Commentary: Gorilla Monsoon and Wade Barrett
Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta

Gorilla Monsoon and Wade Barrett welcome everyone to the show and say since Nitro was devoted to the men of WCW, this special Thunder will be all about the women of WCW. That includes Taya Valkyrie defending the WCW U.S. Women’s Title in the main event against Kamille Kaine. And we have a debut for the opening match.
Decay (Rosemary and Jessicka Havoc) with Crazzy Steve defeated the All-Sister Squadron (Gigi Dolin and Nikkita Lyons) by pinfall of Havok on Dolin via Tombstone Piledriver at 7:34. Lyons and Dolin argue post match.

Amber Nova gets an upset victory over Tessa Blanchard by pinfall via Novacaine (Reverse STO) at 5:59. While Nova is faking a leg injury, Kamille Kaine (who has been feuding with Blanchard) runs out and spears her. Nova makes a miraculous recovery and gets the win.

“The Queen” Charlotte Flair in a pre-taped promo talks about being the longest reigning WCW Women’s Champion of all time with the most title reigns. She’s laid low since winning the belt back at Starrcade International, because she doesn’t need to prove herself to the WCW women’s division, they need to prove themselves to her. But, she does need to prove herself to one person and that’s UWA Universal Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. Flair admits to losing to Cargill twice, but they say the third time's the charm. And, Flair learns from every defeat, it’s why she doesn’t have many. Cargill isn’t smart enough or good enough to improve with every match. Her luck will run out if they face again. Flair guarantees victory in the women’s Tremendous Tussle.

Lady Frost defeated Tygress by pinfall via Ice Pick DDT at 4:11. Tygress surprised Frost with a roll up, but they come up with Frost scoring a dropkick and following with her Snowball Fight (rolling hip attack in the corner) and then getting the duke from there.

We get a pre-taped promo from Molly Holly about how she’s back active in the women’s division. She enjoyed her time as a referee and backstage agent helping the other ladies, but her heart belongs in the ring. The Tremendous Tussle is the opportunity she needs to get back on top of not only WCW, but the UWA.

Madusa Micelli cuts a pre-taped promo about how, just like Nick Aldis, she believes Mickie James is nothing but yesterday’s news. She’s looking ahead to the future and as much as he wants to get her hands on Charlotte Flair and the WCW Women’s Title, winning the Tremendous Tussle gets her to the bigger prize of the UWA Universal Women’s Title and Jade Cargill.

Taya Valkyrie retained the WCW U.S. Women’s Title against Kamille Kaine by pinfall via Road to Vahalla at 12:46. While out on the floor, Taya distracts the referee and Blanchard runs out, nails Kaine with a spear and then rolls her into the ring for Valkyrie to get the win.
