LIVE FROM THE ELKS LODGE IN QUEENS, NEW YORK
The show opens with Joey Styles (2000) standing in the ring.
Styles welcomes the fans here in the Elks Lodge, and asks them if they are ready for the hottest, hardest hitting action in professional wrestling today, and of course, the fans are more than ready to get this show on the road, so Joey tosses it to Joel Gertner (1995), pretty much nondescript ring announcer, who's ready to introduce our first combatants of the evening!

"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit (1997)
These two are always very physical in their matches, and this was no different. These fans were very riled up for this main event contest between two of the best to ever lace up the boots, and they brought it hard tonight. Benoit and Regal would start off hard with a tie up that lead to a series of inside punches and blows from both men, ending with Benoit laying into Regal with a series of kicks, followed by a Snap Suplex. Benoit covers, getting a two count, but from there Benoit began laying into Regal with mounted punches. Regal is able to cover up and actually pull Benoit over and starts blasting him with mounted forearms and elbows, following up with a Arm Triangle to try to choke out the Canadian star. Benoit makes it to the ropes, but Regal just begins blasting Benoit with knees before laying into him with European uppercuts and kicks. Benoit fires back with a headbutt, and here it goes. These two men start trading stiff head butts which leads Regal to get his head busted open and these fans are going nuts for this rugged brutality! Regal ends up kicking Benoit after connecting with a final headbutt, and then grabs him up and delivers his Regal Plex, holding on and getting a two count! Regal scrambles and tries to go for a Regal Stretch, but Benoit reverses with a boot that sends Regal flying through the ropes to the outside! Benoit takes a moment to get his bearings as Regal staggers up on the outside... and Benoit flies through the ropes, taking down the Blackpool native with a Suicida, and then begins hammering down on Regal again with mounted punches! Benoit pulls up Regal and starts laying into him with stiff chops before sending him down to the floor hard with a Back Suplex! Once back in the ring, Benoit grabs on and takes Regal over with a German Suplex, followed by another, and then he tries for a third chained German, but Regal blocks it and takes Benoit over with Judo style throw. Benoit gets to his feet and catches Regal trying to grab him, taking him down into the Crippler Crossface! Regal manages to escape, though, rolling out of it and both he and Benoit are back up. Regal manages to grab Benoit and takes him over with an Exploder Suplex, making the cover, but just a two count! Regal slaps his knee, telling the fans he's going for the Knee Trembler, but as he rushes in, but Benoit hops up and catches him with a huge clothesline, cleaning his clock! Benoit does the throat slash and then heads up top, looking for the Swandive Headbutt and it connects! Benoit hooks the leg, thinking he's got it, but no! Regal is not done! Benoit rushes, trying again for the Crippler Crossface, but Regal blocks it again, this time grabbing Benoit into a Half Nelson and then hoisting him up, driving him right on his head with a Half Nelson Suplex! Benoit is face down on the mat, his knees holding him up, and then he gets to all fours as Regal stumbles up. Regal then rushes and it connects... KNEE TREMBLER! Benoit's eyes are shut and his mouth is open, and he's just knocked out cold! Regal makes the cover, hooking the leg hard and driving the forearm across the face, and Joey Styles yells out and he can't believe it, and neither can the fans! Regal pulled it off, he beat "The Crippler"!
Regal's face is smeared with blood that is now coagulating as Benoit is coming to his senses. Benoit offers his hand, trying to show some respect to Regal. Regal looks at the hand and considers it, and he actually looks like he's going in for it, but he goes ahead and turns his back, leaving Benoit with his hand out as the fans boo their heads off! What a classless act, and Benoit is clearly furious about this. Styles surmises that it is probable that these two will meet again, and he can't wait to see it, before signing off and the show comes to an end.

