At the beginning of this week’s show, we see a Dodge Charger pull into the alley behind the Temple and come to a stop in one of the few parking spaces adjacent to the back entrance. Driving the car is Mustafa Ali. He gets an incoming call from an undisclosed number and answers it. On the other line is his handler, Chief Schwarzenegger, who tells him that an undercover LAPD detective who was assigned to the Temple has gone missing. Ali asks him who that was. Schwarzenegger says it was Agent Ricky Reyes. He was competing in the Temple under the alias of Cortez Castro, a local Boyle Heights gangbanger. Ali knows who that is, and he says he thinks he knows who knows where he is. Schwarzenegger tells him that he’ll now have to look inside this missing person’s case in addition to investigate who killed Dario Cueto. He says he’ll get right on it. Schwarzenegger has one last thing to say – be careful. If Reyes, who he’s been told was the best undercover cop the LAPD had, could have his cover blown, then anyone can. Ali tells him not to worry about him. No one knows who he is.

Mexicools vs. Worldwide Underground
Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis & Super Crazy vs. Johnny Mundo, Taya Valkyrie & PJ Black
Worldwide Underground defeated Mexicools by pinfall in this trios contest that was full of high-flying, high-risk maneuvers. These teams were no strangers to each other as they have faced off earlier in the season. In that previous contest, the Worldwide Underground won the match when Johnny Mundo pinned Psicosis after giving him Starship Pain. This time, however, it would be Taya who earned the pinfall for her team. Building off the momentum of her Dario Cueto Luchadoras Cup tournament victory, Taya looked like a million bucks every time she entered the ring. While her partners, Mundo and Black dove out of the ring to take down Guerrera and Psicosis, Taya gave Super Crazy a curb stomp and pinned him for the win.
After the win, Asuka made a surprise appearance in the Temple. She came into the ring wearing her Mash-Up Wrestling Women’s Championship. Once she got there, she told Taya she looked good. In fact, she looked really good, but warned her that she would not take her title because she’s not ready for Asuka!
Before Taya could say much of anything in response, Sexy Star entered the Temple and complained that she hasn’t got her due. She claimed she was the best luchadora in the world and that she should have the Mash-Up Wrestling Women’s Championship match at Ultima Lucha Tres. Asuka looked at Taya and said she’ll prove to her why no one is ready for Asuka, and then told Sexy Star that she’ll give her a title match right here, right now!

MASH-UP WRESTLING WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Asuka vs. Sexy Star
Asuka defeated Sexy Star by submission to retain her Mash-Up Wrestling Women’s World Championship. The Worldwide Underground remained at ringside to watch this contest. Asuka often looked in their direction in between executing maneuvers on Sexy Star. She toyed with her challenger at times and proved herself to be clearly superior to Sexy Star in every way. After about 4 and a half minutes, she put Sexy Star in the Asuka Lock and forced her to tap out. While holding her title high in the air and looking down at Taya on the floor, Asuka was hit from behind with a chair by Sexy Star, who immediately tried to put her in a cross-arm breaker. However, just as soon as she did this, Rosemary ran out to the ring, causing Sexy Star to release the hold and flee from the ring.

In doing so, he became the third luchador to qualify for the Gift of the Gods match at Ultima Lucha Tres. Ali and Son of Havoc were evenly matched and equally skilled in the high-risk, high-flying art of lucha libre. They showed off a dazzling array of kicks, speedy attacks, and maneuvers executed from the top ropes. It was a 12-minute contest that went back-and-forth until Son of Havoc signaled he was going to end it and then climbed up to the top rope to go for his shooting star press. Ali got up and tripped him up on the top turnbuckle. After that, he climbed up the turnbuckle and gave him a Spanish fly. He made the pin and got the three count to win the match.

“Macho King” Randy Savage and Sensational Queen Sherri are in the Lucha Underground locker room where Savage is putting the finishing touches on his ring attire. Savage fastens the title belt around his waist as Sherri ties a fully sequined cape around his neck. Then, Sherri places his crown on top of his head. He is ready to go to the ring. He tells Sherri to go ahead, he just needs to go to the bathroom one last time. He enters the bathroom that is adjacent to the locker rooms and removes his sunglasses. He asks his reflection if he has anything to fear tonight. His reflection tells him that death is nothing to be afraid of. Instead, he must fear the Prince who seeks to dethrone him as he is the only true threat to the crown.

LUCHA UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“Macho King” Randy Savage w/ Sensational Queen Sherri vs. Mil Muertes w/ Catrina
“Macho King” Randy Savage defeated Mil Muertes by pinfall retain the Lucha Underground Championship. Mil Muertes was in the unfamiliar and unusual position of being the fan favourite for this match versus the extremely unpopular “Macho King.” They had a very intense and spirited battle over the biggest prize in lucha that was marred by interference from an unlikely source.
It was a violent affair that broke out into a no holds barred brawl early on. Both luchadores tried to choke each other out. They used kendo sticks and steel chairs on one another. Mil Muertes put Savage through a table on the floor with a 180-degree spinning chokeslam. Savage gave Mil Muertes a piledriver on the ring bell! In spite of this act, as they were far from the ring, by the time he got the Man of a Thousand Deaths back in the ring, he was able to shoulder out of the pinfall. The match also saw both of their managers get involved. Sherri and Catrina ended up fighting with Sherri knocking Catrina out with a block to the head from the Macho King’s royal sceptre. Sherri got her comeuppance when Mil Muertes got his hands on her and gave her a Flatliner!
In the dying moments of the contest, Savage broke free from the set up for the Flatliner and took Mil Muertes down with a series of running knee strikes to the face and then a shining wizard. He went to the top rope to execute his diving elbow drop but crashed hard into the canvas when Mil Muertes rolled away. The Man of a Thousand Deaths got up and lined up Savage for a Reaper’s Trident Spear through a table propped up in the corner of the ring. When Savage got to his feet, Mil Muertes began to charge, but he was speared himself by Roman Reigns!
The Big Dog slid under the ropes and timed his attack perfectly. He then picked up Mil Muertes and put him through the table with a Samoan drop. After dragging him out from the corner, Reigns left the ring. As he walked away, he could be heard saying that this should be his title match and muttering something about how Mil Muertes didn’t deserve to win the fatal fourway Dario Cueto Luchador’s Cup semi-final in which they both competed. With Mil Muertes down and out, Savage went to the top rope and dove off it to land his patented diving elbow drop. A 3-count later put another successful title defense in the record books for him.

We go into the basement dungeon of the Temple, where Antonio Cueto is keeping his son Matanza locked up behind prison cell bars. Antonio opens the large metal door to enter the room where the cell is located. Matanza turns to look at his father and he doesn’t move. Antonio has come to speak to Matanza. He wants to find out if he has learned from his past mistakes and repented for his sins, most notably for causing the death of his brother Dario. This shall be the ultimate test. Antonio steps back from the cell, removes the cell door key from around his neck and throws it into the cell. He stands back, and leaning on his cane, he closes his eyes. Matanza takes the key, opens the lad padlock chained to the cell door, and then takes the lock into his hands and rips it apart. He walks up to his father and then kneels down before him and bows his head to the floor. Antonio opens his eyes to see his son. He grins and then says, “My son, now you are ready to become a God!”
