Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Cesaro vs. Kurrgan vs. “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase w/ Virgil
This week’s show opens with a highly competitive fatal fourway bout. There are a few combustible elements butting heads in this one, especially with the short-tempered Scotsman Rowdy Roddy Piper in the ring. He is just the kind of crazy to stand up in front of a 7-foot, 350-pound “Acadian Giant” and ask him to chop the hell out of his chest, which he does late in the match. Kurrgan obliges and Piper feeds off of the pain, using it to go on a mid-match tear that sees him boxing Kurrgan into the ropes and then dropkicking him to the floor. The more technically proficient Swiss Superman, Cesaro, and “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase have their spirited competition halted when Piper then rushes into the corner and lands a jumping body splash on DiBiase and then starts flailing wildly at Cesaro before taking him down with a bulldog. His pin attempt is kicked out of, but Piper can’t follow up because Kurrgan pulls Cesaro out to the floor and chokeslams him! Back in the ring, DiBiase attacks Piper from behind and starts to work him over. He gives Piper a few suplexes and his patented fist drop, but can’t pin Piper for a 3-count. So then he locks on the Million Dollar Dream, but then releases Piper and abandons the ring when Kurrgan comes back into the ring. Kurrgan takes advantage of the situation and scoops up Piper for a bodyslam and then a high-elevation standing leg drop! He pins. 1…2… Cesaro breaks it up with a diving double axehandle smash to the back. Cesaro rocks the giant with a series of European uppercuts and then shows us why he may very well be the strongest man in AGPW (pound-for-pound) by taking Kurrgan over with a vertical suplex!
Cesaro grabs the giant by the feet and the crowd pops as he gets ready to go swinging, but “Killer” Karl Krupp stops that with an attack from behind. As he applies the Iron Claw to Cesaro, Taz arrives and pulls Krupp off of Cesaro with release German suplex! They end up out on the floor, and Kurrgan and Cesaro both follow. As they brawl around ringside, the Million Dollar Man, ever the opportunist, slides back into the ring, sneaks up on Piper from behind and reapplies the Million Dollar Dream, which forces Piper to sleep and wins the match for Ted DiBiase.
Official Decision: “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase wins by submission

SoCal Val is standing backstage with AJ Lee, who shocked the Mash-Up Wrestling Universe last week by attacking Awesome Kong and AGPW Women’s Champion Trish Stratus. AJ says that it should come as no surprise to anyone that she is here because, apparently, “THE BIG EVENT” is in this company; is the reigning Women’s Champion of this company; and is making bold claims about how no one in the entire world matches up to her talent. AJ has come to Mash-Up’s most competitive women’s wrestling division to rise to the top of the pyramid and take the Women’s Championship so that the fans can be represented by a Women’s Champion who is one of them. She says that it is about time that the title gets taken away from the kinds of women who are more concerned about which lists of celebrities their names appear on, whose shoulders they are rubbing up against, or when their next bikini modeling shoot is going to be. She says that the fans yearn for a change. AJ will be their Women’s Champion because she’s of the people, by the people and for the people!
But just like that, AJ gets taken out in a sneak attack by Awesome Kong, who throws her around the interview area and finishes her hit and run with a two-handed sit-out chokeslam! Kong looks at SoCal Val and says that if AJ wants a match for the AGPW Women’s Championship, she’ll have to go through her first.

The Mounties vs. The Brain Busters
Fan favourites, Jacques Rougeau & Pierre Ouellet – The Mounties – face the newly reformed team of Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard – The Brain Busters. This is a battle between four heavyweight and it is a hard hitting affair. Both teams display some crisp double team maneuvers. Rougeau and Ouellet do the most damage with their double team power moves, all of which they execute on Blanchard. However, Blanchard persistently kicks out of every pinfall attempt and, then, when he’s no longer able to, Anderson helps to keep him in the match long enough to counter an Ouellet back body drop attempt into a sunset flip for a two count, then duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a dropkick right before leaping to make a desperation tag. Anderson comes in and goes on a rampage. He more than proves why he’s known as the Enforcer as he viciously beats down both Mounties until he executes a Double A Spinebuster on Rougeau for the pin. Ouellet just breaks it up, but then Blanchard grabs him from behind and executes a slingshot suplex! He heads back to the apron for the quick tag so that they can give Rougeau the spike piledriver to finish the match.
Official Decision: The Brain Busters win by pinfall

