Jim Ross & Les Thatcher introduce themselves then welcome the fans to another episode of the National Wrestling Alliance's Championship Wrestling. They in turn introduce ring announcer Christy Hemme & backstage announcer Charly Caruso. Jim & Les immediately begin hyping the next Par-Per-View event set for Sunday, August 30 in Washington, DC at the MCI Center. The PPV is called Retribution. And card began being worked on the day after the last PPV.
Commissioner Jim Barnett comes out to announce that one of the matches signed after last week's show is a return match for the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship. The new champ Nick Bockwinkel defends against the man he beat for the belt Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine in what should be a great match. Right now they are working on several stipulations for the match which will be announced next week. Another match signed as a result of last week's PPV is Seth Rollins getting a crack at the World's Junior Heavyweight Belt held by Danny Hodge. That should be a whale of a match.
Out comes manager James J. Dillon looking a lot happier than he was last week. Dillon is pleased with the immediate rematch between Valentine & Bockwinkel. Mr. Valentine will regain the title August 30. JJ is also out to discuss his United States Heavyweight Champion 'Ravishing' Rick Rude defending the belt against 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff. Dillon says they are tied of looking across the ring at a loser like Orndorff. He wants a stipulation making this the final title shot for Orndorff for the remainder of the year. Barnett says he will talk to the Board of Directors about the stipulation.
Here come's a very concerned Orndorff. He makes no bones about not liking or agreeing to that kind of stipulation. Dillon edges him on until Paul clocks JJ with a a right hand, knocking him on his ass. The Commissioner instructs Paul to leave immediately as the go to a commercial break.

4th. Match. 4 Man Tag Team Match. Wahoo McDaniel & Nikita Koloff vs. Rob Conway & Nick Dinsmore.
5th. Match. Non-Title Single Match. Lou Thesz vs. NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkel w/mgr. Rock Hunter.

1st. Match. Single Match. Stan 'Lariat' Hansen vs. Jeff Farmer. (5:21). Following the match, Hansen joins Jim & Les at the desk to announce that 'Outlaw' Ron Bass stepped up to be his tag team partner until 'Bruiser' Brody is cleared to wrestle. The Lariat has some strong words for the Butcher & the especially the Sheik for throwing the fire. Payback is coming boys.
Commercial break includes Charley announces the NWA is on the road this week across the great state of Texas from Amarillo to San Antonio.
2nd. Match. Single Match. Vampiro debuts & defeated Steve Cox with a Tombstone Piledriver. (7:47). During the match, Jake 'the Snake' Roberts joins Ross & Thatcher at the desk to scout Vampiro who he has heard a lot about. The Snake seems interested in Vampiro.
Commercial break includes a Charly interview with the Brainbusters (Arne Anderson & Tully Blanchard) on how the tag team champions in the NWA are not taking their challenges serious. Whether it's Dick Slater & Bon Orton Jr. or Abdullah the Butcher & the Sheik, business is business. The Brainbusters need that gold around their waists & are going to get some.
3rd. Match. Ladies Non-Title Single Match. NWA Women's World's Champion Gail Kim seconded by Taryn Terrell won by disq. over Madison Rayne (of the Beautiful People) w/Velvet Sky after Angeline Love ran into the ring followed by Wendi Ritcher..(7:22).
Commercial break includes a Charly interview with Seth Rollins who is already proclaiming himself as the next NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion. Hodge should just turn the belt over to him.
4th. Match. 4 Man Tag Team Match. Wahoo McDaniel & Nikita Koloff over Rob Conway & Nick Dinsmore. (8:12). McDaniel chopped Dinsmore for the 1-2-3. After the win, Wahoo & Nikita join Ross & Thatcher at the desk to talk about their teaming up to go after the tag team belts.
Commercial break includes a Charly interview with the Kentuckians (Grizzly Smith & Big Luke Brown) on their problems they have been having with one Col. JC Dykes & his masked Infenos. The promise the leaded boot & the masks are coming off.
5th. Match. Single Match. Lou Thesz wrestled to a 10-minute time limit draw with NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkel w/mgr. Rock Hunter. Joining Jim & Les at the desk is Valentine & Dillon to point out the short cummings they see in Bockwinkel as a wrestler. Hunter & Bockwinkel leave ringside after the match & have a stare down with Valentine & Dillon. Jim & Les close the show telling the fans they will see them next week.
