BREAKING NEWS: RANDY COUTURE RELEASED! More to Follow? (Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019)
- As reported late last night, Ring of Honor has come to terms on the release of MMA Legend and RoH analyst, Randy Couture. It's being said that the acquisition of Tazz had made Couture expendable, and with the news of Mike Goldberg being released late last week in favour or Mauro Ranallo, Couture was looking to leave the company on his own accord. Sources backstage in Ring of Honor have stated that both Couture and Goldberg were well received backstage and were simply released due to having "more experienced" pro-wrestling announcers become available at the last minute. Eric Bischoff had reportedly met with both regarding their release and expressed a desire to bring them both in again if there ever a need for more commentators in the future.
- A number of Ring of Honor talent were also released late last week. Along with Goldberg, Jinder Mahal, The Desi Hit Squad & Lilian Garcia were also handed their termination papers before the start of the Thanksgiving Supplementary draft. The Desi Hit Squad were a case of their inexperience making them expendable once RoH decided they didn't need the extra tag team laying around and needed to clear roster space for newer acquisitions.
- Jinder Mahal's release was not seen as a shock for anyone at Ring of Honor, as his storyline was to factor directly in to their plans for Desi Hit Squad, but once the decision to cut the tag team was made, Jinder was an easy choice to go as well. Mahal's talent had him quickly signing with WWF where he is expected to debut soon under a disgruntled postal worker gimmick with a stuttering problem.
- The biggest shock release was that of Lilian Garcia who Eric Bischoff reached out to personally to bring on board as her iconic ring announcing abilities are considered second to none in the business. With RoH needed the space, a decision has been made to have Steve Corino do ring announcing duties from the commentary desk during match introductions until RoH can afford to bring someone in to fill the role full time.
- With the #1st pick in the Thanksgiving Draft, Ring of Honor made a huge splash selecting Edge, but were somewhat disappointed when their next pick Christian was taken by GWA just one selection before them. RoH made several attempts to acquire Christian via trade with GWA even going so far as to reportedly offer Bobby Lashley, but when offers were rejected, selected Keith Lee instead. At this point in time it is not known if this changes plans for Edge moving forwards as RoH would have liked to debut Edge and Christian together during the RoH Tag Team Championship tournament as one of the bigger threats to win the titles.
- Speaking of trades, Ring of Honor acquired Luke Harper from WWF for a pair of draft picks in the Thanksgiving Draft. Harper has been on Eric Bischoff's radar for some time and is expected to receive quite the singles push when he debuts. At this time, it is not yet known if Harper will be wrestling under his current name, or going back to the name Brodie Lee which was what he used during his original Ring of Honor run back in the early 2000's.
- Another RoH Original to seemingly "return" to this new incarnation of the company is Jimmy Jacobs who was signed late last weekend. Jacobs has quite the history with RoH stars, with Steve Corino seemingly being the driving force behind bringing him on board.

The EXTREME Newsroll! Vol. 1 (All your news, rumors, and insight on the extreme brand known as ECW!)
- Following the Thanksgiving draft featuring all territories in MUW, ECW were able to make quick waves by signing Owen Hart as their first pick in the draft. Despite taking additional time to figure out the pick, Owen seems to be a trailblazer pick for ECW and Paul Heyman was rumored to be having said he has big plans for Owen when ECW is back on the air. We here at the extreme newsroll are still unsure of the fact whether he will be joining the Hart Foundation team of Teddy Hart, Brian Pillman Jr, and son of former MLW tag partner Davey Boy Smith, Davey Boy Smith Jr. All we know is that Owen will be slotted into a big role almost as soon as he's signed to ECW.
- Tag team wrestling seems to be booming pretty high for ECW as their second pick is legendary tag team The Dudley Boyz. We know that focus is put on all sides of ECW and that's also another big pick for ECW that will almost instantly make an impact. D-Von and Bubba are almost basically perfect for ECW at this point in time and we're just waiting to see what will come out of their run.
- While the draft is over, ECW would not go quiet after that as they made signings for Austin Theory and Tyson Kidd. Two still rising talents that were undrafted in the Thanksgiving draft. We here have been heard from a few unnamed sources in ECW that Paul Heyman is really accustomed to Theory and has plans for him for the coming months. With Tyson Kidd, it seems he will be slotted in very quickly to join the new Hart Foundation.
- ECW Hardcore TV has a new home! After being kicked off networks for their dangerous action, and an additional match happening on the Halloween special when never actually allocating for more than one, negotiating has been done and ECW will now be live on Spike TV weekly. We've contacted those working for ECW and everyone's excited to be working again and we're excited to cover ECW fully!

