Tonight, we’re live from Québec City, Québec. Expect the Montréal Mafia to be welcomed as heroes in their home province. However, the group has not done a lot as of late to earn the adoration of this crowd. Hints of in-fighting have emerged, Dino Bravo and Mad Dog Vachon lost their long-held North American Tag Team Championship Titles a month ago and Yvon “Le Lion” Robert maintains a tenuous grasp of the International Heavyweight Championship, which he must defend against five other men inside of the elimination chamber just three weeks from now. However, when AGPW comes to you live that often means big things are afoot. What will be in store for this ruckus crowd of over 11,500 fans? Let’s find out!
***
Our show opening segment opens with the Montréal Mafia coming to the ring to a warm reception from the fans. Mafia chants ring throughout the 60-year old arena. Although appreciative of their reception from the fans, don’t think for a moment that this is a group that is happy – not like the last time they stepped out in front of a Québec City crowd. This is a group with much to be unhappy about. Frenchy Martin, manager and mouthpiece of la mafia, goes on a tirade directed at Commissioner Billy Two Rivers, upper management and Californiacation, claiming a conspiracy is afoot to hand the region of the spray-tan ‘roid junkies from the Pacific Coast, and sell the company off to Vince McMahon Jr. He cries out that the powers that be are trying to conspire against his group because they can’t handle the fact that a family of Frenchmen (and one Japanese Buzzsaw) could be so dominant. Martin plays up the us against the world theme that is so often played out in local politics, which is particularly appropriate consider that Québec is in the throes of a provincial election.
Commissioner Billy Two Rivers has certainly heard all that he cares to hear on this night. He arrives on the scene and expresses his disappointment in the group for cutting a promo with politically divisive overtones. Two Rivers, himself, is a proud Québecer who hails from Kahnawake, a Canadian First Nations community on the southern shores of the St-Laurent River, opposite the Island of Montréal. Furthermore, he takes issue with Martin making an attack on his character. Two Rivers is fair man who must balance the needs of the wrestlers with the goal of giving the fans the best show possible. So with that in mind, he has come out here to announce that all six elimination chamber contestants will be in action tonight, right here, in Québec City! First, he’s going to give the current International Heavyweight Champion, Yvon “Le Lion” Robert, the opportunity to secure the sixth and final entry into the elimination chamber when he goes one-on-one against the former International Heavyweight Champion, “The Iceman” Dean Malenko! Plus, there will be a 6-man tag team match featuring Leo Burke, Christian Cage and “Macho Man” Randy Savage versus “Superstar” Billy Graham, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian! The Montréal Mafia likes that announcement and the fans are in a frenzy as well.
Can elimination chamber opponents Leo Burke, Christian Cage and “Macho Man” Randy Savage work together to combat and defeat a common enemy in Californiacation? And who will be guaranteed the final entry into the elimination chamber – Yvon Robert or Dean Malenko? Stay tuned to find out!

Lance Cade vs. Bo Dallas
Last week, Lance Cade’s tag team partner, Trevor Murdoch, competed in and won a match in singles competition. This week, it is his turn to compete in singles action, taking on the young and eager Bo Dallas. Cade is fan favourite in this one, although both men act the part of faces. Dallas, who maintains that he has legions of fans known as the BOlievers, is soundly booed by the fans. The antipathy for his babyface act is more than apparent. It is loud and, try as they might to ignore it, Ed Whalen and Lord Alfred Hayes are forced to acknowledge the hostile crowd reaction to Dallas. The action goes back-and-forth early on, but Cade eventually takes control of the match. He’s on offense for much of the match, but he fails to put away Bo Dallas at each and every turn. Dallas mounts a late match rally. His comeback receives jeers from the crowd. A missed running clothesline attempt by Dallas leads to a superkick by Cade. However, Dallas ducks it and the kick makes contact with the passing by referee. Dallas executes a springboard bulldog and covers. With the referee down, Dallas gets up to check on him, but gets run over by Chris Hero, who delivers a knockout blow in the form of a Hangman’s Elbow, much to the delight of the crowd.
Hero leaves just as quickly as he came. Cade gets up, not having witnessed the attack, and scoops up Dallas for a bodyslam. He goes to the top rope and lands a diving elbow drop. The referee is back on the job and counts the pinfall to three to give Cade the win.
