"Ladies and gentlemen, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!"
The fans are welcomed to a very special edition of ECW Hardcore TV and the return episode after negotiations with their broadcast network being "too dangerous for TV!" we have a Halloween episode which many fans did not expect to see on their TV listing tonight. Tony Schiavone and Joel Gertner say there's no card to run down, but an individual match, with Raven vs Tommy Dreamer happening in a special ECW Halloween Bash Brawl, and it will go the entire 60 minutes of this show if need be!
Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven - ECW Halloween Bash Brawl
Just as Schiavone announced, we're having a brawl between the debuting Raven and an old rival of his, Tommy Dreamer. This match was set for ECW Wrestlepalooza but after ECW was banned from all states for violating wrestling regulations and taken off the air, it seemed that it would be it for them, but guess not! Dreamer and Raven go straight off the bat, nailing stiff shots at each other's head. After trading punches for awhile the vengeful Tommy Dreamer tackles Raven into the corner and continues the punches. Dreamer grabs a handful of Raven's hair and throws him into the corner, continuing. Dreamer starts incorporating some of the special weapons in the match, like a pumpkin and a tombstone!
Dreamer and Raven take the brawl outside the ring where Raven gains the upper hand with an irish whip into the ring post. Raven grabs a chair that he beats Dreamer over the back with and then knocks him out with a clean shot to the head. The boos rain in at Raven and he doesn't care at all! Raven picks up Dreamer and goes for a Piledriver onto the chair, but Dreamer reverses with a back body drop onto the concrete! Just as it looks like Dreamer can get the advantage again, Stevie Richards runs down and nails Dreamer from behind! Schiavone and Gertner go over Richards, the "idiot" who brought Raven to ECW after calling Dreamer out. Three months ago was the debut for all three of these men but they all have history it seems and it seems to grow bigger and bigger.
Richards continues to put the boots to Dreamer and the fans are booing loudly. Richards picks up Dreamer and puts him in the ring, and then helps Raven up. Raven calls for Richards to get up and Richards drags Dreamer up, lifting him on his shoulders. Raven nods as Richards drops Dreamer with a samoan drop straight onto a pumpkin! Raven continues to put the boots to Dreamer and stays in firm control for awhile. It looks like all hope is lost for Dreamer but help is on the way with The Public Enemy! Johnny Grunge and Rocco Rock run down the ring and hit Richards and Raven with chairs! Rocco Rock and Grunge roll out the ring and take Richards out with him, double teaming him and giving him the beating of his life!
Raven is back up in the ring and so is Dreamer, and Dreamer kicks him in the gut and nails a DDT! Dreamer goes for the cover; the first pin attempt surprisingly in the match. One! Two! RAVEN KICKS OUT! Dreamer isn't shocked though, he seems more happy because he can inflict more pain and damage on Raven.
Dreamer watches Public Enemy beat Richards up outside the ring, but little do they know they're attacked by the men they were supposed to face for the ECW World Tag Team titles, the Hart Foundation! It's all three of them too! Brian Pillman Jr, Teddy Hart, and Davey Boy Smith Jr all attack Public Enemy and now they're at the hands of a handicap attack! It's chaos all over the place as the direction is pointed back to the ring where Raven nails Dreamer with a metal bowl with a bunch of candy corn in it! Raven drops the bowl and looks down at what's left in there and goes to pick up Dreamer until a groggy Stevie Richards rolls in and stops him.
Richards tells Raven he's got this, apparently wanting to embarass Dreamer by shoving his head into the candy cane, but Dreamer fights back! Dreamer pushes Richards into Raven, knocking him down. This gives Dreamer the chance to kick Richards in the gut and bring him towards the bowl for a piledriver straight into the bowl of candy corn! Dreamer shoves Richards out the way with his head stuck in the bowl.
Dreamer has a smirk on his face but again is oblivious to Raven who nails him in the back of the head with a baseball bat! Raven mocks the fans and their tears and then proceeds to pick Dreamer up. Raven uses his boot to slide a chair towards his way. Even Flow DDT onto the chair! Raven rolls Dreamer over and hooks the legs.. One! Two! Three! It is all over! The fans boo and Raven rolls to his knees, nodding slowly. Tommy Dreamer lays there, blood pouring from the back of his head and a cut on his forehead.
Raven raises his arms up, celebrating the win while security's busy trying to get the Hart Foundation and Public Enemy away from each other. Raven rolls out and pulls the whining Stevie Richards with him as the two limp their way to the back. Referees and officials enter the ring and check on the lifeless body of Tommy Dreamer, still knocked clean out after that shot to the back of the head with a baseball bat.
