The Hurricane w/ Mighty Molly vs. “Marvelous” Marc Mero w/ Candice Michelle
This a great 7-minute show opener to get the crowd pumped up Both men take to the air in this one, taking turns leaping to the outside to take out their opponent. The match keeps a quick pace for the most part and sees both men keep their use of rest holds to a minimum. Near the end of the match, Mero goes for a Merosault, but lands on The Hurricane’s knees. The Hurricane nearly wins the match by connecting with a shining wizard. After that, he goes to the top rope and waits for Mero to get up before going airborne. However, it’s a mistake that costs him dearly, as Mero strikes him in mid-flight with a dropkick. Then, he gives The Hurricane a bodyslam and finishes him off by going to the top rope and executing the Marvelocity shooting star press!
Official Decision: “Marvelous” Marc Mero wins by pinfall
After the match, “Marvelous” Marc Mero cuts a promo talking about how HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX can’t be pay-per-view without his Marvelocity. So he issues an open challenge to anyone who doesn’t already have a match and wants to experience what it’s like to be on the big stage against a big star. However, he warns that whoever answers his challenge will face certain defeat.
Who should answer the challenge? The Samoan Submission Machine – Samoa Joe! He walks out to the ring and Mero immediately starts back pedalling on his challenge. Joe grabs the microphone from out of his hands and says that he wants to experience what it’s like to be in the ring on the big stage against a big star and he doesn’t have a match yet, so it’s on! Then, he tosses the mic down and goes to walk away. Candice Michelle blocks his exit from the ring and Mero attacks him from behind. Mero goes for a whip, but Joe reverses it and gives him a Samoan drop! Before he can do anything else, Candice Michelle grabs Mero and drags him out to the floor and to safety. Joe picks up the mic and has one final thing to say to Mero – Joe’s gonna kill you at HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX!

SoCal Val is standing by with The Fabulous Moolah, who has one single message for everyone: she’s insulted that Gail Kim is receiving a shot at Trish Stratus’ Women’s Championship before she will. She wishes to remind us all that she defeated Kim four weeks ago and Kim has done absolutely nothing that could even vaguely be considered noteworthy since then. Moolah says that the title shot and, in fact, the very title belt itself should belong to her. However, when asked whether Gail Kim should worry about whether she’s a marked woman tonight, Moolah says that she won’t be getting involved in tonight’s match. She’s not interested in wasting her energy on something so pety and low. However, she says that she will be watching and, if the timing proves right, she’ll do what is necessary to prove to the entire world that Gail Kim is pour excuse for a challenger to the title and that Trish Stratus isn’t half the champion that Moolah is.
Jeremy Borash is standing by with “The Iceman” Dean Malenko to get his thoughts on his upcoming match against “Superstar” Billy Graham and his thoughts about how he’ll do in next week’s Elimination Champion match for the International Heavyweight Championship. Malenko tells us that he’s ready for Graham. He can see through and past all of the glamour and glitz of his Southern Californian lifestyle and sees nothing to the man or his Californiacation movement. There’s a lot there on the surface, but once you chip away at it, you’ll find there’s nothing to be afraid of. Malenko will find his weak spot, chip away at it and blow the hole wide open for the win. As for next week, he feels like he’s more than ready to regain the title. The Chamber is a cold unforgiving environment perfectly suited to an Iceman and that is why he stands the best chance of winning the International Heavyweight Championship at HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX.
SoCal Val is now standing by with “Superstar” Billy Graham and “Classy” Freddie Blassie to ask Graham about his upcoming match with “The Iceman” Dean Malenko and next week’s Elimination Chamber match. Blassie tells us all that Graham is the man to beat not only tonight, but every night. However, there’s just one problem with that – he’s the man who can’t be beat! The man of the hour, the tower of power, too sweet to be sour, he’s proven time and again why being Californian gives you the biggest advantage in the world. It turns ordinary men into somebodies and extraordinary men into superstars of mythical proportions! Billy Graham, he claims is such a man. Graham continues by saying that there isn’t a vanilla midget on the planet with a snowball’s chance in hell of defeating him. Just like ice cannot survive under the warm California sun, Dean Malenko cannot survive inside of the squared-circle with “Superstar” Billy Graham. Tonight’s match will be but a tune up and showcase to the rest of world to show everyone why Billy Graham will become the International Heavyweight Champion on April 5 at HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX!

