It’s The Honour Roll with “The Genius” Lanny Poffo and his special guests, the AGPW International Heavyweight Champion “Superstar” Billy Graham and his manager “Classy” Freddie Blassie. They have come on The Honour Roll this week to disparage Chris Jericho for his ‘absolutely horrendous’ talk show hosting duties last week. Yes, Graham and Blassie were the first guests on the Highlight Reel and they were not treated kindly at all. Jericho asked them several difficult questions and even engaged in a physical altercation with Californiacation members Bad Influence, who came to the ring to help out Graham when he was the victim of a ‘pre-planned’ 2-on-1 gangland style attack by the renowned poor sport and loser former International Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage and his friend and willing accomplice, Chris Jericho.
Moving on to talk about his championship title reign, Graham says that he guarantees us that he will go down in history as the longest and most dominant International Heavyweight Champion of all-time because he is the Tower of Power and he cannot be knocked down. Blassie says that Graham will be the last International Heavyweight Champion of all-time because no one can or will defeat him and he’ll hold onto the belt for as long as it takes to turn business sour and run the company into the ground. Reiterating something they said last week, they recognize that the title must be defended at least once a month, so Graham will make his first title defence soon. However, they don’t think anyone will even qualify for a championship title match because there are no strong contenders to the throne outside of the members of Californiacation.
It’s the Samoan Submission Machine – Samoa Joe! Showing no signs of fear, Joe looks the champion directly in the eye and tells him that a few weeks ago the Ted DiBiase made him a generous offer to become to set his sights on the International Heavyweight Champion and win it as his hired gun. He refused the offer and then dealt with the “Million Dollar Man” by beating him in the ring. However, one important thing that DiBiase told him stuck with him. DibIase told him that he is an unbeatable force and the most impressive wrestler in all of AGPW. He also told him that untarnished win-loss record is well earned. Joe says that he heard those words and realized that as someone who has accumulated a 9-month undefeated streak and as the most impressive wrestler in AGPW, he thinks he is a strong championship title contender.
Graham and Blassie admit that his long undefeated streak is impressive, but laugh at the thought of him stepping up to confront the International Heavyweight Champion and ring general of the mighty faction from the land of sunshine and suntans. Joe tells them that they can laugh all they want, but it doesn’t refute the fact that he is the most impressive wrestler in AGPW, nor that he is an unbeatable force who has now set his sight on taking the International Heavyweight Champion from the Tower of Power! Graham and Blassie get serious and tell Joe that the only unbeatable force in AGPW is Californiacation and the proof of that can be found around the waists of Billy Graham, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian and Trish Stratus. Californiacation is taking AGPW by storm and there is nothing anybody can do about it. Then, Joe tells them that there is something that this unbeatable force can do – it can kill each and every Californian on his path to gold.
With that being said, Graham tries to strike Joe, but he avoids it and puts the International Heavyweight Champion in the Coquina Clutch! Blassie is hollering for help as Graham frantically taps out! Daniels, Kazarian and Goldust charge down to the ring, but not long after that, Chris Jericho and Christian Cage rush to the ring to help Joe clear it. The Genius cries out for this band of hooligans to be censured for ruining his interview segment, which brings Commissioner Billy Two Rivers out to announce that Chris Jericho and Christian Cage will be punished by being forced to reform Vitamin C and challenge the North American Tag Team Champions, Bad Influence, for their titles in tonight’s main event! Plus, Samoa Joe will be punished by having to compete in a match against Goldust – and that match starts right now!

