The evening begins with the Montréal Mafia hitting the ring to field a laundry list of complaints that are directed towards Californiacation and the Illuminati. They vow to banish Vince McMahon Jr.’s AGPW representatives from the great white north and to ensure that the one and only Canadian company in mash-up wrestling remains free of bleach blond, orange glow tanned fake supermen that hail from the land of surfboards and silicone breasts. All of this amounts to a declaration of war. But while this is now the Mafia’s top priority, something that is equally important to them is regaining all of the gold in AGPW. Yvon “Le Lion” Robert wants to exercise his rematch clause to get the International Heavyweight Championship back from the temporary placeholder, Christian Cage, whom he claims would never have got his hands on the title were it not for Californiacation. Moreover, the North American Tag Team titles are a big priority for Dino Bravo and Mad Dog Vachon. They want a match against Bad Influence, tonight!
Here’s Californiacation – “Classy” Freddie Blassie marches towards the ring with “Superstar” Billy Graham, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian and Goldust in tow. It looks like a fight is about to blow up in the middle of the ring, but they stop short of the ring. Blassie gets on the microphone and shoots back at the Mafia, stating that Bravo and Vachon have already lost enough times to Bad Influence not to merit another wasted opportunity to face the North American Tag Team Champions. Moreover, Californiacation believes that “Superstar” Billy Graham – the man of the hour, tower of power, too sweet to be sour – is the man who deserves the first opportunity to challenge International Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage for his title. The Mafia are offended and ready for a fight.
Hold on just one moment. Rowdy Roddy Piper and Leo Burke arrive on the scene and announce that they have a bone to pick with Bad Influence for the way in which both of them were eliminated by Bad Influence from last week’s battle royal, under screwey circumstances. They’re out for revenge and run down the entrance aisle and attack Californiacation! Their attack prompts the Montréal Mafia to join in the attack and we have a bunch of brawling in the entrance aisle and around ringside to open our show.
Commissioner Billy Two Rivers arrives on the scene and sends all of the AGPW officials down to break things up. Then, he makes some announcements: 1) Yvon “Le Lion” Robert will be granted his rematch clause for a shot at the International Heavyweight Championship title, next week; 2) Bad Influence will defend the North American Tag Team titles, next week, against the winner of tonight’s tag team match between Leo Burke & Rowdy Roddy Piper and Dino Bravo & Mad Dog Vachon; and 3) Goldust will face Tajiri, tonight and that match will happen right now!

w/ VS. w/
Goldust w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie vs. Tajiri w/ Frenchy Martin
We come back from the commercial break with this match already under way. It’s a back and forth contest with both men showing off their excellent wrestling abilities. At one point, Goldust stuns the crowd with a hurricanrana, but the follow up pin doesn’t get a three count. Later, Tajiri takes out of the ring with savate kick and then gives him an Asai moonsault. He sends Goldust crashing into the ring steps, then props him up against the guardrail and lays into him with some chops. A charge is telegraphed by Goldust, sending Tajiri over the guardrail and into the first row of seats with a back bodydrop. Back inside of the ring, Goldust gives Tajiri shattered dreams and gets a long 2-count. A second attempt at shattered dreams is prevented when Tajiri spits green mist in Goldust’s face! He then pulls him in for the tarantula! Goldust still has the presence of mind to avoid being on the receiving end of a Japanese buzzsaw kick. He rolls to the outside to gain some separation as he tries to regain his vision. Blassie gets him some water to clean out his eyes, but as they’re dealing with that, Tajiri attacks from behind. A whip attempt is reversed and Tajiri slams into the ring post with his shoulder and then gets dropped to the ground with a jumping, running clothesline. Goldust finishes cleaning his eyes out and gets back on the attack. Back in the ring, they go and forth a bit more. The crowd really gets into it. The end game comes when Goldust shoves Tajiri to the mat, from the turnbuckle and then goes for a diving cross-body press, but gets dropkicked in mid-air! Tajiri picks up Goldust and tries to lift him up for a brainbuster, but Goldust battles back to his feet and counters with the Final Cut! He pins for 1...2... shoulder up! Goldust and "Classy" Freddie Blassie can't believe it. Blassie tells him to do it again. He lifts Tajiri for another Final Cut, but he spins right through and lands on his feet. When Goldust gets up, Tajiri gives him a brainbuster! He pins for 1...2... shoulder up! Now, Tajiri and Frenchy Martin don't believe it. However, Tajiri stands in wait for Goldust to move. As soon as he start to pick himself up, Tajiri connects with a buzzsaw kick and then hooks both of his legs! 1...2...3! Tajiri wins this match for the Montréal Mafia!