Spanky (2002)
versus
Kidman (1998)
versus
Kidman (1998)
You couldn't have had much more contrast here, as the grungy, unpleasant Kidman took on the zany and energetic Spanky in a quick back and forth contest. Kidman is able to withstand some quick takedown early and take the match over with a big Sit-Out Spinebuster, followed by a Slingshot Legdrop, and from there he tries to ground and wear down Spanky. Spanky has very sound technical skills, though, and is able to not just work his way back into things, but shows some very creative reversals to send Kidman to the outside, scratching himself and trying to figure out what to do. Spanky fakes a dive, taunting Kidman, but then flies off the apron with a Diving Elbow Smash! Back in the ring, Spanky looks to regain control, but Kidman catches him with an eye poke, followed by a series of different chokes and stomps, continuing to wear down the Washington native. Kidman delivers a Sit-Out Powerslam, and attempts a cover, but still just a two count. Kidman attempts to scoop him back up for something, but Spanky quickly floats over and rolls him up in a Prawn Hold, but only a two! Spanky catches the dirtball with an Enzuigiri, then calls for his finisher, pointing to the buckles! He grabs Kidman's head and is looking for Sliced Bread #2, but Kidman shoves him forward, sending him chest first into the buckles, and then grabs him and off the buckles hits a Swinging Bulldog! Spanky is looking out of it, but Kidman isn't done. Kidman picks him up and drives him to the mat with a slam, and then heads up top... Seven Year Itch (Shooting Star Press)! The fans give him some props for that, and it's over. The fanfare doesn't last long as Kidman continues scratching himself and mocking Spanky, drawing boos as he leaves the ringside area.
Tyler Reks (2012), Tomko (2006), and Sean O'Haire (2003)
versus
Can-Am Express (Phil Lafon & Doug Furnas) (1992) and Pierre Carl Ouelett (2000)
versus
Can-Am Express (Phil Lafon & Doug Furnas) (1992) and Pierre Carl Ouelett (2000)
The size was definitely on the side of the big, bad ass team of Reks, Tomko, and O'Haire, who seemed very menacing to start. The Cam-Am Express and PCO did not seem very intimidated, as it was clear they had more of a game plan coming in. The Can-Am Express would get the crowd behind them by using their quick, clean style and deceptive power to make the bigger trio really have to reel back and rethink their strategy. Sean O'Haire seemed to be leading the charge and he and PCO would have a pretty exciting back and forth exchange, but Carl would end up ducking a Thrust Kick attempt at one point, crotching O'Haire, and then sending him to the outside with a kick of his own. From there, Ouellet would hit a big Tope con Giro, and all hell would break loose! Tomko and Reks would hit the ring as Furnas and Lafon rushed in to meet them, initially coming out on top of the exchange, only to have the CAX catch them sleeping after a whip, flipping over their stereo Back Body Drop attempt and hitting a Back Suplex/German Suplex respectively to send Reks and Tomko out of the ring. Pierre sends O'Haire back into the ring and Lafon manages to muscle up the big man, and he and Furnas deliver a Double Powerbomb, followed by Le Cannonball from PCO, and that's enough to get the pinfall victory!
After the match, there's some shoving going on, as O'Haire blames Tomko and Reks for their loss, which ends up with Tomko blasting O'Haire with a knee, and the two come to blows! Reks just kind of blows the whole thing off, jumping out of the ring, as these two slug it out, eventually heading to the crowd. O'Haire seems to be getting the better of things and grabs a steel chair, but Tomko ducks a shot and catches O'Haire with a big boot to the chair, smashing him right in the face and putting him out with it! Tomko walks off triumphantly, as O'Haire tries to pull himself up, maybe brooding about revenge.