VS.
Kevin Steen vs. Sylvain
This match was Mr. Wrestling’s from the word “go!” However, Sylvain attacked his fellow Québecer before the referee got a chance to say that word. Sylvain’s unexpected pre-match attack saw him surprise up all by giving Steen a spinebuster, flapjack and the 3 Seconds of Fame DDT all in short order. Sylvain backed off and waited for the opening bell to be rung. Steen struggled to get to his feet, but he told the referee to ring the bell. Then, Sylvain charged at Steen, only to have him scoop the model up and give him a go home driver! Rather than pinning Sylvain right then and there, Steen decided to punish him for the unprovoked pre-match attack. He demolished Sylvain with an enziguiri kick, Steenalizer, running cannonball in the corner, Steen Breaker, and an F-Cinq before finally showing him some mercy by ending the match, buut not until after executing a package piledriver on him!
Official Decision: Kevin Steen wins by pinfall
Jeremy Borash is joined by the International Heavyweight Champion, “Superstar” Billy Graham, and his manager “Classy” Freddie Blassie to discuss the prospect of him having to face the undefeated behemoth, the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe, next week on DSN. Graham and Blassie start off by expressing their confidence in Christopher Daniels to hand Joe his first loss in AGPW and stop the juggernaut flat in his tracks. However, supposing for one second that in the extremely unlikely situation where Graham would have to defend his championship against Joe next week, the Tower of Power tells Borash that he isn’t afraid because the only time he’s ever sensed fear was when he could smell it coming off of his opponents as they entered the ring to face the Man of the Hour and your current International Heavyweight Champion! Joe may also seem like he doesn’t know what fear is, but there isn’t a man alive who has felt shivers run down their puny little spines when they’ve had to lock up in the middle of the ring with the “Superstar”. Next week will be no different. Together, the champion and his manager promise that the “Superstar” will continue to reign supreme just as brightly as the warm California sun!

Christian Cage comes to the ring and he has one simple message for Commissioner Billy Two Rivers: now that René Duprée has assumed Goldust’s former wrestling contract and can legally compete in wrestling matches, he wants Two Rivers to give him his first match against Captain Charisma, right now!
René Duprée comes out onto the entrance set to tell Cage that he won’t get a match with him. He says that he didn’t assume the contract to fight talentless hacks from the Big Smoke. He took the contract to get rid of a problem and further annoy the crap out of his father. He has no interest in facing Christian Cage and that is that. Cage reminds him that he cannot pick and choose who he competes against. Now that he’s contracted to AGPW, he has to compete in whatever matches the Commissioner decides to give him and wonders if Emile’s son isn’t just the biggest idiot on the planet for failing to realize that. He finishes off his mic time by telling Duprée that if he doesn’t want to have a match tonight, then he doesn’t mind settling for ripping his limbs off in a brawl that he promises will be an Instant Classic! Cage drops the mic, hops out of the ring and starts walking up the ramp.
Not so fast, says Duprée, as Awesome Kong walks out and stands in front of him as if she was a shield. Duprée says that if Cage wants to touch him, he’ll have go through Awesome Kong first. Cage stops and calls Duprée a coward, who eggs him on by asking him if he’s afraid of women. Cage asks Kong to step aside, but she crosses her arms and digs in. Then, Cage decides to step forward, but then get clubbed down with a lariat from Awesome Kong! Together, Duprée and Kong tear Cage apart. Their brutal assault goes all of the way back to ringside and sees Cage’s forehead busted open and welts form on his torso from receiving multiple kendo stick shots from Duprée. But as they prepare to put Cage through a table, first AJ Lee rushes out to get payback on Kong by hitting her in the back with a chair!
She hits her with it a few more times before Duprée stops her by shoving her backwards into the ring post! Duprée sees that Lee is vulnerable and also sees the chair on the ground. He goes to pick it up, only to then get kicked in the head by Cage! However, he can't follow it up, as Awesome Kong clotheslines him from behind. She climbs onto the table and then Duprée lifts Cage onto it for her. Kong gives him an Awesome Bomb through Ed Whalen and Lord Alfred Hayes’ play-by-play table!
Fortunately for AJ Lee, nothing more is done to her as security detail finally gain control of the scene. Before we go to commercial break, we see trainers and EMTs rush Christian Cage's aid. They take him out of the arena in an ambulance to seek medical attention following his vicious assault. Later in the broadcast, it will be announced by Whalen that Cage’s injuries are so severe that he will be barred from competing next week and that, due to the circumstances, Commissioner Two Rivers has decided to sign a mixed tag team match for next week between René Duprée & Awesome Kong and AJ Lee & Chris Jericho (who was not able to appear at tonight’s DSN because of a prior engagement with his band, Fozzy).