VS. w/
Samoa Joe vs. Goldust w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie
This match, which was just ordered by Commissioner Billy Two Rivers, begins with Samoa Joe laying into Goldust with a plethora of hand, feet and knee strikes. Goldust struggles to stop the onslaught until Joe sends him into the corner and runs in only to get a boot to the face. Goldust switches places with him and beats him down with a series of hard hooks and uppercuts under the chin. Goldust gives him a hard cross-corner Irish whip, but when he charges in, Joe slips through the ropes to the ring apron and Goldust slams into the turnbuckle. Then, Joe gives him the CCS Enziguiri! After climbing back into the ring and getting a 2-count, Joe slowly work on picking apart Goldust’s upper body and head with various submission holds. He keeps this up until Goldust manages to break a side headlock by backing into the ropes and pushing Joe away. Joe knocks Goldust down with a standing shoulderblock and then runs to the ropes, but receives a powerslam from the bizarre one! Joe kicks out of it quickly, but that move turned the tide. Now, Goldust builds some momentum with a series of power moves that culminate in him executing a bulldog and going for the pin. Joe kicks out after a long two. Goldust takes Joe into the corner and gives him 10 punches to the head before setting him up for Shattered Dreams. As he runs in, Joe frees himself from the ropes and counters with a ST-Joe slam! Joe picks up Goldust and places him on the turnbuckle, where he then lifts him off and executes the Muscle Buster! Joe covers him. 1…2…3! Joe completes the first stage of carving a path through all of Californiacation on the way to the International Heavyweight Championship!
Official Decision: Samoa Joe wins by pinfall
*Commercial Break 2*
Our cameras are backstage, where they catch Goldust, “Superstar” Billy Graham and “Classy” Freddie Blassie on their way to the Californiacation locker room. As they are walking, Graham and Blassie are really expressing their displeasure with Goldust’s inability to win, not only tonight, but over the last several weeks. Goldust tells them that he’s working on fixing the problem, but they tell him that his recent woes needed to be fixed yesterday! They say that their investor doesn’t have much patience for failure. Then, suddenly, they stop when they see René Duprée. No words are exchanged. Duprée just looks at them, shakes his head as if to express disappointment and then walks away.
VS.
Al Snow vs. Sylvain
This match goes about 5-minutes from bell to bell. Al Snow gets a solid run of offense on Sylvain, but when he goes for the Snowplow, Sylvain escapes from the scoop up over his shoulder and executes a spinning back suplex turned into a side slam. After giving Snow a few more high impact moves, including a spinebuster and a flapjack, Sylvain gives him his 3-Seconds of Fame DDT finisher and pins him for the three count and the victory. The model from Montréal has now won two in a row since making his return to AGPW.
Official Decision: Sylvain wins by pinfall

VS. w/
The Stampeders vs. Brute Force w/ Maryse Ouellet
This match is the first of three tag team matches on tonight’s show. It’s a highly competitive contest pitting Lance Storm and Tyson Kidd versus Maryse’s international superstar tandem of Magnus and Rusev. The first few minutes of the match features quick action, which favours the pair of Calgarians, who pop the crowd with daring acts such as Storm performing a springboard plancha on Rusev and Kidd performing a corkscrew suicide dive on Magnus. However, the pace of the match slows down when the Brutes take control following a rebound clothesline by Magnus on Storm. Magnus and Rusev make several tags to maintain control of the action. However, Storm is able to stop their onslaught following a tag out by Rusev. Magnus enters the ring by attempting a slingshot elbow drop, but Storm rolls out of the way. After getting up and ducking a clothesline attempt, Storm knocks Magnus down with a superkick! After that, he’s able to tag out. Magnus also tags out. In somewhat of a David and Goliath like scenario, Kidd takes Rusev head on and flusters the big man with a run-and-gun strike attack featuring several springboard maneuvers. However, showing what incredible power can do, Rusev catches Kidd during a diving cross body attempt and counters it with a backbreaker-backbreaker-fallaway slam combo! Now, the Europeans put a large beating into Kidd for the next few minutes, but Kidd escapes certain defeat when he’s able to counter a powerbomb attempt by Magnus into a sunset flip for a 2-count followed by a spinning back kick to first knock Magnus down and then a front dropkick to the side of the head to knock him down. Kidd and Magnus both tag out and then Storm comes in with a flurry of offense that culminates in him locking on the sharpshooter. However, Rusev powers his way into a rope break and as Storm is releasing the hold, Magnus comes in and bowls him over with a clothesline. Kidd tries to attack, but Magnus body drops him over the ropes to the floor and then heads out to brawl. Meanwhile, Storm and Rusev get up and it is Rusev who gets the upper hand by nearly taking Storm’s head off with a jumping thrust kick. He follows that with a swinging side slam and then locks on The Accolade to force a submission out of Storm and pick up the win for his team.