AEW News and Rumors December 16, 2019
- As we now know, Dynamite GM Mark Henry is expecting answers regarding the disturbing segment from Dynamite where Aleister Black was seen in a morgue with two slots labeled for the current AEW Tag Champs, PCO and Brody King. Not much is known about this current situation or the current whereabouts of PCO and King, but hopefully we will receive some sort of explanation come this Wednesday.
- Karl Anderson has been rehabbing several nagging injuries over the past couple weeks. The former Club member and half of the inaugural AEW Tag Team Champions is expected to make a full recovery and appear on Dynamite with his partner, Doc Gallows, in the coming weeks.
- A stipulation is expected to be added to the rumored Women's Championship match involving Dakota Kai and Tessa Blanchard. No word on what this stipulation may be.
BREAKING NEWS: The next AEW pay-per-view is expected to be announced in the coming days, possibly as early as this Wednesday on Dynamite. Stay tuned to AllEliteWrestling [dot] com for more information!

AEW News and Rumors December 20, 2019
- As announced at the end of Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling's next pay-per-view will be called "Revolution" and will take place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
- While participating in the most recent media scrum after AEW Dynamite, AEW CEO Tony Khan indicating that there "might" be plans for AEW to bring in a television championship. We could see this new championship debut as early as the January 11th pay-per-view.
- There have been rumors that Bill Goldberg may be returning to All Elite Wrestling sooner than later. The 52-year-old powerhouse has been recovering from minor nagging injuries and is said to be feeling "phenomenal."
- Despite other rumors, there are very few people in the AEW board room that know where the Killer Kross/Daniel Bryan storyline is headed. Many in the company see Killer Kross as a top heel for years to come, while others feel someone such as Nick Aldis may be better suited for the role, hence the promo we saw last week on Dynamite. It will be interesting to see where things go from here, especially in light of PCO and Brody King's recent disappearance (where their deaths have been insinuated.)

According to sources within the WWF. We can now announce that Paul Heyman has left the promotion. It has been said that Heyman was upset that Brock Lesnar was drafted to Raw. When the plan as he was told was that the two would be a package deal and going to Smackdown together. We have heard that Brock was the one who called Paul upset about the entire situation. Brock was supposed to shoot an angle on Raw which would lead to his push going into the Royal Rumble but Brock refused to go out which lead to locker room leaders holding their own meeting with Vince we have heard the names of some people involved were Stone Cold, Taker, HHH and HBK. The four went to Vince about the situation and told Vince to handle it.
Vince was left with a hard choice as Brock has a hefty contract with limited work but Vince instead agreed to a deal with ECW. Which Paul Heyman is running while getting paid by the WWF as an on screen talent. Vince has made a deal with Heyman he will allow Heyman to be free of his contract with the WWF and then he will allow Brock to join ECW as well. Heyman who was said to be happy about the situation was worrying how he could afford Brocks contract. A source is saying that Vince is actually going to make a buyout for Brocks contract and allow him to get most money of his contract and be free to go to ECW with no strings attached.
It’s said that Brock agreed to the terms and is finished with the company and the same for Heyman they will be heading to the land of extreme but they are not alone as the USO Brothers are also headed to ECW. When asked about why they were going. We have heard they are well liked but with their run in with the law and not liking their current role in the company. Vince thought it would be best to cut ties.
As for who is going to join the WWF. We can go ahead and announce that Darby Allin is going to be coming to the WWF. Darby who is known as a man who goes to the beat of his own drum is a guy that the WWF thinks can get over with their roster. Also coming to the WWF is Baron Corbin. Baron is a guy with loads of potential and word going around is that he might be taking the place of Heyman as GM of Smackdown but that is just a rumor at best. The last name is Shane Douglas. The WWF has always been high of Shane but they never gave him the proper home with the brand split in full force. We can expect Shane to be a major player in the WWF. We have it on record that HHH and HBK were not keen on bringing in Shane but we have heard the three had a meeting with Vince and basically buried the hatchet and agreed to not let the past play into the present or future of the WWF.
The bribing in of Ted Dibiase was said to be something the WWF wanted to happen. Officials were upset when Dibiase was brought into the NWA but that is why the WWF basically let the NWA name their price and Tully was picked. The WWF didn’t want to let Tully go but because Diabise will play into future plans it was basically a no brainer. The big question now is what happens with Arn Anderson. Does Arn go solo? Or will he be put into a tag team? Only time will tell.
The WWF has also decided to give their talent the week off from live shows and house shows. The USA Network was alright with the decision and the talent is said to be thrilled and this was seen as a major morale boost for the company.

