In the dead of night, the scene opens to a graveyard. We close in on an unmarked gravestone. There is no name on it, no dates of birth nor death are recorded on it. It is blank. Suddenly, Catrina appears. She slowly walks onto the grave, bends down to look at the clean gravestone. She grabs a handful of earth, lifts it up in front of her eyes and lets it slowly fall out of her hand. Then, she opens a handkerchief and removes a large stone. It is the very stone that came from the rubble of a collapsed building, which was caused by a massive earthquake in Mexico City. Out from that rubble rose a 7-year-old boy named Pasqual Mendoza. He was known in the Temple as Mil Muertes – the Man of a Thousand Deaths. There is a mystical connection between Mil Muertes and this very stone, which Catrina places at the foot of the gravestone. Could it be a calling for Mil Muertes to rise up from the Earth or is a signal that Pasqual Mendoza has finally passed into the afterlife, having experienced his final death at the hands of Roman Reigns, Hulk Hogan and John Cena at Ultima Lucha Tres? Whatever is the case, Catrina stands up, takes a final look down at the stone before vanishing out of sight.

WORLDWIDE UNDERGROUND vs. INFAMOUS INC.
Johnny Mundo, PJ Black & Taya Valkyrie vs. Dr. Wagner Jr., Mike Awesome & Dominik Dijakovic
Famous B’s mission to have Infamous Inc. win the Trios Championship got off to a poor start in episode one when his new client, Dominik Dijakovic mistakenly knocked Mike Awesome off the ring apron with a cyclone big boot. He hoped to make up for this when he gave Feast Your Eyes to PJ Black. However, he was unable to get the win as Taya broke up his pinfall attempt. A few minutes later, he attempted a topé con hilo on Johnny Mundo, but the Mayor of Slamtown got out of the way. This resulted in Dijakovic landing on Awesome and wiping him out. Back in the ring, Taya and Black were able to double-team Dr. Wagner Jr., with Black executing a fireman’s carry cutter that was punctuated by a curb stomp from Taya, who covered him for the win.
WINNERS : Worldwide Underground

ANCIENT AZTEC MEDALLION MATCH
Kalisto vs. Will Ospreay vs. Ivelisse Vélez vs. Damien Priest
This was the first of two matches for one of the seven Ancient Aztec Medallions. Acquiring a medallion gives the winner of this match an opportunity to win the Gift of the Gods. Other than Damien Priest, each of the other luchadores was known for taking risks by taking to the air, which each of them did. Priest even did that when he took out each of his opponents with an over-the-top-rope topé suicida. Will Ospreay was in position to win the match after he gave Ivelisse a superkick and then turned an Irish whip by Kalisto into an OsCutter. He made the pin but Priest broke it up with a stomp to the spine, which he followed up by lifting Ospreay into a cravate and then quickly gave him The Reckoning to get the win.
WINNER: Damien Priest

Chris Jericho is in the Lucha Underground personal training room doing a DDP yoga pose when his phone rings. It’s his lawyer. He picks up the phone and starts complaining to him about the bum treatment he’s been getting, including a bullshit decision to surprise him with a mystery opponent in last week’s main event. He says he totally could’ve beat Samoa Joe had he known to prepare for a match with him but Joe’s a ruthless killer and it wasn’t his fault anyway because it was the brat Sammy Guevara that kept interfering in the match and it cost him dearly. He tells his lawyer that he wants him to find a way to get him out of his contract – post haste! His lawyer reminds him that he lost a loser leaves lucha match at the first Ultima Lucha, so he shouldn’t even be under contract. Jericho tells him to shut up and just get it done, then he hangs up abruptly on him.
As he goes back to working out, Sammy Guevara comes in and apologizes for what happened last week. Jericho tells him that he doesn’t want to hear it and that if he ever sees his face again, he’ll slap those boyband good looks off it. Guevara says it’s understandable that he feels that way but he tells him that Jericho is his idol. He’s the luchador Guevara has always looked up to. In fact, Jericho is like the father he never had. He tells him that one way or another, he’s going to fix this problem for him. Guevara gives Jericho his solemn word that the Spanish God he’ll be rewarded for his years of struggle and turmoil in Lucha Underground. Jericho asks him who in the hell is the Spanish God and Guevara tells him that he’s looking at him. Jericho laughs and tells him there’s no way he’s a god. He tells Guevara to get lost because he’s interrupting his workout.

