INTERNATIONAL LADIES PRO-WRESTLING
"BLAZE OF DARKNESS"
The show opens with Akira Hokuto, Etsuko Mita, and Mima Shimoda, the group known as LCO, making their way down a busy sidewalk on a street in a major city. They are pushing people around, threatening pedestrians until they make it into a small bar. Every patron in the bar turns to them before Hokuto grabs a bottle and smashes it, holding up the jagged edge like a knife.
Akira Hokuto:
"Where is Bull!?"
The bartender points to the back room and the three fearsome ladies make their way to the back, and nobody wants to mess with them.
Hokuto bursts through the door and we see Bull Nakano, sitting behind a desk smoking a cigar on the phone. She slams the phone down and snuffs out the stoagie.
Bull Nakano:
"You bitches come here to start trouble with me!?"
Bull places a hand on her nunchucks on the table. Hokuto laughs.
Akira Hokuto:
"I'm actually here for a favor, Bully. I saw what happened to you at the last show... I'm sure you saw what happened to me. We got some enemies and some business to take care of. How's about me and my girls help you square some things, and you help me by taking on a match with Etsuko and Mima, as I got some other business to take care of later in the night and need to be fresh."
Bull considers this, kicking her feet up onto the desk. She smirks.
Bull Nakano:
"Alright, you wanna help me get a piece of Kong? I'm in, you gutter hag. Now get lost, your ugly mugs are scaring off the business!"
Hokuto smiles and flips off Bull as they take off and we head to the opening credits for the show.
Azumi Hyuga & Command Bolshoi vs. Ran Yu-Yu & Toshie Uematsu
Hyuga would manage to get the win for her team in a short opener, continuing her momentum in a tough loss to Tamura on the last show, after hitting a Chaos Theory on Yu-Yu for the three count.
Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Kyoko Kimura
Kimura would lay a lot of damage on the "Lady Destroyer" Matsumoto in this match, but much like the last show against Kong, fell short after Hiroyo found energy from the fans and delivered a High Angle Thunder Fire Powerbomb for the three count.
Jaguar Yokota vs. Yoshiko Tamura
Yokota would try to keep the pace high in this match, and really had the fans going here. Tamura, though, would slow things down and show her technical prowess, actually winning the match with rival Mariko Yoshida's Spider Twist for the submission.
Cutie Suzuki & Dynamite Kansai vs. Kyoko Inoue & Takako Inoue
We had two similar pairings here doing battle, as Cutie and Kyoko are major white meat babyfaces, while Kansai is a shoot style bad ass and Inoue is a beautiful psychopath. The best parts of this match were really Takako enjoying just trying to tear fellow "idol" star Suzuki to pieces, but this was really to keep movingon Kanzai and Kyoko having a rivalry. In the end, Kyoko would deliver a Victoria Driver to put down Cutie for the three count.
Sonoko Kato vs. Yumiko Hotta
Hotta was able to overcome the very fiesty Kato in a tough strong style fight., Kato would hit two of her Dragon Suplexes, but Hotta would show her heart and eventually deliver her Pyramid Driver for the three count.
Backstage with Chigusa Nagayo.
Chigusa Nagayo:
"Hey! You girls out there, all of my fans, I've got a big match tonight and I need your help! I've got one of the toughest girls out there, Devil Masami, staring me down tonight, ready to rip my head off, and boy... My God, this is going to be a tough one. I feel it. Me and Asuka, we fought her and her buddy Ozaki last show, and they were tough customers. But I feel like we've got this if we are in it together. She's mean, she's ugly, and she's going to try to do permanent damage to me, but I've got another thing coming for her. I'm going to hit her hard and fast, and I'm going to have all of you screaming fans behind me, and we're going to show this bully who calls herself Devil what we are made of!"
Backstage with Devil Masami.
Devil Masami:
"Chigusa Nagayo represents everything I hate about humanity. She is needy, she is weak, and she lives off of her looks and appeal. She's got some heart, but all it does is mask her lack of talent. I've been in this sport for a long time, and they've tried to shove me to the side time and time again in favor of just this type of "idol" star. And let's be honest, she's not much when compared to some of these other girls out here when it comes to certain attributes. She's got the charisma, though. She's got spunk. And she obviously loves to take a beating, because I already pounded on her at the last show and for whatever reason she wants some more.
"She can come and get it. You fans love to see her wrestle? You want to cheer her on? I love to see her suffer. I love to see you sad, crying, and disappointed, as someone you've shunned and rejected rises in the ranks here in ILPW. I am nobody's midcard draw. I am not here to build up a show. I am a star, whether they like it behind the scenes or you fans think you know what you want... you're looking at the best and biggest star in women's wrestling today. And I'll break your precious "idols" to prove it."