RoH Christmas Special? Tag Team Tournament Update & MORE! (Monday, December 23rd, 2019)
- Reports are beginning to surface that Ring of Honor is planning to tape an episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling tonight that will air on Christmas Day as opposed to it's usual Friday evening live time slot this week. The reasoning for this change is to give the RoH roster enough time off with their families for the holiday season. At this time, there has been no update on what Ring of Honor's plans are for the New Year as they may decided to take the extra week off for their rosters as well.
- Talks in the RoH office about announcing their first PPV have heated up. The current plan was to debut the first PPV in January, but with the World Championship tournament progressing slowly, this may not come to fruition and February is looking like a more likely month to for their PPV debut.
- With the company now through 3 weeks of television and firmly establishing a 4 match cap on weekly episodes, RoH have had countless meetings about what to do with their tag team tournament planned for next month. The current word in the Roh office is that creative would like to have a shorter tournament this time around, with a feeling that two large elimination tournaments back to back would come off as "overkill" or "lazy booking" to the potential audiences. Some of the idea pitched have been to just have a couple multi-team tag matches with the winners facing off for the titles, or to do away with the tournament format in total and hope it doesn't create too negative of a reaction from the Ring of Honor fans.
- Two new teams have been proposed as additions to the RoH Tag Team title scene as RoH creative struggle to find a finish line for their potential first Tag Team Champions. The Motor City Machine Guns have always been very well respected backstage in RoH, but the recent Chris Sabin/Mike Bennett feud has started to shift focus backstage as RoH is now starting to look at Chris Sabin as a potential singles star, which has theoretically opened up a rather large whole in a tag team division that was once looked to be build around both Sabin and Alex Shelley. There's been talks of packaging two larger stars who have come up short in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament to try and see if they can add some potential star power to the tag team division. Ring of Honor is also apparently open to move contracts around in order to bring in one or two more tag teams in the near future.
- An update on RoH supplimental draftee Edge was issued late last night. There are apparently no plans to debut Edge for the company any time soon. Creative was thrown for a loop once Christian was taken in the supplemental draft which caused numerous re-writes to the debut episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling as well as future plans. It was reported that Keith Lee's spot in the Main Event of last week's episode was originally written as a way to bring Edge and Christian in the the company as top faces and allow them to feud with The Kingdom, but plans seemingly changed once RoH found out they would not be getting Christian. Why Edge did not debut last week is not yet known, but it may be some time before The Rated R Superstar appears on RoH television, if at all.
- Big Show was reportedly backstage the last two weeks working in a Producer role with RoH. Big Show is currently off television selling the post match assault from Bobby Lashley at the end of RoH's debut episode and is not expected to be back until after the completion of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament.

