BREAKING NEWS!!! KROSS ATTACKS BRYAN, SUSPENDED FOR 30 DAYS
October 5, 2019 AllEliteWrestling.com
Following their showdown at Fight for the Fallen, Killer Kross viciously attacked the new AEW World Champion Daniel Bryan backstage with a singapore cane. AEW officials attempted to restrain Kross from further injuring Bryan but it took several wrestlers stepping in and pulling Kross away from Bryan.
As a result of the former AEW Champion's actions, General Manager Mark Henry has decided to suspend Kross for 30 days following the attack. Henry further clarified the suspension by stating that the suspension is not just from in-ring competition and that Kross will be banned from any AEW arena until his suspension is lifted on November 6, 2019.

After Friday night's loss, Trent Barreta asked for and received his release from MLW, frustrated at "the office" for failing to give TnT any meaningful matches. Afterwards, Bret Hart approached Tyson Kidd and offered him a spot in the Hart Foundation franchise, which he immediately accepted.

More MLW franchise news: the sudden departure of several teams left a couple of franchises in disarray, and new alliances have since formed. It was confirmed yesterday that a true "power couple" have come together, as the MLW World Tag-Team champions, Edge and Christian, have allied themselves with Chris Harris and James Storm, the Intercontinental Tag-Team titleholders, to form North America's Most Wanted.

Four of the best tag-teams in the world will be in action on the next MLW Friday Night Heat to determine the top contender for Edge and Christian's World titles. The Hart Foundation will battle Southern Comfort, while the Brain Busters take on the Miracle Violence Division. The winners will square off the week after to determine that contender!

Ring of Honor in Trouble Already? (Monday, November 4th, 2019)
Rumors beginning to swirl already that Ring of Honor may be in some early financial troubles before they even debut! A report surfaced late last night that Comet TV, a company rumored to be in negotiation for the broadcasting rights to ROH's unnamed weekly television show, pulled their offer shortly after the official Ring of Honor roster was announced last week due to a reported "difference in opinion" between RoH and Comet TV regarding which stars the company should put the most focus on.
One report states that Comet TV reps were furious over Ring of Honor's decision to pass on both Brock Lesnar and Alberto del Rio in the supplementary draft, choosing instead to select Michael Elgin, Apollow Crews and Elias.
When asked to comment on the matter, RoH Owner Eric Bischoff stated he is "Not at all worried" and that "Everything will become clear later this week".

RoH Update: No TV Deal In Sight? Randy Couture's Role Revealed! Mike Bennett on Maria's Future & More! (Tuesday, November 13th, 2019)
- As Ring of Honor continues to prepare for their eventual debut, rumours are still circulating that Eric Bischoff has yet to secure a television deal for his promotion and may be looking to bring in someone from outside the company for a little assistance in exchange for a piece of ownership. Take this as just strictly a rumour for now, but this would not be a good start for RoH television with Bischoff potentially selling some of his stake in the company just to secure a TV deal.
- It's been reported that the press conference scheduled for late last week was cancelled because of the reasons listed above. Some lower management in RoH are already sceptical of this companies future, and have gone as far as leaving the promotion already. Another less worried source was quoted as saying "Eric knows what he's doing. This company will be on television before the end of the year, even if the first couple shows need to be placed on Youtube to get some more attention."
- Speaking briefly with one of the heads of production in RoH, it was learned that Randy Couture will indeed be a part of the commentary team, but will not work the entire show until he feels he is ready. The current plan is for Couture to come out to call the main events of RoH weekly television shows only at this point while he works on honing his craft, leaving Mike Goldberg and Steve Corino pencilled in as the lead announce team for the reaminder of the show. Couture was reportedly very hesitant when it came to signing with Ring of Honor as he prefered to stick to calling MMA fights with World Series of Fighting, but was eventually persuaded by RoH's lead commentator Mike Goldberg and has been doing test runs at the RoH production office in Toronto with Todd Phillips and Steve Corino who are both said to be working very closely with Couture.
- Sticking with the commentary team, there are some who have reportedly shown some concern with Bischoff's decision to have two experienced MMA commentators calling pro-wrestling matches on a weekly basis, but management seem very comfortable with this decision. Goldberg has so far been seen as a natural during his test runs, and there is strong hope that Randy Couture will eventually do the same. With that being said, there was a source that confirmed a plan B commentary team of Todd Phillips and Steve Corino would be ready to take over on a moments notice if this doesn't work out.
- A minor note on RoH choosing Toronto as their HQ. Bischoff reportedly wanted to have his Head Office as close to his home in Detroit Michigan as possible, and made the decision to locate it in Toronto after hiring his head writer who is also from the area.
- We got a chance to speak briefly with Mike Bennett and asked him for his thoughts on Ring of Honor's decision not to select his wife Maria Kanellis in the supplementary draft. Mike noted that although he was disappointed in the decision, he understands it was the best direction for the company to take the talent available that they though was best. He did say that he hopes there will be a time when Ring of Honor will be able to get his wife over to the promotion down the road as they couple hasn't worked for separate companies since before they started dating.