Official Decision: Tajiri wins by pinfall

The Mash-Up World Heavyweight Champion – Coming to AGPW Next Week!
w/ VS.
“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase w/ Virgil vs. Elix Skipper
This is a pretty formulaic 5-minute match that is nothing to sneeze at. Elix Skipper brings the spectacular highlight reel spots to the contest with some high flying and rope walking magic that includes a springboard Asai moonsault to take out both Ted DiBiase and Virgil. And although DiBiase appears to be calling it quits just 3-minutes into the contest, he ends up changing his mind, returning to the ring and using his technical proficiency to gain control of the match and win it with the Million Dollar Dream.
Official Decision: “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase wins by submission
After shoving a crisp $100 bill down “Primetime” Elix Skipper’s throat, the “Million Dollar Man” grabs a microphone to talk about how vast riches and how those riches enables him to buy anything the wants. He references how, last month, he bought the Piper’s Pit from Rowdy Roddy Piper, even though he publicly claimed it was not for sale and that he couldn’t be bought as proof of this. So what does DiBiase want? Despite having only recently debuted in AGPW, he wants to fast track his ascent to the top of the ranks. He’s out to get his hands on the International Heavyweight Championship and he plans on getting it by any means possible and at any price – because there’s no price too high for the Million Dollar Man!
SoCal Val is standing by with the Fabulous Moolah to ask how she feels about finally getting an opportunity to win the Women’s Championship when she challenges Trish Stratus for the strap in tonight’s main event. Fabulous Moolah remains undefeated since entering AGPW and she guarantees that she will remain unbeaten at the end of the night. She’s taking home the gold because, as she’s said from day one, she is women’s professional wrestling. She takes credit for everyone who has come since her and says that they all owe everything they have in the world to her. That includes Trish Stratus, who she says owes her the Women’s Championship. However, she’s not going to ask for it, she’s just going to enter the ring and take it from her.

AWA Tag Team Champions: The Miracle Violence Connection: Terry Gordy & Steve Williams
VS.
Lance Storm & Tyson Kidd vs. Miracle Violence Connection
Last week, Owen Hart talked Commissioner Billy Two Rivers into giving Lance Storm & Tyson Kidd an open challenge match against any team in the world. They were not too pleased about the news, but stated that they would go along with it as they are proud competitors who both possess the fighting spirit. Unfortunately for them, when they arrived in the ring to await their opponents, the team that answered the challenge was the AWA Tag Team Champions: The Miracle Violence Connection! Terry Gordy and Steve Williams surprise everyone with their appearance here in AGPW. They come to the ring and announce that they heard that an open challenge was made to the entire world as a way of proving that Storm & Kidd are the best tag team in the world, but state that they are here to prove them wrong and that they are in fact the best tag team in the world, today. The match itself goes about 4-minutes from bell-to-bell. Storm and Kidd both get a couple of desperation moves in, but the majority of the match is controlled by the AWA Tag Team Champions who demolish Storm and Kidd, staking an impressive claim to the title of best tag team in the world (especially after retaining their titles in a 30+ minute tag team gauntlet match at the recent AWA Team Challenge Series event). After several stiff punches, kicks and high-impact power moves, the Miracle Violence Connection win the match after Both men give Storm and Kidd powerbombs and then Gordy gives Kidd a high-angle belly-to-back suplex and Williams gives Storm the Oklahoma Stampede. They make stereo covers of their opponents to the get the decisive victory.
Official Decision: Miracle Violence Connection wins by pinfall

VS.