Chigusa Nagayo vs. Devil Masami
Masami is very intimidating, and it made the fans get behind Chigusa all the more going into this match. Devil would work over the back consistently throughout this contest, and would beat down Chigusa on the outside, powerbombing her on the floor. Chigusa would show her heart that is so endearing throughout, selling her ass off all match like nobody's business, and she had these fans really buying into a comeback throughout with her enzuigiris and German Suplexes. Devil wasn't having any of that. Chigusa would try her own powerbomb, but Devil would put a stop to that and hit a couple of those on Chigusa, but Chigusa would keep kicking out. Finally, Masami would deliver a Gutwrench Suplex off the top rope, smashing Chigusa and the last bit of spirit out of her to keep her down for the three count.
The fans would still applaud Chigusa big in the end as she pulled herself up, refusing any help, but Devil definitely looks like a dominant force here.
We are backstage with Aja Kong.
Aja Kong:
"Bull! You thought you were so smart attacking me at the last show, but I proved to be too tough for you. I came and took you down, and I showed you are human and you can bleed! My protege Yoshida, she is as tough as they come, and while she may not be as big as you, she is more talented, with more class, and she showed you up for your arrogance.
"You digusting parasites want a fight, you blood sucking cancers on this business, then tonight we do just that. We fight again... and again... until I have wiped you out for good!"
Aja Kong, Combat Toyoda, and Mariko Yoshida vs. Bull Nakano, Etsuko Mita, and Mima Shimoda
Akira Hokuto is on the outside here cheering on her girls LCO, Mita and Shimoda, and letting former partner Nakano kind of take charge of the team here. This was all about Aja and Bull having massive heat, and this match barely had anything resembling an actual tag team match to go with it. You had a lot of those 90's era walk around the crowd and brawl spots, plenty of blood; at one point Hokuto brought a fire extinguisher in and blasted Kong with it to get her off of Nakano, allowing Shimoda and Mita to take her to the outside. Yoshida would attempt to capitalize on the punishment Kong had put on Nakano, but Nakano would manage to power out of the Air Raid Crash and kick her straight in the face, following up with the Poseidon, and that's always the end.
Nakano and LCO manage to get the victory here.
We are backstage with Megumi Kudo.
Megumi Kudo:
"I was once tossed away in this business, told I wasn't good enough and I thought my career was over. One day, a man came to me and he saw something in me and gave me an opportunity. I took that opportunity, and decided that I would approach this business in a fearless manner. I decided I would approach this business in a ruthless manner. At once, when that offer was on the table, I knew it didn't matter who stood across from me or what obstacle was put in my way, I would do whatever it took to be a star in this business.
"I didn't have that hunger when I started this journey. I wasn't pegged to be the next big star and I was just happy to be on the show. I had to learn the hard way that this business, this sport, this life... it owes nothing to anybody. And I have had to earn everything that has come my way ever since, and I've paid the blood price to get it.
"Manami, you've been a shooting star for a long time. Those same people who overlooked me saw you and fell in love. You had all of the opportunities I wished I would have had; achieved all of the accolades. Tonight, I finally get a chance to prove my detractors wrong. I get to move from cult status to mainstream and prove that I am finally ready for all of those accolades to be poured upon me. And I will do whatever it takes to get it.
"I am a starving and desperate animal, Toyota, and I am here to take what is finally mine."
We are backstage with Manami Toyota.
Manami Toyota:
"Kudome, I admire your grit, as everybody does. Your story, while inspirational, makes no difference tonight. I have faced the best in this business, main evented shows you couldn't even imagine, and no moment is too big for me. No challenge too great. No woman too tough for me to overcome. You are no different.
"Tonight, you may very well prove you are one of the best in this business, but the best? No, I don't think so. You have a big chip on your shoulder, and you'll be hard to put down, but I am here because I am the absolute best at what I do. I stand at the top of the greatest wrestling roster on the planet.
THE INTERNATIONAL TITLE
Manami Toyota (c) vs. Megumi Kudo
Megumi Kudo would get a huge pop coming out here, as "The Evil Princess" looks for some vindication in a career that has seen some crazy highs and crazy lows. However, before Toyota can even make it out, Akira Hokuto hits the ring from the crowd where she was apparently hiding out after the last match and she has a Kendo Stick!
Hokuto is beating the crap out of Kudo, and this is unbelievable! Toyota runs down to the ring with no theme music, and just blasts Hokuto with it, sending her flying out of the ring! Combat Toyoda and Toshiyo Yamada hit ringside and run off Hokuto, who darts off out through the crowd and this is madness!
