Also starring BCCW Owner & General Manager: Stephanie McMahon!!
Feat: Backstage Correspondent / Postfight Analyst: Renee YoungBCCW kicks open the doors to 2018 with a bang. It all started shortly after New Years on BCCW TV, when undisputed owner & GM Stephanie McMahon revealed a giant-sized "EGG" that would sit atop a nearby podium for the next several months. It was promised this "EGG" would hatch to reveal a new era in Mash-Up Wrestling. Meanwhile the action inside the BCCW ring continues to heat up. Those exciting events, moments and matches will be highlighted TONIGHT! At "New Years Evolution 2018" - where unprecedented SEASON 9 of our shared Mash-Up Wrestling experience begins! _________________________________________________________Megumi Kudo (1997) def. Mickie James (2007)
[Xtreme Rulez Woman's Bout]Megumi Kudo has made quite a name for herself since debuting in BCCW (as a pseudo Asuka-lite). Meanwhile, heel Mickie James is fresh off her psycho-stalker run and has developed some kind of fetish/cult fascination for Megumi in the past few weeks. Their runs in became increasingly bizarre (and violent) until this became the only clear way to settle issues between the two warriors. GM Stephanie McMahon herself was proud to announce this "Xtreme Rulez" stipulation as being another precedent in #WomansRevolution history. Shockingly violent match to open the card using chairs, ring posts - and in the climatic final spot - a wooden table set up on two steel ringsteps! Megumi Kudo wins after driving Mickie James through the contraption with a top rope powerbomb! Woman's wrestling takes another giant step! (Forward or backward, depending on your inclination!)
Winner: MEGUMI KUDO-- cut 2 backstage promos --_________________________________________________________"Outlaw" James Storm (2016) w/ The Ascension
def.
Low-Ki (2007)
[Middleweight Bout]Beer-swilling bottle-breaking villainous cowboy vs. Fan-favorite mercenary assassin with a bad attitude. Hard-hitting Middleweight Bout between the two forces that finds them nearly evenly-matched, until James Storm's brainwashed cultist followers (The Ascension) exert their influence and prove to be difference-makers. BAM! Low-Ki is pinned after a beer bottle / superkick combo! Beware the Outlaw and his band of merry infidels.
-- Backstage Interview with reigning BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champions Woken Wyatt Clan. They are ready to face the spectral forces of energy that the Demon Kane has promised will arrive! 6-Man Title Defense! TONIGHT! --_________________________________________________________StrikeForce 3000 (Martel & Santana 1988 + Matt Riddle 2018)
def. Heavenly Bodies vs. Lucha Dragons (Kalisto / Sin Cara / Mistico)
[BCCW 6-Man Tag Team TRIPLE THREAT Bout]Showcase bout for the ever-thriving BCCW 6-Man Tag Team division. We are the longest standard bearers of the genre with a title lineage encompassing all of 6-Man history (both real & fictional). Most of our combinations are history mixed with contemporary parallels, with this bout being a perfect example. All 3 teams get a chance to strut their stuff and work their spots. Lucha Dragons perform some otherworldly feats, but Strike Force remain super-over with the fans - especially bare-footed young gun Matthew Riddle. In the end, it's Strike Force 3000 picking up the pin over their BCCW-rival Heavenly Bodies with a triple-team Tag delight. Bring on the champions!
Winners: STRIKE FORCE 3000-- cut to video package for Middleweight Title Match --_________________________________________________________** BCCW Middleweight Championship **AJ Styles (2018) def. "Dangerous" Danny McShain (1948)Whew boy. Where to begin on this one. So as recently as last month, HBK Shawn Michaels has been our reigning Middleweight champion. He rewrote history with a brilliant series of bouts with Seth Rollins and earned "Match of the Year" accolades. But suddenly, Shawn's tune changed in January when he found out he would be facing new #1 Contender (and ex-ally during the Summer months) AJ Styles. Without precedent, Shawn Michaels marched out onto BCCW TV Episode #113 in Lowell MA and delivered a tearful monologue in which he claimed he "lost his smile" and gave up his Middleweight belt! So BCCW had to do an about-face and pivot 180 degrees mere days before this PPV. Instead, AJ Styles won an abrupt Middleweight Battle Royal for the belt - and the man he last eliminated to win the title (his friend and BCCW-ally Danny McShain) turned HEEL to battle him here. McShain proves why he's "Dangerous" - with a tombstone piledriver that is known as being particularly lethal. McShain is also considered the forefather of blading in professional wrestling, and uses that skill with deadly efficiency tonight. Both men bleed for the belt, with AJ displaying a lions heart in victory tonight. Hard-earned "Styles Clash" finisher to a bloody Danny McShain gets AJ a win in his first title defense. Gaze upon the crimson mask of the champ and you will realize that AJ Styles is the face that runs this place!