“The Iceman” Dean Malenko vs. “Superstar” Billy Graham w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie
This one is a big match that pits the smaller, colder and more calculating, Dean Malenko, versus the larger than life, Billy Graham. It’s a good match that sees Graham striped of his cocky and brash attitude, which is on full display in the early moments of the match as he uses his power and strength to throw Malenko around and make him look like less than a formidable opponent. However, there is no quit in Malenko and he uses his superior athleticism and technical wrestling acumen to battle back into the match and take control of it for a long time. He decides to focus on picking apart Graham’s left knee. Graham struggles to keep the pesky Iceman at bay as his knee is softened up and saps him of some of his strength. Graham brings the match back into his favour thanks to a referee distraction by “Classy” Freddie Blassie, which allows him to pull off a low blow on Malenko. From there, Graham takes the fight to the outsight, doing a considerable amount of damage to his opponent in a short time. Graham looks to win the match after rolling Malenko back into the ring and trying to pin him with a roll-up and his own feet on the middle rope for added leverage, but the referee sees it and gives him a stern warning. The ploy is a terrible miscalculation, as it gives Malenko enough time to recover and fight back. Malenko strings together some good offense, culminating in a gutwrench suplex, then a diving hurricanrana from the top rope, and then the Texas cloverleaf. Graham shows off his awesome upper body strength by pushing up off of the mat and draggin himself and Malenko away from the center of the ring for a rope break. Blassie climbs onto the ring apron to run another distraction, this time grabbing Malenko’s attention. The referee tries to get in the middle of it, but Malenko still slugs Blassie, knocking him off of the apron. Blassie gets up quickly and tries to enter the ring. With the referee trying to keep him out of the ring, we see Graham knock Malenko out with a fist adorned by brass knuckles! Graham throws the evidence into the crowd and pins for the 3-count and the crooked win!
Official Decision: “Superstar” Billy Graham wins by pinfall

VS.
Gail Kim vs. Portia Perez
This one is pretty good 6-minute television match featuring two wrestlers whose style and movesets compliment each other fairly well. Perez gets a few short offensive flurries in, but the match is mostly just a chance for Kim to showcase her talent and prove why she is a credible threat to end Trish Stratus’ title reign. Kim wins the match with her signature move, Eat Defeat.
Official Decision: Gail Kim wins by pinfall
Gail Kim’s victory celebration is cut short by the appearance of Trish Stratus and Awesome Kong at the AGPW ring entrance set. Stratus has a microphone in hand and tells Kim that for every poor decision and action that a person makes, there are negative consequences, and hers is about to happen. Awesome Kong marches to the ring and enters. Kim isn’t sure where to go. She runs to attack, but Kong blocks and just yanks back on her hair.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Kong, Chyna came out and attacked Stratus. Just as Kong is getting ready to destroy Kim, Chyna takes the microphone and tells Kong to turn back and look to the ring entrance set. She turns around just in time to witness Chyna throw the microphone down and give Stratus a pedigree! Kong throws Kim aside and leaves the ring. Chyna meets her half way up the entrance aisle and the fists are flying! It takes over a dozen officials to swarm the area to pry them apart.
What will happen when Trish Stratus defends the Women’s Championship against Gail Kim at HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX? Tune in next week to find out!

Jeremy Borash is standing by with Leo Burke to get his thoughts about his upcoming match against “Macho Man” Randy Savage and next week’s elimination chamber match. Burke says that he’s been in many tough matches over the years, but maybe none tougher than the two that he’s about to have tonight and next week. Burke says that Savage is one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time and facing him will be a test like no other. He can’t say that he knows for sure who will come out on top, but he will give everything he has to prove to the world that he belongs in the same class as the Macho Man. Burke has never competed in an elimination chamber. He’s had his share of cage matches, but nothing quite like this. This match might take years off of his career, but the prize at the end of all of that gruelling punishment will be well worth it. He’s gunning for the title and hopes to finally win it at HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX.
SoCal Val is standing by with Christian Cage to pick his brain about his match against the International Heavyweight Champion, Yvon “Le Lion” Robert, and next week’s elimination chamber match. Cage says that Le Lion is nothing to be afraid of. He may stand tall at the top of the animal kingdom. However, even the greatest of animals have all ended up caged in a zoo. This lion can be tamed and he will prove it tonight. Then, he’ll ride that wave of momentum into HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX and defeat each and every one of the other five men in the elimination chamber to become the next AGPW International Heavyweight Champion – because that’s how he rolls!
Jeremy Borash is standing by with the International Heavyweight Champion, Yvon “Le Lion” Robert, and his manager, Frenchy Martin, to ask them about Robert’s match with Christian Cage and next week’s elimination chamber match. Robert and Martin are united in their message. Cage stands zero chance of winning tonight. Moreover, Robert couldn’t be in a better position to enter the elimination chamber and walk out of still as your AGPW International Heavyweight Champion, thanks to his secured position as the sixth and final entrant into the match. Le Lion is today and forever will remain the king of the wrestling jungle!
SoCal Val is standing by with “Macho Man” Randy Savage to ask him about his upcoming match with Leo Burke and next week’s elimination chamber match. The Macho Man says that there are very few individuals in this game worthy of earning the respect and adulation of the fans and their fellow peers. One might even say that not even he’s worthy of it. However, Leo Burke is one such man. But that doesn’t mean that being a respectable individual means that he’ll get an easy ride when he enters the ring with the Macho Man. The madness has recently been unleashed by others and he’s going to try to keep a lid on it tonight, but he fully expects that lid to pop off come the elimination chamber, where he will enter into the most unforgiving steel cage structure that he’s ever walked into and he will throw his fists and elbows at everything in his sight on the way to becoming the next International Heavyweight Champion! At HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX, the reign of madness begins!