Official Decision: Lance Cade wins by pinfall
SoCal Val is standing by with The Fabulous Moolah to ask her who she speculates will be Awesome Kong’s opponent in tonight’s contract match. Moolah says that she hasn’t heard anything about who it will be, but hopes that it will be her because, according to her, she’s the only woman on the planet capable of taming that beast. Turning her attention to Awesome Kong’s running mate, Trish Stratus, the so-called AGPW Women’s Champion, Moolah says that there won’t be an official AGPW Women’s Champion until a title match has been contested with her in it. And we all know what happens when Moolah is in a match – she wins it!

Owen Hart vs. “Killer” Karl Krupp w/ “The Acadiant Giant” Kurrgan
Although intimidating enough on his own, “Killer” Karl Krupp comes to the ring accompanied by his tag team partner and accomplice in doling out punishment and pain, the 7-foot, 350-pound Acadian Giant, Kurrgan. Owen Hart comes to this match alone. The crowd reaction is mixed as the fans appear to like both men. Claw chants are heard throughout the crowd and our commentary team comment on how being Québec is like being in some kind of bizarre world of wrestling where everything up is down and everything down is up. Krupp comes up swinging, but Hart’s speed allows him to avoid the heavy hitter and take the early lead on offense. Krupp fights back, but doesn’t really gain a sustained advantage, as a poor decision to set up for the back body drop leads to Hart taking his opponent down with a sunset flip for a 2-count. When they get up, Hart throws punches and goes for a whip. Krupp receives and takes him down with a big boot. Krupp tries tossing Hart out of the ring, but Hart shows off his strength and acrobatic skills with his signature lift up and over the ropes. However, before fully going over the top, Kurrgan grabs him by the head with his massive hand and delivers a thunderous right hand to his jaw! Krupp uses this to take advantage.
Lance Storm and Tyson Kidd rush out from the back. Krupp points them out to the referee, who goes to deal with them, as they complain about Kurrgan’s interference, which went undetected by the referee. While all of this is going on, Krupp has Hart in the corner and he’s choking him out with the tag team turnbuckle string and driving his knee into Hart’s abdomen. Krupp’s actions do undetected long enough to cut off the air to Hart’s head and cause him to lose consciousness. Meanwhile, the referee tosses Storm, Kidd and Kurrgan from ringside. Several officials come down and get between them to prevent a fight from breaking out. Krupp applies his Iron Claw to an unconscious Owen Hart. The referee lifts his hand three times, and three times it falls, so he awards the match to “Killer” Karl Krupp.
Official Decision: “Killer” Karl Krupp wins by submission

6-Man Tag Team Match
Leo Burke, Christian Cage & Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth vs. Californiacation w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie
Leo Burke, Christian Cage & Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth vs. Californiacation w/ “Classy” Freddie Blassie
This huge main event worthy 6-man tag team match is happening right now, smack dab in the middle of our show! Tense mid-ring 6-man stare down raises goosebumps on the back of every fan’s neck. The arena has been whipped into a frenzy and no one has even touched one of his opponents yet. The action begins when Savage notices Blassie approaching Elizabeth and making lewd remarks at her. After he points and threatens to cold cock Blassie, Graham drops Savage with a thunderous right hand. A pier six brawl ensues. The referee can’t get a handle on anything. The action spills out of the ring and although the bell has already rung, with no established legal men, the referee doesn’t count anyone out. Instead, he follows the action outside and pleasds with anyone who will listen to him to get back into the ring. Both the French and English announce team tables sees wrestlers’ faces getting bounced off of them, but neither one is broken. Finally, Cage throws Daniels into the ring and follows him to get things back on track. Eventually, all of the match’s participants end up back on the ring apron. Frequent tags are made by both teams. Everyone sees some time inside of the ring. Daniels plays the role of the heel punching bag in the early part of the match. Burke swaps spots with him to become the face in peril later on in the match. After suffering through an intense bearhug from Graham, but refusing to quit, Burke breaks it, serves up some punches, then goes for a whip. It’s reversed. Burke telegraphs the body drop set up with a sunset flip. 2-count! They get up and Burke ducks a haymaker, then gives Graham an atomic drop and leaps across the ring to make the hot tag to the Macho Man! Savage comes in and cleans house. He runs over everything in sight. Daniels and Kazarian are knocked off of the ring apron. Graham is getting knocked around all over the place and is pleading for leniency, but he’ll get none. A dropkick to the face and vertical suplex later and the Macho Man is going up to the top rope. Kazarian yanks the rope out from under his feet. A brawl breaks out with Burke going after Daniels and Cage attacking Kazarian. In the ring, Graham goes to the top rope and sets up for a superplex, but Savage fights him off and knocks him to the mat. He goes for the diving elbow drop, but Graham rolls out of the way! Blassie sneaks his cane into the ring and provides a distraction for Graham to crack Savage over the head with Blassie’s cane! Back outside, Burke and Daniels and brawling into the crowd and Cage gives Kazarian the Unprettier on the French commentary table! Graham pins Savage. 1…2…3! Californiacation steal the win away on this night!