Winner (and *STILL* Middleweight Champion): AJ STYLES!!-- cut 2 video recap & commentator summary --_________________________________________________________** Mash-Up Wrestling WOMAN'S Championship **Chyna (2001) def. Charlotte Flair (2018) -- via DQ --The storied rivalry (and secret war) between Stephanie McMahon & Chyna is longstanding. Ever since the day Steph "stole" HHH for herself, Chyna began her gradual descent into madness. But with the magic of Mash-Up Wrestling, Chyna has reinvented herself as the original Glamazon Princess, fresh out of 2001 and with the Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD Woman's Championship held highly! Now as undisputed WORLD Champion, Chyna cannot be denied! Stephanie's rulings were overturned and Chyna would be allowed to defend her belt in BCCW Territory! But bitter Stephanie would not be denied. She put a bounty on Chyna and watched as Charlotte Flair cashed in, nearly crippling Chyna in the process with her brutal attacks to the knee! Tonight Charlotte proves why she's Alpha Female and the "dirtiest player in the game" with a concentrated assault on Chyna's weakened appendage. For once in her mighty reign atop the Mash-Up Wrestling Woman's division, Chyna looks vulnerable! Like an underdog! But with the fans approval fueling her on (and no doubt her desire to see Stephanie's wishes spoiled at all costs), Chyna fires back - winds up powering OUT of a "Figure 8" from Charlotte (!!) - and hitting a "Pedigree" on Charlotte Flair for the climatic nearfall! But before Chyna can win the match - she is bumrushed by
"The Sisterhood" stable (Sammi Lane / Mistress Belmont / Toxxis), all looking to cash in on Steph's bounty! The Sisterhood causes the DQ, but allow for the feel-good moment when Chyna rallies back against all 3 women to drive them from the ring one by one!
Winner (and *STILL* Woman's Champion): CHYNA (2001)
-- BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE --
Renee Young catches up with a perturbed Stephanie McMahon, who addresses the Chyna situation. Stephanie promises she will have her day in the sun and bring down Chyna once and for all. But until then, Stephanie is taking every precaution to make sure Bruan Strowman doesn't make himself an uninvited guest again. Braun Strowman may have won WWEFan Royal Rumble 2018, but he was FIRED from BCCW! If he shows up tonight he'll also be ARRESTED! -- cut 2 ring --
_________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **Brothers of Destiny (Kane & Undertaker + Crow Sting)
def.
Woken Wyatt Clan (Bray Wyatt + Woken Matt & Brother Nero)
Most haunting match of the evening, with months worth of arcane build-up & suspense. Bray Wyatt & Woken Matt warred over the spirit of Sting to begin with, as each man claimed a fraction of that power. But when Undertaker & Sting apparently drove themselves into destruction (at "Halloween in Hell 2017"), Wyatt & Hardy took it as a sign of greater divine meaning. Their two divergent camps became one, and the "Woken Wyatt Clan" pillaged it's way to the top of the BCCW 6-Man Tag Team heap. Until late last year, when esoteric & bizarre imagery began to haunt their TV appearances. It was all symbolism on the path to revealing this ultimate Dream Team - the "Brothers of DESTINY!" Taker & Sting are the immortal forces, with Kane chosen to be their avatar. It was Kane who made the first appearance, teasing the return of the Undertaker - and finally revealing the full scope of their union. That power manifests itself with brutal and chilling force tonight, conquering the Woken Wyatt Clan in ways unforeseen just weeks ago. They appear to show real FEAR tonight in the face of unbeatable odds! The surprise team of Taker/Kane/Sting rage their way to victory in a Tornado-style brawl that is both defiant and definite! Scorpion Deathdrop / Stereo Chokeslam combo from the "Brothers of Destiny" simultaneously seals the deal! We have new 6-Man Tag Team Champions! The reign of horror perpetuated by the Woken Wyatt Clan is over!...