The Hurricane vs. The Mountie
This was a back and forth contest from the moment the opening bell was rung. The Mountie eventually gains control of the match after giving The Hurricane a hangman across the top rope and then hitting him with the most picture perfect dropkick in the business. The Hurricane mounts a comeback and settles in with the advantage as he rides a wave of momentum almost to the finish line. He sets up for the Hurri-chokeslam, but The Mountie gives him a blatant kick to the crotch to break it up and immediately follows it up with a DDT. The referee disqualifies him for the kick.
The Mountie seems to be unconcerned with losing the match and continues to attack The Hurricane. He decides to go for his cattle prod. This causes Rosey to rush to the ring and pull The Hurricane to safety just in the nick of time. Unfortunately for our caped crusaders, another masked, cape-wearing aficionado attacks them from behind with a steel chair. It’s the Blue Blazer! His attack enables The Mountie to stun both superheroes with his cattle prod before AGPW can arrive on the scene.
Official Decision: The Hurricane wins by disqualification
*Commercial Break 5*
VS. w/
Leo Burke & Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Mad Dog Vachon & Dino Bravo w/ Frenchy Martin
This one is a highly competitive match for a shot at the North American Tag Team Titles on next week’s show, live in Montréal. The match opens with a 4-man brawl, but settles into a battles between Rowdy Roddy Piper and Mad Dog Vachon, after Leo Burke leaps through the ropes and takes out Dino Bravo with a suicide dive. Piper and Vachon are just pounding away at each other. Nothing looks pretty or scientific in there. Piper gets an opportunity to gain the advantage after he thumbs Vachon in the eye and then takes Vachon down with a bulldog. His pin attempt is kicked out of. Piper tags out and Burke takes the match on the turn towards the more scientific aspects of wrestling as he works over Vachon’s legs. However, Vachon finds a way out of trouble when he blocks a hip toss attempt and clubs Burke down with a lariat. Vachon tags out and Bravo uses his power and strength to do damage to Burke. After giving Vachon a bit of a breather, the first North American Tag Team Champions make frequent tags to keep a fresh man in the ring and beating on Burke. They cut the ring in half and nearly win the match on a few attempts. However, attempts to put the match away for good fail. Vachon sets up for a piledriver and Burke counters it with a back body drop. Vachon tags out and Bravo stops Burke from tagging out, then tries to put him in an airplane spin, but Burke immediately gets down and executes a release German suplex! Burke makes the hot tag and Piper comes into the ring on a mission. He fights off both members of the Mafia, eventually taking them both to the floor with a clothesline each. Piper goes out to battle with Bravo. Meanwhile, Burke and Vachon brawl around ringside. Piper has a whip attempt countered into a hip toss that causes him to crash awkwardly into the guardrail. Bravo then takes him back into the ring and gives him a side belly-to-back suplex. Piper gets a shoulder up on the ensuing pin attempt. Bravo decides to give him an airplane spin, but as soon as he starts his first revolution, Piper wiggles free and gets Bravo in a sleeper hold. Bravo can’t muscle his way out of it and he eventually falls asleep, giving Rowdy Roddy Piper and Leo Burke the win and the right to face Bad Influence for the tag team titles next week!
Official Decision: Leo Burke & Rowdy Roddy Piper win by submission
*Commercial Break 6*
VS. w/
Kaientai vs. Magnus & Cesaro w/ Maryse Ouellet
Last week, Magnus and Cesaro both exited a 30-man battle royal earlier than some may have expected. This was due to Rowdy Roddy Piper causing a double team maneuver to backfire, which resulted in Cesaro dropkicking Magnus, which in turn led to him be tossed out of the ring. Afterwards, Magnus distracted his partner by arguing with him just long enough for him to also get eliminated from the match. Maryse promises that her team has patched things up and that they remain on the same page. However, bad luck leads to Kaientai getting the upset victory here, after Taka Michinoku gets out of the way of a charging Cesaro, which leads to his charging European uppercut connecting with Magnus! Cesaro doesn’t waste time checking on his partner as he continues to battle his opponents. He and Funaki end up out on the floor, where Cesaro does a number on the Kung Fu master. Meanwhile, Taka gives Magnus the Michinoku Driver and pins him for the victory! Following the match, Maryse has some choice words for Cesaro, but because he knows five languages, he talks back. Meanwhile, Cesaro tries to help Magnus up, but he pushes his partner away and decides to leave under his own power, leaving Maryse caught in the middle of a tag team that appears to be coming apart at the seams.