Official Decision: Californiacation wins by pinfall
*Commercial Break 4*
SoCal Val is standing by with Hollywood A-lister and the current holder of the BCCW Women’s Championship title, “Top Shelf” Trish Stratus, who is with her hired muscle, the truly amazing, Awesome Kong. Trish and Kong are both extremely confident that Awesome Kong will earn her AGPW contract will a decisive victory over whoever her opponent will be. In their eyes, Kong is the truly greatest threat to all female wrestlers the world over. There is no one – most of all not the Fabulous Moolah or Gail Kim – who can put Kong down on the mat for three seconds flat.
We head back to the onsite medic’s room, where Owen Hart is receiving oxygen, as a result of being choked to unconsciousness by “Killer” Karl Krupp. He’s awake and alert when Lance Storm and Tyson Kidd show up to check on him. Hart is angry and asks them why they didn’t come down to even things out at ringside. He says that Kurrgan was too much of distraction that it allowed Krupp to nearly choke him to death. Storm and Kidd tell him that they came down to the ring to come to his aid, but the referee got in the way. Hart wonders whether they are being honest or paying him back for not being able to help them out when Dean Malenko was assaulting them last week when he was allegedly detained in a meeting with Commissioner Two Rivers. Storm and Kidd are offended that he would even think that, but try to make amends and tell him that they come down to help. Hart begrudgingly accepts their story and tells them there are no hard feelings, although his eyes seem to tell another story.
We cut to a quick backstage meeting between AGPW Commissioner Billy Two Rivers and Network Representative Cyrus, the latter of whom congratulates the former for his fantastic booking of tonight’s show. He gives him a backhanded compliment, saying that it seems as though Two Rivers has finally figured out how to actually do his job! Cyrus is very impressed with tonight’s card: Awesome Kong versus a mystery opponent, Burke, Cage & Savage versus Californiacation and Robert versus Malenko. He can smell the ratings as we speak! But, now he wants to discuss the women’s title situation. Cyrus thinks the best thing to make money and get more ratings is to turn the BCCW title into the AGPW title and allow the current champion to continue her title reign, stating that she already fought for and earned the title against the woman who held the longest undefeated streak in the history of Mash-Up Wrestling’s women’s competition. Plus, she’s a Hollywood A-lister, which makes her a ratings juggernaut! Two Rivers disagrees and thinks that the integrity of the company would be severely diminished if he allowed that to happen. What will become of the Women’s Championship? Hopefully, we’ll find out soon!
Jeremy Borash is standing by with an irate Rowdy Roddy Piper. We get a video recap of last week’s Piper’s Pit, which ended with Piper receiving multiple suplexes on the arena floor from “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase and the set of his show being dismantled or ‘shut down’ by some of the members of the Dynamite Saturday Night production crew, but only after receiving bribes from Virgil. Piper begins by saying that although he has a bad back, today, he still came in to the arena. He still showed up to work. He didn’t spend any nights in the hospital, let alone step foot inside of a hospital or even bother seeing a doctor for his sore back, unlike the “Million Dollar Wimp,” who couldn’t make it into the arena tonight because he had to go seek medical attention for a harmless paper cut! Piper, continues, by noting how Dibiase would have you believe that everyone and anyone can be bought for the right price. Well, as we saw last week, he might have bought off CityTV’s production crew, but he didn’t buy off Piper! Piper notes how he took Dibiase’s money and threw it back at him, then he finishes off the interview by stating that if Dibiase ever tries to buy him again, he’ll shove Dibiase’s money straight down his throat!

