The Eliminators had the power and size, but it was clear the Briscoes were just that much faster, so even as the Eliminators would try to cut them off, the Briscoes would continually find ways to tag in and stay in the match. Eventually things spilled out of the ring, and we had some one upping going on, as Saturn would hit a Sit-Out Springboard Moonsault to the outside, and Mark would end delivering a huge Shooting Star Plancha, getting a big reaction from everyone! Back in the ring, Kronus would manage to get Jay in the corner and hit his Cartwheel Backflip Elbow, followed by a Powerbomb, but only got a two count as Mark flew in with a Springboard Elbowdrop to break things up! Saturn would send Jay out of the ring with a big running Savate Kick, and then Kronus and Saturn would lay into Mark with a series of kicks, followed by a Pumphandle Suplex from Saturn, but only for a two count! Jay would come back in with fists a blazing, allowing Mark to regain composure. From there, Mark would manage to get up top as the Eliminators overwhelmed Jay, catching Kronus with a Front Missile Dropkick that sent him flying under the ropes and out of the ring! They would go on to hit a Crucifix Bomb/Neckbreaker combo on Saturn, but Saturn would kick out at two! Mark would see Kronus pulling himself up on the outside and thought he'd fly out again, heading up top, but the madman would see it coming and grabbed a chair from ringside, throwing it as hard as he could and connecting with Mark's head, sending him flying to the floor! Back inside, Jay and Saturn would struggle, but Jay would kick him and try to hook him in for the J-Driller, only to have Kronus come in from behind and grab his arms, taking him over with a Dragon Suplex that sent him right on top of his head! Saturn and Kronus then psyche each other up, calling for it, then pull Jay to the center of the ring... TOTAL ELIMINATION! Kronus covers and Saturn baseball slides, taking down Mark on the outside, and it's all over! The Eliminators win, but not without one Hell of a fight that left these fans on their feet, applauding all four men as they showed great effort tonight!
Mike Awesome (1999)
versus
Big Van Vader (1994)
Mike Awesome (1999)
versus
Big Van Vader (1994)
Two very big, very physical competitors went into battle here, and these fans were very amped up for this. Vader was looking for more of a brawl, while Awesome had a clear speed advantage and has impressive agility for his size. Vader would manage to make this his match early, walloping Awesome with huge forearms and punches early, backing him into the corner and punishing him before running in and crushing him with a splash. Vader would deliver a big Lariat and would attempt a cover, but only a short two would come of it. Vader would proceed to hit a Body Splash to Awesome, trying for a cover again, but would only get a slightly longer two count for his troubles. Vader would look to go back on the striking assault, backing Awesome up into the ropes again with his fists and hammer blows, but would back off and look to hit something bigger. Vader runs at Awesome, looking for maybe another Lariat, but Awesome low bridges, sending Vader out to the floor. From there, Awesome manages to get the momentum on his side, running and leaping, hitting a huge dive to get the fans cheering big time! Awesome would continue to land some heavy blows from there, shaking up Vader before sending him back into the ring. Awesome would come off the top, hitting his Awesome Splash and thinking he had the match won, but Vader would power out at two, showing he was far from done! These two would exchange blows further, but Vader would manage to catch Awesome coming and hit a Spinning Backfist to stagger him, only to have Awesome try to answer back with a Lariat, but Vader would remain standing! Awesome would hit another, but still Vader stood! Awesome would try for a third, but Vader would duck it and grab Awesome, taking him over with a German Suplex! Vader attempts to pin, but only a two count! Vader calls for the end and pulls Awesome towards the buckles. Vader ascends the ropes, but he takes too much time and Awesome is up and he clubs Vader to the lower back, stopping him as he tries to set up the Vader Bomb. Vader is staggered and Awesome ducks down under him and grabs his legs. Joey Styles is screaming, "NO! NO!" but it's too late! Awesome somehow manages to hold up his weight and runs forward, falling and delivering a HUGE POWERBOMB, AND THE RING CAVES IN! "OH MY GODDDDD!!!!" screams Styles, as Vader lays in a crater and Awesome lays on the mat. The fans are chanting "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" and nobody knows what to do! Vader is down and out, and Awesome can't get him back out of the hole, so the referee has no choice but to call this a no contest! A little disappointing, but nobody can deny that was an amazing moment, and one Hell of a memorable way to end this show!
Staff and paramedics hit the ring, and they are going to have a Hell of a job ahead of them trying to tend to Vader as the show comes to an end.