Lucha Underground News & Rumours It was confirmed on December 1 that Lucha Underground was renewed for a fourth season. It is believed that the fourth season will debut at the beginning of February. A schedule for the first few episodes of the new season has been set. There are currently four TV taping dates scheduled for January 10, 11, 17 and 18, with other dates yet to be confirmed. One insider source has said that producers have identified its trios division as an area in need of improvement. It is actively looking for ways to bring in established trios and to create new ones. With that in mind, it has re-signed current Trios Champions, Fénix, Aero Star, and Drago, and the Mexicools (Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis, and Super Crazy) to new contracts. Moreover, it has signed Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metallik) as well as the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins). With Worldwide Underground, Truth Martini's Authors of Pain, and the Pinnacle of Sports Entertainment also on the roster, Lucha Underground now has a deeper trios division than it has at any point in its existence. Mind you, a partner must be found for the Street Profits. Plus, it would only make sense for producers to find Famous B a third client to join Dr. Wagner Jr. and Mike Awesome in Infamous Inc. and for the newly signed former Impact Wrestling stars Santana and Ortiz. A deal to bring in Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Lita to reform Team Extreme nearly came to fruition, but word has it that the Hardy Boyz found a more lucrative offer from the Global Wrestling Alliance, one that Lucha Underground could not match. In other news, Lucha Underground has parted ways with the legendary "Macho Man" Randy Savage. One industry source tells us that Savage, a free agent at the end of season three, left the company on good terms. A post-season meeting with producers revealed that both sides felt that he had done everything he could to help the company grow in its infancy and that there was nothing more for him to do at this time. The two sides ended their business relationship amicably. Savage has already found a new home in the World Wrestling Federation. It is a chance for the last Lucha Underground Champion to make a fresh start on a much larger stage. Everyone cannot wait to see what he'll accomplish in his new home.

From the desk of NWA Commissioner Jim Barnett.

NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge, due to injuries sustained in a car crash, asked to be released from his contract. Hodge is unsure when he would be able to return to the ring. He turned in the title & a tournament will be held to determine the new champion.
NWA Women's World's Champion Mschif asked for her release dur to family matters. She turned in the title. Cherry Bomb went on to beat Mia Yim in an elimination match to win the belt on the 12-22 PPV.

Lucha Underground News & Rumours We have more news concerning the roster for the upcoming fourth season of Lucha Underground, set to debut next month. First, it was previously reported that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, known as the Street Profits, had signed with the company. There was a contractual dispute and it turns out they were already under contract. Even so, the company was able to make arrangements to have them work two matches, one each on each day of its first set of television tapings, coming up next weekend. Second, according to the Lucha Underground Twitter feed, the company has settled on terms for new contracts with both Prince Puma (played by Ricochet) and Pentagon DARK (played by Pentagon Jr.). That makes two more originals returning for season four. They join Rey Fénix, Aero Star, Drago, Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis, and Super Crazy as other season one performers who are already confirmed to be returning for season four. One original Lucha Underground who will not be back is "Classy" Freddie Blassie. His story with Pentagon DARK has come to a conclusion. One source has said that Pentagon DARK is a breakout star and has told us to expect him to receive a big push. It was felt that the burning down of the dark arts dojo at the end of season three should signal the end of one story and beginning of new things for Pentagon DARK. Another performer tied to that story is Kevin Steen (aka Kevin Owens). He was brought in on a per appearance basis to help establish Pentagon as an upper echelon talent. One insider says that the company was impressed with his work and are open to bringing him back. We're told that they have been in contact with Steen, but talks about bringing him back and in what capacity are said to be in the preliminary stages. The feeling is that if Steen doesn't feel that ideas for how to use him are interesting enough, he will look to go to another company that will commit to making him a top player. In one final bit of news, the services of Matt Striker, Vampiro, and Melissa Santos have all been retained. Producers have also re-signed its entire staff of referees. They've also come to terms with Karlee Perez, who portrays the supernatural character Catrina. She will be back, but whether she returns with Mil Muertes is anyone's guess. Ricky Banderas, who plays the Man of a Thousand Deaths, is not currently under contract. And while the character is a very popular one among Lucha Underground's fanbase, it seemed to have been killed off at Ultima Lucha Tres. Might that have been his one-thousandth death? That remains to be seen.