ANCIENT AZTEC MEDALLION MATCH
Eddie Guerrero vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Akam vs. Ortiz
This was the second first of two matches for one of the seven Ancient Aztec Medallions. This match featured a variety of luchadores with very different ring styles. Akam brought the power. Ortiz went for high risks. Shayna Baszler was a striker who targeted limbs and tried to submit her opponents. And Eddie Guerrero was the fasted luchador in the ring, but also the one who was most at ease with working in any style. The end of the match came after Akam gave Ortiz a huge sit-out powerbomb. Baszler pulled him into a rear-naked choke with a body scissors to try to get him to either give up or pass out. However, Guerrero climbed the turnbuckle and performed a frog splash onto Akam, whose 300-pound frame squashed Baszler. With Ortiz knocked out and Baszler in too much pain to get up, Guerrero was able to pin Akam without anyone breaking it up, thus giving him the win and one of the seven Ancient Aztec Medallions.
WINNER: Eddie Guerrero

Pentagon DARK vs. Roman Reigns
Pentagon DARK vs. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns caught Pentagon DARK off guard by jumping out with a spear as soon as the opening bell was rung. He then dragged Pentagon out of the corner and made the pin. 1-2-kick out! Reigns couldn’t believe it. He questioned the ref, giving Pentagon a few seconds to collect his wits. Still, Pentagon was in an unenviable position. Reigns continued his attack, running through his repertoire of high impact, big power maneuvers. He stopped to make frequent pinfall attempts. Pentagon kicked out of all of them. When lined him up for another spear, Pentagon moved out of the way and Reigns got caught in the turnbuckles with his shoulder slamming into the turnbuckle post.
Pentagon took advantage by firing off some punt kicks to Reigns’ calf muscles. When Reigns was finally able to dislodge himself from the turnbuckles, he received a lung blower from Pentagon. Now in control, Pentagon deliberately slowed the pace. He was methodical in his approach, interspersing knife-edge chops, open palm strikes, shoot kicks, and targeted punt kicks with suplexes, DDTs, and a few high risk maneuvers off the turnbuckles. When Pentagon set up for a package piledriver, Reigns countered with a back body drop, which Pentagon turned into a sunset flip to get a 2-count.
Once back to their feet, Pentagon avoided a superman punch and struck with a pair of sling blades. He went to the top rope and executed a diving double-foot stomp to Reigns’ lower back as he was on his hands and knees. Then, he flipped him over and pinned him, but Reigns was able to reach the bottom rope with his right hand. He fled the ring to get a breather. Pentagon would not let up. He attempted a topé con hilo, but Reigns turned it into a powerbomb off the side of the ring apron!
That was the turning point in the match. Reigns sent Pentagon back into the ring, and while Pentagon was able to kick out of the ensuing pinfall attempt, after a pair of superman punches and a Samoan drop, he was lined up for another spear. Reigns connected and pinned him for the win.
Following his win, Reigns was joined in the ring by Hulk Hogan, who ripped away at Pentagon’s ring gear to expose his back. He revealed a can of spray paint, which he began shaking up. It was at this time that Rey Mysterio Jr. ran to the ring. He dropped Reigns to the mat with a springboard seated senton. Hogan tried to attack but Mysterio gave him a drop toehold into the ropes and then performed the 6-1-9 on him. Then, he pulled Pentagon DARK out to the floor, leaving Reigns and Hogan in the ring. Mysterio made the save, but Hogan vowed to get his revenge on him.
WINNER: Roman Reigns
