All Out Show -
We get an intro video highlighting a few of tonight’s biggest matches, and closing on Cody Rhodes and his quest to be the top champion in the business. We cut to the crowd, then zoom in on the commentary desk, where Jonathan Coachman is joined by Cesar Duran tonight, with Taz preparing to fight Raven.
Coach - “It’s a huge night tonight, with every AEW Championship on the line, as well as a slew of grudge matches. We’ll also name a new number one contender to the World Championship. I’m joined tonight by Cesar Duran, whose Los Parks have a chance to make history tonight.”
Cesar - “Yes, they do. Los Parks can become the first team to defeat the Steiners in AEW, and become the AEW Tag Team Champions! Also, Hijo is in the Casino Battle Royale and can become a future World Champion. The first step is tonight.”
Coach - “But first, we’ve got a grudge match between one of your team’s nemeses, Hernandez, and Big E Langston. As one of my former co-workers used to say, this is guaranteed to be a slobberknocker!
We see a video recap of the feud between the New Day and LAX, which started back with Kofi and Xavier beating up Konnan in WCW/NWO Revenge. LAX later defeated New Day, then wouldn’t grant them a rematch. When New Day got involved with LAX vs. Los Parks, Hernandez hit Xavier with a chair and put him out with a concussion. Big E took his place at Blood and Guts and helped the team win. That match ended with Hernandez tossing Kofi off the cell and through a table. Big E challenged Hernandez to this match.
Match 1 - Big E (0-0) vs. Hernandez (2-0) w/ Homicide and Konnan
Big E went straight for Hernandez when the bell rang, and the two heavyweights just had a hoss fight. E controlled early until Hernandez reversed an Irish Whip into the corner and followed up with a splash. He controlled the match by keeping E down with a half crab until E got to the ropes.
Later, Hernandez tried for a crossbody off the middle rope, but E dodged it. E hit a huge German suplex and went for the pin, but Konnan distracted the ref. Homicide jumped on the apron to shout at E when Kofi and Xavier ran out! They chased Konnan and Homicide away.
In the ring, Hernandez tried for the Border Toss, but E wiggled off. Dropkick. E gets Hernandez up and hits the Big Ending! 1…2…3! Big E Langston wins in 11 minutes. The rest of the New Day comes back to the ring to celebrate.

A video airs showing Steveson’s tournament win, where he won the All-Atlantic Championship in a final round match against Shawn Spears, as well as their various encounters since then. We see Steveson’s final promo, vowing that this is Spears’ last shot at the belt before he moves on to other challengers.
Match 2 - All-Atlantic Title: Gable Steveson (7-0) © vs. Shawn Spears (7-3)
Spears and Steveson square off. Spears tries mat wrestling first, but gets stymied by Steveson, who keeps Spears down on the mat with a variety of leg holds. Spears gets to the ropes to break the hold and slides out of the ring for a breather. Steveson pursues him and chases after Spears, who hits a drop-toe hold on Steveson into the stairs.
That move reversed their fortunes, as Spears took control on the outside of the ring. Rolling Steveson back in the ring, Spears hits the Hangman’s Neckbreaker, followed by a frog splash, and he goes for a pin. 1…2…NO! Steveson kicks out. Spears keeps on the offensive and locks in a Sharpshooter. Steveson breaks the hold at the ropes.
Spears sends Steveson into the corner and starts punching him. At the 8 count, Steveson lifts Spears up and hits a powerbomb. He lifts Spears up and hits the Olympic Slam, then goes for the pin. 1…2…3! Steveson retains the All-Atlantic Title in 13:51.

