NWA Championship Wrestling
MUW presents NWA Championship Wrestling on ESPN Saturday 10-6
(Taped 10-3 from Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, Miss.)
NWA lead announcer Joey Styles welcomes the fans to show. His co-announcer/interviewer Eden Stiles will be conducting ring introductions for tonight's matches. First Joey presents a taped interview with NWA World's Heavyweight Champion 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin after last Saturday night's Bad to the Bone Pay Per View from the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, La. A furious Austin takes the microphone & states "the MUW so called World's Heavyweight Chump Braun Strowman did not beat me. My foot was on the bottom rope & the match should not have counted & the match continued. Strowman, you haven't seen the last of Steve Austin. When we meet again, I'll be walking out with your DAMN belt."
Styles tells the viewers they will see Mitsuhara Misawa, NWA Women's World Champ Gail Kim, NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge against 'Magnum' Terry Allen, Dick Murdoch subbing for injured 'Cowboy' Bill Watts against 'Handsome' Harley Race then with time permitting, a World's Tag Team Title rematch between the new champs the Original Midnight Express & former champs the Brisco Brothers. Joey sends us the ring for the first match of the evening.
First Match. Single Match. Mitsuhara Misawa w/mgr. 'Playboy' Gary Hart defeated Bob Roop with the Emerald Frosion. (8:47). Roop was a tough opponent ffor Misawa who could play by the rules or break them.

Second Match. Non-Title Ladies Single Match. NWA World's Women's Champion Gail Kim defeated Britt Baker with the standing octopus. (7:13).
Following the match, Eden talks briefly with Gail. Kim states, 'I had a good game plan & I almost made it work. Charlotte Flair is a great MUW Women's Champ. I gave it my best shot but it wasn't good enough that night. We'll meet again & I'll be more aggressive that ever until I am wearing that belt."

Third Match. Non-Title Single Match. NWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge wrestled to a time limit draw with 'Magnum' Terry Allen. (10:00). Very scientific match from start to finish.

Elimination Match to determine challenger for Steve Austin. 'Dirty' Dick Murdoch (sub for injured 'Cowboy' Bill Watts who was not cleared to wrestle tonight) defeated 'Handsome' Harley Race with the brain buster. (3:13). Murdoch attacked Race before the bell rang & opened a huge gash on Harley's forehead. When the bell did ring, Dick pounded on the injured Harley before hitting his pet hold for the victory.
The hated Texan took the microphone to say, "Bill Watts ain't hurt. He didn't have the guts to show up tonight. I whipped his tail on the Pay Per View last Saturday night. Now, I want a shot at that Texas bum with the NWA World's Heavyweight Belt -- MY BELT! Steve Austin, it's only a matter of time before we step in that ring together. It's gonna be a fight, Austin. You had better take real good care of that belt. Because I'm coming for it!"

NWA World's Tag Team Title Match. (New Champs): the Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/mgr. Baby Doll defeated (Chall): Jack & Jerry Brisco to retain the belts. Brisco's had the express on the run until Baby Doll used one of the belts to hit Jerry behind the head when he was trapped in the Express corner.
With little time left, Joey & Eden run down today's action & remind the fans to tune in next week for more NWA Championship Wrestling.
