All Japan Pro Wrestling also known as Zen Nihon Puroresu is based out of Tokyo, Japan.
The main office is located on the 8th floor of the Yushima Building.
AJPW also operates a dojo located in the Shibuya Ward of Tokyo.
The PWF- Pacific Wrestling Federation as the Governing Body for AJPW's titles.
The PWF Chairman is wrestling great Lord James Blears.
NTV holds the national broadcast rights and 15% ownership of AJPW. The other 85% is owned by Shohei "Giant" Baba and Makoto Baba.
The Titles are as follows:
Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship
These titles are awarded to the best heavyweight singles wrestler in All Japan. The PWF Heavyweight Title is seen on the lower right of the picture. The NWA United National Championship is on the lower left and on the top is the NWA International heavyweight Championship.
World Tag Titles
These titles are awarded to the best tag team in AJPW. The belts consist of the PWF World Tag Team Championship on the bottom and the NWA International Tag Team Championship seen on the top.
All Asia Tag Team Titles
These tag titles are presented as the secondary tag team championship.
AJPW Junior Heavyweight Crown
This title is awarded to the best singles wrestler in the Junior Heavyweight class. The designation of "Junior" has nothing to do with age, but denotes the lighter weight class of professional wrestler.
All Japan operates on a touring model. Regular tours will consist of 10 events per month.
Special Events:
Champion Carnival- An 8 man round robin tournament. The winner will receive a check for 10 Million Yen and a Triple Crown Championship match. If the tournament is won by the reigning Triple Crown Champion, there is a bonus of 5 million yen added. This tournament normally happens in April.
Real(Strongest) World Determination Tag League- An 8 team round robin tournament for tag teams. The winning team will receive a check for 20 Million Yen (10 Million Yen for each team member) and a title shot for the World Tag Titles. If the reigning champs win the tournament, they will receive a 10 Million Yen bonus.
New Year's Battle Royale: This special battle royale occurs on 1.2 of each year. The winner will receive a 10 Million yen bonus.
Ring Officials:
Joe Higuchi: Referee known for his matching shirt and pants, white belt, white shoes and bald head.
Kyohei Wada: Referee known for his jet black hair, white polo and amazing agility and quickness in getting in position for a balanced count.
Ryu Nakada: Ring Announcer and Time Keeper.
Notable Venues:
Korakuen Hall: This is a historic venue that has hosted many wrestling and kakutogi events over the years. AJPW will have weekend events on its tours here. Capacity set for approx. 2,100.
Ryogoku Kokugikan: Also known as "Tokyo Sumo Hall." AJPW will have a limited number of large events here. (Excluding Jan., may or Sept.). Capacity set for approx. 10,025.
Nippon Budokan: This is the normal venue for tour ending events. Also known as the Martial Arts Dome. Capacity set for 14,470.
Tokyo Dome: The home of the Yomiuri Giants in Japanese Baseball, the Dome has a capacity of 67,500 and is very rarely used, a max of 1-2 times a year for a supercard.
Wrestling Style:
AJPW prides itself on "King's Road" style in which blood letting is discouraged, pinfalls are favored over submissions, and only accepting defeat when your fighting spirit is exhausted.