VS.
Édouard Carpentier vs. “The Iceman” Dean Malenko
This match pits two innovators in the ring against one another. On the one hand, you have the “Flying Frenchman” who was a pioneer in using maneuvers from off of the top rope. On the other, you have the “Iceman” who was one of the most technically gifted performers of all-time with a repertoire of a thousand holds. These two are very complimentary combatants and when they lock up, they go head-to-head, toe-to-toe, hold-for-hold, suplex-for-suplex and even high risk maneuver-for-maneuver. It’s a wrestling clinic between two men who embody the fighting spirit and who push themselves to continue on in pursuit of victory. Neither man is willing to give up during the earlier portion of the match, which sees them chain wrestler and try to wear down each other and maybe even obtain a submission victory. The middle portion of the match sees them take turns with the advantage as they start executing suplexes and slams on one another. Multiple failed pinfall attempts by both men leads them to try some high risk moves from the top. Carpentier goes for a diving clothesline, but doesn’t win the match off of it. Then he tries for a diving elbow drop, but that also doesn’t work. Malenko regains control and hits Carpentier with a missile dropkick, but it doesn’t win the match. Then, he tries to give him a diving hurricanrana with a cradle pin, but Carpentier still kicks out! Malenko decides to put Carpentier on the top rope to go for a superplex, but Carpentier blocks it and shoves Malenko to the mat, then he gets up and goes for a moonsault, but Malenko gets his knees up! When Malenko gets up, he goes for the Texas cloverleaf, but Carpentier pulls him into a small package for a long 2-count. Carpentier’s clothesline attempt is missed and Malenko pulls him down into a backslide that nearly wins it. Back to their feet, they trade chops until Malenko sidesteps a dropkick attempt and then gives Carpentier a butterfly suplex. He locks on the Texas cloverleaf and Carpentier has no way to escape the hold, but he refuses to quit. He tries to crawl to the ropes, but can’t quite get there and Malenko drags him back to the middle of the ring and then the referee calls the match. The match is called a draw as they reached the 20-minute minute time limit. The fans are not satisfied that there is no winner and Malenko gives the referee an earful as he feels that he was close to winning it, but none of it matters. The match won’t be restarted. It ends in a draw.
Official Decision: 20-Minute Time Limit Draw