Official Decision: Brute Force wins by submission
*Commercial Break 4*
It’s that time of the show when the central figure in the previous week’s super dramatic and incredibly shocking cliff hanger ending - see Dynamite Saturday Night (August 9) - comes to the ring to explain his actions to the entire Mash-Up Wrestling Universe. The culprit coming to the ring to explain why he did what he did is René Duprée, son of AGPW owner Emile Duprée. Yes, the son of the owner appears to be in bed with the faction – Californiacation – that wants to ruin AGPW.
Duprée explains to us that he is the mystery investor who hired Californiacation after professional wrestling’s evil Illuminati crashed and burned back in the spring. He says that he was content to watch the group working for Vince McMahon Jr. to try to destroy his father’s territory by making such a mess of it that it would either go bankrupt or be bought out for a mere pittance. However, when the Illuminati faltered everywhere other than in AGPW, and its lone standing soldiers were faced with making the decision to go home because there was no one left to butter their bread, he had to act quickly to ensure that it would stay to finish the job it set out to do. But why does he want AGPW to fail? He explains that the reason is quite simple. The owner – his own father – abandoned him last year. He let that pathetic excuse of a wrestler and human being, Leo Burke, issue a challenge for a Loser Leaves Town Match against him and then allowed then-Chief of Staff Sean Morley to accept Burke’s match request and then stack the deck against he and Sylvain so that Leo Burke would be guaranteed to keep his job, even though he was clearly the inferior wrestler, and his own son would be banished from the territory. That is why he has hired Californiacation to help him ruin his father’s company, why he was at TAKEOVER IN TORONTO to oversee their acquisition of all of AGPW’s title belts, and why he wants to make his father’s life a living hell – because a good, loving and caring father wants to do what is best for his son and throwing him is certainly not it!
Christian Cage enters the arena with a microphone in hand and says that all he hears is the voice of a whiny, childish brat who blames everyone in the world but himself for the fact he is a crappy wrestler who couldn’t prove that he was the best wrestler in Canada, let alone from his very own hometown. Leo Burke proved time and again that he was the best wrestler from Moncton, New Brunswick and he drove that point home when he pinned Duprée to force him to leave the company. And he sure as hell isn’t the best wrestling in Canada because that title belongs to “The Instant Classic,” who’s lay to claim over that title was that he was the International Heavyweight Champion until Duprée cost him his championship. By costing him his championship, Duprée made himself an enemy that plans on getting his revenge by not only forcing him to leave the company, but to retire due to the severity of the injuries he plans to inflict upon him.
After saying that, Cage charges the ring, but Duprée exits from the opposite side and decides to leave through the crowd. Cage will be back in our main event where he has the opportunity to become one half of the North American Tag Team Champions with his friend Chris Jericho, as they take on Bad Influence. You don`t want to miss this main event!
*Commercial Break 5*
VS. w/
Natalya Neidhart vs. Awesome Kong w/ Trish Stratus
Awesome Kong is accompanied to the ring by AGPW Women’s Champion, Hollywood A-Lister “THE BIG EVENT” Trish Stratus, who joins Ed Whalen and Lord Alfred Hayes on commentary during the match. Stratus is asking about the state of the women’s wrestling division and she tells us that she believes that the division is in a sorry state because there is no viable competition for her. She tells us that she’s easily turned away all challengers to her title and fully expects to go on to break Fabulous Moolah’s record setting three decades’ long title reign.
Meanwhile, in the ring, Kong clubs down Neidhart early on, but the Hart Family member has no quit in her and she valiantly fights her way back into the match with some impressive counter maneuvers. She employs a plan of attack to keep the big woman on her back. Her plan of attack features several leg whip takedowns, knee wrenches and leg grapevines. Neidhart, who is one of the stronger women on the roster, even impresses us by giving Kong a backbreaker, but only gets a 2-count on the follow up pinfall attempt. Neidhart continues her assault with a side Russian leg sweep and a pointed elbow drop from the second turnbuckle. She tries to put Kong in the sharpshooter, but fails to flip her over as Kong uses her incredible leg strength to kick Neidhart away. When she tries to clothesline Kong, Neidhart receives a nasty spinebuster! Next, Kong gives her a gorilla press slam and then a massive standing leg drop that nearly puts the match away. Kong goes for an Awesome Bomb, but Neidhart blocks from up on Kong’s shoulders. Once she’s back to the mat, she gives Kong her Nattie By Nature discus clothesline and pins her for the 1…2… shoulder up! Neidhart is in disbelief. Stratus, on commentary, is not. In fact, she isn’t worried about the outcome at all. And she was right not to worry. Kong reverses an Irish whip to corner and then executes a running avalanche splash and follows that up with an Awesome Splash from the top rope! 1…2…3! Awesome Kong adds another win to her record.