"The Innovator of Offense" Kanyon (1998)
versus
Nova (2001)
Nova (2001)
These two guys are both very innovative and have huge repertoires at their disposal. Kanyon has the size advantage here, and he used to his advantage, dominating Nova early after an exchange of holds. Kanyon would use a series of rest holds after gaining the upperhand and used the opportunity to pull the fans in, mouthing with them and using a lot of crude language with Nova, getting the fans to rally behind the New Jersey native. Nova fights his way back and gets Kanyon in the corner, where he charges in and catches him with a big Spear to the buckles, and then pulls him out, heading to the buckles and then flying off with a Blockbuster to get a two count. Kanyon manages to get the control back with a Russian Legsweep and seems to start taking things more seriously, putting a serious beat down on Nova with furious clubbing blows and repeated knees before Torture Rack Neckbreaker, but Nova still kicks out! Kanyon calls for the end, causing the fans to boo, as he attempts the Flatliner, but Nova blocks it and reverses with a Falling Reverse DDT, then follows up by chaining it into a Reverse DDT, but he still ends up with a two as well! Both men stagger to their feet as the fans clap and cheer, and these two exchange blows in the center of the ring! Kanyon cuts off Nova with a kneelift and tries for a Fisherman's Suplex, but Nova blocks and reverses into a Small Package, but still just a two! Kanyon gets up quickly as Nova tries to go back on the attack. Nova ducks an on coming clothesline attempt and reverses it into an Inverted Swinging Neckbreaker, and he calls for the end, and the fans cheer! Nova picks up Kanyon, attempting to lift him up into the Kryptonite Krunch, but Kanyon slides off of it and spins Nova around, grabbing him and quickly taking him down with the Flatliner! Nova is out and Kanyon hooks the leg for the three! What a contest!
Daizee Haze (2008)
versus
"The Female Terminator" Cheerleader Melissa (2013)
Haze and Melissa are both well renowned on the independent scene, and saw this as an opportunity to really shine alongside some of the best male competitors in the business. They really told a good story here, and the fans couldn't help but be impressed by the physicality. Melissa is quite a bit bigger than Haze, and would use that power early to pin her down, and from there would put a pretty good pounding on the peace loving hippie chick. Haze would show some grit, battling back with elbows and sending Melissa out of the ring with a dropkick, which he followed by with a Pescado. Melissa would manage to regain control out there and make Haze pay for sending her out there, lifting her and sending her back first into the turnpost in a bad way! Melissa spends a number of minutes after that back in the ring, contorting and stretching Haze, working over the now ailing back as she wears her down, trying to find a way to finish things. Melissa would go on to attempt a Powerbomb, but Haze would reverse and execute a Sunset Flip, only to get a short two. Melissa would try to get back to her feet, but Haze was quicker, and punished her with a brutal Yakuza Kick to the head as she was still kneeling! Styles would let an "Oh My God!" on that one, as Melissa's head snapped in a bad way, but she was still able to pick out at two, causing the fans to applaud and cheer! Haze calls for the end, lifting up "The Female Terminator" and attempting to deliver a Snapmare Driver, but Melissa reverses and hits a German Suplex of her own, bridging and getting a two count! Melissa now calls for the end, taunting Haze and trying to get her up into the Kudo Driver, but Haze reverses and jumps her back with a Sleeper Hold, only to have Melissa power out, throwing her forward hard. Melissa gets Haze's legs into position and pulls her arms up, and stomps her to the mat with the Surfboard Curb Stomp, but she can only get a two count on the pinfall, and frustration can be seen setting in on the California native's face. Melissa picks up Haze and attempts the Kudo Driver again, but Haze breaks free, attempting a Dragon Suplex, but Melissa breaks free... oh, but Haze grabs her and now she's trying for a Tiger Suplex, but Melissa reverses with an armdrag variation! They are back up after that and Melissa catches Haze with a hard Rolling Elbow, but Haze staggers and pops off the ropes, sending a big Yakuza Kick into Melissa's chest, which sends her off the ropes! Haze jumps, springboarding off the middle rope and attempting to catch Melissa with a Cutter, but Melissa rushes, grabbing her in mid-air and hitting another Bridging German Suplex, but Haze still kicks out! Melissa hangs on, though, and then grabs her by the legs, twisting them in the center of the ring and she has her caught, the Kondo Clutch! Melissa tries to break Haze in half, putting tremendous pressure on her previously injured back, and Haze has no choice but to tap out! These two just let everyone here in Queens know that ICW is the home of true women's professional wrestling!