The Hurricane & Rosey w/ Mighty Molly vs. Magnus & Cesaro w/ Maryse Ouellet
Here’s a fun tag team match that pits the ever-popular superheroes versus Maryse Ouellet’s top notch overseas talent. The Hurricane and Rosey get the advantage and stymie their opponents at every opportunity in the early going. However, after having his whip attempt reversed, The Hurricane goes for a running cross-body only to get caught and thrown across the ring with a fallaway slam by Magnus. He tags out and Cesaro comes in to do a good deal of damage. Frequent tags by Magnus and Cesaro, along with a few double team attacks, keep them in the driver’s seat. The Hurricane takes a large beating, but always finds a way to kick out. Our superhero turns the corner, however, after getting whipped to the ropes and holding onto them to avoid a Magnus dropkick. Magnus gets to his feet and The Hurricane runs towards him and then by him, ducking a clothesline. He makes the tag to Rosey while bouncing off of the ropes. The Hurricane goes for a cross-body and again Magnus catches him. However, this time, Rosey is following close behind with a running body splash and that’s almost 600-pounds falling onto Magnus’ chest. The Swiss Superman comes in to battle against our pair of caped crusaders, but Rosey proves up to the challenge, giving Cesaro a swinging sideslam. Rosey tags out again, picks up Magnus and plants him into the mat with a powerbomb as Hurricane executes a springboard sommersault leg drop and pins. 1…2… Cesaro makes the save. He sends Hurricane to the ropes and lifts him high into the air for a Very European Uppercut! Rosey charges at him, but gets a spinebuster, which is immediately followed by the Cesaro Swing! The crowd counts along. That’s a 400-pound superhero being spun around the ring to the count of fifteen! Cesaro, then boots Rosey to the outside and leaves the ring to continue stomping on him as Magnus and The Hurricane exchange blows. The Hurricane grabs Magnus by the neck for the Hurri-chokeslam, but some back elbows breaks it up and then Magnus picks up The Hurricane and gives him the Tormentum! He pins and gets the 3-count to collect the win for his team.
Official Decision: Magnus & Cesaro win by pinfall
Jeremy Borash catches up with Bo Dallas backstage and asks him for his reaction to being the victim of an attack by Chris Hero, which ultimately cost him his match against Lance Cade. Dallas thanks Borash for his concern and wants to tell of his faithful BOlievers that he is absolutely fine. It is unfortunate that he lost his match and tells Borash that he doesn’t understand why Hero would attack him. After all, just last week, he came out to ringside during Hero’s match to give him a strong show of support. Dallas says that he just wants to do the right and honourable thing, so he will try to talk to Hero in an effort to patch things up. When asked what he would say to Hero, Dallas tells Borash that he would tell him that he forgives him for what happened tonight and hopes that they can move on from this unfortunate incident.

Only 17 Days Until the Launch of the Mash-Up Network – You Don’t Want to Miss This!
Awesome Kong awaits her opponent for tonight’s contest to earn an AGPW wrestling contract. Along with her are Hollywood A-Lister “Top Shelf” Trish Stratus and “Classy” Freddie Blassie. Kong stands smugly in the ring, confident that she can defeat anyone who will enter the ring opposite her. Blassie speculates that she will win by forfeit because no one would dare oppose Awesome Kong. But then, the entrance music hits…
VS. w/ &
Chyna vs. Awesome Kong w/ Trish Stratus & “Classy” Freddie Blassie
It’s Chyna! Suddenly, Awesome Kong stands ready to fight. She grins and welcomes the challenge of the 9th Wonder of the World! Into the ring she goes and the fists are flying as the bell rings. It’s the premier fantasy wrestling women’s division all-power match up! Can Chyna lift Awesome Kong above her head? Can Awesome Kong dominate Chyna? At least on this evening, the answer to both questions is “no.” Chyna and Kong slug it out back and forth. They throw power move after power move at one another. Kong goes to the top rope to attempt an Awesome Splash, but Chyna rolls out of the way. After that, Chyna powerlifts Awesome Kong onto her shoulders in a fireman’s carry, but Kong elbows her in the side of the head to get down. Kong goes for an Awesome Bomb, but Chyna punches her in the head to counter and falls on top of Kong. She runs to the ropes and as soon as Kong gets up, Chyna takes her off of her feet with a stiff clothesline. He pins for a 2-count. Chyna signals that she’s ready to finish off Kong. She whips Kong into the corner, then goes to the opposite corner. Stratus climbs onto the ring apron and runs over to try to hit Chyna with the BCCW Women’s Championship belt. Chyna ducks it, then shoves Stratus away. However, she then gets sandwiched into the turnbuckle with an Awesome-sized avalanche splash! Awesome Kong then executes the Awesome Bomb and pins Chyna. 1…2…3! Awesome Kong earns an AGPW contract.
