We’re really glad that you’re our friend and this is a friendship that will never, ever end.
Bray Wyatt walks through the front door of the Firefly Funhouse and greets us. He says that he has something very special to share with us today. He asks if he want to know what it is. A chorus of children’s voices say they do. He tells us that he has a secret and he wants to share it with us. The chorus of children’s voices cheer. Wyatt says that fills his heart with so much joy all he can do is say, “Yowie Wowie!”
Abby the Witch suddenly appears at the window, above a beautiful window box full of yellow daisies. She complains about being woken up by a loud noise. Wyatt sees her and tells her she’s here just in time for his to share his secret with everyone. Abby the Witch tells him that he’s let her down before, so this had better he good. Wyatt frowns for a moment and then smiles and before saying that we’re all going to want to hear this, especially one little boy, who is watching from his dark and depressing home, where he feels sad and alone.
Wyatt says that last time he said that he received a gift from the gods, a gift so magnificent and wonderful that it brought him here where he is today, in his happy place. He learned to use this power to heal the hurt within and to harness the darkness inside his soul to become more powerful than any man could ever dream of.
“So do you want to see my secret?”
Images of broken toys and the smashed-in skulls of infant dolls flash before our eyes, the light disappears and reappears. “Let me in!” Facing away from us, the figure of a large being, with red and black striped pants, a black leather jacket and gloves, and a tangled mess of dreadlocks appears. He sings Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and disappears as quickly as he came.
Back in the Firefly Funhouse, Wyatt says he knows that the gods have given Matanza a powerful gift, but he has not yet fully realized what he can do with it. Wyatt says he can teach him how to harness the power of his own darkness to escape from it, to own it, and to foist it onto those who’ve harmed him in the past, whether they are abusive sisters, brothers who abandon, or controlling fathers. Matanza can have all of that and more, he says. All he has to do is follow the path of salvation – walk out the door that keeps him in captivity and please the gods by making them the ultimate sacrifice. They will not steer him wrong. They will point him in the right direction so he can realize that his destiny to:
“Let me in!”

Matanza Cueto was standing in his cell holding a smartphone in his hands. He had just finished watching the Firefly Funhouse. He looked up at the cell door, then back down at the now black screen, and back at the door. He threw the phone against the stone wall and then went to the locked cell door, grabbed the bars and began shaking them. He ripped the door off it’s hinges and threw it aside. Across the room, sitting a table, he found the Gauntlet of the Gods and put it on. Bolts of electric energy shot out from the gauntlet as he held it up in front of his masked face and slowly bent the fingers into a fist. Then, he knocked the metal door of the room out of its casing with a single punch of his gauntlet-worn hand and exited the room.

Featuring: Angel Garza, Gran Metallik, Juventud Guerrera, Ivelisse, Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Mercedes Martinez, Psicosis, Rosemary, Super Crazy
Before this battle royal began, Antonio Cueto came out of his office to announce that there was one empty spot to be filled in Aztec Warfare and the winner of this match would get it. A minute passed in the match before Lince Dorado was launched over the ropes by Angel Garza. Before he could hit the floor, he landed in the arms of Matanza Cueto, who then gave him the Wrath of the Gods on the floor! He was wearing the Gauntlet of the Gods and slammed it into Lince Dorado’s chest. The lights went out, came back on, and Lince Dorado was gone.
The other luchadores were shocked by what had happened, but then kept on fighting. Meanwhile, Matanza hopped into the ring and started going to town on everyone with powerbombs, powerslams, T-bone suplexes, overhead belly-to-belly suplexes, athletic-plexes, and other power moves, until it was just Matanza and Garza standing. Garza waved a finger to tell him to stop. Matanza turned his head quizzically and Garza grabbed his pants, ripped them off and threw them at Matanza. The momentary distracting allowed him to run towards Matanza and do a baseball slide under his legs and out of the ring. Garza waved him off and walked away as Matanza went back to work. One-by-one, he gave everyone in the ring the Wrath of Gods and then sacrificed them to the gods. Eventually, he was alone standing in the ring.
Matanza’s father exited his office and said that this was an unexpected outcome, but a welcome one. He said the gods will be delighted when the hear that Matanza has earned the final spot in Aztec Warfare and will be sacrificing another 19 luchadores to them.
WINNER : Matanza Cueto