We get a nice video package detailing Raven and Taz’ long history, dating back to ECW, with shaky cam footage of their one singles match in 1995 that saw the Tazmaniac defeat Raven. We then see Raven’s match against Hook, which Taz interfered during, followed by the ensuing challenge.
Match 3 - Falls Count Anywhere: Raven (3-1) vs. Taz (0-0)
Raven and Taz square off in the ring. An angry Taz takes control early with a few suplexes, until Raven slides out of the ring. They spilled into the audience and fought through the crowd and into the concourse. Raven whips Taz into a popcorn machine that tips over and spills popcorn everywhere. They beat on each other back and forth - Taz hits a T-bone suplex onto Raven on the concrete, then finds some crutches that he hits over Raven’s back.
They eventually spill out onto the stage. Raven is carrying a stop sign that he smashes over Taz’ head. Both men are bleeding. Raven lifts Taz up and hits the Evenflow DDT, then lifts Taz up and prepares to toss him off the stage! This brings Hook out from the back, who pleads with Raven to not toss his dad off the stage. Raven nods, then lays Taz on the stage and pins him for the win in 12:03. After the match, Hook and Raven shake hands, then Hook checks on Taz.

Match 4 - Ronda Rousey, Paige VanZant & Mystery Partner vs. The Beautiful People
After the five known competitors make their entrances, Ronda and Paige wait outside the ring and wait for their partner…and it’s Sasha Banks! The temporary teammates bump fists and hop on the apron to start the match.
Rousey, VanZant and Banks run roughshod over the Beautiful People. VanZant gets the pinfall on Velvet Sky with a Pedigree, at 2:14. After the match, the faces celebrate and raise each others’ hands.

A preview with Joe’s debut at Summer Smash, followed by Hager’s challenge to a rematch. The video shows Joe choking Hager out, then Hager busting Joe open with a camera shot to the head at Dynamite this past week.
Match 5 - Samoa Joe (1-0) vs. Jake Hager (3-3) (if Joe uses Coquina Clutch, he is DQ’d)
Joe is pissed to start off with and goes straight for Hager, but the All-American catches him out with an uppercut. Hager maintains control in the early part of the match with an abdominal stretch and other holds. He then hits an Oklahoma stampede and goes for a pinfall attempt.
Joe fights back after reversing an Irish whip. He hits multiple suplexes and caps off a flurry of moves with an Enziguri that gets a 2-count. After some more back-and-forth fighting, Joe tosses Hager into the corner. He lifts Hager onto the top turnbuckle…and Joe goes for the Muscle Buster! He’s able to hit the move and goes for the pin. 1…2…NO! Hager kicks out! Joe, Coach and the crowd are stunned.
Hager fights back with a belly-to-belly suplex, and then a gutwrench powerbomb. Hager locks in an ankle lock and grapevines his leg. He holds the ankle for a long time, and Joe is eventually able to get to the ropes. Joe gets Hager into the corner and goes for another Muscle Buster, but his leg buckles and Hager lands on top of him. Hager hits another gutwrench powerbomb and goes for the pin. 1…2…NO! Joe kicks out!
Joe works his way behind Hager and goes for the Coquina Clutch! The ref points out that he can’t use it, so Joe shoves Hager and argues with the ref. Hager turns around behind Joe and he locks in his own rear naked choke! Joe stumbles away and Hager pulls him to the ground. Joe struggles to get out of it. Hager locks in tighter. Joe can’t get out of the hold and eventually taps out. Hager wins at 22:13.

Match 6 - Women’s Title: Jade Cargill © (10-0) vs. Alexa Bliss (2-0)
Sasha Banks joins Coach and Duran on commentary for this match.
Cargill wins with her Jaded Finisher in 8:41. Bliss threw everything at Cargill, hitting Sister Abigail for a nearfall. But Cargill overpowered Bliss in the end. After the match, an upset Bliss walks over to the announce area and tosses Lily in a trash can. Coach walks away from the table and calls security to get rid of the trash before he will return.
Cargill walks over to the announce table and goes face-to-face with Banks, who smirks and lifts the UWA title high in the air. Cargill tells Banks she is coming for the title soon.

