Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
Interviewer: SoCal Val
Referees: Tommy Young, Joey Marella and Aubrey Edwards
“Mega Man” Tom Magee and Madusa Micelli with Col. Robert Fuller defeated “Grizzled” Sam Houston and Rockin’ Robin by pinfall of Magee on Houston via Mega Driver at 7:11. During the match Jake Roberts comes down to the ring pushing a large wooden box on wheels. He removes the lid and the cameraman gets a shot of snakes slithering in the box. Houston notices and yells at his brother, allowing Magee to nail him in the back. Houston falls into Robin, who falls off the apron into the snake box. This leads to the finish. Roberts pushes the box to the back, but Houston recovers, jumps Roberts on the entrance stage and rescues Robin from inside.

SoCal Val finds Sam Houston in the back near the medical station. Robin unfortunately didn’t take any bites and she seems shook up more than anything. Roberts comes in with his hands up to signal he doesn’t want to fight. He hopes his siblings enjoyed his present, a pit of vipers for a pit of vipers. The only snake in their family is Jake. Houston dares Jake to bring that box of snakes to Starrcade with him and he’ll be the one going into it. Jake was hoping Sam would say that. He’ll have the box there and he’ll put the final nail in the coffin of this sibling rivalry.
“The Prizefighter” Kevin Owens defeated “Soulman” Rocky Johnson with Dr. of Style, Slick by pinfall via Stunner at 9:32.

Hulk Hogan stops Kevin Owens in the back after his match with Johnson. Hogan needs a big favor from Owens. Anything, Hulkster. Hogan is supposed to tag with the Funks in the main event, but he’s got to pick-up his kids from school, so if Owens could fill in, that would be great. Hogan punches Owens in the arm and walks off. It takes Owens a moment to recover and then he yells “it’s night…and how old are your kids now?”
“Universal Treasure” Nick Aldis defeated Brian Pillman Sr. by pinfall via Treasure Chest at 12:14. Aldis goes up top for the Macho Man elbow, but Pillman gets ups and shakes the ropes so Aldis crotches himself. Davey Boy Smith then comes out and jaws at Pillman. This allows Aldis to recover and nail a flying clothesline off the top, which sets up the finish.

Davey Boy Smith is on the interview stage with SoCal Val. What just happened in the ring demonstrates that Davey Boy is living rent free in Pillman’s head. Pillman makes the stage and he doesn’t deny it, but if Smith is going out of his way to mess with Pillman that shows he’s in Smith’s head too. The thing that bugs him about Pillman is this father of the year crap he’s been peddling after being out of his son’s life for years. Pillman said he’ll bring his son and Smith bring his to Starrcade and he’ll find out who the best father and son unit is.
Tessa Blanchard defeated Nikkita Lyons by pinfall via Buzzsaw DDT at 7:03. Ember Moon runs out with a chair after the match and throws it at Blanchard while performing a seated dropkick to kick it into her. Blanchard dodges it and Moon splats to the mat. Blanchard stomps Moon, then gives her the Buzzsaw onto the chair.

“Superstar” Billy Graham defeated Junkyard Dog by submission via full nelson at 10:10. The ref gets bumped and the Powers of Fear run out and beat down JYD, so he’s easy pickings for Graham.
After the match, “Number One” Paul Jones, halfway down the aisle, yells at the production staff to show Tony Atlas beat down in the back. But where, oh where, is Bobby Lashley. Lashley then appears on the entrance stage. Jones tells Lashley the choice is his. He can wade into a three on one to get revenge for two guys who wouldn’t do the same for him or he can turn around and walk away right now. Lashley looks like he’s going to turn around and leave, but then he turns back around, charges and spears Paul Jones to a big pop. The Face of Fear clear the ring and chase Lashley to the back.

The New Foundation (Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart) defeated Power Station (Will Hobbs and Odyssey Jones) with Dr. of Style, Slick by pinfall of Hart on Hobbs via frog splash at 10:43. The New Foundation advance to face FTR at Starrcade for the UWA Universal Tag Team Titles.
A pre-tape promo from Chris Jericho talks about how he’s the ayatollah of rock ‘n rolla and he’s been rolling all over the UWA defending the Universal Men’s Title. Most people didn’t think he’d hold it for long, but he’s still got the gold and all his challengers have been left in the cold. Sure, Kurt Angle is a multi-time world champion. Sure, Kurt Angle is an Olympic hero. Sure, Kurt Angle won a gold medal on a broken freaking neck. But, he’s never won the UWA Universal Men’s Title and that won’t change at Starrcade. Kurt will be crying in his milk while Y2J enjoys a little bit of the bubbly.

The Honky Tonk Man is on the entrance stage with his guitar. He says if the Nitro Girls are good enough to dance with that flake Disco Inferno, they’re good enough to dance with him to some real music. The Nitro Girls come out, but so does Disco decked out like a one man band. HTM has his back to Disco. He smacks Honky upside his head with a pair of cymbals and then swings around to nail him with the bass drum on his back to knock him off the entrance stage to the floor. Disco marches the ladies back out.
Thunder Rosa defeated Ivory by submission via Snake Sleeper at 6:06.

SoCal Val has Charlotte Flair on the entrance stage. She’s wearing the WCW Women’s Title. She’s heard that looking at Kamille Kaine should be like looking in the mirror for Charlotte. She’s the three Bs just like Charlotte - blonde, big boobed and built. But that’s where the surface similarities end. Flair is by far the better wrestler, the smarter woman and by far more talented. Kamille then comes out and stands face to face with Flair. Kamille, stone faced, tells Flair to think that. Underestimate her and that will be her downfall at Starrcade.
The Miracle Workers (Eli Drake and Mike Bennett) and “Killer” Kevin Kross with Maria Kannellis-Bennett defeated The Funk Brothers (Dory and Terry) with Kevin Owens at pinfall of Kross on Owens via Doomsday Saito at 13:24. The heels isolate Owens and work him over since he’s already worked a match and is tired. The Funks use the branding irons to run the heels off afterward.