TRIOS NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH
INFAMOUS INC. VS. TRUTH MARTINI’S AUTHORS OF PAIN
Mike Awesome, Dr. Wagner Jr. & Dominik Dijakovic vs. Braun Strowman, Akam & Rezar
These trios had a lot of animosity towards one another. Factoring the fact that five of the six luchadores weighed in at over 275-pounds, and you were looking at the potential for a massive big man brawl to break out. That potential was fully realized and then some. The referee lost total control of this match within the first two minutes. The match effectively became a tornado trios contest with brawling on the floor and huge power moves inside the ring.
Highlights saw Awesome and Dijakovic team up to give Strowman a vertical suplex on the floor, Akam and Rezar powerbomb both of them on the floor, and Strowman throw Dr. Wagner Jr. from the ring through a pair of tables 10-feet from the ring. There was also a moment when the ring moved – and nearly fell apart – as Awesome was fighting with Rezar and Dijakovic was fighting with Akam on the ropes in the corner. Dr. Wagner Jr. came over and got into the middle of it. It appeared that the three members of Infamous Inc. were going to suplex both members of the Authors of Pain to the canvas, but then Strowman came into the corner, got under Wager, lifted his hands onto Awesome and Dijakovic and powerbombed the entire trio and they performed a double superplex!
As the match was winding down, Dijakovic started climbing the turnbuckle to go for a moonsault on Stromwan, who was laid out on a table. Strowman got up and dropped Dr. Wagner Jr. with a big boot as he charged at him. Then, he put him on the table and Dijakovic, not noticing the attempts by Famous B and Beautiful Brenda to call him, jumped, thus putting Dr. Wagner Jr. through the table with the moonsault. This miscue was terrible. Now, three-on-two, the Authors of Pain were able to get two more tables into the ring and gave Awesome and Dijakovic the Super Collider with the stereo powerbombs through the tables. This was followed by stereo pinfalls. 1-2-3!
WINNERS : Truth Martini’s Authors of Pain
After the match, Famous B berated Dijakovic for “screwing everything up yet again!” He slapped Dijakovic across the face and told him to look him in the eye when he’s being talked to. Dijakovic didn’t take kindly to it. Famous B saw the error in his ways and begged for forgiveness. Then, he tried to run, but Dijakovic kept him from getting away by grabbing hold of his tie. Dijakovic lifted him onto his shoulders, but Awesome pulled him down and then leveled him with a big boot. He followed it up with a diving clothesline off the top rope, and then an Awesome Bomb! Famous B took a mic and announced that Dijakovic is a loser who can’t do anything right. He went on to say that he doesn’t deserve to be famous so he’s out of Infamous Inc.

Johnny Mundo enters Antonio Cueto’s office. Cueto asks him to what he owes the pleasure. Mundo wants to know why he hasn’t been booked for Aztec Warfare. Cueto tells him that he hasn’t done anything remotely impressive so far this season, so he hasn’t earned the opportunity to compete in a match at Aztec Warfare. Mundo asks him, rhetorically, how he can do anything remotely impressive when Cueto hasn’t given him anything remotely interesting to do. He goes on to remind him that he is Shaman of Sexy and the Mayor of Slamtown, saying that the Believers will be devastated if he isn’t at Aztec Warfare. Cueto tells him that he’s not going to be in the Aztec Warfare match, but he thinks he has something interesting for Mundo to do at Aztec Warfare. Maybe, then, he’ll do something impressive. If he doesn’t, then he won’t get any more matches. Mundo says that even if Cueto runs the place, he can’t stop him from competing in the future. Cueto tells him that he may not be able to, but the gods can.

Samoa Joe vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts
Samoa Joe vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts
This match never even officially got underway. Melissa Santos announced the entrance of Samoa Joe. As soon as he stepped down from the top of the flight of stairs, after pausing to acknowledge the roar of approval from the Believers, he was struck from behind with a steel chair by Jake “The Snake” Roberts. The first shot caused him to stumble. The second caused him to fall down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, Roberts hit Joe with the chair again as he tried to get up. Joe felt it to be sure, but he didn’t go down, so Roberts tossed the chair aside and gave him a DDT on the floor!
After laying him out cold, Roberts reached under the ring and pulled out a large burlap sack. He opened it and dumped a large boa constrictor out of it. He picked up the snake and made like he would set it on the Believers standing in front of the bottom of the bleachers. When Joe began to stir and started to lift his head up, Roberts brought the snake over and wrapped its torso around Joe’s neck, constricting his breathing.
It looked like Samoa Joe might be choked to death until Paul London appeared at the top of the Temple stairs with two other luchadors who we’ve never seen in the Temple before, one a masked mini, another an impeccably well-dressed man with sunglasses and a slick black cane. When Roberts saw them, he looked like he’d seen a ghost. When they started descending the stairs, he fled in the other direction and ran out of view. At the bottom of the steps, the well-dressed luchador produced a white glove from the inside breast pocket of his suitcoat. He put it on and grabbed the boa below the jaw, squeezing with all his might. With the boa now choking, London and the mini freed Joe. They put the boa back in the burlap sack, tied it up, and left, but not before the Paul London took a microphone to declare that he found his spiritual leader, the White Rabbit. He handed the microphone over to the White Rabbit, who said that in order to preserve the principles of the tribal treaty of peace for centuries to come, as leader of the Rabbit Tribe he hereby declares war on the Reptile Tribe.
DECISION: No Contest