Toyota is telling the referee she doesn't think the match should go on, and is trying to check on Kudo. Kudo is playing the attack like death, and picks herself up very slowly and wincing. Toyota tries to offer her hand to Kudo and show her respect, and try to offer her a way out after what just happened...
KUDO SLAPS HER RIGHT IN THE FACE!
"YOU FUCKIN' BITCH, YOU FIGHT ME! YOU COWARD!"
Kudo is staggering around the ring, holding her ribs and Toyota is stunned. She touches her face and once again tries to plead with Kudo, but Kudo tries to slap her again. Toyota narrowly dodges it and Kudo drops to a knee, but picks herself up on the ropes. She looks at Toyota, seething.
"HIT ME! FIGHT ME, YOU COWARD! HIT ME!"
Kudo dives at Toyota's legs and Toyota has no choice, she begins to fight, pounding on Kudo and this match is on!
Toyota turned a corner after that attack and she would lay into Kudo, picking up the pace and delivering a series of flying Dropkicks. She would slowly pick Kudo apart, trying to make her pay for her pride, but Kudo is as tough as they come. She refused to quit and Toyota would at times shake her head in disbelief, but would continue to ramp up her offense. The more Kudo would kick out at one or show her defiance, Toyota would would try to take her down harder, but Kudome would seem to grow stronger as the match went on, drawing the fans in and actually getting them to chant her on. All chants for Toyota had died out by 12 minutes into this contest, and this crowd was all behind Kudo! Toyota would try to deliver he Ocean Cyclone Suplex multiple times, but Kudo would either escape or she would reverse with a suplex, getting a big pop each time! Kudo would manage to start mounting her offense, and gaining some steam, but Toyota would manage to fly off the ropes and send Kudo flying out of the ring with a Dropkick, followed by a Front Flip Senton to the outside.
Back in the ring, Toyota would fly off the top with a Splash, but Kudo would still kick out! Toyota would call for the end and try to deliver a Cross Arm Suplex, but Kudo would break free and deliver a Headbutt, followed by a Regal Plex, bridging for the pinfall, but Toyota would kick out! Kudo yells out, holding her ribs but calling for the end! Kudome rips Toyota up to her feet by her hair and hooks her in....
SHE HITS IT! KUDOME VALENTINE!
Toyota has been smashed!
Kudo is slow to make the cover here, hurting very badly, but nobody kicks out of this move. The fans think she has the gold here, and they are on their feet. The referee begins the count.
ONE... TWO... THRE- NO! TOYOTA GETS THE FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!
Kudo slumps to the side, beside herself, as that was probably the last big move she had left in her. Kudo tries to grab Toyota by the hair and pull her up and into a Dragon Suplex, but Toyota breaks out and rolls her up, but Kudo manages to kick out! Toyota kicks her and grabs her, lifting her up!
FOLDING POWERBOMB AND TOYOTA BRIDGES IT HARD! SHE LOOKS LIKE A DAMN CRAB WITH THAT JACKNIFE HOLD!
ONE... TWO... THRE- NO MA'AM, KUDO IS OUT OF IT! "THE EVIL PRINCESS" IS STILL ALIVE!
Toyota is on all fours, wide eyed and realizing she has to hit the homerun, the long bomb, to really put this thing away. Kudo is staggering like a zombie, barely holding herself up on the ropes, backing up towards Toyota. Toyota blasts her to the back with an elbow, doubling her over. Toyota grabs her up and she lifts her up on her shoulders, Electric Chair position. Walking around, showing her power, showing her dominance, and yelling out, looking like the best champion of women's wrestling in all of the world...
JAPANESE OCEAN CYCLONE SUPLEX! BOOM! SHE'S BRIDGING AND SHE'S DONE!
ONE, TWO, THREE! TOYOTA RETAINS!
Toyota is up and she is celebrating with her title, lifting it on the ropes and looking very satisfied.
Kudo is rolling, trying to get up off of the mat, and Toyota sees this. Toyota grabs her by the hand and pulls her up and into an embrace, and the two hug it out for about ten seconds, before Toyota raises her hand. Toyota then grabs the microphone.
"Kudome, you have showed tonight that you belong with the best of the best. All those years ago, they made a mistake. They let go of a special talent. Tonight, I don't know who might have won had Akira Hokuto not done what she did... but tonight, I know I met an equal, and I will gladly give you another fight for this title any time!"
Toyota holds up the belt and Kudo is being embrace by Combat Toyoda, nearly in tears from the situation, and the show comes to a close.
