The following matches took place during the Explosive Pre-Game Show, hosted by Jeremy Borash, SoCal Val and “The Genius” Lanny Poffo, and available exclusively on the Mash-Up Wrestling Network:
First Match: Jazz defeated Jennifer Blake by submission to the Bitch Clamp in a time of 5:10.
Second Match: The Redneck Wrecking Crew and Cuban Assassins battled to a stalemate as the match ended in a double countout at 9:45.

Our evening begins with “The Genius” Lanny Poffo’s Honour Roll, featuring AGPW International Heavyweight Champion, “Superstar” Billy Graham, “Classy” Freddie Blassie and René Duprée. The show opening segment reminds us all of Californiacation’s on-going success. The group says that its strong showing at last month’s MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014 was almost a death blow to Papa Emile’s company, as DSN was suddenly pre-empted for four weeks, causing a huge financial blow to AGPW’s bottom line. René talks about forging a strong economic partnership with some major corporate backers and they are ready to bank roll his purchase of the company just as soon as he force his father into a position where he will have to sell it off to stave off a complete personal financial ruin. Meanwhile, Graham takes a few moments to bury Chris Jericho for losing to him and declares that there are no credible challengers for his title in Canada. Plus, Bad Influence declare war on Tazaro and claim that they will regain the North American Tag Team Titles, tonight, in a match that favours them because their style of wrestling is to always kick out before the count of three. There is a party atmosphere in the ring right now because, as Blassie tells us, the end of professional wrestling north of the 49th parallel is so close they can taste it.

VS.
Charlotte Flair vs. Nicole Matthews
This is a match that showcases Charlotte’s excellent mat skills and proves that her hard fought victory over Natalya on the last episode of DSN (October 11) was no fluke. Charlotte uses her long legs to squeeze the life out of Nicole Matthews and then finishes her off with her Natural Selection finisher. Don’t blink because this second generation superstar will be at the top of the women’s division before you know it!
Official Decision: Charlotte Flair wins by pinfall at 5:57
SoCal Val is standing by with Bret “The Hitman” Hart to ask him for a public comment about his heartbreaking loss in the triple threat Iron Man match at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014. Hart says that it might be hard knowing that he was so close to winning the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship, but that it is pretty easy to swallow knowing that he prevented Ric Flair from becoming the champion and embarrassing AGPW as well as Canadian wrestlers and wrestling fans everywhere. Hart says that he came here at the personal request of his father Stu Hart’s long-time friend, Emile Duprée because he needed the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be to defend his company from the vultures that are circling it. That’s what he did at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014 and that’s what he’ll continue to do. He promises that professional wrestling will continue to exist and will prosper north of the 49th parallel for as long as he lives.

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Magnus w/ Maryse vs. Dean Malenko vs. Édouard Carpentier
In this week’s regular DSN fatal fourway, we have Rowdy Roddy Piper looking for a quick bounce back with a victory here, following his loss to Leo Burke at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014. Meanwhile, Dean Malenko and Édouard Carpentier lock horns once again. They finished off a series of stalemates with a long main event match the night before MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014 on DSN (October 11). The Man of 1000 Holds came out on top. He looks to build more momentum with a victory here and he does just that when he gets Magnus to submit to the Texas Cloverleaf while Piper is letting his temper get the best of him as he suplexes Carpentier on the bare concrete floor! Maryse looks very displeased with Magnus’ performance. Meanwhile, Piper absolutely loses his mind when he realizes that the match has ended, so he continues to assault Carpentier to vent his frustrations. Malenko is leaving ringside, but turns back to see what has picked the interest of the fans. He thinks it over for a moment and then goes back to save Carpentier, earning him the appreciation of the crowd. Malenko maintains a serious expression through it all, giving no emotional response to the fans.
Official Decision: Dean Malenko wins by submission at 10:34

Christian Cage is here to air out his laundry list of complaints against Californiacation. He’s in a very foul mood. He takes issue with “Superstar” Billy Graham’s assertion that there are no credible challengers to the title in Canada. He wishes to remind Graham that he’s only carrying around “my title” because it was stolen from him and he wants it back. In fact, Cage says, he’s had a lot of things stolen from him lately and he’s sick and tired of it. He is bound and determined to make sure that the thief gets his comeuppance. The thief, by the way, is René Duprée, who attacked him and caused him to lose the International Heavyweight Championship to Graham, and who stole a victory away from him in their match at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014. Cage’s frustration shows and he demands that Commissioner Billy Two Rivers finds a way to give him another match against Duprée and the rematch against Graham that he so rightfully deserves.
We won’t find out whether Cage was going to be granted his two wishes because out comes the “Inspirational” Bo Dallas! He’s here with a very important message to give to Cage. He was listening to Cage in the back and it is his expert opinion that the reasons why Cage is carrying around so much frustration and ill-will towards Californiacation is not because of what he says they did to him, but because he doesn’t truly BOLIEVE in his heart that he is able to win the big match anymore. He claims that Cage’s biggest problem is that he would rather claim himself the victim of a huge conspiracy than to repair his own shattered self-esteem. He tells him that after he does that, then and only then, can he get his comeuppance on Duprée and win his title back because all he has to do is BOLIEVE!
Unimpressed and unhappy about being interrupted, “Captain Charisma” tackles Dallas with a spear! But he is not finished there. He picks up the “Inspirational” one and gives him an Unprettier before leaving the ring.