BREAKING NEWS: ROH'S 1ST PPV ANNOUNCEMENT COMING? Trade? Update on Tag Titles & MORE (Wednesday, January 8th, 2020)
- It's been confirmed that Ring of Honor is finally ready to announce it's first PPV. Sources close to the situation are claiming the announcement could come as soon as this Friday's edition of Ring of Honor Television and is tentatively scheduled for the last weekend of this month, which would leave January 25th or 26th as potential dates. At this time, there is no information on what the PPV will be called, but there is some belief Ring of Honor will decide to bring back an original PPV name for this historic event.
- There has been persistent chatter backstage that Ring of Honor have struck, or are close to striking a deal to trade talent contracts with another promotion, but information has been very scare so far as Ring of Honor has a policy of keeping internal talent dealing very discreet. There have been rumours of some talent that have already requested to be traded or released if they aren't given a prominent spot in the near future. Names like Drew Gulak, The Viking Raiders, Lio Rush, Sheamus and recently the acquired Luke Harper have been floated as potential superstars who could be unhappy with their limited exposure so far.
- One name who is apparently very happy with his position in the company is Abyss. Abyss, whose real name is Chris Parks has been working backstage at every Ring of Honor show so far this year along with Jeff Jarrett and Jimmy Jacobs as Road Agents for the company. Parks' Abyss character has only been featured once so far on Ring of Honor Wrestling when he made a surprise appearance attacking Santa. Though there may be a chance for more exposure down the road, the current plan for Parks is to continue using him as a road agent, while having Abyss used as a special attraction moving forward.
- There should be an update coming soon on the new format for the RoH Tag Team Championship tournament. One potential rumour was that Ring of Honor officials have reached out to multiple other companies asking to borrow some of their lesser used tag teams in order to have multiple multi-man tag matches which would pit the winners of those matches against each other for the tag titles. At this point in time, the belief is that a Triple Threat match for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships will be the direction the company chooses to go.

THE BRAND EXPANSION ALREADY ENDING! VINCE FURIOUS! THE USA NETWORK PULLS MONDAY NIGHT RAW!
You read it right! The Brand Expansion is already coming to an end. Word going around is that Fox who bought the rights to WWF Smackdown was said to be furious with more than half the roster on a different channel especially stars like HBK, Stone Cold, HHH, Batista and many others. Vince tried to sell the network that he had a plan but the Fox Executives didn't want to hear the excuses and forced the change. The USA Network was also upset with the brand split and actually decided to cancel the program off their channel. The WWF was shocked by the news and most within the company are all pointing fingers to others and putting the blame on others. In the end Vince McMahon is furious with The USA Network who he thought he had a great working relationship with. The USA Network refused to comment on the report other than saying that they would rather focus their efforts on showing more episodes of Law & Order SVU the playing wrestling every Monday Night. It's also being reported that the USA Network was FURIOUS over the WWF moving Brock Lesnar out of the company. That move was said to be done because Brock was being labeled as a locker room cancer. He was said to have had his own room every night he was there. He never worked house shows and the final straw was an incident that he had with locker room leader The Undertaker! Brock was said to have been acting unprofessional during The Survivor Series PPV which lead to The Undertaker taking care of the issue but that was said to have left a bad taste in the mouth of a lot in the company. Vince knows how important the locker room is made sure that Brock was sent away and with his ties to Paul Heyman already the move to ECW made sense.
Fox is said to be thrilled with the news of the brand split ending because that means that The WWF will now have no choice but to use the entire roster. Vince instead of waiting till Smackdown to make changes to The Royal Rumble. Vince has gone ahead and made those changes. The World Title and The WWF Championship will be unified in a Fatal Four-Way Match between Shane Douglas, Mr.Perfect, Stone Cold and Randy Orton! All the other titles and matches will stay the same but that is the only one that will change. The Winner of The Royal Rumble will still challenge for The WWF World Heavyweight Championship!
The WWF is said to working their creative team very hard which is what has made most of them leave already. Vince has announced that he is putting longtime Mash-Up Contributer Logan Boggs in the driver's seat over creative. The 29 year old Tennessee Native is said to be thrilled with the chance as in the past he has been on Mash-Up Television but now he gets his chance in the driver's seat as the Head of Creative but like always the buck ends with Vince McMahon but it's going to be interesting to see what happens!
