As UWF Commissioner Jim Barnett said last week, the new UWA Men's World's Heavyweight Champion in Chris Jericho is here today & we welcome Mr. Jericho to the UWF. The new champ joins them shaking hands with Solie & Stewart as the fans cheer. Jericho says he knows he is new to the UWF & he thanks everyone for a warm welcome. Chris says it was a long road with a lot of wins & some losses on his way to winning the UWA belts. Now onto UWF World's Heavyweight Champion Ken Shamrock. Jericho says Shamrock's record speaks for itself -- beating Bill Goldberg for one thing. The UWF is in great physical shape & he knows the wrestling business. However, come Nov. 19, Ken has to beat me to win the belt. And I love this belt so I'm not going to give it up. Remember Mr. Shamrock, you have to beat me. See you tonight.
Suddenly out walks UWF World's Heavyweight Champion Ken Shamrock. Solie reminds both men there are on good behavior. Ken says he wants to shake the new champ's hand. They shake after seconds pas. Ken tells Chris he is right -- the challenger must beat the champion. But reminds him, he knows how to win & win by submission. I'll see you in a few hours Chris Jericho. Be ready to be beat.