VS.
Gail Kim & Chyna vs. Mexican Canada
Gail Kim and Chyna team up for the first time since Kim’s return to action. Here, they take on Sarita and Rosita. Perhaps still suffering a bit of ring rust, Kim struggles in the early going as Sarita and Rosita do an excellent job of isolating her from her corner. However, Kim eventually tags out and Chyna turns the tables on the Mexican Canadians. She overpowers them both, giving clotheslines, back body drops and gorilla press slams to both women. Chyna gives Rosita a DDT and nearly wins the match with that move, but Sarita breaks up the pin. Then, Chyna tags out and Kim hops up to the top turnbuckle and executes a front missile dropkick on Rosita! She picks her up and gives her Eat Defeat! However, before she can make the pin, Sarita saves her partner with a springboard tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown! But then Chyna comes into the ring. Sarita charges at her and goes for a cross-body block, but Chyna catches her and walks into the middle of the ring. She plays to the crowd by spinning around so everywhere can see, but as she does this, Sarita’s feet clip Kim in the face as she tries to get up. Rosita takes advantage by executing her dazed opponent with a jumping cutter and pinning her as Chyna gives Sarita a fallaway slam. 1…2…3! Rosita scores the pinfall victory for her team. Chyna had no time to make the save as she failed to see the pinfall as it happened.
Official Decision: Mexican Canada wins by pinfall
We go backstage where we find our cameras trained on Rowdy Roddy Piper. He’s got his gear bag and he’s headed for the arena exits. Leo Burke comes into view. He approaches Piper and tells him he’s been looking for him all night. Piper says he isn’t in the mood for talking. He’s still stewing over losing his match earlier in the evening. Burke tells him that was a tough break, but says that he needs to forget about that because next week, they’re getting their mandatory rematch for the North American Tag Team Titles. However, Piper doesn’t appear to be all that enthusiastic about the news. Next week, Leo Burke & Rowdy Roddy Piper will challenge Bad Influence for the North American Tag Team Titles!

Can the Tower of Power end Joe’s unprecedented 9-month undefeated streak or will the Samoan Submission Machine kill the International Heavyweight Champion? Tune in next week to find out!

Women’s Championship Match
Trish Stratus w/ Awesome Kong & “Classy” Freddie Blassie vs. Taylor Wilde
Trish Stratus w/ Awesome Kong & “Classy” Freddie Blassie vs. Taylor Wilde
With the deck stacked against her, Taylor Wilde went into this match still hoping to beat the odds of defeating Trish Stratus for the Women’s Championship with both Awesome Kong and “Classy” Freddie Blassie in her corner. The last time Wilde challenged Stratus for the title, the odds were insurmountable and she suffered a loss, but only after receiving a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor, from Awesome Kong. This time, Wilde was determined not to allow Kong to be a problem. Following an early advantage for the champion, Wilde turned the tables on Stratus and put up an offensive attack relying heavily on speed and precise timing for her aerial maneuvers. She used dropkicks, armdrags, headscissor takedowns and hurricanranas, with many of these moves coming from a springboard position, to keep Stratus off balance. Her attack was so smothering that Awesome Kong tried to interfere on Stratus’ behalf, but she received a running front dropkick to knock her off of the ring apron and then a springboard somersault suicide dive to take her out. However, the distraction alone was good enough to allow Stratus to get back into the game, as when Wilde returned to the ring, Stratus was there to stomp on her and then give her a few snap suplexes. The champion then put the challenger on the top turnbuckle and gave her the Stratusphere and pinned her for a long 2-count. She followed that up with a series of seated rear chinlocks, a camel clutch and an abdominal stretch, which Wilde eventually got out of by hip tossing Stratus to the mat and then giving her a shoot kick to the back. Wilde mounted a short rally in which she nearly won the match with a bridging northern lights suplex, but the champion managed to kick out at the last second. When Wilde grabbed Stratus in a rear waistlock for a German suplex, Stratus elbowed her to the head and then countered it into a rolling pin that nearly won the match. After getting up, Wilde ran to the ropes and went for a cross-body block, but Stratus caught her and countered it with a backbreaker. She then brought Wilde to her feet and executed Stratusfaction! At that point, Stratus pinned Wilde for the 3-count and the victory! Trish Stratus makes another successful title defence. Can anyone stop the reigning Women’s Champion?
Official Decision: Trish Stratus wins by pinfall