ROH Press Conference Results! (Monday, November 18th, 2019)
Ring of Honor held it's long awaited press conference on Saturday from their Head Office in Toronto Ontario, below are some of the more interesting moments from the event.
- Zero fanfare for this event, as Ring of Honor held the press conference from there head office, electing no to go with a traditional large event. Ring of Honor fans who had signed up to the mailing list were notified late Friday afternoon that there would be a major announcement on Saturday and that they could watch a live stream on the Ring of Honor website starting at 1pm.
- Eric Bischoff was the first one out to the podium, thanking the press for coming and the fans watching around the world. He was then joined by top supplemental draft picks Seth Rollins, Rob Van Dam, Bobby Lashley and Big Show before making the much anticipated announcement that RoH had officially signed a North American television deal with TSN/ESPN which will debut Friday, December 20th at 8pm!
- Bischoff announced he will be on hand to open the first show and will kick things off with an announcement regarding the crowning of the first Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion which he clarified would not happen the first night, but did promise there would be a new champion crowned during the first night of television as he's announcing a 10-Man over the top Battle Royal to crown the first RoH Television Champion.
- Regarding titles, Eric announced the current plan is for RoH to have 3 titles. The RoH World Heavyweight Championship, the RoH Television Championship & the RoH Tag Team Championships, before stating that neither the Tag or World Heavyweight Champions would be crowned until January at the earliest.
- Closing the announcement portion of the press conference, Bischoff announced the RoH Main event will see the 4 superstars currently by his side taking part in a Fatal 4 Way Elimination match as the Main Event. Bischoff then went back to his announcement regarding opening the show, by stating the plan to crown the first RoH World Heavyweight Champion is to hold a 16-Man Single Elimination Tournament, and that Rollins, Big Show, RVD and Lashley were the first 4 names announced, with the other 12 to be revealed during the first broadcast.
- When asked about rumour of a trade with WWF, Bischoff simply stated that there was an agreement which was still being ironed out, but took a moment to wish Ted DiBiase, Jr. and the American Wolves best of luck in WWF before hyping stating that although he hated to see the Wolves leave RoH before having a match for the company, he was working on bringing in a tag team that should help to replace the whole left in the tag division. (This was later revealed to be yesterday's signing of the Forever Hooligans)
- As the stream came to a close, Bischoff's final remarks were to expect the unexpected on a weekly basis with Ring of Honor and revealed that an official name for the weekly television series would be revealed closer to the debut date.

Lucha Underground News & Rumours Lucha Underground finished its third season on the Mash-Up Wrestling Event Center over the weekend with the airing of the second part of its two-part season finale, Ultima Lucha Tres. It is now in its off-season. It is strongly believed that the series will be renewed for a fourth season. Expected an announcement to be made soon. It is anticipated that the date for the season four premier will be announced in conjunction with the official announcement of the series renewal. Regardless of when Lucha Underground returns with new episodes, producers have gone on record as saying that new episodes won't be taped before January 2020 at the earliest. Now that the finale of the third season has aired, the contracts of all the talent that have been with the company since day one have expired. The company was guaranteed a three-season run, so it signed a core of talent to exclusive contracts for the duration of that run. Talent that has been with the company since its inception includes the newly crowned Lucha Underground Champion Prince Puma (played by Ricochet), Chris Jericho, Samoa Joe, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio Jr., Rey FĂ©nix, Pentagon Jr., Drago, Aero Star, Ultimo Dragon, Mil Muertes (played by Ricky Banderas), Awesome Kong, Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis, Super Crazy, Son of Havoc (played by Matt Cross), Catrina (played by Karlee Perez), "Classy" Freddie Blassie, Matt Striker, Vampiro, and ring announcer Melissa Santos. Rumour has it that executive producers are in preliminary discussions to bring some of the talent back. However, an inside source tells me that we should not expect all these luchadores to return for season four. It is believed that some luchadores wish to back to working for a more traditional professional wrestling territory. While some will test the open market to see what deals they can find elsewhere, executive producers will not make offers to other talent in order to bring in some fresh faces to try to keep the product from going stale. Not much is publicly known about where the company stands with a lot of this talent at the present moment. One employee speaking on condition of anonymity told me that he felt it was a huge gamble to put the championship on Prince Puma when there was no guarantee that Ricochet would be back. Another source has told me that Ultimo Dragon return home to Japan after filming on season three wrapped up and has already told the company that he will not be back. Meanwhile, he says that Sexy Star is viewed as a locker room cancer and there are no plans to offer her a new contract. In addition, we have learned that Magnum Terry Allen, Kevin Steen, and Vickie Guerrero were brought in on short-term contracts with larger than normal payouts to fill specific temporary roles. Rumour is that the company is interested in bringing Steen back, but it is not yet known whether interest is mutual. He may be looking for offers from other companies. On the other hand, Magnum Terry Allen won't be back as his character was killed off at the end of his short, successful run with the company. We will update you in the days and weeks ahead as we learn the updated contractual status of each of these luchadores.