Match 7 - Casino Battle Royale (for shot at world title)
Malakai Black and Jeff Cobb start the match. It’s the power of Cobb against the speed of Black. Cobb tries to eliminate Black early, but is rebuffed. The next entrant is Andrade El Idolo. He and Black form a brief alliance against Cobb and try to toss him over the ropes, but Cobb hangs on until Hijo de la Park enters the ring. Up next are Davey Richards and Danny Rivera. Black clocks Park with the Black Mass, then tosses Park out for the first elimination.
Cobb hits the Tour of the Islands on El Idolo and tosses him out of the ring as James Storm’s music hits. Storm and Cobb brawl right away, while Black, Richards and Rivera square off. Homicide enters next and comes to Rivera’s aid. They eliminate Richards, and Black follows it up with another elimination, getting rid of Homicide. Then the next entrant’s music hits…AND IT’S EDGE! The crowd goes wild, as does Coach on the announce table - “Edge is here! Edge is here! He was just released from his NWA/ETW contract, and there are rumors that he’s headed elsewhere. But, for tonight, Edge is All Elite and has a chance at earning a title shot!”
As Edge runs to the ring, Cobb and Storm spill fighting over the top rope and eliminate each other. Edge slides in, spears Rivera and tosses him over the ropes. Now just Malakai Black and Edge are in the ring. They come face-to-face and the crowd is going wild. The competitors soak it in for a moment until the next competitor comes out…and it’s Peter Avalon with a microphone. “Excuse me! EXCUSE ME! If everyone will just be quiet for a moment, Pretty Peter Avalon is making his long-awaited entrance!”
Edge and Black watch as Avalon enters the ring. And removes his robe. And folds it neatly in the corner. As Avalon turns, he walks straight into the Black Mass. As he’s stumbling to the mat, Edge spears Avalon, then picks him up and tosses him out. Edge and Black face off again. Black tries for the Black Mass! But Edge ducks and they start trading punches. Edge gets Black to the corner and mounts him for the 10-count punch. Edge tries to spear Black in the corner, but Black dodges and Edge smashes his shoulder into the ring post.
Matt Riddle is next! He and Black face off, while Edge recovers from his miss. The ring starts to fill up again - Luchasaurus, Billy Kidman, Hook, Hurricane and Robert Roode each come in and square off. Kidman and Hook; Luchasaurus and Black; Riddle and Roode; Edge and Hurricane. Next, Brian Cage’s music hits! He’s back from his suspension!
Cage comes out from the back, looking like a Terminator. He runs toward the ring and hits a slew of clotheslines. He smashes Kidman and Hook’s heads together and tosses them from the ring. Powerbomb to Hurricane, out of the ring. Big boot to Roode, then lifts and tosses him out. He turns from that and gets speared by Edge.
JBL’s music hits, and he’s out next. JBL and Edge face off! Elsewhere, Luchasaurus chokeslams Black out of the ring! Malakai Black has been eliminated! Cage recovers and attacks Edge, hitting him with the Drill Claw. Cage eliminates Edge, and Dean Malenko is the next entrant.
Malenko goes straight for JBL. Cage and Luchasaurus square off, while Riddle debates who to attack, when Sammy Guevara’s music hits. Guevara and Riddle fight, and it’s this status quo until the final entrant comes out…”Wild Thing” hits the speakers and out walks Jon Moxley, making his AEW debut!
Coach - “How could this match possibly get any bigger!?”
Mox comes in and runs wild. He eliminates Malenko and JBL, while Cage tosses Luchasaurus. We are now down to the final four - Brian Cage, Jon Moxley, Matt Riddle and Sammy Guevara. Cage and Riddle match up, while Mox and Guevara square off. Riddle tries to take Cage down, but Cage just overpowers him and eliminates Riddle. Guevara and Cage team up to take on Mox, until he hits the Paradigm Shift out of nowhere on Guevara! Mox tosses Guevara, and it's down to Cage and Moxley.
The crowd is going wild for Moxley and they trade blows until Cage catches Moxley with an uppercut. Followed by a backbreaker, then the Drill Claw. Cage tosses Moxley over the top rope! Brian Cage wins the Casino Battle Royale, earning a future AEW World Championship opportunity! Match time: 34:12.