Referees help Dreamer out and the fans clap and cheer for him, and Schiavone and Gertner go to write the fans off but we're stopped by the tune of a familiar theme.. It's the bad boy and ECW World Champion himself, Joey Janela! Janela makes his way down to the ring and he has a mic in hand! Janela tells the fan not to go anywhere and tells the morons out back to not switch to the next show, because this show isn't going off the air, this show isn't ending until he gets Jacob Fatu in this ring right now for a match!
Janela waits and waits, and the theme song plays of Contra Unit and Jacob Fatu runs down the ramp alone and enters the ring! Janela calls for a referee into the ring and we're having an impromptu ECW World Title match to this return Halloween special show!
Joey Janela vs. Jacob Fatu - ECW World Championship
Janela immediately dropkicks Fatu and uses his speed to hit him repeatedly. But despite being big, Fatu is just as agile and for the fifth go around Fatu catches Janela with a pop up samoan-drop! Fatu drags Janela up and starts beating him in the corner with strikes then proceeds to manhandle him. Fatu kicks Janela down and starts to stomp him over and over. Fatu picks Janela up and chokes him, then throws him to the ropes for a superkick.
The boos are loud from the fans but Fatu doesn't care and focuses on beating the crap out of Janela. Fatu drags Janela up and chokes him. Fatu shoves Janela into the corner and applies pressure on Janela, choking him out. Fatu punches Janela over and over in the stomach then boots him down. Fatu laughs to himself then drags Janela up and throws his arm over his shoulder. Fatu lifts Janela up and drops him for a uranage backbreaker!
Fatu covers Janela for only a two count and continues the brutal attack. Janela tries his best to fght back but he falls and falls each time. Fatu is clearly throwing Janela around and he's struggling to get up. Fatu hits the ropes and Janela catches him with a flying crossbody! Janela ground and pounds Fatu on the mat and Fatu rolls out to recouperate! Janela is up and now he's climbing the top rope!
Janela wasting no time! Top rope dropkick to the outside! Janela is clutching the back of his head and Fatu is down and out! Janela nods to the chants of his name and slowly gets up. Janela drags Fatu to his feet and throws him in. Janela climbs the top rope once more and calls for Fatu. Janela goes for a top rope axe handle but Fatu catches him with a choke! Fatu lifts Janela and drops him down with a brutal chokeslam. Fatu steps out the ring and climbs the top rope to hit a Top Rope Samoan Splash! Fatu covers Janela instantly after. One! Two! Janela kicks out!
Fatu slaps the mat, getting angry. Fatu drags Janela up and straps his arm over his shoulder. Fatu lifts Janela up but Janela elbows Fatu repeatedly. Janela spins out and kicks Fatu in the gut. Janela hooks the head of Fatu and attempts a brainbuster but Fatu holds onto his waist. Fatu lifts Janela up and launches him out of the ring! Fatu falls over, holding his head. Fatu yells for the referee to count, but that's not going to win him the ECW World Championship! Fatu realizes this and rolls out the ring, dragging Janela up. Fatu double chokes Janela but Janela kicks him in the gut! Janela punches Fatu repeatedly then grabs him by the wrist and irish whips him into the ringpost! Janela sees his chance and looks under the ring, grabbing a chair.
Janela yells to the referee, "DQ me and I'll hit you with this chair too!" That gets a loud expression from the crowd as Janela walks over, calling for Fatu to get up as he leans against the ring post. Janela smashes the chair into Fatu's head sending him into the ring post! Janela nods as the "EC DUB" chants fill the arena and Janela drags Fatu up. Janela throws Fatu in the ring and hops the apron, climbing the top rope. Janela raises the chair and calls for the fans to chant alongside him. "I'M A BAD, BAD, BOY!" Janela goes for a top rope elbow drop with the chair but Fatu rolls out the way! Janela faceplants face first into the mat with the chair! Fatu stumbles up and Janela gets up as well, still holding the chair in his hand. Fatu superkicks Janela with the chair! Fatu falls ontop of Janela and hooks the legs. One! Two! Janela kicks out!
Fatu looks around shocked, but he knows what he must do to put Janela to bed. Fatu drags Janela up, and yells something in a different language that the fans can't understand. Fatu shoves Janela into the ropes and pops him up for a samoan drop! Fatu kips up and rushes over to the top rope where he hits his Triple Jump Moonsault from across the ring! Fatu covers Janela! One! Two! THREE! WE HAVE A NEW ECW WORLD CHAMPION!
Jacob Fatu rises to his feet and nods slowly, laughing as the rest of Contra Unit come down. Josef Samael, Simon Gotch and Ikuro Kwon all help Fatu up and Samael hands the ECW World Championship to Fatu who nods slowly. Samael raises up the arm of Fatu and so does Gotch while Kwon raises the Contra Unit flag over Joey Janela. Tony Schiavone officially signs us out for the show and remarks that ECW may be back on TV, but it will be a very different ECW with these men in control of the ECW World Championship..