VS. w/
Leo Burke vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth
A workrate dream match for the ages – offered on free weekly TV and thrown smack dab into the middle of our broadcast! Has AGPW lost its mind? Maybe, it has. That is for you to decide. There’s no denying that this one isn’t worth the price of admission alone. It’s a solid back-and-forth contest featuring two fan favourites whose tag team partnership last week fell apart over both men trying to earn a pinfall on Yvon “Le Lion” Robert. That was because whoever could successful pin him would be guaranteed the final entry into next week’s elimination chamber match for the International Heavyweight Championship. Anyhow, this match is hard fought. Again, the action goes back-and-forth. Burke’s technical wrestling acumen is solidly on display in this one. He also shows off his excellent brawling skills. Savage’s unique brand of technical, brawling and high-flying abilities all enter into play in this one. While both men are fan favourites, it is perhaps the Macho Man who gets a slight edge in fan support as the occasional “U-S-A! U-S-A!” chant can be heard at various points during this match. The action spills out to the floor on more than one occasion. Burke stuns the crowd by throwing Savage through the French commentary table with a double-underhook suplex that he set up while standing on the English commentary table. However, he isn’t able to parlay this incredible spot into a victory. Sometime later, The Macho Man provides us with a highlight reel spot when he lays Burke out on the English commentary table and goes crashing through the table with a flying elbow drop off of the top turnbuckle! Both men turn out all of the stops in this one, even with it being just one week out from both of them entering into a gruelling elimination chamber match. After 23-minutes of fist-pounding, heart-stopping action, the ending of the match occurs when Savage goes for a running clothesline. Burke ducks it, then runs to the ropes. Both men meet each other in the center of the ring with stiff running, jumping clotheslines. With each man knocked down on their backs and with one arm over the other man’s chest, the referee opts not to count a pinfall as they’re both pinned and gives them a standing 10-count. Neither man answers the count. The match is declared a draw. Both men receive a standing ovation, give each other a handshake of mutual respect and leave the arena to the crowd chanting “THAT WAS AWESOME!”
Official Decision: This Match Ends in a Draw