Match 8 - Tag Titles: Steiner Bros. © (5-0) vs. Los Parks (4-2)
Steiners win with a Scott Steiner Frankensteiner onto Park Jr., Getting the pin at 13:04. The Parks put up a good battle, but just couldn’t get the win.
While they are celebrating their victory, a 90s rock riff hits the speakers and interrupts them. They look toward the stage, but no one comes out.
Then, over the speakers, someone says, "Hey, yo. We're up here."
The camera pans up to the top of the lower section and zooms in on a loge. It's Scott Hall and Kevin Nash!
"Congratulations, Rick and Scott. We really mean it. But now, Big Daddy Cool and The Bad Guy are All Elite. Your days as champions are numbered."
The Steiners glare up at the Outsiders and raise their championship belts. Then we cut to a video promo for the main event.

Cody Rhodes has a nice video package, showing Dusty’s successes and mirroring it with images of Cody, as a boy, holding world championship belts. Fast forward to AEW, and Cody finally has his shot against Jeff Jarrett. There’s a lot of talk about legacy in the promo. We see Cody stopping Jeff from using the guitar on Don Leo Jonathan last month; then Jeff costing Cody a win by hitting him with the guitar later in the night. It ends with Cody comparing Jeff to the Honky Tonk Man and almost coming to blows.
Main Event - World Title - Jeff Jarrett (8-0) © vs. Cody Rhodes (6-2)
Jarrett and Rhodes have a back-and-forth match. Jarrett gets the early upper hand with an enziguri and a sleeper hold. Rhodes fights back with a jawbreaker, followed by a dropkick and a knee drop. Later in the match, Rhodes hits an Alabama Slam and goes to the ropes for a moonsault; Jarrett rolls out of the way and re-takes control.
Jarrett hits a powerslam, then a diving elbow drop from the second rope. Snap suplex, then Jarrett locks in a Figure Four leglock. Rhodes is able to roll it over to break, then hits a Tiger Driver ‘98. At the 15-minute mark, Rhodes goes for the CrossRhodes. The Apex emerges to ringside, and Rhodes lets go of Jarrett. He and the ref go to yell at the Apex. In the ring, Jarrett hits a low blow on Rhodes, then hits The Stroke! The ref turns to count the pinfall. 1…2…Rhodes kicks out! Jarrett puts Rhodes in the corner and lifts him up to the top rope. He’s going for a Stroke from the top! He hits it! Jarrett pins Rhodes. 1…2…NO! Jarrett is apoplectic.
The Apex gets closer to the ring and starts arguing with the ref. This brings out Matt Riddle, Jeff Cobb and The Hurricane, who run the Apex off. It’s down to Jarrett and Rhodes in the ring now. The ref is bumped, and Jarrett exits the ring and grabs the AEW World Title. He re-enters the ring and tries to hit Rhodes with the belt. He ducks and hits a backstabber as Jarrett drops the belt. Rhodes hits the CrossRhodes and goes for the pin! The ref is still out, so Rhodes gets off of Jarrett and wakes the ref up.
Jarrett runs toward Rhodes by the ropes; Rhodes ducks and lifts Jarrett up and over the ropes to the outside of the ring. On the floor, Jarrett is writhing and clutching his foot. Rhodes follows him out of the ring, but the ref instructs him to get back in the ring. The ref holds his arms up in an X and medics come from the back to check on Jarrett, while Rhodes stands in the ring with his hands on his hips. Rhodes wins by countout at 24:13, but Jarrett retains the belt. While Jarrett is loaded onto a stretcher, Rhodes picks up the belt and looks at it longingly, then hands it to the ref.
The show ends with a close up on Jarrett, wincing in pain, as the ref hands him the title. He looks toward Rhodes, grinning.