Official Decision: Awesome Kong wins by pinfall

Yvon “Le Lion” Robert w/ Frenchy Martin vs. “The Iceman” Dean Malenko
This match pits the current International Heavyweight Champion versus the inaugural International Heavyweight Champion in a non-title bout. However, the stakes remain high. Both of these men will be going into the 6-man elimination chamber match at the winner of this match will be guaranteed the final entry slot into the match. This match carries additional significance to Dean Malenko, as he feels that he was cheated out of his title and contends that his title loss to Yvon “Le Lion” Robert was tantamount to highway robbery! This is first opportunity to settle the score in a one-on-one match and if he wins, he will have the best odds of leaving the elimination chamber with championship gold around his waist.
Robert is the overwhelming fan favourite here. Martin acts as his pep rally leader in encouraging the fans to chant “LI-ON! LI-ON! LI-ON! LI-ON!” Malenko takes notice of the chants, but it doesn’t bother him. In fact, he gestures to the crowd and back at Robert before saying something derogatory and using his hands to indicate that he’s going to break him in half. Le Lion flips him off in return, much to the delight of the crowd. As soon as they lock up, we know that catch-as-catch-can style will be the driving force in this match. Both of these guys are sound technicians and experts at the mat game. Long holds with some counters and chain wrestling sequences dominate the opening 10-minutes of this bout (if you grew up in the Attitude Era, the length at which they stick to the mat game and the slow pace might test your patience). The pace of the match picks up after Robert attempts to put Malenko to sleep. After having his hand drop twice, Malenko gets up and fights out of the hold. He tries to make a run for the ropes, but Robert grabs his arm and pulls him for a rolling DDT. The pinfall attempt gets a 2-count. Robert picks up Malenko and sends him into the corner. He goes in and peppers his ribs with jabs, then lays into his chest with some chops. He twists an armbar on Malenko and drops him into the mat with a short-arm clothesline. A jumping knee drop to the forehead later and he has a cover on “The Iceman.” Shoulder up! Robert drags Malenko to the middle of the ring and goes for a figure four, but Malenko kicks him away. Malenko gets to his feet and Robert charges at him for a Lou Thesz press, but Malenko counters that with a spinning spinebuster! There’s a delay before Malenko can make the cover, which makes it easy for Robert to kick out at two. Malenko brings Robert to his feet. They trade blows. Malenko goes for a kick. It’s caught, but then he nails the champion with an enzigurri kick! Malenko with the cover. 1…2… kick out! And now, Malenko keeps it on the mat with a side headlock, slowing the pace down again.
A few more minutes of catch action transpire until they’re both on their feet again, trading chops. Robert gets the better of the exchange and he sets up for a vertical suplex. Malenko blocks and counters with his own. The pin gets two. Malenko climbs the turnbuckle and appears to be waiting for Robert to get up. He gets up, sees Malenko perched on the top rope and then quickly turns and bails out of the ring. Malenko gets down and sees Robert in a mid-match conference with Martin. He runs over and takes them both down with a between the ropes suicide dive! Malenko brings Robert to his feet and sends him crashing into the steps with a big Irish whip. He pounds away at Robert’s forehead while he’s down. Malenko rolls him back into the ring. Malenko climbs the turnbuckle and waits for Robert to get up. When he does, Malenko leaps off and executes a hurricanrana! Malenko grabs Robert in a gutwrench, but Robert latches onto Malenko’s leg as a block. He sweeps the leg, somersaults onto Malenko with a double-leg clutch pin that is good enough for a close 2-count. Robert burries a knee into Malenko’s side and gives him a release German suplex. Then, he applies the arm-trap headscissors! Malenko won’t give up. He flails around and struggles, hoping to get out of the move. He is powerless to drag himself to the ropes. His only out to flip the hold over, he tries but Robert breaks it during the flip, waits for Malenko to steady himself on his feet and drops him with a spear! He hooks the leg. 1…2… shoulder up! Robert gets Malenko up and whips him into the corner. Malenko pops out on impact and Robert charges at him for another spear. Malenko moves and Robert crashes into the turnbuckle! Malenko pulls him down into a school-boy roll-up. While in the pin, Robert grabs the inside arm, gets his legs around Malenko’s head and counters the pin with his arm-trap headscissors! Down to the mat goes Malenko! He has no way out but refuses to submit and eventually passes out in the hold, thus giving the win to the reigning International Heavyweight Champion, Yvon “Le Lion” Robert!
Official Decision: Yvon “Le Lion” Robert wins by the referee’s forced stoppage of the match