It’s time for the Piper’s Pit with its host, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, and his co-host, Virgil!
What is going on? Ted DiBiase and Virgil are out here to host the Piper’s Pit! Where is Rowdy Roddy Piper? A chorus of boos rains down on the Million Dollar Man as he explains that he owns now owns the Piper’s Pit. He bought the show earlier this morning. As DiBiase likes to remind us all, everybody has a price and he finally discovered the Hot Rod’s price and paid it. It was more money than he would have liked to pay for it, but fortunately, money is no object to the Million Dollar Man, and his various investments and holdings will no doubt reproduce all of the money he spent buying this pathetic excuse for a talk show by the end of tomorrow’s business day!
Now, to celebrate the debut episode of the new and improved Piper’s Pit, the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Virgil are pleased to welcome the most iconic and important guest in the history of the Piper’s Pit: Mash-Up World Heavyweight Champion, Hollywood Hulk Hogan!
DiBiase and Virgil welcome the Mash-Up World Champion and give him an opportunity to cut a promo to promote his upcoming title defense against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at WWE’s showcase of the immortals - WRESTLEMANIA! Hogan has some choice words for the rattlesnake, telling him that the Illuminati is a bigger force than anything he’s ever had to face in his life. And while Austin has a reputation for beating the odds more often than not, this is without a doubt one of those times when he will not. All of the real power in the Mash-Up Wrestling Universe belongs to Hollywood Hulk Hogan that there is no way he will walk into WRESTLEMANIA with the title and then walk out of it without the title. Hogan promises that at WRESTLEMANIA the rattlesnake will have the life choked out of him by his 24-inch pythons!
While DiBiase and Virgil share a laugh with Hogan, at the expense of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rowdy Roddy Piper crashes the set of the show he sold to DiBiase. He approaches from behind DiBiase and starts spraying a fire extinguisher in the direction of Hogan, causing him to jump out of his seat. Virgil goes to deal with Piper, but takes a hard body blow from the fire extinguisher, knocking him down and out. Piper tells DiBiase to get off of the set of his show. DiBiase says that he bought it fairly and that it is Piper who must leave. Piper says that he never sold his show to anybody and attacks DiBiase. The two of them throw fists at each other until Hogan removes the leather belt from around his waist and starts whipping Piper across the back! This allows DiBiase to get the upperhand and together, the Million Dollar Man and the Mash Up World Heavyweight Champion lay Piper to waist. The segment ends with Ted DiBiase announcing that Rowdy Roddy Piper has another beating at the hands of the Million Dollar Man in store for him at HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX and Hollywood Hulk Hogan pledging to destroy “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at WRESTLEMANIA just like he has destroyed Piper here tonight!

Yvon “Le Lion” Robert w/ Frenchy Martin vs. Christian Cage
Our main event features the contrasting styles of the old-time classical catch wrestling stylings of Yvon “Le Lion” Robert and the modern technical wrestling abilities of Christian Cage, who is also quite adept at taking high riskers in the air, too. In the early going, Cage shocks Robert by playing his catch wrestling game. Robert wants to keep Cage grounded, but he stays with him every step of the way, matching him move for move, countering and reversing his holds. Robert gets a bit frustrated by this and decides to leave the ring to consult with Frenchy Martin. When he returns to the ring, he decides that brawling will be the way to go to gain an advantage on The Instant Classic. Robert fells his opponent with several punches to the jaw and jabs to the body. He kicks away at him while he’s down. Cornering Cage, Robert stomps a mudhole into his opponent. Now with the advantage, he works in a few suplexes and then goes back to the mat game, this time with greater success. Robert starts doing what he does best by piling on the pain of various holds to the arms and shoulders, preparing Cage for his arm-trap headscissors. Cage finds an opportunity to battle back after taking a series of knife edge chops in the corner. Robert goes for a cross-corner whip and Cage counters with a corner springboard sunset flip for a surprise 2-count. Cage ducks a running clothesline attempt and takes the International Heavyweight Champion down with a falling reverse DDT that also gets a 2-count. Now, Cage uses his speed to his advantage, rallying with a series of moves that sways the contest back into his favour. Cage decides to go up top for a frog splash, but ends up landing on Robert’s knees. Robert, takes that opportunity to slap on his arm-trap headscissors. However, Christian is too close to the ropes and gets his feet on them. Robert won’t let up. As soon as Cage gets to his feet, Robert sends him over the top rope with a clothesline. While the referee holds Robert back from going outside, Martin takes the opportunity to strike Cage with a couple of swings from his Québec flag stick across Cage’s back, before rolling him into the ring. Robert pins, but Cage gets a shoulder up, so Robert hooks a leg on a second pin attempt, which Cage then kicks out of! Robert tries to keep the match firmly in his favour, but it enters into a back-and-forth phase with each man hitting moves and attempting to pin his opponent, but failing to get a three count. The conclusion of this 2.5-3 minute sequence of impact moves followed by pinfalls ends with Cage executing the Unprettier! It looks like certain victory for him now, but Robert manages to get his shoulder up at the last possible moment!
However, there’s no chance of securing a clean win, as what follows is a series of run-ins from the Montréal Mafia. This draws Californiacation out to the ring, not so much to save Cage, but just to attack the Mafia. Eventually, Dean Malenko, Leo Burke and Randy Savage all rush down to the ring and we close our show with a hectic brawl featuring Mafioso, Californians and all of the participants of next week’s elimination chamber main event at HELLFIRE IN HALIFAX engaged in a pier six slobberknocker! Order the show on pay-per-view! It’s bound to be a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy!
Official Decision: Christian Cage wins by disqualification