Official Decision: Kaientai wins by pinfall

Trish Stratus w/ Awesome Kong & “Classy” Freddie Blassie vs. The Fabulous Moolah
The odds are stacked against The Fabulous Moolah winning the Women’s Championship as she comes into this match. That is because the title can only switch hands via pinfall or submission and, as if that wasn’t enough, The Hollywood A-Lister, “Top Shelf” Trish Stratus has Awesome Kong and “Classy” Freddie Blassie in her corner. Still, if Moolah is concerned about the odds, she doesn’t show it. The flies in the face of all of that and projects an air of confidence that is unmatched by most. When they finally lock up, Moolah overpowers Trish and tosses her across the ring not once, not twice, but thrice! Trish tries to doctor up charges of illegal hairpulls, but the referee doesn’t buy them. Moolah, normally on the receiving end of boos, is the fan favourite in tonight’s main event. The crowd seems to have taken to wanting anyone to take the strap off of the Canadian who has transplanted herself into California. Moolah dominates in the early going, mixing some punches and stiff chops in with a focus on applying headlocks to champion. Trish can’t seem to find a move in edgewise and Moolah parlays her early headlock heavy approach into a sustained offense that transitions into more damaging maneuvers. The fans are loving it, but her momentum is halted after opening the first 5-minutes of the match in complete control when Awesome Kong pulls Trish out of the ring after she hits the turnbuckle so hard that she falls to the mat. Kong hands over the champion to Blassie and they begin to walk away from the ring. Moolah heads towards the ropes, but stops as Awesome Kong climbs onto the ring apron as a roadblock. It looks like Moolah is going to win this match via countout.
That is, until Gail Kim and Chyna appear at the entrance aisle to block Trish’s path to freedom. Awesome Kong gets the word to turn around. She sees Gail and Chyna blocking Trish’s escape route and leaves the apron to go deal with that problem. Of course, this enables Moolah to attack Trish from behind and bring her back to the ring. When Kong attempts to stop Moolah, she’s met with thunderous right hands from Chyna! Moolah tosses Trish into the ring, then climbs onto the ring apron, but gets a dropkick to the midsection. Trish brings Moolah in through the ropes and executes Randy Orton’s signature rope-assisted DDT! She covers, but Moolah kicks out. Now, Trish is in the driver’s seat. As she mounts a comeback, Chyna and Awesome Kong have fought their way backstage and Gail and Blassie have been ejected and are being escorted away from the ringside area by AGPW officials. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Trish goes for a Stratusfaction, but Moolah counters it into an atomic drop and then knocks Trish down with a clothesline. She picks up Trish and gives her the Moolah Whip half way across the ring! Moolah climbs up the turnbuckle and waits for Trish to get up before hitting her with a missile dropkick! Moolah covers her. 1…2… Awesome Kong returns just in time to make the save! The referee calls for the bell, disqualifying Trish Stratus. Chyna and Gail are quick return and the ongoing war between Gail Kim & Chyna and Trish Stratus & Awesome Kong continues. The referee can’t get control of anything. Meanwhile, Fabulous Moolah slides away unnoticed, but doesn’t leave ringside.
Finally, the fighting stops when Commissioner Billy Two Rivers arrives on the scene to announce that he’s seen enough of Trish escaping defeat thanks to Awesome Kong. That’s why, he’s announcing that at JOURNEY TO GREATNESS, Trish Stratus will defend her title in a triple threat match against Gail Kim and Fabulous Moolah and everyone else will be banned from ringside! Trish loses her cool over this announcement, but is shut up pretty quickly when Moolah returns to the ring and serves up a hard chairshot to her back! Kong tries to attack, but Chyna cuts her off. Moolah then whacks Gail with the chair before leaving the ring. We close the show with shots of Moolah walking away from ringside, Trish Stratus and Gail Kim knocked out cold, and Chyna and Awesome Kong brawling at ringside.
Official Decision: The Fabulous Moolah wins by disqualification