Swinger (2000) & Simon Diamond (2000)
versus
Joey Matthews (2000) & Christian York (2000)
Matthews would start off the match, and it was clear early on after a feeling out process with Swinger that he didn't want to try to lock horns with the bigger athlete. He and York would try to keep the pace quick from there, but the underhanded tactics and physicality of Swinger and Diamond would cut them off, and eventually Swinger and Diamond would cut the ring off for York and lay into him with a good deal of punishment. Matthews would get a hot tag and come off the top, hitting a Crossbody Block on Diamond, but he'd only get a two count. Diamond would tag out to Swinger, who would immediately knock the exhausted York off the apron, and this would set up the end. Matthews would try to fight back with a Superkick to Diamond, who was also in the ring, but it would get caught and Diamond would catch it and lift him onto his shoulder, allowing Swinger to quickly swoop in with a DDT from that position, delivering their tag team finisher, the Problem Solver! Swinger would then cut off York as he tried to hit the ring and Diamond got the three count.
Hardcore Holly (1999)
versus
Val Venis (2002)
Venis would come out and whip off his towel, gyrating for the females in the audience as Holly looked on in disgust. This was as much of a fight as we've seen so far, as Holly came in fast and hard, not really wasting time in the collar and elbow lock, and instead going right to hard overhand chops and clubbing blows. Venis would fight back with elbows to the midsection and then some hard left hands, and things spilled out to the floor. Holly would have to shake off the cobwebs after taking some kicks to the midsection, but would ultimately ram Venis into the apron and then lift him and drop him throat first onto the guard rail, sending him to the floor holding his wind pipe as the fans cheered on the violence. Holly would grab a chair from the audience there and proceed to whack Venis to the back with it, sending a loud echo through the venue, before tossing the chair into the ring and sending Venis in after it. Holly would pick up the chair and try to use it again, but the referee would use his discretion and grab it, trying to save Venis a further beating. The bully Hardcore Holly would threaten the ref, but Venis would take the opportunity to roll him up for a two count. Venis would take control from here, hitting some big slams and working up the crowd before planting Holly with a Piledriver, but this would only lead to a two count. Venus would call for the end, trying for a Fisherman's Suplex, but Holly would block it and fight his way out with fists of fury, following up with a whip and then a picture perfect Dropkick, getting some fanfare for that. Holly calls for the end and tries for his Falcon Arrow, but Venus floats over it and hits a Bridging German Suplex, but only a two count! Venus points to the buckles and then attempts to a hit a Spinebuster on Holly, but Holly kicks him when he ducks and then levels him with a Lariat. Holly tries to whip Venus to the corner, but Val reverses it from there, storming in, but Holly catches him with a boot and then grabs Venus, sending him over to the ropes and then grabbing his legs up into a Wheelbarrow, kicking him in the midsection hard! Holly once again lifts Venus, trying for his Falcon Arrow, but Venus reverses it with a knee to the face. Venus hooks Holly's leg, attempting the Fisherman's Suplex, but Holly breaks free and goes for a Small Package, but still just a two! Back up, Venus tries for an attack, but Holly ducks it and catches him with a big Forearm Smash, followed by a kick and then he lifts him again, and this time he gets it, the Falcon Arrow! Holly hooks the leg and it's over! Holly gets the win!