(but has an even greater evil been awoken?? Stay tuned!!) Winners (and *NEW* 6-Man Tag Team Champions): BROTHERS of DESTINY!!-- cut 2 stunned commentator summary & recap --_________________________________________________________** BCCW Heavyweight Championship **"Black Panther" Frank Sexton (1948) def. Seth Rollins (2018)Seth Rollins was once one of Stephanie's precious "Shield" that helped her usurp control of BCCW. But when that alliance flamed out (rumors say HHH was leery of a potential romantic liaison between Steph & Seth), it became bitter & violent. Now Seth Rollins is the "King Slayer" out to overthrow Stephanie and her regime. He has blindsided and disrupted her at every turn, necessitating this encounter tonight. The power-mad Heel champion Frank Sexton (1948) has been tasked with disciplining Seth Rollins for his infractions. Incredible timeline battle the likes of which you can only see in BCCW. Generations clash over the deepest Title in the game. Proud Boston Championship! Sexton counts on his old-school acumen to lull Rollins into a Curb Stomp attempt, and a reverse-reverse roll-up (with the handful of tights & foot on the ropes!) for the pinfall!
Winner (and *STILL* Heavyweight Champion): FRANK SEXTON-- cut 2 commentator recap & summary --Stephanie McMahon herself proudly appears to have Seth Rollins escorted from the building by security! Seth Rollins - still boggled over the loss - snaps! But Stephanie has a back-up plan (in the form of EC3 / Diesel / Frank Sexton) and she orders them to TAKE Seth Rollins out! This time Rollins is ruthlessly pummeled 3-on-1 and hit with all 3 finishers in rapid succession! In the end, all 3 men + Stephanie in the middle - pose over Rollins fallen body before he is stretchered out of the arena and put in an ambulance! Stephanie McMahon has just reminded the world nobody crosses the boss!!-- cut 2 video vignettes --
_________________________________________________________"Glorious" Bobby Roode (2018) & Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) 1988defeat
Bret "Hitman" Hart (1997) / Kevin Owens (2017) / Sami Zayn (2017)
[BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Bout]Roode has feuded with Hart and his merry men over the last few months, as Hart's Anti-American rhetoric really heated up. Roode promised a "glorious" surprise for his mystery partners tonight and delivered in spades. All-American Hell Raisers the Road Warriors (on loan from WWEFan for this cross-promotional Main Event appearance) burst back onto the BCCW scene after a prolonged absence! Raucous 6-Man Tag Team bout to headline the show and send the fans home happy. "Doomsday Device" to Sami Zayn followed by a "Glorious DDT" to Kevin Owens picks up the pinfall for the good guys! WORLD Champion Bret Hart is silenced in defeat, at least for one night!
Winners: BOBBY ROODE & ROAD WARRIORS-- Postmatch, Road Warriors chase KO & Sami Zayn all the way through the crowd and backstage - leaving Bret Hart alone with Bobby Roode. Hart winds up sucker-punching Roode and beating him down with a steel chair - including a steel ring post-assisted Figure 4! But before Bret Hart can totally destroy Roode... ROOOOOAAAAARRRR! We get the unscheduled run-in from recently-fired BRAUN STROWMAN (2018!) The "Monster Among Men" literally DRIVES A MACK TRUCK to ringside (!!) - squashes Bret Hart with a running powerslam - SNAPS the Canadian flag over his knee - and tears apart Stephanie's precious ringside area! Braun Strowman ends the night by chasing Stephanie/EC3/Diesel out of the building where they are forced to flee into the night! Stephanie's face is one of abject HORROR! BUT BRAUN'S NOT THROUGH WITH YOU YET!! -- [Fade Out]