Many puroresu publications are reporting that Dragon Gate Pro-Wrestling has joined the Mash-Up Wrestling community as an independent promotion. "Independent" has been defined as having "no officially recognized roster" and the company will utilize spot show agreements with available free agents in order to help them receive more exposure within the overall community. Dragon Gate Pro-Wrestling is currently producing shows as part of their "Gate of Evolution 2019" tour which will culminate on December 4th, 2019 at Korakuen Hall in Bunkyo, Tokyo with "Fantastic Gate 2019", which will be streamed across the Dragon Gate Network.

Season 4 Coming in 2020 It is now official. Lucha Underground has been renewed for a fourth season. It is expected that new episodes will begin airing in February 2020. In anticipation of the new season, producers are busy trying to put together a roster. As has been previously announced, all of the luchadores who've been with the company since its debut have become free agents. Four of these luchadores are currently champions, so it is a high priority to have them return for the next season of the show. Not only that, but there are some other luchadores who've hit free agency as well. We'll let you know who they are as soon as we know. In the meantime, sources have confirmed that Ultimo Dragon, Sexy Star, Magnum T.A., Vickie Guerrero, Dragon Lee, Dragon Rojo, Cheeseburger, and Ultimate Warrior won't be back for season 4. As previously noted, Ultimo Dragon has opted to return to Japan and will only come back stateside to work for a more traditional professional wrestling territory. Also, Sexy Star was viewed as a locker room cancer so producers have decided not to hire her again. Magnum T.A. and Vickie Guerrero were both working on temporary per appearance contracts. With their storyline resolved, Magnum was permitted to look elsewhere and Guerrero has chosen to return home to Texas. Spreaking of Magnum T.A., rumour has it that he's already been hired by another territory. It is said that Dragon Lee and Dragon Rojo opted to return to Mexico to work as neither luchador was pleased with his lack of airtime. There is evidence that this rumour may be true as neither of them appeared on Ultima Lucha Tres. Rumour has it that the Ultimate Warrior demanded a huge pay raise to come back for a fourth season. One inside source said they could pay five other big name talents for Warrior's fee, so they've decided to stop negotiations and find new talent to bring into the territory.

The scene: a darkened USF Sun Dome in Tampa. The middle of the floor. One man stands, partially obscured by the shadows... his name is Brian Pillman.
"It seems like my timing couldn't be worse. Just when I get back to MLW, it turns out that George Steinbrenner didn't like wrestling as much as he said he did. I guess when you go a whole decade without a World Series win, you get pissed off after everything else. And you know what, when I think about it, that's alright. You see, I only need to get my hands on the Horsemen once - just once - because when I'm through with them, they won't be able to wrestle again for a long, long time."
"It's War Games. It's them versus me and my team. Me, and the Attitude Era. You think that the Undisputed Era is all that? They couldn't hold our jocks."
"First of all, you have the 'Loose Cannon', Brian Pillman. If ANYONE is representative of the Attitude Era, of the sex and violence and balls-to-the-wall, boundary-testing wrestling that we did during the best time to be fan of this sport... it's me!"
"I also have one of the most decorated tag-teams ever on my side. And they didn't have to find God or marry the boss's daughter to get ahead. Hell, they left the WWE on their own terms and keep firing shots at them! If you can't figure out who I'm talking about, well, I got two words for you..."
And the New Age Outlaws - Billy Gunn and Jesse James - stepped into the light.
"Who else is on our team? Well, I have a heavy hitter on my squad, who was one of the most violent, hated men in a territory with the worst fanbase on Earth. If they didn't love you, they hated you - and this guy loved to be hated. He spit on a mother and daughter in the crowd - you think he cares about getting into a cage and fighting the Horsemen?"
And Bully Ray joined Pillman and the Outlaws in the light.
"Finally, I found a young, hungry wrestler that we can groom for the future. Someone who carry the Attitude Era torch into the next decade and beyond. Someone who would have fit right in with us then, and someone who fits like a glove for us now, because - like the rest of us - we could care less whether you cheer or boo us when we get in the ring. The only thing on all of our minds is the destruction of the Horsemen."
Finally, Austin Theory stepped out to join Pillman and his Attitude Era. They were ready to go to war.