Jerry Lynn (1998)
versus
Gregory Helms (2005)
Gregory Helms (2005)
Helms would hit the ring very cocky, and his arrogance spilled over into this high impact contest. Helms would waste too much time early on showboating after laying into Lynn with a vicious series of right hands and stomps, leading to Lynn catching him with a Huracanrana that sent him out of the ring. Lynn gets on the apron and puts up the horns before leaping off and delivering a Front Dropkick to Helms that flattens him on the floor. Lynn attempts a suplex on the floor, but Helms reverses it with a knee to the face before sending Lynn into the turnpost with a hard whip. Helms employs a series of chokes and mounted punches before attempting a cover, but Lynn kicks out. Helms smells blood in the water so he decides to go for some high impact offense, putting Lynn in a straight jacket and delivering a Sit-Out Mat Slam, but Lynn kicks out again. Helms whips Lynn and delivers a big clothesline, trying for a pin again, but Lynn still kicks out. From there, Helms tries to hold down Lynn with a chinlock, followed by a neck wrench, but Lynn rallies with the fans behind him and battles back with elbows. Lynn whips Helms and promptly lays a Dropkick right to his jaw, following with a pin attempt of his own, but Helms kicks out this time. Lynn retains control for a couple of minutes more, attempting another pinfall with a Bridging German Suplex, but Helms won't stay down. Lynn calls for the Swinging DDT and tries for it, but Helms reverses with a Northern Lights Suplex, bridging but just a two! Helms hurries and delivers a Shining Wizard soon after, but Lynn still won't stay down for the three! Helms is frustrated and calls for the end, lifting Lynn onto his shoulders and attempting a swinging move from there, but Lynn reverses into a DDT! Helms is dazed, stumbling up, and Lynn sends a kick into his gut and grabs him up with a Cradle Piledriver! Big impact, and it's all over, Lynn gets the three count!
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer (1998)
versus
Stevie Richards (2005)
Richards was particularly intense coming out, hailing the fans and practically foaming at the mouth to get going here, as he really seemed to want a win. The fans were behind Dreamer, though, who took some big shots from Richards early, actually busting his mouth open, and knew the score from there. Dreamer would catch an on coming kick from Richards and take him down with a clothesline, following up with a hard, furious series of right hands that sent Richards staggering and tumbling to the outside, obviously having his bell rung. Dreamer grabs Richards and body slams him on the floor before out stretching his arms and yelling out to the fans, and they are really behind him tonight here in Queens. Dreamer sends Richards into the crowd with a hard whip, and proceeds to beat him up and down the aisles, smacking him with chairs and trashcans, at one point taking a swig of beer and then spitting it in his face, before sending Richards back over the railing with a Vertical Suplex, sending him down hard! Back in the ring, Dreamer lifts up Richards and is looking for the Spicolli Driver, but Richards elbows his way out and then hits a Reverse DDT out of desperation! Richards isn't able to follow up with a pin, but he is able to pull himself up first, measuring up Dreamer, and then blasting him with a Stevie Kick! Richards pins after that, but it's only a two! Richards knows there is urgency here and attempts a Stevie Bomb, but Dreamer reverses, landing on his feet and then kicking Richards, and then delivers the DDT! Dreamer hooks the near leg, but Richards gets the ropes to break the pin attempt! Dreamer is a bit incredulous, but he goes right back on the attack, blasting him with more right hands. Dreamer grabs Richards and seems to be thinking Piledriver, but Richards drops to a knee and delivers a big low blow! Dreamer drops and Richards calls for the end, measuring up Dreamer again. Dreamer gets up and Richards tries for another Stevie Kick, but Dreamer ducks it and then lands a kick, trying for another DDT, but Richards reverses and tries for a Small Package, but Dreamer kicks out. Both men are up and Richards tries for a clothesline, but Dreamer grabs him and takes him over with a Backslide, earning a two. Richards and Dreamer are both up and Richards goes for a kick, but Dreamer catches it and swings him around, delivering a Neckbreaker! From there, Dreamer rolls out of the ring and he goes under the apron, pulling out a table! The fans are going nuts now, as Dreamer sets it up in the corner and Richards staggers up. Dreamer grabs Richards, but Richards bursts with punches and a knee, pulling Dreamer down and trying for a Stevie Bomb into the cornered table, but Dreamer reverses, landing behind Richards. "The Innovator of Violence" spins at this point, connecting with a Discus Punch, completely dazing Richards, who staggers in a circle, and Dreamer gets him up... RUNNING SPICOLLI DRIVER THROUGH THE TABLE! The fans are going nuts as Styles yells out "OH MY GOD!" on the impact! Dreamer, dazed as well from the impact, pulls Richards from the rubble away from the ropes and lays his back on Richards, and it's all over! Dreamer wins it!