LUCHA UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Prince Puma vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.
LUCHA UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Prince Puma vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.
Arguably the two most iconic luchadores to step foot in the Temple stood face-to-face as the bell rung. The Believers were torn. Dualing chants filled the Temple for champion and challenger. They shook hand and wished each other good luck before slowly going for the lock up. It was a slow start the match. They traded technical holds before spending things up and countering or side stepping everything each other attempted. It was very evenly matched and the Believers showed their appreciation for them. The first 15-minutes of the contest were evenly fought with plenty of jaw-dropping highlight reel lucha libre maneuvers by both competitors.
In the last minutes of the match, Prince Puma and Rey Mysterio Jr. wiped each other out with simultaneous running cross-body blocks. They both got up at the same time, and Puma hit Mysterio with some European uppercuts before lifting him into a fireman’s carry. Mysterio delivered some elows and knees to the head to break free. He tried for a rope-assisted roll-up but Puma held onto the top rope. Puma charged at Mysterio and got a drop toehold into the ropes. Mysterio went for the 6-1-9, but Puma ducked it. He got up and ducked a clothesline and then hit Mysterio with a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick. Mysterio ended up caught in the ropes and so Puma went for the 6-1-9 and hit it. Then, he executed a springboard 450-degree splash and hook the leg for the pin. 1…2… Mysterio kicked out!
Puma was shocked. After questioning the referee, he picked up Mysterio and gave him a Benadryller MK2 and covered him, but Mysterio still kicked out. Puma couldn’t believe it. He shook his head and wondered what he should do next. Mysterio got up in the corner, so Puma went to the opposite corner and charged in to give him a delayed dropkick that put him down. Puma climbed to the top rope. He took a moment too long before going for the 630-degree senton because Mysterio rolled in towards the turnbuckle to avoid it. When they got up, Mysterio ran over and jumped onto Puma’s shoulders before taking him down with a hurricanrana with a cover for 1…2… kick out!
When they got up, they trade a few blows before Mysterio hit Puma with an enzuigiri kick that landed him in the ropes. Mysterio went for the 6-1-9, but Puma blocked by catching his legs, then he fought with Mysterio, trying to lift him out of the ropes by the legs. Mysterio tried to hold onto the top rope, but couldn’t. Puma had him in an Alabama slam position, but then flipped him around into position for a tombstone piledriver. He tried throwing his torso out horizontally, which allowed Mysterio to counter into a headscissors implant driver! Mysterio was slow to make the cover but he did and Puma got a shoulder up after a long 2-count.
Puma crawled to the ropes to use them to pick himself up. Mysterio sized him up and this time hit the 6-1-9! He waited for Puma to get up and attempted the West Coast Pop, but Puma held his ground, then powerlifted Mysterio up and tossed him into the corner for a bucklebomb followed by a superkick. With Mysterio now down, Puma went to the top rope, and this time he didn’t hesitate. He executed the 630-degree senton and turned over to make the pin. 1…2…3!
WINNER : Prince Puma
After the match, Prince Puma and Rey Mysterio Jr. hug each other and then Mysterio raises Puma’s hand. Right after it goes up, it goes right back down as Puma is struck in the back with a steel chair by Pentagon DARK, who then turns the chair on Mysterio to put him down. Puma throws down at Pentagon, but Pentagon eventually ducks a haymaker and then gives him a backstabber. He picks up the Lucha Underground Championship, then notices Mysterio getting up and hits him across the forehead with it. He sees Puma trying to get up and then drops him the same way. He takes a microphone and says that is a small taste of payback for getting in his way when they teamed together against the Pinnacle of Sports Entertainment a few weeks ago. However, the real payback will come at Aztec Warfare when he takes the Lucha Underground Championship from Prince Puma, something that should have happened the very first night back in the Temple. Now, Pentagon is finally getting his rematch and he will not let it go to waste because he has “CERO MIEDO!”
