They just had the unfortunate luck of standing on the tracks when the train was running through. Bruce Prichard, this is a message to you. Do not disrespect Andre the Giant again or next time, it will be much worse.” Andrew points into the camera and says “don’t disrespect me.”

Missy Hyatt is in the back with Col. Robert Fuller, Paul Orndorff and Kurt Angle. Fuller brags how when the night is over, he’ll have top two singles champions in WCW.
Angle speaks. “Randy Savage, you recently made fun of the three I’s, calling me ignorant, an imbecile and an ignoramus. And that’s because you wouldn’t know integrity, intelligence and intensity if it jumped up and bit you on your bandana. A lot of people are saying a ladder match suits you more than me, because it’s not so much about wrestling acumen. I didn’t win a gold medal with a broken freaking neck because I was such a great wrestler, believe it or not, it’s because I had integrity, intelligence and intensity and that’s what will let me win here tonight.”
Paul Orndorff talks. “Dusty Rhodes, I don’t need the three I’s to beat you here tonight and become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion once again. All I need are the three Ps. Piledriver. Piledriver. Piledriver. I’m going to plant you into the mat with extreme prejudice. Me winning that title back has been a long and winding road that should have been a lot simpler, but the powers that be would rather have a common man representing the common wrestling fans out there than a perfect specimen of manhood like Mr. Wonderful. I’ve been held down and held back from getting the match I deserved, but that all ends here tonight and the second world title reign of Paul Orndorff begins.”

Missy Hyatt has Randy Savage in the back. “Kurt Angle said the Macho Man doesn’t know integrity. I’m honest as the day is long and we’re in daylight savings time, uh-huh, yeah. He says I don’t know intelligence. I’ve got more brains in my little finger than Kurt Angle has in his whole damn body, uh-huh, yeah. And intensity. (Savage whips off his sunglasses). Cameraman, zoom in real close and show Kurt Angle the look in my eyes as I stare into the videoscope. You tell me you don’t see intensity in these eyes, Kurt Angle. You tell me you don’t see a man who is going to snap you in half. You don’t see a man who is going to be the black cat cutting across your path when you walk under a ladder here tonight, uh-huh, yeah. Intensity is my middle name, uh-huh, yeah. “Macho Man” Randall Intensity Savage. And you’ll learn that tonight, Kurt. Dig it!”

Steve Austin and Bret Hart are getting ready in the locker room for their world tag team title shot later on tonight. Austin tells Bret that he’s been awfully cold and quiet to him lately and he wants to know what’s going on. Bret feels like he’s the only one really investing in this partnership and trying to make their tag team something while Austin is off wrestling singles matches and being his usual flippant self. Austin says he might talk a good game, but he’s all serious inside that ring. They might not be the most natural tag team, but they’re the two best singles wrestlers in WCW so let’s combine that into the best tag team and win some gold tonight.

Bruce Prichard is in front of the medical unit getting an update on Wendi Richter and Toni Storm. Both women have stingers and are a bit out of it, but should be fine. Prichard then turns into Andre the Giant with Maria right by his side. Prichard tells them attacking the ladies in the opening contest was uncalled for. Maria said a message needed to be sent and that’s how Andre chose to send it. Unless you want more of the same, you better respect Andre and honor the WCW Wild Card Champion as the top man in WCW. Prichard retorts Andre just won the strap at War is Hell and the Clash of the Champions card was already set. Maria said that’s bull as the Von Erichs didn’t win the trios titles until War is Hell and they defended tonight.