Official Decision: Awesome Kong wins by pinfall

VS.
Kaientai vs. The Brain Busters
It’s the AGPW debut of the team of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, otherwise known as The Brain Busters. These guys put on a clinic with Taka Michinoku and Sho Funaki, who are more than capable of keeping up. And they do. Although, the Brain Busters got out to the early advantage, Kaientai get a solid portion of the middle of the match to control the action after Blanchard tried to give Taka a back body drop. Taka landed on his feet and then connected with a leg-feed enziguiri kick that knocked Blanchard loopy. Taka was then able to tag out and Funaki went to work on him. Several quick tags and double-team maneuvers followed. Although Kaientai’s momentum was building, Blanchard was able to turn the tables on them. Taka made a tag to Funaki and together they put Blanchard on the top rope. They were going to go for a double superplex, but Blanchard fought them off with right hands and elbows and then gave them a noggin knocker to force them both to the mat. When Funaki started to get up, Blanchard flew from the corner with a diving sunset flip that nearly won the match. Then, Blanchard blocked a side kick attempt and gave Funaki a northern lights suplex, after which he dove into his corner to make the tag to the enforcer, Arn Anderson. He came in and hit everything that was moving. After some running clotheslines, running knee lifts, back body drops and powerslams, Double A gave Funaki the Double A Spinebuster and then tagged Blanchard back into the ring to give Funaki a spiked piledriver! Blanchard covered Funaki while Anderson fended off Taka to pick up the win by pinfall.
Official Decision: The Brain Busters win by pinfall

North American Tag Team Title Match
Bad Influence w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie vs. Vitamin C
Bad Influence w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie vs. Vitamin C
This is a fantasy wrestling dream match of epic proportions! A battle between four supremely talented individuals: Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, Chris Jericho and Christian Cage. It is everything you would hope for it to be and more. The match has moments of slow catch style wrestling, interspersed with a fast paced dynamic offense from both teams, consisting of quick double team moves, high risk maneuvers from off of the top turnbuckle or using the ropes as a springboard, with plenty of suplexes, slams and face-smashing DDTs thrown in for good measure. Plus, let’s not forget the stiff chest pounding chops or the wide array of kicks peppered throughout the contest. The match runs over 20-minutes long and sees everyone dominated by the opposing team at different points in the contest and it eventually builds into a back-and-forth frenzy of multiple near falls that brings the entire arena onto their feet. Unfortunately, when it finally looks like the good guys are about to put away the bad guys, Californiacation’s devious match stealing tactics come into play to keep the North American Tag Team Titles firmly around the waists of Bad Influence.
Things breakdown after Cage rolls out of the way of a Daniels Best Moonsault Ever attempt and tags in Jericho, who then runs him over with a Tito Santana-like flying forearm smash, which is the set up for the lionsault, leading into the Walls of Jericho! Kazarian hops into the ring, but Cage takes him out with a spear! However, “Classy” Freddy Blassie creates a distraction that prevents the referee from seeing Daniels as he taps out. Then out comes the rest of the cavalry, as “Superstar” Billy Graham, Goldust and René Duprée storm the ring and take out the referee. But where you might expect Jericho and Cage to be violently dismantled, they are not. Goldust pulls a bag of gold dust out from under the ring and tries to blind Jericho with it, but he moves out of the way and Goldust throws it in Duprée’s face by accident! This enables Jericho and Cage to fight back, culminating with Jericho giving Codebreakers to Goldust and Graham and Cage knocking out the blinded Duprée with an Unprettier. Vitamin C stands tall over the bad guys (thanks in part to another failure on the part of Goldust), but are unable to bring the North American Tag Team Titles back into the AGPW camp.
Official Decision: Vitamin C wins by disqualification