VS.
Chris Jericho vs. Sylvain
This match is basically a television squash match to give Chris Jericho a reason to be on television. Sylvain does his job. He gets a few token moves of offense in, but the supermodel from Montréal is very short work for the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n Rollah, who finishes the match off with a lionsault followed by the Walls of Jericho. What is more important is Y2J’s quick post-match promo, in which he signals his intent to get another match against “Superstar” Billy Graham for the International Heavyweight Championship, who he says unjustly defeated him to retain the title at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014.
Official Decision: Chris Jericho wins by submission at 3:44

VS.
Lance Storm vs. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair
An intense workrate made-for-TV masterpiece between two of the finest students of the game that the sport has ever seen. Ric Flair is stylin’ and profilin’. He brings enough personality to the ring for himself and his opponent. It’s a good thing, too, because Lance Storm is all business. There is no denying that Storm is the underdog, but the partisan crowd in the nation’s capital is fully behind him. The “Let’s Go Storm!” are loud, sometimes deafeningly so. Storm’s moves are crisp and he feeds off of the energy of the crowd to dominate much of the middle part of the match. Storm gets a lot of offense in. However, he makes just one mistake and Flair takes full advantage of it. Storm goes for a running leg lariat, but Flair ducks it, then turns the advantage right over to his side with a series of knife-edge chops and a variety of kneebreakers. While Storm would make a late rally with a few nearfalls and connect with a superkick that looks like it knocked the “Nature Boy” out cold (earning the longest 2-count imaginable, for dramatic effect), he would not be victorious on this night. Flair would regain control of the match and force Storm to submit via the figure four leglock.
Official Decision: “Nature Boy” Ric Flair wins by submission at 11:26
Following the match, the “Nature Boy” cuts a promo directed at Bret “The Hitman” Hart, stating that he failed to prove that he was a better wrestler than the “Nature Boy” at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014, but succeeded to keep the mayor of space mountain from getting his hands on the only prize that truly matters in this sport – the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship! For that reason, he says that he’s going to burn Hart’s hometown down one piece at a time, starting right now. He drops the microphone and leaves the ring to attack Storm as he is leaving ringside. Flair gives him a low blow and then throws him into the guardrails a few times before putting him in the figure four again! This draws out Tyson Kidd, but he’s attacked by Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. Finally, Hart arrives on the scene to even the odds. Security officials hit the scene to stop the fighting and Commissioner Billy Two Rivers orders a 6-man tag team match, next week!

Jeremy Borash is standing by for an exclusive backstage interview with AJ Lee, who says that even though she made Trish Stratus tap out and therefore should be the Women’s Champion, AJ respects and admires “The Big Event” for the way in which she managed to retain her championship at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014. According to AJ, it is irrefutable proof that Stratus is the greatest female wrestler of all-time. Borash questions her sincerity, but AJ insists upon it, saying that she hopes that Stratus will take her under her wings and teach her so that she may one day be as good a wrestler as Stratus.
VS.
Taylor Wilde vs. Fabulous Moolah
Fabulous Moolah returns to action for the first time in over three months. She doesn’t ease back into competition as she faces a tough opponent in Taylor Wilde, who gets a lot of offense in on Moolah, using her speed and her high-risk aerial maneuvers to keep Moolah off balance. However, ever the gritty veteran, Moolah weathers the storm and waits for her moment to exploit a mistake with a counter maneuver and then takes over with her old-school heel tactics, despite being warmly received as of late. Moolah finishes off the match with a missile dropkick followed by a victory roll to get the 3-count.
Official Decision: Fabulous Moolah wins by pinfall at 8:16
After the match, Moolah calls out Women’s Champion Trish Stratus to stop hiding behind her hired muscle and to face her one-on-one like a real woman. That comment draws out the Women’s Champion and her gatekeeper to the throne, Awesome Kong. The “Big Event” tells Moolah that she has nothing more to prove against her. She says that she beat her over half a year ago and that winning one match after being out of action for three months after losing to her gatekeeper does not give her the credentials to be the #1 contender to the Women’s Championship. Moolah presents a counterargument, but if then confronted by AJ Lee, who skips out to the ring and defends Stratus by claiming she is the greatest wrestler of all-time and then attacking Moolah by giving her the shining wizard and putting her in the Black Widow! Meanwhile, Stratus and Kong look on, not sure of what to think, but they choose not to get involved and then leave while AGPW officials pull AJ off of Moolah.

North American Tag Team Championship Match
Tazaro vs. Bad Influence w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie
Tazaro vs. Bad Influence w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie
Bad Influence exercises the rematch clause in the title defence contract to get a chance to regain the North American Tag Team Titles. Meanwhile, Taz and Cesaro are making their first title defence since winning the titles at MAYHEM IN MONTRÉAL 2014 in AGPW’s first ever TLC match, which also featured The Stampeders and Brainbusters. The match is nothing short of excellent, as you would expect from these four wrestlers. It is a case of contrasting styles coming together to make magic. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are so smooth with the acrobatic high flying offense, meanwhile Taz and Cesaro are technically sound and absolutely punishing with their array of suplexes. As expected, “Classy” Freddie Blassie tries to influence the outcome of the match, but his interference is ineffective and Tazaro makes its first successful title defence in convincing fashion when Cesaro gives Kazarian about 20 spins of the Cesaro Swing and then tags out to Taz, who comes in and strangles him into submission with the Tazmission.
Official Decision: Tazaro wins by submission at 13:27
